The front desk were never available. The rooms were never cleaned nor restocked even after asking multiple times although we stayed for more than a week.

Rooms are dated and dirty. In 4 days not once was beds made, room cleaned or even clean towels. Rubbish not taken from room. How this is 4 star is beyond me. Mold on walls and everything felt damp and a very strange smell. The pool area is completely in the shade, full of bird feathers and poo. Complete health hazard. Staff was friendly and valet parking man was very good at taking bags etc into hotel. I won’t be staying again. The only positive was it was quiet area

Best lake view

The hotel is not newly built, but it still feels and looks new. Suit room was super spacious and best lake view ever. Tge only comment is their room is too dark in the evening, since most are only LED lights. Staff was polite and kind. Will definitely suggest for other to visit them too

I specifically booked this hotel for the pool. I was very disappointed to find that the pool is extremely small and unproper for use. No one watches it and when I went to check it out, there were pigeons playing in it... Needless to say I did not use it...
Also, the first roon that I was assigned smell terribly of cigarette. Staff was quick to move me to another room that didn't smell.

The Swimmingpool was really small and there was some children with a trainer who was really loud teaching them swimming. No beach and shuttle to bublicbeach only 3 times.
The staff were so friendly and the room was very comfortable. I liked it there cos Also the place

A 'tired' hotel.

The management is most likely doing their best to offer a reasonable stay for their clients making the most of what they have. However, it is time to revamp a bit: that is, to replace seriously stained carpets in common areas like in front of the lifts on the 10th floor; making sure each bathtub actually has a plug, and not to place torn sheets on any beds. Perhaps a word of advice to the cleaning crew to turn down the volume of their walkie talkies as not to disturb guests in their rooms.

Good location for RAK half marathon, average hotel

Good location for half marathon. Staff were a bit slow and incompetent at check in, they checked someone before us into an occupied room. We were with a 2 month old baby and arrived late at night 22:30, and still took over half an hour to check in.
Also dont go for the half board option as it is not worth it as you do not get dinner included...

Nice and helpful staff. Got a free upgrade to the executive room which was very comfortable. Maintenance is a bit lacking. Mold in the bath tub corners, balcony door almost not possible to open, ac control unit not working properly, room always too cold by using the ac. And a bit smelly.

Great location, nice staff

Our check in was very quick and we were upgraded to a suite by mr Singh who was very polite. He offered us suggestions on things to do in RAK. The hotel is located right on the corniche with great eateries around. The hotel service was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Great value for money!

Okay for a cheap rate

Room smelled and felt very damp. Noticed some stains on the carpet and bathroom floors. Housekeeping did not clean my room during my 2 night stay, which was odd as I did not have a \"do not disturb\" sign out so I am not sure why it wasn't cleaned, and I also ran out of clean towels and was advised I couldn't get more until the next morning. The room itself was fine, very large and spacious, seemed to be clean enough, just worn out and not well maintained.

Convenient for RAK Half Marathon

I chose this hotel because I wanted something close to the start/finish line of the RAK Half Marathon. It was just over 2 km away. I found the hotel challenging to find as it was not \"registered\" in my GPS unit; however, after finding it the location is right along the race route. I was there one night, ordered pasta dinner room service, and checked out the next day. The staff was very accommodating to provide late checkout.

The service from the front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. However, we had to wait for 2 hours after the check in time before the room became available. The room that I was given to stay in was not very pleasant. Had a muggy smell and the carpets were stained. There were no towels in the bathroom and this should have been provided as we had to wait for 2 hours after allotted check in time. I stayed in this hotel in 2013 and was very impressed. However, I have noticed in the deterioration of the hotel rooms décor. Will not stay here again as I did not receive value for money.

Great overnight stay

We stayed only one night at the hotel. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and maintenance came quickly when we had a small problem with our door. Ordered room service for breakfast , the meal was great. We'd stay there again if we had more time.

More a business hotel than one for holidaymakers. Pool area was permanently shaded, pool was very small and uninviting.
Good beach shuttle service to sister hotel which was dated but acceptable. Pool bar prices were HIGH.
Needs better wi fi throughout.
Good reception staff. Suites were very large and comfortable.

