This is an out of town hotel, ok for 1 night. Popular with coach parties. No food available until 8.30pm which was late bearing in mind we had been driving for 10 hours. Breakfast was a buffet and ok but the ‘hot’ food was cold.
Staff were helpful and suggested ordering room service which stated at 8pm. When we did get an evening meal it was lovely.
We would probably look to stay closer to the town but we got what we paid for

The staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean with comfortable beds, breakfast was with a good variety and tasty and the hotel has a big parking place.
A short 5-minute drive and you are in the center of Mérida, the hotel is just outside the city so the surroundings are quiet.
Unfortunately, there was a negative part of our stay, the hotel is not soundproof to the interior corridors and adjacent rooms so we could hear everything very loud and clear, other guests closing their room doors guests talking in the hallways early in the morning, toilets being flushed, coughing, etc. which did not provide a good night's rest.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and actually made me feel welcome in general in terms of being a tourist in his city! The room was big, clean and comfy. I didn’t use the restaurant but it looked lively and popular. Would definitely stay again!

It’s fine for its class. In the road out of Merida. I chose it principally because it accepts dogs (travelling to ferry at Bilbao). Rooms are tired and poorly specc’d. Even a 2m cable could not allow me to charge something by the bed, a 3m cable would be required. Furnishings are mid 80s. Beds are likely subject to failure if a heavy person lay on them. Beer was cold and entrecôte was “un poco hecho” as required. Ample parking was available.

Be aware the walls are paper thin. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night because the neighbor was talking loudly.
The room they moved us to didn’t have the king bed we upgraded to and the sink drain was clogged and smelled like raw sewage.

It is located a few km from the center of Merida but with parking. The hotel could be 2.5 stars. The apartment was very dirty, with unswept floors and dirty white towels. It doesn't deserve 4 stars!

This is a decent hotel, for us to make an overnight stop on way to Portugal. Outlr room was spacious and clean, free outdoor parking was part of the reason why we chose this hotel (would have preferred indoor parking though). We had a dinner in the hotel's restaurant, which gave good value for money. Breakfast buffet was okay, too.

The entire hotel is spotless clean, not fancy but extremely practical finishes, furniture and decorations. The food served as European buffet is very diverse and tasty. We were very pleased with staff professionalism and kindness. We'll surely mark this hotel as ine of the preferred spots to stay at during our travels through Spain.

Room and facilities were appealing. But a few minor details were lacking - toiletries, tissues, ironing board, literature about property amenities (restaurant/bar). Parking was relatively easy, but the lot itself is tight and space sizes are non-standard. On the other hand, reception was friendly and helpful. And the room was comfortable.

Over Night In Merida

It was an overnight stay and we found the staff, food and facilities excellent. One small issue was that at a very early hour there was noise in the corridor our room as on.
I suspect it was due to a tour bus leaving everyone was leaving their rooms and were chatting as they left moving through the corridor.
This is our second time to stay at this hotel and we did not experience this the first so will stay there again.

Very disappointing. We checked in on a Saturday after a long drive and there was such a nasty smell we were unable to nap. Something in the piping or air vents. That same night, a wedding party on the premises pumped out loud music until around 6am. So no sleep again. On the Sunday morning, the pool that was meant to open at 10am (and is advertised as such), was still locked up by checkout time at noon. So no pre-departure swim. And I'd like to note, this room was super expensive. Not recommended

Spent only one night but service was more than helpful! The breakfast and pool were great. Neighbors were very loud. Wish the rooms had more sound proofing as I heard the tv next door until 2:30 and the snoring after that. But the hotel was terrific otherwise. A bit far from the main part of town and requires a car or taxi.

We were traveling to Madrid from Portugal and this town was a good stop for us to help with the long drive. The hotel is located on the edge of the city. It was clean the front desk staff were friendly. We had a couple items had to be refrigerated but The small fridge in the room was not working property. Overall everything was good

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night - on our way to Portugal (Oct 2019)
We paid £62.50 for B & B.
The room was big and the bathroom was very big. Ample parking.
The staff were very friendly
The buffet style breakfast was very good - didn't make evening meal
At check out we had a little problem with the bar bill (previous night) but this was sorted without too much fuss
The only negative I can mention is that the dividing walls between the rooms must be very thin as we could hear our Spanish neighbours quite clearly.

Nice hotel let down by silly issues

Stayed in May 2018. Room was too hot (28C) but A/C was not working. Reception advised that A/C was only available in summer!
Pool was closed. Reception advised that the pool was only open in summer!
Breakfast was good and fresh. Only issue was that the outside seating area was were the smokers went, not want I want when eating.
If I had stayed the next night I would have got a new mattress, it was changeover dat when I left.

Took us a while to find it, our GPS kept sending us round a housing development, but eventually we found it just on the outskirts of town. The hotel was clean and comfortable, wifi worked and they had a bar restaurant which unfortunately didn't open until 9pm, so we went off into town. The town of Merida is fascinating and although we were too late to see the main centre of Roman remains there was plenty to see within the town and also the Roman bridge. Definitely a place to stay more than one night.

Merida worth seeing

The hotel is outside the town and their car park is free, so we drove into town and found parking easy and cheap. It is probably a 20-30min walk. The hotel is obviously a popular wedding venue as everthing outside was being made ready. Our room was very nice with a big window opening onto a view over the pool to the garden. The rustle of palm trees and birdsong in the mornings was lovely. The bed was comfy and the bathroom good. The Roman sites in Merida are well worth seeing.

First, four stars are not to be found anywhere there: nothing works, furniture is ancient, and not in a good way, the aircon did not function, etc. We arrived late at night, and first we were put into room 117 (which smelt like an ashtray), so we were then moved to 217, in which the aircon did not function. We were quite frustrated at this point, but the front desk person (Alfonso) was very patient and apologetic, and he is the only reason I did not lose my temper. Finally, we were offered their 'best room' which was clean but absolutely ancient, which bits of fake leatherette material coming off their coach, etc. And guess what? Even in this suite, there was no aircon working! I am not going back even if they pay me.

Overnight in Merida

Another overnight stop on the way from the UK to Portugal. The hotel location is out of town but was easy to find after checking it out on Google Maps. This was our first day of high temperatures so the room air conditioning not working was a disadvantage but the overnight sleep was assisted by open windows and, you have guest it, a couple of mosquito bites by morning! Breakfast was adequate and we were able to get on our way quite promptly aided by good reception service at check out.

Ours was a 2 night stop on transit to Cadiz. Once we found the Hotel (They have only just added the Blue City bit to the name, so we went passed it several time as the sign said Las Lomas !) A short drive out of town, but a good base to see the fantastic Roman artifacts

Good hotel would;d recommend it to anyone. Only bad experience though nothing to do with the hotel was a stop by the Traffico who said our bikes were obscuring the car's number plate, 100euro fine!! Can't see how a bikes's spokes obscure a number plate as it was easily readable through the spokes but I suppose they were short of cash at the end of the month.

Hotel is situated in a nice suburb of Madrid. Short walk (3-4 mins) to Metro and shopping centre. Staff very helpful and great buffet breakfast. Free parking was also a drawcard. Good value hotel. Would definitely recommend.

L'hotel est confortable et propre mais le personnel vous acceuille certainement en pensant que c'est eux qui sont les clients et pas l'inverse , pas un sourire , on traine les pieds pour vous répondre si ils parlent anglais ou non alors le français je n'en parle pas.On n'ose plus rien leur demander après cela, pas cool !!!!!!
