Fine hotel as a base to visit St-Tropez and Cannes

Stayed three nights at this hotel. Nice accommodating hotel staff. Due to COVID-19, there were very few guests and the hotel upgraded us at no extra charge into a room with pool view. Small room but comfortable bed. Even smaller TV but it had the function allowing you to change the language of someTV channels to English. Small bathroom with the bath/shower combo offering plenty of water pressure and steady temperature. Nice patio and beautiful pool. Unfortunately, the website didn't specify that the pool was not heated or we would have gone elsewhere. Management should really consider investing in pool heater since people vacation in this part of France to enjoy the sunshine and the pool. Pool at 17C was too cold. Adequate breakfast for the price. Nice secured parking space.

Very good hotel

Smaller rooms without terrace are much quieter generally bc don't over-look the pool. Genuinely friendly welcome. Minibar tempting but Receptionist happily emptied fridge on request to remove this risk :-). Set back from road so reasonably quiet. Simple walk from La Natura bus stop on coast (20 minutes) from St Tropez and St Raphael. Equally only 30 minutes to walk into town for decent supermarkets & lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks.

Lovely stay at Hotel Le Jas Neuf!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Le Jas Neuf-we arrived via Uber around 2pm n front desk was closed but the sign said we could go to pool. It is a GORGEOUS pool w very comfortable pool chaises! We changed in changing rooms n I did not want to go in at 3 to check in I was so happy lounging in their gorgeous pool! Jennifer was lovely n showed us our beautiful room. We walked into St Maxine for dinner n took a taxi back. The bus stops right next to hotel n we took it in to town the next morning to take ferry to St Tropez. We will definitely return to this beautiful hotel w lovely owners!

Well signposted directions to the hotel. We chose to walk to the centre on two occasions, which took us approx 30mins (each way) to Saint Maxime. It was a bonus having a swimming pool which was excellent for the price.
Our room was an averaged sized room with comfortable bed. It included air-con which worked well but was a little noisy overnight. The interior was fairly basic, but adequate enough for our stay. I don't recall any refreshments in the room but bathroom extras were also adequate. Although wi-fi was included, we did struggle to get a good connection. The definite bonus was the free and secure car park! Overall a very good stay with friendly staff.

Wonderful hotel, with or without St. Tropez nearby

We found this hotel by sorting by guest ranking in St. Tropez, and didn't realize it was quite a distance away. As it turned out, we FAR preferred Saint-Maxime to St. Tropez. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable and charming, with a wonderful heated pool. We should make it clear that check-in is only from 4-7pm, which is something that Expedia doesn't make clear except to say that late check-ins forfeit the night. SO LATE CHECK-IN MEANS AFTER 7PM. You need a car to stay here, but the beach and town are 5-10 minutes away, and we found no problem parking in lots... and on side streets at night. You can easily and cheaply take the ferry to San Tropez. Don't bother with the sightseeing cruise if you're English-speaking, as the guide's English is so bad that you can't even tell when he's speaking English.

Perfect stop off for a touring holiday. Next to a busy main road. A little out of the way but is walkable to st maxime if you are fit and healthy. Buses are available but do stop running at 20.00hrs. Comfort room was a little sparse but in saying that it had all the basics and was kept clean and tidy. Nice swimming pool on the terrace.

Average and not a great location for Family.

Unfortunately I didn't really look at the location when booking the hotel and as we are regular visitors to Ste Maxime expected the Hotel to be close to the town. This isn't so, the Hotel although within the boundaries of the Ste Maxime is actually in La Nartelle.
This isn't an issue but expect to drive everywhere unless you want a really LONG walk to the town. The beaches are close but still a good 20 minutes walk.
The hotel has no evening Restaurant or Bar so expect to be going out...ok for everyone but the driver if you want to have a drink.
The room was basic, with small minibar, but no tea or coffee facilities. good shower and small balcony for sitting or drying any washing or wet gear.
Average but as a family we won't stay there again.

Beautiful Provencal Style

Jas Neuf is a lovely, Provencal style hotel in the hills above Ste. Maxime, across from St. Tropez. Our room had a nice, private patio overlooking the pool. It also had a set of two bunk beds, which would be perfect for a family travelling with kids. (We weren't, but the lower bunk bed's a great place to drop off luggage). The pool is beautiful-heated just enough to cut the chill while still being refreshing on a hot day. I was particularly impressed with the proprietors, who appeared to be a married couple. The wife spoke good English and went out of her way to be helpful about local travel and dining. Her husband, while less proficient in English, seemed to be working hard to keep the place up. The vista from our room over the pool to the gardens and adjoining buildings was a picture-perfect display of what you think of when you say \"South of France.\" Now this is a \"suburban\" location, so a car is a must. Your first few trips to and from the hotel can be confusing, but, once you get the hang of it (and local signage directing you to the hotel helps), you'll get to and from town or the beaches in under 10 minutes. Speaking of the town and beaches, both are great in Ste. Maxime, though parking in town can be a trial. We took the ferry to St. Tropez, and then a taxi back and forth to a white sand beach (and beach club (Club 55)) nearby, but that can add up to a lot of Euros, especially when you include all day paid parking at the port of Ste. Maxime. Still, I love this hotel!

