There were was en enitre mall between this hotel and sendai station, i spent a few hours going and looking at all thw different shops, the rooms were perfectly clean and the staff overall was very helpful

If you are heading to Sendai, highly recommend this hotel. It has all the qualities that a traveler would want. Engaging and helpful staff. Spacious and immaculately clean room. Bed was very comfortable and even the pajamas provided fitted well and was nicely pressed. The hotel, a 2-minute walk from a subway station, is next to two 24-hour convenient stores. Can’t beat that!

This was a very clean property from all the public spaces to the guest rooms. The staff were first class with their smiles and willingness to assist guests at any time. The only thing I would suggest is to turn down the frequency and amount of scent used in the scent machine. It was quite strong for those who are sensitive to scent. We really enjoyed our stay!

First time visit to Sendai. One night only. This hotel matches up with $300-350/per night (US) for a Tokyo hotel. It's solid. I was unfamiliar with Sendai and didn't know what else the city had to offer in the way of tourist attractions, but the hotel was conveniently located near a wide variety of those covered shopping street malls. For this trip, that was good enough for me. Decided to get breakfast there too. Good decision. Buffet was excellent.

Excellent value, lovely hotel

Great balance of price and luxury, a very clean and modern hotel. Large public baths are on offer but rooms also have private bathrooms. Bed was comfortable and the on-site restaurant is excellent.

They renovated the hotel rooms. Some of them are so small room which has two bed! So we changed a room which we used to use all the time. If you need a desk for your work, pls ask them directly. Otherwise, they provide you small room even though price is almost same.

Not able to use public bath

My stay was generally good with the big exception and disappointment that the public bath was not in service during my entire stay. This was the big reason I booked this hotel (knowing that Mitsui Garden has nice public baths). I feel I should have been told this before booking.

The hotel runs the place since 15 years ago, and we use from 14 years ago. Unfortunately, a few years ago, most of the staffs were changes and new young people stand up at the front desk. They always ask me, \" Have you ever visit our hotel?\" :( Even though I was visited three times this year. That is why, I feel sad nowadays to visit the one. According to the hotel, they will start renovation so during Jan- April they will close. I hope their renewal open will be to reach up grade service for all customers who would like to visit like second home.

Since they opened the hotel, I used the hotel as my home base hotel every year, but unfortunately all staffs were gone during the last 8 months even tough the restaurant in the hotel. They became a typical business hotel now. Good luck.

Conveniently located but room is small

This hotel is located within a high rise. The location is not exactly closed to Sendai station but aobadori station which is still convenient. The room is however pretty small. The bathroom has hardly any counter space, or electric outlet. One has to dry hair from the writing desk. Bathroom can store a few items on some narrow glass shelves. We stayed for two nights in February. Outside temperature is cold but inside of the hotel is hot. The temperature control seems not blowing cool air quick enough. The best way to cool down is to open the curtain and let the outside temperature cools down the room via the window glass. The breakfast was good. Stayed there two days and they did not serve the exact same food. We could taste some local specialities. Public bath was fine as well.

The washroom wasn’t cleaned when I arrived. The air conditioning didn’t function at night. Other than that the staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel is a 4-star by name, but I have had better experiences with a 3-star hotel.

My overall stay was good. The staff were helpful and kind. You do have to cover up tattoos for the public bath on the property. The room was clean only one thing (lantern) was dusty. I would stay here again. It was in walking distance to convince stores, restaurants and only 15 min walk from Sendai station.

Many great restaurants nearby but on my last 7 day stay decided to eat at the Italian restaurant at the hotel which is excellent with a decent wine selection. A great relaxing way to end a busy day

空気清浄機をかけたのですが、匂いを完全に排除できませんでした。
また、バスルームは一見きれいに見えますが、見えにくい溝に埃、髪などの汚れがありました。
お部屋の脱臭に工夫していただけたら、さらによいと思います。

NOISY emergency sirens at night no sleep

The room is modern and appeared clean but when we were ready to sleep we found the comforter/blanket they sheets were dirty. They quickly changed this out for us but for a hotel rated so highly you don’t expect to find dirty sheets. At night there are AMBULANCE SIRENS going off all night. We couldn’t sleep and stayed here for 2 nights. It was so loud and frequent it was terrible. Maybe it’s the location that the hotel is near a hospital or major road that emergency crews have to drive. Friendly and welcoming English speaking front desk staff. We had them hold our luggage for the day before check in and they brought it up to our room without us asking which was nice. The onsen is small but clean. Location is walking distance from Sendai station. First impression was good but due to no sleep will not recommend or stay again.

Great place to stay

Very nice and clean hotel. Just a couple minute walk to downtown Sendai and the train. They offer parking at a discounted rate. It was also very helpful that some of the staff spoke English. The best hotel we have stayed in Sendai so far!

Room was like a sauna but ice pack was available!

Chose this hotel due to the fact that it has a public onsen and seemed to have a good reputation, even though it's a little further away from the JR station than others. We had two separate night bookings. Room was too warm despite the heater was off. Could only open a tiny window vent to let some cold air in. They lent us a portable fan the first night, it was kinda bearable. Then we went to Ginzan Onsen. Wanted to cancel the second night but it was too late. When we returned to the second booking, it was the same corner room but one floor higher. The room was even warmer than the first, we could feel the heat from the sun shining through. We opened the vent and borrowed the fan but it didn't do anything. Window was all fogged up. Went down to the front desk and the guy gave us an ice pack. We were stunned as this is a 3.5 star hotel and being given ice packs as a solution is just an insult. We honestly wanted to leave and find a different hotel at that point! His colleague heard the conversation, she apologised and took us to check if any other rooms were better. Came across one with 2 windows on both sides, it was slightly cooler but we still needed to have the window vents opened and the portable fan on to cool the room down. We hadn't even been to the public bath at that stage, which was the reason why we booked there in the first place. We were grateful that the girl upgraded us but we will definitely not be booking with Mitsui Garden ever again.

三井ガーデンホテルは何回か泊まって居ますが、仙台は初めてでした。ロケーションがよく、飲食店も周りに沢山あります。地下鉄駅もすぐ近くで、便も良いかと思います。
ただ、駐車場料金が別途支払いだったのですが、私が見落としていたのかもしれないですが、その情報を持ってなかったので、その点は事前に教えて欲しかったです。

チェックインが遅くなりましたが先に預けていた荷物は部屋に運んでありました。
大浴場は洗い場の数が少ないので洗い待ちになりましたが、リニューアル後なのできれいでした。
朝食も満席の為少々待たされましたが、宮城の郷土料理もあり美味しく頂きました。
