Great place to stay in Port Barton, don't overlook this area and this resort.

The only complaint I have is the loud music from the close by basketball court which held a festival for the local people (the resort provided ear plugs).

Other than than that, the staff are great and super helpful.

Highly recommeded if you plan on staying in Port Barton (don't overlook this gem).

This is the 2nd year ive stayed here. Last year was great this year not so much. The breakfast amazing the consumer service exceeded expectations. But where the problems lie are with the wifi and the cleaners. The wifi was spotty and slow and when we told the front desk all they stated was the internet was working just fine. Then the house keepers didnt clean our room after they came at 10am yo clean and we werent ready yet and asked them to come back in a hour. We were gone at 11 and came back at 7pm and the room hadnt been cleaned at all.

This is a great hotel, but needs some updating.. the mattress is hard & lumpy, shower tile grouts are dark & grimy, towel racks are falling off the wall etc. But service is friendly, room rates are fair, pool is inviting, and the aircon is cold!

Herald Suite Solana has alot to offer. For the needs of our constant visit to Makati, its location was convenient. The entire staff is helpful, courteous and just service minded. All requests were attended to in a timely manner. The rooms are clean and tidy, but there's always room for improvement. Create a monthly audit on maintenence issues. Light bulbs needs to be changed to brighter ones. All shower heads needs to be cleaned and disinfected. All bathroom walls need to be inspected for molds. These are minimal concern of mine but that's where I would start to make ones stay more impressive. This hotel is highly recommended.

Bed a little lumpy , breakfast portions a tad small. Great location. Again , Mel is a brilliant member of the team and the breakfast girls do a great job.

Hotel staff including the guards are friendly, helpful, welcoming and accommodating. This is the most important for me. I really enjoyed dining at Cafe Mondo and their ‘daing na bangus” is simply the best. I enjoyed my weeklong stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Makati area.

Nice hotel in a central location. 2 employees were rude to me (Pedro the morning cook and Joy Villarreal). However, Victoria the manager surprised me on my Birthday with a Cake and a Happy Birthday song. All employees are nice BUT few are special:

Amazing hotel, should be 4.5 star to 5 star.

Well maintained, always clean, tidy.

The staff is great, the breakfast included could been a better selection. The deluxe suites are huge and extremely comfortable. Our suite was noisy cause the window was not closed properly and when trying it was broken on the tracks. We did not notice this till late in my vacation. The hotel is with in walking distance to a small mini mall & the railway train station.
PS. When checking in have someone come and inventory the mini bar, we never touched anything but when checking out they tried to charge me for 2 beers missing.

Coming bac to Herald Suites Solana is like coming to our home away from home in the Philippines. Checking was easy and fast as always. The staff met us with welcome drink and we our key straight away. The management and the staff make HSS far above the rest in Manila. The breakfast was plentiful , tasty and did not take long to arrive each morning. We will be back again and very soon.

Looking for a gem in the ruble of things?

Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a treat and wait staff polite and attentive. Reception is very accommodating. The room is big and bathroom is very clean. Airconfitioning unit is actually working! Bed is big and room is actually big! Nothing fancy about the place or location. To me it is a hidden gem for the price they ask for!

The staff put this facility in a superior class all the way at the top! The breakfast is plentiful and rather tasty, I might add. The pool is well kept and located on the top of the facility. A large shopping mall is located about 300 meters from the suites. I would be happy to recommend this location to anyone and will certainly be back when I come to Manila.

Im not too fond of the location. There's not much place to eat around. Street noise can be heard from the room. Furnitures insude the room, especially the chairs needed an update so badly. The upholstery looks dirty and disgusting to sit on. Towels are no longer white in color. They're more like grayish now. I like the breakfast included. The staffs are all friendly and helpful. That's the only reason i gave this facility a 4 stars It looks so old and yucky looking

i liked the breakfast.

Did not like the room, many things not working properly. The shower didnt get hot unless you played with this dial under the sink for 5 minutes. The tv channels never worked.. so basically no tv.
The bed sheets not that new, some with holes.
Pool not working.
Etc.....
But, maybe worth the price.

Dishonest Reservation, Room Smells and Bad Area

After a long 18 hour flight, my wife and I just wanted to sleep in a comfortable bed. Around 1030pm, at check in the hotel clerk informed me that my reservation for a queen size bed was unavailable and we were given 2 twin size beds. If I wanted a better room I would have to pay an extra 500-1000 pesos for an upgrade. I asked that the Hotel needs to honor my reservation, but I did not win my plea. The room had a fowl odor of molded carpet, the bed sheets felt like it had bed bugs. We tough it out and immediately moved to another hotel the next morning.

Staff are AMAZING!!!! room and breakfast are standard.
Be careful the rooms facing the street are like if there is no window..... very bad sound prove.
Wifi is not exactly stable but once the kind staff reset for you, it will work well.

This hotel advertises it has an exercise room but most of the equipment have a sign \"out of order\"... this hotel is full of trained and motivated staff; however, this hotel needs to be updated.. please clean or replace carpets.. please paint on the roof top area.. there is wifi equipment but the signal is breaks frequently (means) disconnects.. the restaurant food is average.. the bed covers need to be replaced.. the house keeping staff must cleaned 20 to 35 rooms so they are super busy and lack attention to tiny details... not their fault but they are jammed with so many rooms to do in a hurry.. should vacuumed more, restock tea, dust the lamps, etc.. the pool area should have \"pool towels\" handy.. when I was here the City decided to \"jack hammer\" the side walks.. very noisey.. requested to move to a higher elevated room.. out dated windows... need more sound proof windows (are they available in the Philippines?).. the price is about right for this hotel.. not necessarily close to the major malls but the Grab and taxis travel down this street..

the staff are friendly, trained and pleasing to work with.. this is an older charming facility, if I was in charge, I would put doing lots of lots of fine tuning like \"clean the main carpets\" or replace.. update the \"gym\" equipment (old and worn out) even have \"out of order\" on the gym equipment.. do painting in the pool area (paint cracking and peeling) on the roof top, I was in my room for 2 weeks never vacuumed.. I ordered 2 pool towels and it took 3 hours for housekeeping to locate me towels (so my guest and I did another activity), could of course have improved internet connections (kept getting kicked out).. need more TV channels.. I was moved to the 7th floor because way too much street noise.. (could use new sound proof windows), the air conditioning units in the rooms rattled some... (probably time to replace them), for 4 days the street was being beat up with a \"jack hammer\" that was crazy no fault to the hotel but the old windows could not stop the loud noise for 7 hours per day for 4 days, I like this hotel, the staff are trained and friendly, the price is about right but I think there's room for improvement.. the cafe (went there daily for breakfast) food was delicious, staff are friendly,, the food selection is the same every day... ate there for lunch one time.. and the food was \"so so\" so started adventuring for other places to eat nearby, if I am back in Makati I might stay here again or find a hotel close to the Greenbelt Mall area.
