The room was nice, not fancy, but clean and pleasant. The hotel servers and cleaning crews were quite friendly and helpful. The dining pavilion, the bar, and the grounds in the center of the property were all quite nice.

Great location, steps from the pool. My son especially enjoyed stepping out the door and jump into the pool.
Cleaning was ok, breakfast not great, the coffee awful but staff seemed friendly and service minded. There was no beach by the hotel but you could get to the sea by steps.
Restaurants and shops very close by.

Lovely, friendly hoel

We booked 1 week with family. They left and we decided to stay another week as really enjoyed the stay. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on and I have slept on many around the world. Better than my own. Management and staff were friendly and nothing was a bother. If I returned to Koh Chang I would stay again. There is a choice if pool or the sea a few steps away.

Very good hotel

The grand view is better than I expected .It is in a good location and the bungalow I was in was clean and well equipped .It only lacked a place to -put your case really .The staff were excellent and the grounds well maintained .I am now in a more expensive hotel on the island but would rather be in the grand view .Only real gripe is the breakfast for westerners was limited ,like most hotels here the Asian breakfast was much better .The wifi in the room was also very good .If I came back to Koh Chang I would stay in the Grand view especially at the price I paid a few months ago .

Fishing at koh Chang

My son (23)and I had a great stay. We did more outside of the resort than at the location. But the resort is well maintained. The staff was outstanding and vary helpful. The breakfast was good. The rooms are clean. Pool was nice. Rough texture on the steps of the pool. Som at the reception was vary helpful. She even knows where to go fishing. There is a BBQ buffet 5 km away that is outstanding if you like this style of restaurant. Chang trekking is a must for the family.

Convenient resort

Conveniently situated near to/in the town with it's bars, shops and restaurants.

No beach at high tide but steps leading directly onto the beach at low tide or water at high tide. Just a short walk to the main beach areas and the beach side restaurants etc.
The resort is oppositeTesco and Macro, neither of which is noted for noise, so the resort is pleasantly quiet, a bonus given the proximity to the town. Decent gardens take up about 30% of the site and there is a pleasant pool. There are a number of loungers (no cushions though) and deck chairs scattered about, maybe not enough if the resort was full.
Breakfast consists of cereals, egg station, toast, salads, 4/5 Thai dishes (very tasty), fresh fruit, sausages and ham. Maybe not entirely suited to European taste, but hey, when in Thailand.......
Room is nicely decorated with a good well tiled shower area, good shower, good toileteries, good air con, ancient Tv but a good range of multi language channels, wifi is mainly good, there were a couple of outages, really really comfy bed, no safe, cleaning done well daily, nice outside space with a proper table and chairs plus drying space.
There are a lot of really tiny ants in the room, they keep themselves to themselves and aren't a nuisance but I wouldn't consume any food or drink in the room.
I was happy with the
accommodation.

Staff are really friendly. Such nice people the Thais. Staff were celebrating a recent staff wedding while I was there and I was invited.

Trotzdem gab es überhaupt kein „Hier sind sie willkommen“-Gefühl. Beim Einchecken wurde nichts erklärt, sondern direkt die 1000 THB für den Schlüsselpfand eingefordert. Im Zimmer dann auch keine Infos, sondern ein dicker Ordner mit Strafen für geklautes Inventar.
Frühstück war mäßig und lieblos. Keine Kaffee-Varianten, wenig Auswahl. Satt wurde Man(n) aber.
Pool war tot und mit Algen bewachsen (im Rahmen, aber zeigte, dass er nicht gut gepflegt wird.
Gym wurde früh abgeschlossen und einige Geräte sind (wohl schon länger) defekt.
Bar war super teuer und hat bei bei meiner einzigen Bestellung direkt mal mehr abgerechnet, als bestellt.
Richtig ruhig ist es nicht, aber es liegt halt an einer Hauptstraße

Zusammenfassung:
Das Hotel schafft es nicht den Gast in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen und lässt seine wenigen Mitarbeiter mit dieser Management-Entscheidung allein.
Wir haben fast 200 Euro pro Nacht bezahlt. Das ist es in keinem Fall wert.

