Booked a suite advertised as sleeping 5 but just had a double bed. Got to pool and there was ‘no service’ there - nothing available. Eventually a broken coffee machine was fixed and we got a coffee. Breakfast in the morning was in darkness as issues with the lights.. airport transfers quoted as more than double the price of taxis and ‘may be shared’. Manager was lovely and engaging but this was a tatty tired place with a very dismissive attitude. We booked for a premium last day to a safari holiday and just got frustration.

Overall great, only Chuma Restaurant unreachable

We had a wonderful stay. The reception staff who helped us were awesome, Lungowe and Clive were so cheerful and very helpful. Overall the staff were great only that the Chuma Restaurant didn’t pick up calls. Chuma Restaurant was hard to get through to, most of the time, I had to take walks every time we needed something from the Restaurant. My husband didn’t feel so well upon arrival so it was convenient for him to have room service the first 3 days of our stay.

Beware of the diesel generator!

At midnight during my first night the hotel's generator came on (due to load shedding), and it was right outside my window. Terrible noise, how does the hotel expect guests to sleep soundly? I asked to be moved to another room which was possible, luckily.

I am surprised that a hotel in this league doesn't have a 'silent' generator, or house it in a sound proof building. Or have a solar system instead which would be environmentally friendly.

•Elevator of the right as you enter the lobby not working foe 3 days
•Bathroom tub rails broken
•Water in tub not emptying when finished bathing
•Strange how my expensive perfume was removed from the room by cleaning staff, though was brought back my cleaning supervisor, said was removed by mistake when she removed the dinner plates but i never ever ordered remove service
•staff are very helpful, they swapped my room when i reported the broken rail and water not draining issue (thanks kelvin, works in lobby)
• i stay here mostly because of the ease in parking and accessing my room

My stay was amazing, the service I received particulary from Winfridah Kalonde and Chondo Funda was outstanding, they are a credit to this hotel. These are true customer focussed people and I just want to highlight how previleged you are to have them as part of your staff team at Radisson Blu Lusaka. They are your true ambassadors. Me and my wife stayed here as we were visiting my friend & his wife for his 40th birthday.

We rented 2 rooms and both rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Washrooms are modern with standing showers and separate tub.
The only item I would ask to be added to the rooms would be a microwave.

Other than that, the staff assisted us when requested, and the door men always greeted us with a smile. I appreciated that.

This is an excellent hotel for those visiting Lusaka and want a “home” as you see family or travel around the different regions.

This property was quite nice. Staff were all VERY nice. I especially would like to recognize Lwamba, head concierge, for addressing our concerns. I paid for extra day to ensure immediate access to rooms upon arrival, but there was still a delay even though I had several email communications with the hotel staff. Room with separate twin beds was not ready. Requested rooms on same floor, side by side, or very close to each other, and that was not done upon my arrival. Eventually got all issues resolved and enjoyed my stay. Laundry service fees are very high - charge by piece, not by weight, but was offered discount as conciliation for other issues. The staff were all so nice that I would stay there again.

Great hotel, facilities are amazing. Breakfast was really good and the staff were nice.

The only real issues I had with the place are that I didn’t get the type of room that I booked, but the room was nice and spacious anyway.

The other thing is the airport shuttle is extortionate. $35 would be a lot if you were transferred by yourself, but I was transferred in a full minibus, so at $35 each that’s $400+ for a 25 min drive

Rooms v large, nicely appointed, super clean tidy, with everything you need. Room service dinner better than usually experienced in other hotels. Staff v nice. Breakfast a little disappointing, coffee machine broke down between 1st 2nd cups, hot food not very appetising. Otherwise all round v good I'd certainly stay again. Thanks !

I had a wonderful stay and the Hotel staff were very accommodating. The only thing I would suggest is that the automatic coffee machine be ready for use at 6:30 when the dining hall opens up. Ate dinner at the bar every night and loved the popcorn seasoning‼️

The staff members were very friendly and extremely helpful in meeting all my needs. My only disappointment was the computer and printer in the public area that was not functional. This is especially important for guests (mostly travelers) who will need to print out boarding passes and COVID-19 test results before flying. Many others may not have been able to print out documents important to their time spent in Lusaka. The staff was very helpful but it meant forwarding from my e-mail to their e-mail to print out documents personal to me.

Had an issue with security entering my room in the middle of the night. I complained to front desk and via email and was offered no compensation. Shuttle from airport to hotel made me wait for over an hour at 3am, this was xompensated but would prefer good service. Breakfast buffet was beautiful, and room itself was large and clean.

I had a very nice stay at the Radisson Blu in Lusaka. I found the hotel very comfortable, although hot water took some time when using the bathroom. It’s a good hotel, with great service but I prefer the Radisson Blu in Johannesburg.

The room was nice and bed comfortable but I wasn’t too pleased with the check in staff. I made several calls to the front desk and no one ever answered across an hours time. I had to leave the room to get their attention and everyone was clearly available. I was happy to book the room due to the tub having the jacuzzi jets, but it didn’t in reality. Just a plain tub. Didn’t get to eat breakfast due to an early flight so I’d only book if you’re stay is a bit longer. Also, it’s about 20-25 minutes from airport.

Having booked 2 rooms on the same booking for ourselves and our children, we were the entire width of the hotel apart and on different floors. By the time we checked in this was irredeemable.
The room stank of cigars. Maybe my fault for not realising the need to book a non-smoking room.
The hotel bar was poorly staffed and service was slow to painful despite being v busy with other ‘workers’! Probably worth knowing before you take your kids in for a late snack

Hotel was great. Food was good. The staff and hotel workers were exemplary. They went above and beyond our expectations. The pool and garden area were beautiful and well kept. There’s a nice spa that is attached to the hotel with great services. The surrounding area outside of the hotel area was just ok. I didn’t feel unsafe, it’s just an “ok” area. Not a whole lot to do, unless you have a driver and go a fair distance. The hotel and hotel grounds are fantastic.

Radisson Blu Hotel is the best hotel in Lusaka. Staff are friendly and harder workers they make sure guests are comfortable. House keeping staff are honest people, I forgot to lock my seif twice my money and expensive jewels was there. The place is very clean and quite, breakfast meals were perfect with different varieties. If you want a quality hotel book Radisson Blu Hotel It’s worth every penny!

Room has cracked floor tiles, filthy chair, dirty windows. No slippers. Empty mini-bar. Torn and dated towels.
Good meal on first night. Second night found a huge piece of something, which was thought to be a piece of glass. Management also thought it was a piece of glass. The next day, I was told it was a big piece of salt. Poor meal quality also. Very noisy corridors at night.Terrible pillows. Staff and service was good though.

second visit to this hotel. First choice when visiting family in Lusaka. This time around felt that the air con was not very effective but as we only needed the room for sleeping was not particularly bothered.

breakfast buffet was good as usual.

noticeable this time was that the staff standing near the doors between the main building and the restaurant/bar did not always acknowledge guests when entering and exiting the building.

Building was well maintained. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Great hotel but service sadly was lacking. Whether it was IT support or getting a meal order right there were always issues and a long wait. It took four attempts to get my room service breakfast order right. Well done was somehow translated medium rare. I got double charged at check out even though I showed clearly that my bank had debited funds at the first attempt.
