We had a very nice room on the 8th floor. The breakfast was reasonably priced and of very high quality. The staff helped us a lot arranging the day trip to Taroko National Park, and another 1/2 day trip. This was the perfect 3-day stay in Hualien.

This is a great hotel. My room is big and clean. There is some street noise but it gets quieter at night. Parking lot can be hard to maneuver in and out, but with some patience it can be done. I think I will remember this hotel for a long time.

Very clean and close to many restaurants within the walking distance. A family mart and seven eleven is across the street. The train station is only 15 minutes drive and cost NT$150 (about $5.00). Plus use of washing machine was free only pay for the dryer service. I believe 10 mini for NT$10..

Our room was brilliant… we stayed in a suite and it was spacious and comfortable. Loved the walk in wardrobe and the bathroom was stunning.

The library was beautiful and the we appreciated the laundry facilities.

To get full marks, the fitness centre would need an upgrade as it only consists of 2 exercise bikes… perhaps a treadmill and some other alternatives

Hotel is conveniently located with easy accessibility. Our room was quite spacious. Rooms and entire hotel was clean. Play room was quite small though and only suitable for toddlers. Breakfast is same everyday though it is fine. Overall it was a good stay at Just Sleep hotel.

Definitely need the power socket near night stand, but no.
Refrig is stinky.
Bathroom is not clean, shower head is leaking.
Breakfast is OK.
Price is acceptable.

Overall, hotel is OK, but I prefer to book different hotel next time.

地點不錯，離火車站跟鬧區很近，飯店停車場不大，會指引到附近停車場，這樣上下行李不是很方便，這次不知道是不是Expedia訂房的關係還是晚到的關係，房間安排在整樓最小的，床頭旁邊就有一個衣櫥，不是很理想

Overall great facility and staff. Very comfortable. We did not each breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment but the location, staff, cleanliness and comfort were great. Parking is limited but we were able to use the small parking lot at back of hotel.

Location - It was alright, about 1km walk to the night market (which was nothing fantastic), close distance to alot of good food (shops specialising in Bian Rou just right outside) and some other shops as well.

Room - First glance it was okay but the room's curtains does not black out completely. Can't expect anything much from a 3* hotel. I thought it was a okay place to just sleep. Toilet amenities were very basic & hair dryer was pathetically slow/weak.

Breakfast - Quite a number of choices for a small hotel - however I did not actually like the breakfast, just ate porridge which was a safe choice. Well they serve bread too...

Staffs - Breakfast place staffs looks so fierce and hostile. Front desk at point of check in was okay. But if you need any other info from them it's rather impossible? Asked them if there is any breakfast place around that is open, made them call the place and they said it's open. We walked all the way and the shop was closed. Helpful? I am not sure. Same girl booked a cab for us and said it will arrive within 5 minutes, and no sight of the cab. We called for the street cab as we could not wait anymore.

Prior to our arrival, I asked the staff for a quotation to Taroko but they replied the email in Mandarin with some \"front desk please reply\" but never actually replied to the email. Seriously their staffs just could not be bothered.

In conclusion, this is just a place to sleep. Really a place to sleep and shower and that is it.

Stayed twice at this hotel in the last two months. Upgraded to a spacious room. Excellent staff - from the employee who picked us up at the airport to the reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Special thanks to Julie Lin, Supervisor, who helping us receive a parcel. We felt genuinely welcome with their friendliness and warm smiles. Breakfast was good. Location very convenient for our purpose. Will definitely stay here again.

Really give this hotel a thumbs up. They provide free pick up service from the train station, which is just 15mins on a car ride away. the hotel is centrally located with 7-11 and family mart just right across the street. it is just beside the famous wanton shop! the rooms are very spacious and clean. tastefully designed and modern. really love this hotel and will definitely recommend to stay.

