Lovely hotel near the beach. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Sainte Maxime for the bars, restaurants and shops. We didn’t eat at the onsite restaurant. The pool is nice with a small pool bar. The staff were great and very friendly

Pool area is so large, clean, and nice. The pool was a definite highlight. I also liked the small exercise area as an added amenity. No treadmill though, but the bike was a nice option. Parking was free and was easy with our rental car. This is near many nice beaches and a close driving distance to St. Tropez.

The Hotel is well located to St. Maxime, about 20 minute walk. Beaches across the road if you prefer beaches to poolside. Near beach resturants. Spacious rooms, ample parking. Waiting staff very friendly. Good breakast selection. There is a Tennis Club across the road from the Gated entrance, that welcomes visitors & does great food.
Negative points, breakfast is a bit chaotic, often the food, crockery & cutlery runs out & you are constantly having to request things. The staff dont seem to keep on top of it. They dont serve lunches outside of July & August, so you either have to bring food in or venture out which is a hassle when you want to spend the day around the pool. The bar doesnt open until 4pm. They dont provide towels for the pool, so go prepared with your own. Classic situation of people reserving loungers with their towels often leaving then unoccupied for hours. This wasnt policed at all. No where near enough parasols for the number of loungers. Our room door didnt lock & took the hotel 5 days to fix.

Location was on spot, walkable distance to the beach. Our room had great views of the bay and swimming pool. Had few kids playgrounds in the close by park. The only downside was bar opening hours, it closed quite early.

Great find just outside Cannes

Stayed for one night excellent accommodation about 5 miles outside Cannes…. Ideal if you have a car. Beautiful pool area, hotel is spotless and very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to improve the breakfast selection or charge less money.

Rooms spartan, reminiscent of university halls of residence. They were clean and in good condition, but the stairways, corridors were shabby, poorly signed and inadequately lit.
Certainly at high season, things seemed inadequately staffed.

We only stayed for one night but the hotel was pleasant and was in a good location.
If you cut through the botanical garden, you can walk to the centre of Sainte-Maxime in 15 mins, or reach the beaches in 10 mins.
Pool was nice. Plenty of sun loungers.
An added bonus was the free parking to which there was vast spaces.

The location of this hotel is great. You can walk to the beaches and into Sainte Maxime when everyone else is queueing in traffic and struggling to park. Comfortable rooms, well kept by housekeeping and really nice pool (both indoor and outside). The only downsides are that guests are allowed to smoke around the pool which we think should not be allowed, there should be a designated smoking area. The bar was good, great service from the team. But the food choices for lunch and dinner were limited, especially for vegetarians.

Hotel Les Jardins De Sainte Maxime was an amazing experience. The room was very comfortable with beautiful views. Going to their multiple pools was a great way to start the day and or finish off a long day at the many beaches near by.

A good hotel with a great outdoor pool area and pretty decent facilities. Nice and quiet up on the hillside above the Botanic Gardens, so surrounded by greenery. Standard hotel breakfast but plenty of it, with helpful staff always busy replenishing. Front desk staff all ok but Cecile absolutely brilliant.

If you are visiting St. Maxime for a beach holiday, this is a good place to stay. We were there primarily to attend a friend's wedding and this hotel lacks the following:
1. No ironing facility in the room. They have 1 small ironing room (very very small) with no facility to hang your clothes.
2. They have no toiletries to provide to guests. We asked for a body lotion and hair conditioner (the most basic thing in any hotel) and they couldn't provide any.. Said the only thing they had were the hand wash and body wash. For a 3 star hotel, this was a massive let down.

Otherwise, the hotel is nice. It's a drive from St. Maxine centre. The beach is right across from the hotel and the pool is great.

Nice little oasis

We spent 1 night in Ste-Maxime and were very happy with our hotel choice.
The view from the room, the pool and gardens made it a little hidden tropical oasis.
The only thing to remember is that this peaceful setting will mean that you will
probably need to drive to the watertaxi for St-Tropez.

Modern hotel, near beach and town of Ste Maxime

We spent two nights in this very comfortable and modern hotel. We enjoyed both the open-air and the indoor heated pools and had them to ourselves. There was free parking in the grounds of the hotel. It was only a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach but took 20-25 minutes to walk into Ste Maxime.

A very pleasant hotel based in St. Maxime, good value for money and the staff were delightful, friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean, well furbished although small. You do need to be fit and well to stay here as not all rooms are lift accessible and the climb up and down to the main strip requires a good walk, and you carry your own luggage to and from your room so request a ground floor room if you have any disability. There is a car park which was helpful. We only had breakfast which was nice, there were lots of choices and you can sit out on the patio with the amazing views.

