Very misleading and inaccurate description
After reading the online description we booked a double room for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The description said menus were available on check in. On arrival we were told that the restaurant was full. We booked a double bed,only to find two singles pushed together. Reception staff were very apologetic and we were given an upgrade. We went out to search for somewhere to eat in the village before moving rooms. The new room was larger with a terrace. The outside of the windows were so dirty that we had to go outside to fully appreciate the view but only after forcing the door. The bed set up was the same so I went back to reception. I was told that there were No double beds in the Hotel. The receptionist did produce a bag of cable ties and suggest we could tie the bed legs together. This however would not hold the mattresses together. I’m sure that this experience will one day make an amusing anecdote although had I known this when we checked in we would have simply driven for another 3 hours and slept in our own bed. We did not stay around for breakfast in the morning.

We booked a 10 person hytte/cabin over the NYE period. The cabin was a lovely log cabin with a fireplace. The amenities were basic, but we were comfortable. The rooms don't have space for luggages so that was the only frustration experienced.

Vi hadde en studioleilighet. Var to vaksne og to barn. Førsteinntrykket var veldig bra. Fint bad og fint rom. Men det endret seg. Sovesofaen var grusom. Måtte ta madrassen på gulvet og ta overmadrassene fra dobbeltsengen for å kunne sove. Ellers så ligger du i en bue. I tillegg så er det ekstremt lytt. Folk har med seg hunder. over oss hadde noen med seg hund som de gjekk fra som sto og ulte og bjeffet. Ta med sov i ro :) plusspoeng for at bassenget var varmt.

Hytten var helt nydelig, vi ble så positivt overrasket. Minus for lav takhøyde på øverste soverommene (drar med ca 10 dunk i hodet, men er man mindre klumsete så tror jeg det går bra!)og at ene toalettet knapt kunne trekke ned litt papir (heldigvis var det to og det andre fungerte utmerket!).

Perfekt for familie på 5 + hund
Vi bodde 3 netter i en comfort leilighet med 2 soverom. Bardøla var perfekt for vår familie med 2 voksne, 3 barn og 1 hund. Leiligheten var romslig og den var lekkert innredet, det føltes nærmest som vår egen, private leilighet. Det er svært lydtett mellom leilighetene, og vi hørte knapt folk i gangen eller rundt oss. Myke, behagelige senger. Bassenget var varmt og passe stort. Man sjekker inn og ut på en automat, og det er ingen resepsjon der - men en restaurant/cafe der det er folk om det skulle være noe. Området er relativt stille og rolig, og det er kort avstand til sentrum av Geilo. Mulig vi tester ut hyttene neste gang (selv om de ligger nærmere toglinjen). Vi kommer garantert tilbake igjen!

Skuffet over at det ikke er frokost. Måtte gjøre alt selv ang innsjekk og utsjekk. Ikke kontakt med noen som jobbet der. Savnet de gamle hotellrommene hvor det ikke var kjøkken på rommet. Vil heller ha et lite bord og 2 gode stoler å sitte i.

Flott sted, meget bra lokasjon, stor og fin leilighet, MEN her var det dårlig utført oppussing og litt dårlig renhold på bad og kjøkken.
Gammel oppvaskmaskin med mye rust etc, skitne tallerkener og glass, samt en veldig hard madrass i sengen.

Un bel hôtel dans un très bel endroit. L’établissement est très propre, l’accueil agréable. La chambre est grande et confortable, sauf le lit qui est dans une niche très étroite où il faut se faufiler et sans possibilité de poser quoique ce soit sur les côtés( livre, lunettes…) . À part cet inconvénient, le restaurant, le petit déjeuner et la piscine sont parfaits. Il est important de noter également que le parking comporte des postes de recharge électrique pour les véhicules. Une très bonne adresse où il faut rester souple !

Vi var to par som hadde tre overnattinger i perioden 30.12.2020-02.01.2021.Vi opplever 3 flotte døgn med fantastisk hyggelig personale i alle avdelinger og ble servert meget god mat både til frokost og middag (en stor takk til personalet på kjøkkenet). Dette ønsker vi å oppleve på nytt…
Det andre paret var meget fornøyd med sitt rom (318).Det var pent pusset opp med et lite,men meget pent bad…Dette gjaldt dessverre ikke vårt rom(208).Badet er ikke pusset opp,og meget slitt og stygt.Dørene på dusjkabinett er vanskelig å lukke,da de henger og slenger. Det oppleves som \"rart\" at vi betalte den samme summen pr.døgn for disse to rommene,da det var stor forskjell på standaren på badene.

Veldig hyggelig betjening. God frokost. Vi fikk først et litt trist rom, men takket være en svært serviceorientert betjening ble vår forespørsel om å bytte rom tatt i mot og umiddelbart effektuert til vår tilfredsstillelse. Fin gym og badebasseng.
