The front staff will keep you waiting outside before they open the door for you. There are 2 staff inside chatting and can not open the door. Waited few minutes and had to buzzed few times.
Don't stay here for security reason..

This is actually a review for THE GRACE Chapinero as i was transferred to them from Hotel Living 55.

Grace Hotel Chapinero is a great hotel with a great staff. Walking distance to everything as the hotel itself is in a very good condition. Clean rooms

No extra towel.
I have been staying here many many times. The property itself is good. But for amenities, you have to ask from the desk everytime. No hand towel, no face towel, no bathmat. No hair dryer.
They have kitchen in the room but no utilities. No cooking pan, no cooking pot. Nothing.

Other boutique hotels are getting ahead of them.. Grace is a good hotel option, it belongs to Hotel Living also.

The property is very affordable.
The check in agent were all helpful and friendly.

The only thing is, the towels in the room.
For a big room 2 towels and no hand towels.

I did booked at Hotel Living but due to maintenance, I was then sent to the other Hotel called Grace Hotel Chapinero.

I was greeted by Santiago and he was very helpful. He was very apologetic and explained to me why I got sent to this location instead.the place is great on the inside. Clean and modern. The bad thing is outside, It's hard to tell where the entrace of a hotel if you cant see the number.
Outside is a little bit dark and no lights or big signage.
(Its just a suggestion..)

Make the entrance more noticeable and maybe a Glass door?
Overall, it was a great stay.
I will stay here next time.

Booked 1 night and end up booking 1 more night.
Front desk agents are helpful and very attentive to details. There is a guy that checked us in on Dec 8, 2021 in the laye afternoon that speak good english. He is awesome.

The lady the ff morning speaks a little english but we were manage to manage to get things together. She is awesome too. Great place. 35K from BOG to the property. 15Kpesos from the property to La Candelaria. In the middle of everything.

Bars. Transportations. Convenient Store. Restaurant. All walking distance.

Not that dangerous as other people think and say. I was able to walk around the streets past midnight on my phone (iphone13) playing Pokemon.

Nice but not.

The housekeepers made my stay enjoyable.
Truly kind individuals.
The building is really nice, however, if you plan on booking for more than a night know that you can literally hear your neighbors neighbors neighbor.
If you require privacy you may want to book for one night or two.
Some rooms have a terrace/balcony facing inwards.

The experience was pleasant overall the facility was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Checking in and out a breeze.

The negative: we booked a room with terrace but received a room without. The mattress was quite worn and the bottom sheet had some small blood stains but we could tell it had been washed.

Overall this place has the potential to be great if they put a little bit of money in to the bedding.

Compared to other hotels the problems we had were minor. The price here plus the taxi from the airport both ways was far better than anything we would be willing to stay in near the airport. For what we paid we were happy and would use this hotel in the future.

I had a very nice stay at Hotel Living 55. the location was convenient with lots of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The room was nice. The street side was a little loud if I had the window open but didn't bother me at night as it was cool in my room and there was AC if I needed it. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. the breakfast was good. I will return.

So on our last day at the hotel we had no light the whole day and night. I asked for a day refund the guy told me I need to contact the hotel when I returned back home to see if I could get a refund, like seriously? No type of customer service no one ever contacted me and no one ever assisted me through phone. Will not stay here by the way the hotel is more like an motel really small and you can hear everything inside out smh.

This hotel has a great staff! The daily breakfast was good and brought to your room upon your request. The maid service was fantastic, the lady really went out of her way for us. The room was comfortable with a great private deck to the outside of the room. Any questions were answered quickly by staff as where to go for food, excitement. It's really a neat little hotel. They go out of there way for you at this hotel. Close to restaurants, stores and shopping.

The head manager was very friendly and helpful and so were most of the staff.

Only thing I would recommend is improving the breakfast service. Menu should be simpler, very confusing re choices, had to return order a few times. English should be improved if hotel is to be international for non Spanish speakers, though don’t have a problem myself. Service is very good at reception

Great deal in a great location.