近くにスーパーやコンビニもあり、立地は大変良かったですし、朝食も毎日色々なものが食べられて良かったです。
スタッフのみなさんもにこやかな方が多く、概ね快適な滞在となりました。
唯一の難点はシャワーの温度です。お湯の出が悪いのかかなりぬるめのシャワーを浴びました。

Déception : manque d'entretien général

En tant que travel planer pour une agence de voyage française, je venais en repérage pour tester de nouvelles adresses à proposer à mes voyageurs. Verdict : je déconseille formellement cet hôtel. Il existe de bien meilleures adresses à un prix similaire plus au sud.

L'absence d'entretien et de propreté au niveau des espaces communs du côté des bungalows est inadmissible : déchets entre les bungalows, tas de feuilles non ramassées, couleur de l'eau de la piscine douteuse (verdâtre), allées en mauvais état, deux cafards morts dans le bungalow à notre arrivée, équipements de la chambre abîmés...
L'espace autour de la piscine n'est pas accueillant. De l'autre côté du restaurant, la partie buildings avec pelouse semble mieux entretenue.
Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à conseiller, les plats sont froids, et le personnel inexistant et inefficace comme partout dans l'hôtel.
Parmi les points positifs, il faut noter l'emplacement au cœur d'une station balnéaire et à proximité des commerces, la literie de bonne qualité, la décoration de la chambre.
Autre bémol, la plage n'est pas très praticable à cet endroit en raison des rochers.

Je voyage depuis plus de 20 ans en Thaïlande et en Asie en général. Et il m'est rarement arrivé de voir un hôtel de ce standing si mal géré.

Två trevliga veckor!

Vi spenderade två veckor på Grand View. Vi hade en mycket bra tid där. Vi hade turen att det inte var så mycket folk där så det var lugnt å skönt. Bra rum, trevlig personal, bra pool område. Frukosten var toppen!

Hadde ett flott opphold her. Enkel grei resort. Hyggelig og smilende betjening. Flott basseng, men litt lite solsenger. Flott og grønn hage. Hadde en garden villa nr 103 og var veldig fornøyd med det. Hadde faktisk sjøutsikt. Greit utvalg til frokost men lokalene var meget enkle.

改装中でちょっと残念。

ホテルの従業員はとても親切で、対応は良かった。
ただ、ホテルが改装中で、プールなど入れないことがあった。
ホテルの前は海だが、崖になっていて、ビーチまでは少し歩く必要がある。
ホテルのシャワーと洗面所の間にほぼ段差がなく、洗面所・トイレがシャワー使用後びちょびちょになった。
海はとっても透明度が高くキレイ。
人も少なくゆっくりできるビーチです。

잔반적으로 좋았던 리조트.

