My husband and I checked in on October 20th. Maida was so helpful, quick and sweet! Literally, she is the best front desk agent we have ever interacted with!
The hotel is SO nice, clean and elegant (not your typical Best Western in the US). Our room was SO cozy, clean, comfortable and smelled SO nice. The sea view out of our room window was spectacular.
Street parking is free.
Breakfast was delicious. We also got a bottle of rose from the bar - needless to say it was the best bottle of wine we have ever had.
We had a hard time leaving the next morning. If we are back in the area, we will definitely stay there again.
I HIGHLY recommend the hotel.

The property is very clean, nice location close to the st Maxime town. However, our room felt very tight and small, we hardly had any space to move around which is fine cause we were barely there. If you’re staying for more than a couple days I’d recommend upgrading to a larger room. Also, we thought parking was included but it was an additional $30 per day

Great option if you want to visit St Tropez without paying a fortune for a hotel there. The boat to St Tropez leaves every 15 or 20 minutes and is a 9 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel was quite nice - good breakfast and nice pool.

Location good but the room was tiny. Like ridiculously small which affected our enjoyment. Nowhere to really put two suitcases. The chair didn’t even fit under the tiny table. Some things were not working like the heated towel rail in the bathroom to dry towels and bathing costumes. We felt that it was expensive for what was provided.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It’s definitely not your typical Best Western hotel. This is truly a four star hotel. The location, the room and the amenities are great. What makes this place even more special is the amazing service and very knowledgeable staff. The ladies at the front desk (Maida and Ukrika) were true service professionals eager to help make our stay special. The helped us with information about the area, restaurants, shopping and local transportation. They definitely saved our day by recommending us to take the boat to St. Tropez for the day instead of being stuck in traffic for ours in our car. I highly recommend this place and I would recommend you to book an ocean view room if you can.

Our trip to this area was to be spent primarily in St. Tropez, and we were disappointed at having to stay outside of St. Tropez. However, it didn't take long for us to realize how lucky we were to have stayed in Ste-Maxime, and at Montfleuri specifically, after all. Aside from the fact that it took us 30-40 minutes to travel each way (15 KM), St. Tropez was beautiful but very congested and heavily populated. We ended up spending more time in Ramatouelle (Pampelonne beach) than St. Tropez itself. But Ste-Maxime was a smaller, less overrun version of St. Tropez, and Montfleuri was delightfully quiet. We were steps from the water and a magnificent view of the Gulf of St. Tropez, but we also had a quiet pool to sit by when we needed to relax. Breakfast was delicious (also it was the only place in town that served a North American sized coffee!), and we ate at the restaurant twice. We got to know a few of the staff by name, and they were all very kind, warm and eager to ensure we were enjoying every aspect of our stay. The room was pretty small, but clean, and it had a small balcony with a view of the gulf.

All in all, if we ever decide to come back to this part of the Riviera, we will definitely stay again at Montfleuri.

I was rather disappointed with the hotel. I called around noon whether they have rooms available for an immediate check-in. The receptionist confirmed they had one room with sea view and one without for immediate check-in. I informed her that I would make a reservation via hotels.com which she was fine with. After we arrived the receptionist told us that only superior room with sea view was ready but we booked a classic room which was not ready. She never mentioned this before on the phone. So I proposed that I pay the difference between classic and superior which was 2 EUR on hotels.com. Anyway she wanted to charge me 12 EUR for the upgrade. On top of that she was rude and unhelpful.
The restaurant in average - only open for dinner and breakfast. They do not have the menu in English ... just French! Not all the stuff spoke English and the service was unbelievably slow.
The room was so so but there was an unbeareable stink in the bathroom. The furnishig is a bit worn.
The only thing that that was really good was the sea view.

Excellent location - close to beach and bay, picture postcard view from balcony in Room 308. Friendly, helpful staff at front desk and in dining facilities - helped with luggage, excellent service at dinner and breakfast. Very nice outdoor pool, though the water was a bit cold and unfortunately the mosquitos were quite active even in late September. Accommodations were modern, clean and comfortable. Ample parking. This was one night stay traveling by car from farther east on French Ri viera on way to Marseille for flight back to US.

Don't ever book this hotel through Expedia. I thought I paid for the room. When I arrived the hotel charged me almost $100 in resort fees and parking. I was only expecting to pay for parking. But, they would not let me check-in without paying extra for their resort fees. And, did I receive special for these resort fees? Nothing. Whenever I booked a room through Expedia I was satisfied. I thought I paid for the room. I wasn't planning on spending an extra $100.00 Stay away from this hotel. There are better hotels to book in the area that won't charge you extra for nothing.

We came in reasonably late and had thought to go out to eat but the dining area was so inviting and the staff very pleasant we decided to check the menu. There was a 3 course very reasonably priced option with 2 choices per course. We were so surprised by the flawless presentation, each course a visual feast and the flavours of each dish exquisite. First time here

The hotel is great though a bit pricey. Parking is not easy but I'd rather walk for five minutes than pay 18 euros per night at hotel. Easy to walk into town and very close to the beaches. Staff were first class at all times. Electric bikes available to rent if you want to take a trip around. There's a pool, lovely courtyard and a fabulous sun terrace that hardly anyone used. Sitting there at night wuth a beer, overlooking the bay and watching the night sky was a real treat. Happy to recommend this hotel.

We chose the hotel for it's location - just off the busy south coast tourist route and a good overnight stop before heading to the Verdons Gorge. Nice pool, sun lounge area and 3rd floor sun terrace, though we didn't have time to appreciate these facilities.

Much further to ferry than stated. It is at least a 10 min walk to it. Room was clean but basic. Mountain view is actually view of road. Car park was limited and full unless you prebooked a spot, ended up with street parking. Definitely not value for money.