Ive stayed here many times, the location is great walk out the front door & everything is at your fingertips, room is small but cozy, I had major Internet problems but they werr very quick to respond and get people out to work on it, the repair tool longer than expected but they made it up with a credit, but this last time cause I was a bit sick and took more than an hour to check out they billed me half a day which I felt shouldnt happened to a repeat customer, I didn't complain I just wont return again, there is alot of competition they need to kot squeeze $ out of their repeat customers but maintain their loyalty.

weather was nice and cool.... road traffic could be heard from hotel room, building could have had better sound proofing. Had a language problem with reception, if you don't speak Spanish you are in trouble as breakfast has to be ordered via telephone. There was no dining room to eat your breakfast.

Very nice hotel, good helpfull staff. Good location if you have to be in the location.

Things I had issue with was having one small soap to use for couple of days for two people. And Breakfast hour was closed sooner than what was told to us by the maid.

One advice use the lock box in the rooms.

Modern Apartment Style Hotel

Front entrance looks a little sketchy, but what is inside can make up for it. Nice modern facilities and you will have breakfast sent to your room. Hotel is centrally located, however it can be a bit noisy throughout the day and night. I would not advise walking outside at night but during the day is fine. Overall it met most of my needs (i.e. free wifi, breakfast, transportation from the airport (which was a little bit overpriced) but they picked me up with no problems. Staff is friendly and helpful and most of the staff speaks English. FYI: There is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage try and request to stay on the second floor.

We arrived at 1am and got put in a pretty poor room for our first night with several things from ad missing, plus it had see through curtains looking onto a loud, bright street. So not much sleep. We pointed out the things missing and were moved the next day.
Things that were missing: toilet paper (had to ask), water (advertised as free bottles water), DVD player, espresso machine, garden view (loud street view), kitchen didn't have forks. Thenathroom wasn't clean & missing a bath mat.
The next room had actual curtains which was much better for sleeping. Bottled water was only on the first day but maybe you have to ask for it (along with cups, DVD player, toilet paper, cutlery)
The breakfast was pretty awesome but had some inconsistencies.. One day no fruit, got scrambled eggs when asked for fried, coffee strong one day and weak (think dishwater weak) the next.
The cleaning/ breakfast staff were helpful and friendly. The front desk depended on who you got. One guy gave me audible exasperated sighs when trying to order breakfast in my average spanish.
Overall it was good value as we got a discount but at full price I'd probably be more bothered by the inconsistencies.

I did not know the town at all.

The Hotel staff was great and spoke English. If you are not from the area I would not recommend to leave the hotel after sunset... It is not a safe neighbourhood. I learned it was a bad part of town after I landed and spoke to a few locals.

No Frills \"Hotel\", nice deal overall

No frills hotel in the Chapinero neighborhood of Bogota. If you are scared of anything less than an elite neighborhood, then you shouldn't book any hotel in this area. I enjoyed our stay. The staff it nice, but many of them don't speak English, so be aware of that. Fortunately, my girlfriend speaks some Spanish. Great price point and nice deal overall for what you get.

I enjoyed the apartment-style amenities in this hotel — great for cooking and eating in room, and the room rates are very reasonable. It's also super close to most of Bogota's gay nightlife. The building itself is hard to find and barely marked outside, so be sure you have the exact address with you when you arrive!

I would not recommend this hotel. The price is cheap and you get what you pay for. They were hardly any other guests there. I left my hair dryer and flat iron in the bathroom cabinet. When I went back to the hotel they were gone. The maid said she didn't see anything. She was the only maid working the whole five days I stayed.

Staff was very friendly, the included breakfast was good. Room was spacious and comfortable. Fruit and bottles of water were included at check in, which was a nice touch. My only criticism would be that a decent amount of sound gets through the doors and windows. There wasn't a lot of activity outside the room so it wasn't much of an issue, but you can definitely clearly hear people talking outside (and I assume they can hear you).