Beautiful grounds, walking distance form beach

This hotel has beautiful gardens, a wonderful pool with beautiful and spacious pool area. However, the pool side rooms tend to be very small especially if you request and additional bed for a child. Hills side rooms are larger but have no view and no balcony. The breakfast was standard and the restaurant staff is neither friendly nor welcoming. The front desk staff is better. However, when we requested to have our bed sheets changed because the cleaning staff had spilled sand all over our bed, there was no response.
The hotel is very close (5 minute walk) to the beach and about 20 minute walk to town. The near by beaches are very nice and offer umbrella service, restaurants and bars. St Maxime is a small but very cute town; about 15 minutes away from St. Tropez by car. There is free parking
In general, this hotel is expensive for that it offers.

A quiet 3 star hotel with a nice big swimming pool

This is not a luxurious hotel but is a nice 3 star hotel with a nice spacious outside area and a great swimming pool. Good for a base but by no means luxurioius. I wouldn't return just with my husband but would return as a family. It has woods adjacent, through a path with little play areas. You would need a hire car to get about as it is too far to walk to the town. There is one restaurant within walking distance and a small beach.

the hotel was no where near full but we were given one of only 2 rooms on the whole floor without a balcony. aside from that the hotel was clean and tidy. a nice pool and gardens. its a fair walk to the town and of course the TRAFFFIC is a nightmare to and from St Tropez depending on the time. It took 40 minutes to travel about 6km.

A nice hotel spotlessly clean. The restaurant was a bit limited and some staff were a bit surely ate there three times during my two week stay and would not recommend it. There was no fridge in the room so you could not keep water or wine cool, we don't have young children but I would think that this omission could cause some issues. There no entertainment or facilities during the evening to get snacks or hotel shop. But overall a nice hotel.

Very close to the beach. Nice cafes right on the beach. 10 km. away from st. Tropes where rooms are very expensive. Hotel is actually in st. Maxime which is a little beach town. Nice rooms with renovatations. There was a big pool area which I didn't use but looked nice.

The hotel is located very well, close to St Tropez. However, the service was appalling, especially by the manager at reception (a blond lady quite full of herself)!! The internet in the room did not work either. The room was located on a main road. Overall, we would not stay there again.

Only negative was check-in. We arrived at 2pm not realising check-in was 4pm. We were told to come back at 3pm. We returned at 3.30 but were told room still not ready until usual 4pm check-in. We sat in reception and watched six other couples check in between then and 3.50 when, after having to ask, we were given our key. It was worth it! Room clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was very French and well overseen by the breakfast managers. There was a large choice and it was just WONDERFUL (though one day there was no cold milk). Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool-and indeed the grounds- was well maintained (no reserving sunbeds -sensible) and plenty of sunbeds. Bit of a stroll to town but worth it-lots of great restaurants.We had driven from UK and there was plenty of parking. We definitely want to return next year.

Hotel and grounds are nicely maintained, very scenic, and this hotel is a pleasant walk to the town and a few beaches. Pool and surrounding area was clean and well kept. Breakfast buffet for 13 Euros was execellent and a great value.

My only issue was with my garden level room...although it was clean, it did initially have a mild damp odor, likely the result of it being on the lowest level. After a few minutes, the smell dissipated. My assumption is that the floors/rooms above ground level do not have this issue. If you can request it, go for an upper level room.

Also, it's worth noting that everyone in France smokes in their hotel rooms, regardless of signage and regulations, so don't expect to open your terrace door to get only clean, fresh air...inevitably, you'll get your neighbor's smoke from one direction on another.

Lovely grounds, pleasant staff and big rooms

Only stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in May 2011 and we had lovely time. Pool is really nice and hotel is located next to the beautiful gardens, setting is just perfect. For those who do not have a car the walk to St Maxime town is around 20 minutes walk from the hotel but only few minutes to the beach. The rooms are very spacious and breakfast was nice as well. I would come back if I visited the area again.

We were in Provence for a month and had several nights unbooked.... found this hotel and booked it the day before with no problems.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms equipped with TV and coffee maker. No iron or ironing board in room but could be obtained.Parking on site as well ( a definite plus in this region!)
Lovely grounds and beside a botanical garden. Family friendly with outdoor pool and indoor activity rooms.
The only negative was a fairly limited and basic breakfast.
St. Maxime itself was rather dull but in close proximity to other interesting sights.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

on arrival my wife and I were greeted by friendly staff, although the room was not ready until 4pm(which we found to be very late in the day) we got over this very quickly as the Hotel gardens and pool were fantastic. When we eventually got into our room(which had a terrace) we found it to be very nice and spotless clean. If you are looking for a relaxing break this is for you. We found this to be more a 4star than a 3star. The hotel is located about 20 minute walk from the town but the plus is it is situated beside a beautiful Botanic Garden.

Enjoyed my first trip to France, found the staff very helpful and welcoming. Travelled by bike to the HD Eurofestival, parking was excellent and felt secure. I would recommend the hotel which has a nice walk through the botanic gardens to the town of St Maxime where you can get a ferry across to St Tropez.

