This hotel amenities were excellent, their breakfast floor was amazing, and excellent service all around. We also appreciated the lobby with daily water and snacks. They showcased a beautiful rose stone display in the lobby, adding to the nice ambiance. Rooms were spacious and clean. The only complaint was that the desk chair was a bit uncomfortable for me, but my husband liked it. Great hotel, walking distance to the department store; a bit further to the stone and night markets, but reasonable. Staff was great--stored our luggage and called taxis for us.

They had a desk blocking access to my balcony. Don’t know how they get away with saying all the rooms have a balcony, it’s not a balcony for you if u can’t step foot on it. Also Wi-Fi was buffering every 3-4 minutes so I ended up needing to use my cell as a hotspot my entire stay. Won’t stay there again

Check in service a bit disappointed. I booked 2 twin rooms, hotel assigned one room to tower 1 and the second room to tower 2. After negotiation with the staff, they agreed to move us to the same tower but different floor.

Hotel is new and clean. Staff friendly and professional. However, I find breakfast service unsatisfactory. On Sunday morning, breakfast did not contain any meet products, that are standard in most of hotels. I couldn't find anything I could accept. Coffee was also very poor, way below any common standards.

The only thing is the staffs don't wear masks nor test temperatures.
Although there hadn't been any local confirmed Covid-19 cases, it makes customers feel safer if they follow thw safety guidelines from CDC.

Wonderful place to stay in Hualien!

The hotel is modern and the room was large and clean. The elegant breakfast room offered many tasty choices. You will have to walk a bit if you want to use public transit and although they do have many washers and dryers you can use free of charge; they are in an area of the parking garage.

The hotel is quite new and it is very clean. The rooms are big and suits our family. The hotel staffs are very friendly and we do not have issues with communications. The best thing is that they assisted us in translating a restaurant menu which do not have English words...I strongly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Hualien.

Nice place but with issues

Hotel staff were very helpful before I arrived in arranging an English speaking Driver/Guide for Taroko Gorge. I booked a Superior Twin Room with Wotif. Room was good size and clean. Hotel has a basic gym. Promised pickup from Train Station did not happen, even though I had provided train number and arrival time (note other hotels had people at train station to collect clients), manager was apologetic. BUT when I arranged ride to train station on the day I left, with a days notice, there was also an unnecessary muck around with that. Hotel did arrange a Taxi which they paid for.

A nice stay in Hualien Lealea hotel

We enjoy so much, just we can't have the pick up from the Hualien train station to hotel causing some trouble in looking for taxi as we need big taxi for our luggages n eight of us, so some taxi drivers ask for extra charges. We already reflected our discomfort to the hotel personnel, they do apologize n sorry for unable to arrange the free pick up transport on our arrival day. Well we accept n still enjoy our stay with good service n delicious breakfast.

Some nice amenities, but a few downsides

Hotel exterior is nice, but accessing parking lot was very difficult to find at first. We came by the front but there was no apparent information as to how to get to their underground parking (it's in the back, take any of the tiny alleyways which may possibly lead to the back of the hotel and you will probably find it). Rooms were modern looking with laminate floors, lighting, and flat panel TV but our first room reeked of cigarette smoke. Staff was fantastic about switching our room quickly. This is a fully smoke free location, so maybe someone ignored the warning of fines before us. The general feel was that this was some older hotel which underwent a renovation or a refresh, so some elements seem old, while others seem brand new. Location is generally okay, but there was only one decent restaurant nearby and 7-11 was a bit of a walk. Seems that you need a car or taxi to get anywhere cool otherwise. Included breakfast was good. Wide variety of foods and many were tasty. Some suffered from standard lack of flavor or texture as they sat out in the buffet for a time. Their cheese pasta was very good.

Very helpful staff accomodated our early check-in & helped with travel advice to Taroko Gorge. Room was spacious, bright & comfortable & hotel facilities were excellent, especially for the price. Minor negativess were a noisy duvet - each time one of us moved we woke the other :-( & filling the bath with hot water took forever. Also, the breakfast environment was large but the low ceiling made it feel a little claustrophobic & the buffet, while spread over a large area didn't seem to have a huge choice.

Better than we expected

Firstly, we stayed in a double twin room that was not as described on hotels.com. It stated there was a bathtub and a patio, of which we had neither. We mentioned to the front desk that the description was incorrect, and I think they would have moved us into the described room. We were just informing them, though. This hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great with a good supply of food and plenty of seating. We only stayed here one night but would certainly stay here again if we return to Hualien.

The room was great - very modern and clean. Only downsides I can think of were that the room could have been a little bigger, and the safe was tiny (too small for a laptop).