The location was great as it was quiet. It was 5mins walk to restaurants and shops in Sainte Maxime. It was 15mins drive to St. Tropez which was great. The staff was great and extremely helpful. The rooms were a good size, but the room we had the bathroom was very small. We had sea view room and it was great! The wifi wasn`t great. Overall it was good and I would definitely go back.

Tropical paradise in St Maxime

This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful landscaped gardens with a out door swimming pool surrounded by lemon trees and lush tropical plants. The decor is perfect from the minute you walk into the hotel our room was big and spacious and immaculate clean.
All the staff were friendly especially the bar manager who was charmin. We were booking in for three nights and were having such a good time in St Maxime we extend our stay. We would recommend this hotel and are already booking for next year.

Three nights at Montifleuri

Had a great stay in the less expensive ocean view room. Great value with gorgeous view of Mediterranean and St Tropez. Bed was very comfortable for me with nice linens and plenty of pillows. Needed a softer mattress for my wife's back and hotel provided extra padding with no issue. Catherine at the front desk was exceptional and shared her favorite beach, bakery and restaurants with us, all excellent! We left our wallet in the hotel room safe after we left. A quick call to Catherine solved the problem and when we returned from Grasse to claim it, she invited us in for a complimentary drink and snack to ease our suffering- exceptional service with a smile!

Beautiful Boutique Hotel!

This hotel felt great from the moment we arrived! It had a great Breakfast buffet, very friendly staff (particularly Magda from the front desk who gave us some great advice regarding local amenities) and a romantic feel. The hotel has been beautifully decorated with very comfortable rooms. We had some friends stay on the sea side which I would recommend to users for the view.

This was the best accommodation we had during our entire stay in France. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean with exceptional amenities (coffee making machine, safe, free WiFi etc.) Catherine on the reception desk was such a wonderful help, extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her at all. We were so impressed we decided to stay another night and she accommodated our request quite easily and at the same rate we had booked the hotel for. The restaurant was tremendous and extremely relaxing. Julian and his staff made our dining experiences something we will always remember and he was not only very friendly, but extremely helpful with advice about the menu, wine he really topped off our stay at the Hotel. Would have stayed another night but our schedule dictated otherwise.

At the Montflleuri it was the attitude of the staff and service we received that stood out .
Catherine at Reception was charming , ever on hand and made us feel like valued guests .

We had a superior room ocean view and it was lovely. better view than I expected. The hotel staff were very courteous and professional and even assisted me in mailing a hotel key to the hotel we were in the previous night with no charge. parking around the hotel was available on several quiet streets. The room was tasteful with a great view as I stated, although rooms are not overly large it was quite comfortable. Wish I had stayed longer.

We checked in past midnight and knocked on the main door for a long time as it was locked. The room is beautiful witha huge balcony. Thoughi booked one thats 'seaview' , my room was on the 2nd floor n could not manage to clear the trees in front, hence a swimming piol view instead. Shower is located at the wrong place hence water is spill over the bathtub n flooded the floor. Overall still a very nice hotel for couples n family

What a view!

Hotel is only a few yards from the sea and the view from our room across the bay to St Tropez was fabulous. Staff very friendly and helpful. They recommended a trip to St T on the bateau vert which was lovely - don't try driving there unless you enjoy traffic jams. Nice beach about 1/2 mile away and lots of restaurants and bars in Sainte-Maxime about 400 yards in the other direction. Great place to stay and wish we were still there!

Quiet, friendly and comfortable hotel

My daughter and I have just had a lovely stay in this hotel. We've been to Ste Maxime several times in the last 10 years and we'll definitely be staying at the Montfleuri again. The room (hill facing) was comfortable and clean and the bathrooms got a double thumbs up from both of us. The hotel pool is not for sun worshippers since the beds are in the shade and the pool is unheated. We went to the beach clubs in any event. The bar area is really beautiful. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Ste Maxime - we thought this was a good thing because the hotel was quiet at night.

Good hotel and location with helpful staff

Hotel generally very good with all the basics of a good or excellent standard for its class. Very helpful and friendly staff. Pool and garden area big enough and pleasant. Did not eat at hotel as like to eat out so cannt comment on food. In quiet, safe, residential area and less than 10 mins walk from restaurants in centre of town. Only problem is parking on steet (or paying extra for hotel park which is tight / restricted and staff cannot move right hand drive cars). We always found a spot reasonably close to hotel on street but some luck involved. Best beaches in Nartelle 3 km away and gave up on waiting after half an hour for local bus and can pay 35-40 euro per day for two sun beds and an umbrella at excellent beach clubs with good restaurants and service. Le Wyc best value but Prao Plage did hotel minibus pick up but both do free valet paking. Expect to pay over 100 euro for two for day incl good lunch and some drinks. Also public beaches at Nartelle and closer in Ste Maxime at 15 mins away on foot seemed OK but didn't go.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The pool area and grounds are lovely. Plenty of street parking. Staff were kind and friendly. We were upgraded to a suite which was a wonderful surprise. The room was outstanding with a jacuzzi bath, an open shower and views across the bay. Food was excellent. Cannot wait to return.

Nice hotel with water views

The is the hotel for you if you like things a little more quiet and low-key but still close to the hub-bub. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool, outdoor lounge area, restaurant and bar. It is about a block from the water and many rooms have water views. It was comfortable, reasonably priced and the staff was great. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the marina and town center where there are boat excursions, restaurants, shops and beaches. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.

Great Location, Lovely Pool Area

Very nice hotel, warm welcome, great pool area with comfy sun loungers, excellent location within walking distance of resort, was able to park outside hotel - only fault was that from our room we could hear a constant squeaky door from the floor below - possibly the kitchen? However, we didn't complain about it and feel sure that had we done so, something would have been done....