This hotel is perfectly situated between St Tropez and Ste Maxime, ideal for our overnight stop. The entrance is gated and very private with beautiful landscaping surrounding the hotel. Parking is widely available, unlike our other experiences in this region. The reception was warm and inviting and staff extremely accomodating to our \"american\" needs-such as an iron and a power adapter. Our room was spacious and our balcony had a view of the ocean, as well as the pool and aforementioned landscaping. I feel this hotel is more than a \"3-star\" and would stay here on return trips anytime.

Hotel had an excellent position. Not so good for people with disabilities. Air-conditioning was working for first 2 days, then management decided to turn it off and even in October you need it in the South of France, especially with smallish but adequate rooms. Breakfast excellent value. Didn't eat any other meals there as prefer to go \"local\".

Hotel ligt in de berg, toch net wat te ver weg, van het stadje 45Min loopafstand centrum St.Maxime. A' la-Carte eten in het hotel is mogelijk, maar beperkt, tip: neem geen rundvlees het was een vreselijke lap taai taai, je kwam er met geen mes doorheen. Hebben we echt terug gegeven. Toen kregen we een gratis ijsje aangeboden? iIn plaats van een ander gerecht. Nou we zijn maar gaan uit eten alsook de resterende avonden Dan nog snel even over de kamer, mocht je pech hebben en in het oude gedeelte ondergebracht worden. Kamers zijn erg gehorig, en het rokende personeel slaapt er beneden. Zoals in de kamers alsook in de gang hangt een muffe geur!. Wij sliepen daar met de balkondeuren open, was een feest voor de muggen. Deze balkonkamer had geen mooi uitzicht. We keken letterlijk tegen een dichte muur van cactus en berg zonder vergezicht, erg jammer.... Bij de Wellness beneden zag je nooit personeel, allen maar hangjeugd. Verder was er weinig te beleven! Buitenzwembad viel enigzins mee, mits je er al vroeg een handdoek ging neerleggen, zodat je zeker zou zijn van bedje en ligplaats. Dit Hotel biedt te weinig parkeerplaats. Waardoor je voiture vanzelfsprekend en ongevraagd beschadigd wordt. Elke Euro voor dit Hotel, is elk bedrag teveel. Wij houden van zuid Frankrijk, maar dit is helaas een kansloze misser.... Gegroet

Séjour inoubliable. L'hôtel est très bien placé, pas loin de la mer et des commerçants. Un très grand merci au personnel. C'est une majorité de jeunes personnes qui sont d'une politesse, d'une gentillesse incroyable. Toujours le sourire, serviable, agréable. Un très grand merci également au personnel du ménage. Tout est impeccable. Un très grand merci au cuisinier. Les dîners sont dignes d'un restaurant gastronomique. Donc nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

À notre arrivée, nous avons eu une chambre relativement spacieuse avec double vasques, hélas un bruit constant de ronronnement ( canalisation ou autre??) , avons eu autre chambre bien plus petite et vétuste avec un seul vasque, et des bavardages nocturnes sous nos fenêtres du personnel et autres passants, sinon le bruit dans la chambre était inexistant au niveau ronronnement / canalisation.

Die Außenanlagen, der Pool und auch die öffentlichen Bereiche des Hotels sind sehr schön , modern, geschmackvoll und sehr gepflegt.die Zimmer sind allerdings sehr klein und mit den Matratzen kam ich gar nicht klar. Sehr hart und durchgelegen, da müsste mal ein wenig investiert werden. Auch der Stil der Zimmer entspricht leider nicht das modernen Ambiente der öffentlichen Bereiche. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die allgemeine Sauberkeit

Super et agréable

Super séjour dans cet hôtel très calme et bien fréquenté.

La communication par téléphone n'était pas top avant le séjour mais ensuite l'équipe a su répondre à nos demandes sans problèmes.

Super rencontre de Nazim à la réception qui est super serviable et nous a bien accueilli.

La plage est à 5 min à pied : il suffit de traverser le jardin de l'hôtel puis le jardin botanique ( ombragé) et on arrive devant la petite plage publique.

2 restos sont au bord de la plage et sinon il faudra marcher en direction du centre ville.
La piscine extérieure était à 28 degré et il y'avais toujours des transats de libres.

Le petit dej est très correcte.

Séjour très agréable lors d’une escapade. Accès plage très pratique la joie par le jardin botanique et piscine parfaite. Petit déjeuner bien copieux, je conseille sans hésiter.

Opholdet var ganske fint. Vi prøvet at bytte værelse, da det var uden altan og skulle være der i en uge, men desværre ikke mulige.
Der skulle spørges efter meget til morgenbuffet.
Men alt i alt, var det et godt ophold.

Wij vonden het een prachtige locatie en zelfs meer dan 3 sterren waard ,het enige wat ik zou veranderen is dat ze de tuin meer moeten betrekken bij het zwembad zodat er meer ligbedjes bij het zwembad gezet kunnen worden .