The gym is clean and modern and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

The main downer was the breakfast. There was very little that appealed to me (I am a westerner) but a lot of noodles, chow mein, those salty boiled eggs and other Chinese/Taiwanese stuffs.

Otherwise a great hotel.

A nice place at a local neigbourhood

Very nice, helpful and knowledgeable front desk. Modern and contemporary layout overall. Decent wi-fi (around 2 mega bit download and upload) speed at a small city. Included breakfast was Ok with both Chinese and western choices, and it has a great fresh ground coffee maker. The only negative is the location where you have take transportation to anywhere you go unless your destination is some where local.

Upscale Hotel in Central Hualien

We stayed at the LeaLea for two nights in a quadruple room with mountainside view and boy were we pleased. The room was very spacious, had a living room area with a desk, and a TUB!! The only tub we had in the two weeks that we were in Taiwan. What we liked was the convenience of free washer and dryers and a parking area for the rental car in the basement - made things super convenient. The only drawback of this hotel was that the front desk staff's English capabilities were minimal and we ended up having to mime different things when asking questions. If you have no inquiries, check in is a breeze and they really don't need to know English. The mountainside view was a plus and although the hotel is located in the middle of Hualien, we were really grateful that we had a rental car (Avis near the train station - ask for a GPS in English - saved our lives!) so that we could find things to eat at night. There are places nearby that you can walk to, but it is a bit of a walk. A breakfast buffet was provided each morning and had breads, Asian dishes, and what seemed like an attempt at some western choices. Eggs were really runny, hashbrowns were decent, and something that looked like boiled bacon. All in all, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

We just needed a place to crash for the night and found this hotel gives a pretty good bang for the buck! It's simple, clean and nice. Just a minor setback is the fact that the room smells of cigarette even though it's a non smoking floor... But we stayed there just for one night, so don't really know if it's the same across the board... Maybe just our luck that the previous guest smoked in the room or something. The breakfast was great though! Nice local food!

Our stay at block 3 of the hotel was excellent. Hotel is new and in good condition. It is located near a shopping mall and many eateries. The breakfast provided was good. We were thankful for the washer & dryer provided for the hotel guests as we could washed our wet clothing during our 3-day stay (we were caught in the typhoon). The family room we stayed in is spacious and has a great view, the beds are very comfortable and the room is clean. The only inconvenient was walking from the lobby to our rooms during raining day as we had to take a lift down to the carpark, walked across the carpark to take another lift up to our room. We will definitely stay in this hotel if we visit Hualien again.

房間普通大小，不過廁所滿小的。而且廁所門剛好在床的正中間旁邊，廁所開門之後就不能用洗手台了，走廊講話聲房間內聽的很清楚。是站在浴缸內洗澡，不過蓮蓬頭出水很不平均，有時候溫度也不好調整。
房間偏暗不過算是滿舒適的。

1）房間隔音效果稍有不足，夜裡鄰房咳嗽聲清晰可聞。

房間動線有問題造成冷氣循環不良，處理事情的態度不積極，

房間走道中間有一個柱子，把冷氣也擋住了，整晚都很悶熱，廁所前面最涼爽，後來真受不了，詢問櫃台是否有解決辦法，說去問問，也沒主動回答⋯後來再詢問櫃台，才說沒房間可更換，只能送來一台電風扇，才稍稍緩解一點，但忙碌了一個晚上

這裡停汽機車都很方便，第二次入住了，感覺一樣很好，櫃檯和協助行李的人員態度都很好很客氣，看到人都會親切問你需要什麼服務。但早餐吃一次可以，連續吃三天倒是蠻膩的，下次應該還是會選擇吃花蓮當地早餐。房間都整理的很乾淨，覺得隔音也是不錯，這次在9樓可以看到外面風景也不錯呢！下次還是會想再入住喲

高CP值的酒店

服務人員很親切，實際房間跟照片差不多（沒有誇大不實），房間包括浴室都整理得很乾淨，沖澡的水壓也很足。唯一的小抱怨是入住的第二晚我們玩了一天回來，房間卻到傍晚5點都還沒人來整理過，打了電話到前台詢問之後，清潔人員就馬上來整理了。另外，在check-out的高峰時間（11點）只有一位員工幫房客check-out，前台小塞了一下。不過就算很忙，員工還是一樣親切，效率也高。飯店住客壓證件就能免費借用飯店的自行車，一樓還有星巴克入駐，而且走路幾分鍾就能到「來打餃」（網友評為花蓮最美的冰花煎餃店）跟「芋圓屋」（網友評為花蓮必吃冰店）。總而言之，我覺得整體的體驗很好、CP值高，已經推薦給親友了。