Pleasant stop at hotel Jas Neuf

As a family we appreciated the double bed in the entrance of the room which allowed us to stay at a reasonable price for the night and also the half price breakfast for children (which would otherwise be too expensive at 11 €).

The choice at breakfast was standard but the staff was always smiling and happy to provide information or service.

A lovely hotel in the typical south-of-France-architecture, very neat and tidy. The room was spaceous with a balcony which offered a wonderful view towards the hills. The breakfast covered a variety of cheese, bread, jam, ham, eggs, croissants and much more (coffee as much as you like). The hotel offers free parking and wifi.
All in all : a beautiful place (including the gorgeous lady at the reception ;) ) to spend your time in Ste.-Maxime

Contact avec l'hôtel car arrivée tardive. Très bon contact avec explication claire pour avoir notre clé et un plan pour trouver notre chambre qui était allumée et chauffée. Très belle attention. Chambre simple et efficace face à nos attentes. Grand parking pour se stationner sans soucis. Notre chien a été accepté sans problème même si nous l'avions pas annoncé à notre réservation. Otima hospedagem numa cidade linda!

Hotel/pousada muito boa, estrutura familiar, hotel muito bem cuidado, bom café da manhã, boa piscina, estacionamento no local, fácil acesso e dentro da cidade de Saint Maxime, que por sinal é um charme caminhar pela vilinha de Saint Maxime. Pra falar a verdade, Saint Maxime é muito mais charmosa do que Saint Tropez. Achei St Tropez mais fama do que qualidade. Saint Tropez se resume a um porto e a uma pequena vila com uma pracinha central, alguns poucos restaurantes e um comercio local. A praia de Saint Tropez na verdade fica em outra cidade - Pamplone. Já Saint Maxime, achei o máximo e faz jus ao nome. Cidade linda, a beira do mediterrâneo, com muitos restaurantes, um centro comercial muito charmoso; enfim, valeu a pena ter se hospedado nesta cidade que fica a uns 30km de Saint Tropez.
Voltando ao hotel, o quarto familia possui um beliche e uma cama de casal muito boa e acomoda com conforto um casal e dois filhos; banheiro grande. Ficamos hospedados num quarto com vista para piscina. O proprietário é amante do futebol e estivemos hospedados na época da Copa do Mundo quando a França foi campeã mundial. Por gostar de futebol, deixei uma camisa do Fortaleza com o proprietário pois possui as mesmas cores da bandeira da França e trata-se do meu time de coração.

Arrivati alle 14,30, la signorina della reception stava andando via e ci ha invitato ad andare in piscina ad attendere le 15 orario di apertura ed e' andata via.Era sufficente darci la chiave della camera adiacente alla reception.Camera standard molto umida piano terra con invito ad accendere l'aria condizionata(vecchio condizionatore rumoroso) solo se in camera!!!!Ho dovuto discutere sul pagamento in quanto hanno considerato la carta virtuale come garanzia e ho pagato con altra carta di credito.Controllero'se hanno sbloccato i fondi della carta virtuale.La Reception e' aperta 8,30/12;30 e 15/19 fuori orario non c'e' nessuno!!!!Durante la notte non c'e' un guardiano e nessun servizio

We spent one night in this hotel which is of a very nice Provence style. Nice swimming pool and good (but expensive) breakfast. Very good wifi. You need a car to get to any restaurant or the beach since it is on the hill. Air conditioning was not very efficient and room got very warm during the night

L'endroit est super. À deux pas de la mer (1,5 kms). Endroit calme et reposant avec un réfrigérateur à disposition des clients. Chaque chambre a sa terrasse et sa chaise longue pour pouvoir bronzer ou se détendre en toute tranquillité. Les prix sont très abordables et le personnel très agréable.

Pulizia ad ottimi livelli e colazione se pur essenziale
con prodotti di qualità. Penso propio di ritornare in futuro a rivisitare quei luoghi e sicuramente ritornerò nello stesso hotel. Ottimo a mio parere anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo !!

Séjour en famille, 2 adultes, 2 enfants, 8 ans et 4 ans.

Chambre, tres propre et très agréable,là clim, la terrasse et la piscine à proximité sont très appréciable.

Petit déjeuner très sympa.

Donc séjour très bien.

Les plages les plus qualitatives de Ste maxime sont à 2 minutes en voiture, le centre ville avec ses commerces et restaurants ainsi que le port sont à 10 minutes.

Schönes kleines einfaches Hotel mit Pool

Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich dar nicht schlecht. Es hat einen schönes Pool uns viele Zimmer mit Terrasse. Unser Zimmer lag zur Straße und habe nur ein Fenster in der Tür, welches man aber nicht öffnen konnte. Der Boden war komplett gefliest, was sich zwar schnell sauber machen lässt aber nicht sehr wohnlich ist. Leider sind die Wände so dünn, dass man wirklich alles hört. Für 2 Nächte ist es aber okay.

Freundlicher Empfang in familiär geführte Hotelanlage. Grosse Terrasse mit viel Privatsphäre. Feiner Kaffee und frisches Brot zum Frühstück. Geheizter Pool, sehr angenehm wenn es noch etwa kühler ist. Nachts zudem ein abgeschlossenes Parkareal für die Autos. Rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder.