풀엑세스룸에 5박 있었어요. 수영장을 좀더 프라이빗하게 사용하고 싶어서 그렇게했는데 굳이 그럴 필요가 없을 뻔 했어요. 비수기라서 메인풀은 아예 운영을 하지 않아 호텔의 다른룸 투숙객들이 저희 룸 앞의 수영장을 이용하더라구요. 그래도 다른 분들은 수영장을 많이 이용 안하긴 했어요. 그점과 조식 빼고는 모두 좋았어요. 조식은.... 제 입에는 별로였어요.. ㅜㅠ 그래서 항상 11시쯤 따로 또 나가서 식사를 했습니다.
정원이 매우 관리가 잘 돼있어요. 정원 청소하시는 분이 정말 부지런하셔서 볼때마다 빗자루로 쓸고 계셨고. 룸 앞에 따로 쓰레기통이 있는데 그곳도 넘치는 일 없이 항상 깨끗이 비워주십니다. 하우스키핑 후에는 방향제를 뿌려주는지 항상 좋은 향기가 났어요. 참. 하우스키핑할때는 미리 리셉션에 오후 3시전에 말씀하셔야 하는데 룸에 전화기가 없어서 직접가서 말씀하셔야 하는 수고로움이 있습니다. 룸뷰는 거의 모든 룸이 sea view였던것 같고.. 너무 좋았어요
바다로 내려가는 계단이 무서워서 처음에는 잘 못나갔다가 나중에는 방법을 터득하고서 만 5세6세 애들 둘 저 혼자 데리고 다녔어요. 파도도 너무 신나게치고 바다갔다 바로 들어와서 물로 행굴수 있으니 그점도 최고. 계단밑에 돌이 많아 겁이 나는데 정 가운데로 가면 모래이니 글루 내려가시면 됩니다. 메인거리와는 거리가 좀 있지만 크게 불편하진 않아요. 그랜드뷰 근처 마사지 샵들이 메인거리보다 50밧 더 저렴해서 좋아요. 애들때문에 받아보진 못했습니다 ㅜㅋ
가족여행보다는 커플여행에 제격일것 같은 편안한 휴식을 위한 최고의 리조트였어요. 만약 다시 간다면 저는 조식은 신청안할거에요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
다음에 애들 놓고 남편과 둘이 가면 여기 너무 좋을것 같습니다 굿굿.

tolle Lage aber strand etwas entfernt. direkt am Resort sind steine am Ufer. aber sehr schöner Pool und Fitnessraum auch. saubere Bungalos , dicht im Zentrum mit vielen Restaurants und Bars.aber vieles ist sehr teuer geworden auch durch den starken thailändischen Bath. Garküchen muss man Glück haben um eine sehr gute und auch hygienisch positiv wirkende zu finden. Frühstück im Resort etwas eintöing mit Omlette und spiegelei. Saft aus Automat war oft zu stark konzentriert und für unseren Geschmack zu süß. wunderschön gelegen am Meer im Garten mit alten Bäumen.

Очень уютный, ухоженный, зеленый, милый отель. Отличный персонал. Вкусные завтраки. Территория красивая, посторонних снующих на море не замечено. Из нашего домика был вид на бассейн и море. Вход в море по лестнице, могут попадаться камни при заходе. Зато плаваешь зачастую один, все море в твоем распоряжении. До песчаного пляжа минут 7 по улице. Там конечно людей побольше. Прямо напротив через дорогу магазин Macro. Правее 7/11. До ночного рынка еды минут 10. Отель понравился. Определенно советуем!

Bel établissement dans un jardin très bien entretenu. Literie confortable. Chambre spacieuse. Il manquait toutefois des lampes de chevet et un espace de rangement. Jolie vue sur la mer. Pas de plage de sable devant l'hôtel mais à quelques minutes à pieds (par la route toutefois). Un accès à la mer cependant devant l'hôtel par un escalier. Très belle piscine. Quelques chaises longues face à la mer. Un joli resto extérieur (pas essayé, nous avons préféré manger les pieds dans l'eau). Beaucoup de commerces, salons de massage et restaurants tout autour. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir même si je n'ai pas apprécié qu'on me fasse payer un verre cassé.

Bra hotell med bra läge på White Sand Beach. Helt okej frukost där det finns det som brukar finnas. Frukt, korv, ägg, omelett, yoghurt, bröd, juice osv. Ingen strand vid högvatten, men trappor ner och lättbadat i alla fall. En liten pool med solsängar och parasoll. Nära till restauranger och barer. Det som man kan anmärka på är wi-fi. Noll kontakt på rummet. Inte ens på balkongen gick det att få någon kontakt med omvärlden. I lobbyn och vid poolen funkade det emellertid okej.