One staff ruined the whole team's hard work

Most of the staffs are very friendly and helpful, except that when I requested for an one hour late check-out, my point is not whether the request was granted or not. I know that such request would bear some percentage of being rejected, however it was the way that I was treated that really upset me. The staff who's name is Lisa (not sure actually). She didn't even ask for my room number or check the records in computer, she just right out said \"NO can't do, if you check-out after 12:00 you have to pay additional.\" There was no way that I could talk to her, so my friend and I just left without any further discussions with her. Although I felt good with all the other staffs, such experience certainly left an unpleasant memory with the hotel.

We booked the Quadruple room and the photos in the website showed that there is bathtub in the bathroom, when we checked in our room, there was no bathtub so we called the reception to check but they told us that bathtub was only available in the family room. Really don't know if that is true or not, but hope more accurate photos should be provided on the website.

Stay in Hualien in a clean hotel

We went to Taroko Gorge in the morning and arrived to the hotel in the afternoon and our room was ready. It was very clean and appropriately laid out. Breakfast in the morning was good. They have shuttles to the night market in the evening as well as shuttles to the train station (but was full when we tried to go, thus had to call a taxi).

Great hotel with nice amenities at an affordable price! Very nice decoration and furnishings. New hotel, very comfortable, and staff very helpful. We found the free washer/dryer extremely handy to clean up our Taroko Gorge hiking clothes. The front desk provided excellent info to do self-guided tours through Taroko, including bus timetables and shuttle service arrangement. They also pointed us to the local stone market and night market. Would stay here again.

Nice rooms, convenient location

Just Sleep is a new hotel and therefore has modern, spacious rooms. The location is close enough to the Hualien train station and very close to city centre. The hotel provides complimentary pick-up and drop-off to the train station. The bathrooms have great amenities including a nice big bathtub. They also provide a nice shower kit and one TWG teabag daily, which is a nice touch. Breakfast spread is good with enough Asian and continental options.

Best choice for Taroko but some negatives

Positives:

-Beautiful location with nice views
-Hotel and rooms nicely decorated
-Rooftop pool with cinema
-Excellent wi-fi

Negatives:
-Seemed most people staying there were on big package tours so unless you fitted into this 'package' mould there were some difficulties. E.g the hotel wanted us to take their big 20+ people tours and didn't offer a reasonable alternative (couldn't even give us a phone number of a taxi driver who spoke English and only provided a Chinese speaking one that was an unreasonably high price. Suggest you pre-book this your own way.
Second example, is the limited offerings for lunch -- only 1 restaurant was open (I guess everyone is meant to be on a tour) and the room service menu was limited.
-The Chinese restaurant's food was AWFUL and expensive.

Spent 2 nights at the hotel. Was given a free upgrade to a bigger room with 2 double beds. Room is new and very clean. Convenient location with 3 mins walk to city center! Super friendly staff that helped us taking care of everything including hiring a car to Taroko! Has hotel shuttle to Ziqiang night market and train station. Would definitely recommend this

Very kind front desk staff. Room and hotel feel new. Slept great and felt refreshed after each shower. Even took a nap the bed was so nice! It's about a 15 minute walk to my favorite locally famous dumpling place, and could wash them down with a fruit smoothy from across the way. Would easily stay there again.

Really modern hotel in the middle of Hualien

Besides the fact that we had to wait an hour to get picked up at Hualien station we loved everything about our one night stay at Just Sleep! The staff was incredibly nice, the room was amazing and even the tour they signed us up was great! The hotel is right in the middle of downtown Hualien.

Room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff are friendly and approachable. The hotel is located within walking distance from eateries and shopping streets. Free self laundry service and wifi in room provide convenience to the traveller.

However the common area where the computers are could be kept cleaner. A cockroach crawled across the table as I was accessing the internet.

Great staff and new hotel

This is a clean and new hotel. Pleasing to stay at, and good central location.
Breakfast was good enough, but we had experienced better in Taiwan.
The staff were very helpful, and helped us several times.

We felt the air conditioning was a bit overbearing, no matter what setting it was blowing a cold breeze, making the sleep a bit uncomfortable. With the air con on the door to the bathroom rattled too, so we had to wedge a chair up against it to stop it rattling.

I would stay here again, as over all it is a great hotel.
