Photos are deceiving

Strange & musty smell in hotel. Gave us room on 7 flr but it smelt of smoke/cigarettes when we asked reception, were told ‘non-smoking, but we can’t stop guests if they smoked’. They changed room eventually but Attitude was nonchalant and unsympathetic. service was slow, was told they are shorthanded.

Poor quality toothbrush - bristles were dropping out. Breakfast was bad - congee was almost cold and whole setup doesn’t look appetizing at all.

Wanted to cancel my second night but Hotels feedback they cannot find the manager. Eventually NO follow up from Hotels. And don’t believe in the photos, the hotel was run down and poorly maintained, nothing like the photos at all.

Upon arrival we realized there is no parking on site for unloading, so we had to unload everything, including a bicycle, on the side of a busy street. This is not off to a good start. Still frustrated from unloading we checked in. Front desk informed us we are upgraded from a deluxe double room to a deluxe quadruple room due to heavy booking. We sometimes choose a bigger room for its space anyway so we didn't give it too much thoughts. However, when we entered the room on the top floor.... The view..... You could see all the way down the street that's leading to the beach, then the sea. It's just beautiful. At that moment, all the unpleasantness of unloading was behind us.

Room is spacious and quiet with a work station and a sofa/coffee table set. Please note, the double beds are combined by two twin bed mattresses so there is a seam right in the middle in our room. However, that double bed is meant for two people, so... Bathroom is spacious with a big window right by the tub for star gazing. Breakfast is decent but certain foods can be hotter like eggs, fries.. This seems to be the common theme here in Taiwan, western hot food is never hot, not even warm. It could be just how it's done here. Hotel is very convenient to the beach and night market.

Rooms are clean and comfy. The double room is interesting and spacious but the quadruple room is smaller than expected (from web photo) so kinda disappointed. Apparently there are 2 types of quadruple room and i was somehow unlucky to get the smaller one. Breakfast is reasonable.

Easily one of the worse hotel room I stayed in this 2019. We booked 2 rooms and other room was pretty okay. Mine was really dirty. Cups and kettle too had stains. Night lamp is really bright. Tried contacting reception in the night to fix that but person in-charge wasn't able to communicate in English. Morning staff is pretty okay to talk in English and is pretty helpful.
Location is nice. 5 minutes of walk to the beach.

Not so Shiny these days

Huge room with a nice view but the caulk in the bathroom was just straight up nasty. Black mold under the majority of it. Super cringeworthy. Cutting out and recaulking the bathroom fixtures would really go a long way. Nice that there were two extra pillows in the room but pillow cases would have been helpful.

Spacious clean room

We had the ocean view room which had an angled large picture window. Room was spacious, bright and clean, with large modern bathroom with separate glass-enclosed shower and heated toilet. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, with so many hot and cold choices. Location was good, within walking distance of night market and local shops. Needed a taxi to get to train station.

Highly recommended if visiting Hualien.

Room is exactly as shown. Really spacious room with HUMONGOUS bed. We experienced a 4
6 magnitude earthquake and received a call from reception within 2mins checking on us if we were ok. We had initially planned to stay only 1 night but decided to extend another night as we loved the room so much. Nearby night market has awesome salt baked fish (Die-die-must-try! Not to be missed.)

It was a raining day. Hotel was not packed, hardly any customer. They do not allow early check in. No parking on site. Parking located at an off- site location in an alley. Pillow cases and bed are all dirty. Can see hair and dust all over. Rest room smells, had a bad scent. Lobby light was turn off. It was pitch dark in the morning. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

Beyond our expectation. The Family Room was huge with nice view of the Pacific Ocean. Location was excellent as it is near the Dongdamen Night Market (10 mins walk) and the Golden Triangle shopping district (15 mins walk). Front desk was nice and the lady patiently introduced to us all the good food places. Breakfast was average though.

Spacious room and clean hotel.

Friendly staff, including airport transfer driver.
Hot water didn't work in the shower on our first night. After the front desk validated, she was quick to offer a change of room and she upgraded us to their suite.

飯店位置很好，臨近東大門夜市，太平洋公園，花蓮文創，甚至走路即可吃到玉里臭豆腐，可說相當方便，整體飯店環境蠻整潔的，服務人員態度非常好，如果純粹CP值考量這是間不錯的選擇，唯一小抱怨一下飯店外的專用停車位置稍為偏暗，晚上不適合孩子進出會害怕

整體空間大，是整修過的飯店重新經營。員工接待有禮貌親切，還幫我們升等為四人房。房間寬敞舒適，浴室空間也很大，隔音的效果較差，可聽到隔壁房的聲音。地點離海邊跟市區很近，很方便，雖然停車只能在路邊休息，但也方便找到位子。早餐份量充足但是一般的料理。

Diese Hotel ist eine Drecksbude!! Wir hatten Kakerlaken im Zimmer und es war einfach schmutzig. WLAN hat nicht funktioniert. Habe dies an der Rezeption angesprochen, hat aber keinen interessiert. Das einzig Ansprechende war die Aussicht. Die wir extra bezahlt haben.

服務人員友善, 設備算半新,
停車僅能在外圍另外租的場地不方便,
但評價不高的主因為, 房間煙味過重, 宛如整晚都在二手菸的環境中. 回家後整個行李箱與全部的衣物都因菸味過重只能全部重洗與進行除味工程.

The family operating this hotel were very outgoing in suggesting things to do and places to go. We were able to use some of their washing detergent without cost. The dogs were friendly and the 2 puppies gorgeous. A nice relaxing, family feel to this B&B.

訂房前查google評論都是整潔問題有待加強，但是近1-2月的評論是飯店已改善，想說給個機會訂看看，沒想到整潔度比一般的旅館還差，進去房間地板就可以看到頭髮沒掃乾淨(家人沒穿室內拖鞋的習慣所以踩在地上乾不乾淨很明顯)、廁所門很髒、廁所漱口杯還有二個口紅印、床單有污點還有小破洞，如果對整潔度有要求的旅客請三思。

附近除了夜市，飲食類的店家似乎都不太方便，房間大小還可以，但清潔度就很不理想，浴室霉斑處處可見，空調出風口也是！陽台還出現大面積的壁癌……停車場位在走路5分鐘左右的昏暗空地裡，車輛放置感覺很不可靠…早餐…也不太理想，7點多用餐，菜色都偏涼，口味選擇性也不多，不過值得鼓勵的部分是工作人員都還蠻客氣禮貌的！
希望能改進上述的缺點！