ทำเลดีมาก อยู่ใจกลางหาดทรายขาวเลย อยู่ตรงข้ามแม๊คโครฟู้ด และหน้าโรงแรมมีร้่นกาแฟมารืนเจ้าดังในเกาะช้าง(มี5สาขา) อาหารเช้าถือว่าใช้ได้มีไม่เยอะมาก รสชาติพอได้ในระดับ3-4ดาว ชายหาดแย่มาก คือไม่มีชายหาดเลย ไม่สามารถเดินลงไปเล่นน้ำได้เลย ทางโรงแรมก่อสร้างถึงหน้าหาดและยกระดับสูงกว่าระดับชายหาดและได้ทำบันไดเดินลงชายหาด แต่ระดับน้ำทะเลสูงตลอด ไม่มีช่วงเวลาน้ำลดเลย ภายใต้น้ำทะเลนั่นมีหินด้วย น้องเราอยากเล่นน้ำทะเล ก้อเดินลงไป เจอหินบาดเท้าเลย อันตรายมาก น้ำทะเลสีขุ่นๆเหมือนพัทยา น้ำไม่ ใส ผิดหวังมากค่ะ เราพักห้องพูลวิวล่า สระว่ายน้ำหน้าห้องเล็กและสกปรก เล่นน้ำไม่ค่อยได้เลย กลับมาเป็นผื่นทั้งตัวเลย อุปกรณ์เครื่องใช้และห้องพักก็ธรรมดาค่ะ สะอาดพอใช้ได้ เตียงธรรมดาไม่ได้นุ่มหรือใหญ่มาก อต่ก้อหลับได้ค่ะ ผ้าเช็ดตัวสะอาดและใหม่ โดยรวมพอใช้ได้ แต่ชายหาดแย่มากค่ะ

Очень хороший отель -все очень чисто ,никаких насекомых .Номер был рядом с маленьким бассейном -его чистили каждое утро .Вход в море немного неудобный -через камни ,но песчаное дно и мало народу -это большой плюс.Завтраки приличные ,голодными не останетесь !!!Рядом Вайт сендс и вечерний рынок-брали там еду и ели на берегу в отеле.Также рядом магазин Макро -там закупались алкоголем -дешевле ,чем в 7/11.

Good but far from being perfect.

The hotel is OK with some exceptions: water pressure in shower is rather week, breakfast could be much better. The biggest problem of this 'beachfront' resort is the lack of sandy beach, since the access to the sea is uncomfortable due to stones/rocks. The nearest sandy shore is about 5 min. walk. The room and bathroom are spacious, amenities are OK, wifi is working.

象岛美景度假村，很适合度假。度假村里设施比较齐全，游泳池，健身房，躺椅，秋千，懒人沙发，这些都具备。早餐的选择虽然不是很丰富，但是好在每天的早餐会有所不同。早餐时提供的现煮的粉很不错。酒店位置在白沙滩的尽头，出门就有7-11，离中餐厅里采购食材的大超市很近。对了，离那家某某同款烤鸡餐厅也很近。

Flott resort liggende på sørenden av White sand beach. Stille og rolig, men kort vei til stranden og bakgater med butikker og restauranter. Serviceinnstilte personale. Rene og fine rom, god størrelse. Meget gode senger. Flott uteområde. God frokost. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake. Kan absolutt anbefale denne resorten.

Rapporto qualità e prezzo la sua forza,vicino alla zona centrale,pulizia più che sufficiente,piscina non grande ma sufficiente alla struttura, accesso diretto in mare,colazione più che sufficiente, andrebbero curate un po di più le aree comuni e potenziare il wifi che qualche volta è inesistente,soggiorno complessivamente buono.

Отель расположен очень удачно, в конце главного пляжа, территория ухоженная и красивая, завтраки хорошие! Бассейн хлоркой не пах! Есть несколько не кретичных минусов для меня! До песчаного пляжа надо пройти 100 метров через улицу, и в бунгало котором мы жили не было тумбочки и шкафа! Вещи пришлось вешать на всевозможные крючки! Но я бы посоветовал отель друзьям в любом случае!

Tolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Personal! Verbessern könnte man die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern die Betten wurden nicht Täglich neu bezogen , ansonsten ist es für den Preis sehr gut! Würde wiederkommen

FAmily friendly hotel close to White sand beach

Amazing setting, fantastic view, Nice pool areas, friendly staff, fine breakfast, close to White sams Beach, close to restaurants and fine rooms.
You have to ask actively to have your room cleaned.
You have to check yourself What’s in The minibar when you check in. The staff acused ud having eaten a Chocolat bar. But there Was no chocolat bar when we arrives - and we certainly did not eat it.

Nja. Hotellet är helt ok men mitt rum (102) seaview Duplex luktade tyvärr mögel. Inte konstigt när avloppet i duschen är helt feldoserat

KOH CHANG Grand View resort

Hotelli ja huone oli kivalla paikalla ja alue oli muutenkin hyvä vaikkei ollut omaa rantaa. Rannalle pääsi kuitenkin hyvin. Ei ollut melua sijainnin vuoksi. Siivouksen kanssa oli hieman kommunikointivaikeuksia, mutta sekin hoitui loppuviimein. Aamupala oli tyydyttävä, mutta kahvi oli juomakelvotonta (haimme aamukahvin kahvilasta). Ravintola/ruokailu tarjoama oli huono. Mutta ihana paikka ja viihtyisällä paikalla.

Kokemuksia hotelista

Lakanan vaihto tapahtui vain erllisestä pyynnöstä viiden päivän jälkeen. Muuten pidime hotellista. Joskin hiljainen, ei tapahtumia. Niitä haettiin hotellin ympäristöstä ja saaren retkiltä. Pihojen hoitotöitä tehtiin ahkerasti. Jopa kuntosalirakennusta oltiin rakentamassa, pieni haitta siitä aiheutui allasalueen äärelle.

Nice Hotel near the main beach

Had a nice view of the sea (and garden) from my room. The weather was a bit cold during my stay so I didn’t spend much time in the garden or at my balcony. It’s a short (few minutes) walk to the main beach. If you want cleaning you have to let the staff know. The staff provided great service when I was waiting for my booked taxi (on two occasions).

Koh Chang undbedingt abstecher nach Cambodia überl

Das Hotel ist ganz am Ende vom White Beach, womit kein direkter Zugang zum White Beach verbunden ist der ist ca. 50m weg, das kann man bei Ebbe gehen muss man aber bei Flut schwimmen. Das Hotel besteht im wesentlichen aus einer Vielzahl von Bungalow, wo jeder über eine Terrasse verfügt und ein rechter Winkel aus Glas Insert ist, also sehr offen und guter Ausblick, aber es gewährt natürlich auch Einblick wenn man den Vorhang nicht schlisst. Frühstück beginnt erst um 7.30h das kann bei frühen Tagestouren zu spät sein. Allgemein würde ich Koh Chang auch unbedingt als Ausgangsort nach Ankor Wat in Cambodia nutzen, weil man von dort um € 10,-- nach Ankor Wat kommt plus € 35-40 Visum aber so billig wird man sonst nie wieder nach Ankor Wat zum Tomb Raider Schauplatz kommen. Ansonst ist Koh Chang eben eine tropische Insel mit weisen Strand und einer Vielzahl herumlaufender Affen für Paare sicher ideal, wenn inzwischen schon ziemlich teuer Hotels fangen zu Weihnachten zwischen 100-300 an in der 4/5 Sternkategorie lg

Bra hotell med hjälpsam personal. Frukosten bra

Stort sett nöjda men lite besvärligt att bada precis nedanför hotellet.
En stentrappa ner var hal att gå på. Fanns fin sandstrand lite längre bort som var kanon.