OK but not worth the money

Room's were freezing. Couldn't change AC so turned it off, rooms were still cold and condensation caused walls to become very wet, and because my bag was resting against the wall, it ended up very wet.
The food in the restaurant is awful too and the pool is very small and was full of children.
Regretted not spending the extra money and going to the Hilton.

I've stayed here a lot on business and have had a chance to stay at other budget hotels in the area (for example RAK Hotel). The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is huge, the beds are comfortable. Reception sometimes gets crowded with incoming tour groups but if you're patient it's okay. My pet peeve is that you have to pay for internet and it's about the slowest I've seen at a hotel, slower even at times than dial-up. Not high speed in any way. And it cuts out from time to time. But the location is good--across from the Corniche--and it's good value for the cost.

Value for money

I booked a suite and was allocated one at the front of the building overlooking the Corniche. The check in was fast and efficient and the rooms were a very good size and very clean. Both dinner in the Chinese restaurant and the breakfast were good. My trip included golf at tower Links and for this purpose I would stay here again. Overall it was good value for money.

There were 3 guest. They refused to give extra water. No free WiFi! Housekeeping was sub par. It took forever to complete request ie: extra towels sheets etc. Dank smell. Dirty carpets.

Decent hotel if the price is low

We stayed one night. The location is great--just across from the Corniche which is a nice place to walk and has a number of small restaurants including typical fast food stuff (like KFC, Baskin-Robbins, shawarmas, and Costa's). The lobby is small and the staff were functional but not particularly friendly and not at all knowledgeable about the area. They must get a lot of tourists coming through. The internet was not free but really should be.

The room was a king suite and was icy cold when the AC is on. The bathroom was shower only. Ask for a room on the mangrove side of the hotel. The bed was comfortable although my wife says it was a little soft but not in a saggy way.

The breakfast was good with lots of western offerings. Parking is limited but you can maybe park behind to the left under some awnings. although those are probably for the apartment dwellers next door.

Nice hotel in a convenient location in the hear of Ras Al Khaimah with great view of the Mangroves.
If it's your first visit to RAK would recommend a resort instead as there isn't much to do around town.

Negatives:

- Staff weren't able to recommend much to do in RAK (maybe there just isn't anything to do nearby).

- Ordered food from room service once. It was HORRIBLE. Had a burger that smelled bad and tasted even worst. Took a bite and threw it away.

- Some small mould in the bathrooms.

Great location, very friendly staff

It was a great location with a great view of the mangrove. It is close to corniche which has boat rides and jetski. The staff were very friendly and helped us with directions to all the attractions. The room was clean.

The breakfast was decent nothing to rave about. The pool is small but we were going to go to the bin majid resort so did not care too much. The overall service was fantastic and they addressed every questions we had.

We asked about their furniture and they had someone come to our room from sourcing who explained where they purchased every piece of furniture and then proceeded to give us their number and the contact person who can give us a good discount.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given a free room upgrade on check-in. The pool was a bit small although they give you a free beach pass on one of their beachfront properties if you would like a bigger space. Nice gym. Breakfast is good. We had dinner in the Noodles restaurant. It was very good. There are other restaurants and malls nearby, as well.It was a very nice experience. We'll definitely come back.

Problem with Reception

We had Long Weekend as local Residents of UAE.
Reception was Chaos at check in.
Nothing prepared. No Information about Hotels facilities.
In evening we asked about some nice Restaurant. They did even not Advise about their own Restaurants. For easy overnight no Problem. For Holiday difficult. They have Coupons for their Beach Hotel. But you have to ASK for it.

The good thing about this hotel is the amazing location across the beautiful RAK Corniche and close to most attractions in the city. Despite the fact that the hotel is the newest in RAK city center area, the maintenance of the room was poor. This was noticeable during my last 3 visits during 2013, not to mention that i had to ask for missing amenities every time I checked-in.

Very good hotel and new in the heart of Ras Al Khaima, the room was clean, but i didn't like the quality of food for the in-room dining service (nothing special). Additionally, the bathroom decoration is just like an average bathroom in any residential building). Since i visit RAK very often, i will sure stay again in this hotel.