I read some reviews about the neighborhood feeling unsafe at night. I walked around very late at night and always felt safe. It does get a bit deserted after midnight or so (like most places), so like anywhere else in the world I would suggest you stay aware of your surroundings, but I wouldn't be too concerned. Taxi drivers might tell you not to walk around at night, but consider the source of the information...they want people to ride in the taxi.

Spent 1 night here on way out of Colombia. Check in staff was very friendly. Room was at the street and the noise wasn't bad until a car alarm on the block continued to sound off for 2 minutes at a time every 10 minutes. Hours of this nonsense. Asked new person at reception to move us to a room in back and he could not. Rooms were empty but he did not know how to handle the switch. So that's it? Yes. No calls to manager, other hotels within company... we just have to live with it. We figured after a nice 10 days in Colombia we could handle 1 bad night. Car alarm sounded throughout the night. Breakfast was nice in the morning and was delivered to the room. Nice little hotel but untrained staff. There are so many other options in Bogota I don't need to go back to this one.

It took almost one hour to get to the apart-hotel from Dorado airport, traffic is terrible in the city. I strongly recommend you use public transportation, el transmilenio, which have their own lane and buses go faster. When I finally got to the hotel that morning, I was so tired, and they said they would not let me in until check in time (1pm) but after 15 minutes they decided they would free up a room for me. The staff needs to be more proactive, as you may be visiting this city for the first time and you might be needing some guidance and you will be asking a lot of questions on how to get to some place or whatever, it seems like they didn't know the location of many famous places, or restaurants and they couldn't find a way to help you out either. Anyhow, in general the stay was good, close to down town but the location of the hotel by Chapinero was sketchy.

However, this was compensated for by the free breakfast, which was delivered right to my door. Overall, a great experience.

I ended booking 10 more days after my 1st 2nights of my 1st booking of 4 days as I felf very happy with my stay here so now im here for 10 more days, they have fr ee breakfast and even lent me a cell phone to use the only thing I had to to is pay for mins at the supermarket next door,but you can get calls to your room and make local home house calls just cant make cell phone calls, I def plan to to come back here. I ended up coming alone but felt safe just as long as you keep in mind that you are in Colombia,

Great for the value!

Stayed here for a week and the staff is friendly, patient and very helpful. Front desk agent went out of her way to provide information and advice about tourist attractions and how/when/where to go. They were very patient with us having guests and coming in at 2 am! I would definitely stay again. For those who are light sleepers ask for a room not right above the street, as noise from traffic outside could be heard -- however that was not a big deal for us.

El lugar es muy bonito por dentro, el personal de servicio muy amable, la habitación muy confortable, el desayuno muy rico, café en el lobby le da un plus lindo y el servicio a la habitación también, excelente iluminación. Habe vier Nächte dort übernachtet, als ich geschäftlich in Bogotá war. Insgesamt zufrieden, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Zimmer war, abgesehen von der Kitchenette, gut ausgestattet (ohne jegliche Utensilien, aber mit Herd und großem Kühlschrank). Freundlicher Service; eingeschlossenes Frühstück war einfach, aber OK. Was mir nicht so gefallen hat: Zimmer im dritten Stock ohne Aufzug und schlechter Lärmschutz (Geräusche von der Straße und von anderen Zimmern). Habe vor allem die Lage, in fussläufiger Nähe zum Dienstort, sehr geschätzt und würde deshalb auch bei meinen nächsten Besuch dort absteigen.

El hotel es excelente en cuanto a la atención del personal. Espero que sea por temas de Pandemia, pero antes te obsequiaban una botella de agua y el aspecto de las locaciones era más cuidada. Pero muy bien. El desayuno excelente.

Excelente presentación y limpieza del lugar, muy cálidas las habitaciones. Están bien equipadas en todo sentido. Única observación que el control del tv no estaba bien sincronizado o el entregado sólo era del decodificador.
