I experience a horrible experience this past time i stayed @ ESTELAR SUITE JONES in BOGOTA, due to that they oversold my 1st out of 2 nights reservation to someone else., i was then moved to one out of four ESTELAR line hotels in Bogota, wich i was pleased with at that time with the new move with the chaotic lost of time first night stay., in the 2nd day/night of my stay @ ESTELAR CALLE 100 HOTEL i was told i could not stayed @ the relocated hotel wich was @ ESTELAR CALLE 100 due to that they were oversold that day/night of march 18., so i had no choise then to go back to original reserved hotel @ ESTELAR CALLE 100 HOTEL, so i had another second day of more lost time in gathering and packing all my personal belongings to go back to ESTELAR SUITE JONES HOTEL 🏨

El unico problema es si usted es una persona calurosa o padece de calor ..no viaje en el verano de Bogota..El hotel no tiene aire acondicionado las tardes son de calor no obstante por la noche hace frio si esta en Habitación de esquina. Simplemente habra las dos ventanas y entra el frio..No se escuchan los ruidos de la calle.

Nice hotel with pleasant staff.
Check in took a long time despite having given my details in advance.
Bedroom was cold and when asked reception for heating I was advised that there is none!

The only downside I believe would be the surrounding neighborhood which doesn’t feel pretty safe to walk on the afternoon/night

No heating or AC available in the room- pretty much you have to either regulate temperature by opening or closing a window and downtimes it does get very hot. Pretty much English is very limited, it was struggle communicating and the staff just seems confused and not very service oriented. Rooms are very basic in decor- very large in size so if you have a bigger party that’s fine but they seem very empty with no decor really. My room ac ty ally had an echo.alsovery loud- you can hear everything form the hallways or outside. Overall would not stay there again.

Loved our experience here. The building and property is very nice, has an elevated feel to it. The service is top notch. The room was nice and big, much larger than expected. We loved the breakfast service in the morning, honestly one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The location was also great. Generally felt safe and lots of good restaurants nearby, including El Chato and Mesa Franca. Highly recommend staying here.

We generally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. A few notes for those considering staying here. The area is pretty good and we generally felt safe walking around. The hotel itself is fine. It’s not updated but for the price we didn’t really mind at all. The elevators are *small* but the rooms are large and clean. They use a cleaning product that smells somewhat like paint (it was strange to us and we actually asked to change our room at first because the smell was somewhat overwhelming) - maybe it’s something they use in Colombia but it was a first for us. The included breakfast was pretty good and a nice touch for the price as well. One thing we didn’t notice when booking - there is no air conditioning. This would have been a dealbreaker for us had we known in advance.

I changed room 2 times.
Noisy and cranky.
I asked manager for refund or free night he refused ! What a shame.
Breakfast runs out fast and they don’t refill it.
I really didn’t want to stay there.
Dont lure for the price as you’ll pay for it.

The hotel was convenient to Chapinero. The room was cleaned daily. There was no A/C unit in the room. When we initially arrived, the airport yellow taxi tried to charge a flat rate instead of using the metered rate. The person at the front desk was of no help. I paid the correct metered rate with extra 20 percent on top of that and left it there. Regarding the hotel breakfast, amazing inclusive breakfast options. Probably needs to be slightly more attentive to keeping things filled up until at least 15 minutes to the end of breakfast (juice, toast, and eggs). The maid did leave our room door open and I spoke with the front desk to just confirm with housekeeping that they make sure the door is closed after servicing the room. I'm not sure the hotel front desk took this seriously or if it was just a language barrier, but security did come up to the room to speak with us. Nothing was taken and just wanted to remind the housekeeping to make sure room doors are closed. We utilized the safe inside the rooms. The front desk person's English became much better after calling them again with security to help translate the concern. At check out, they had a different room number's room service check(s) posted to our room. The different room number was clearly posted on our bill. This was easily resolved with a statement on the bill and my signature beneath that. However, this shouldn't happen. Overall, I would consider selecting this hotel again when I return.

I keep coming back to Estellar Hotels because they are always consistently exceptional. Even during the pandemic when manpower and resources were difficult, they were always on top of everything and if not able to take care of something, they were very communicative about when things would be happening. Especially at the Hotel Estellar Jones Suites in Bogota! The rooms are what I call \"basic\" luxury with comfortable, large and secure, exactly what I need for my travel. Good comfortable accomodations. The beds and pillows are always very comfortable and room & maid service is great. Even durng the pandemic the breakfast was always on-time and delicious. This last visit it was even better than I've ever remembered. I have stayed in Estellars in Cartegena, Medellin and Bogota and I look for them in my travels because of depenability, good pricing and a great staff.
