Spa hotel is a misnomer: the ‘Spa’ is part of the external waterpark, which charges extra (which would be ok), but more importantly, there’s no entry before noon or after 7pm, thus, if you go skiing, there’s no chance to go to the Sauna after dinner or in the morning. I wish this would have been noted on the website - I would certainly not have booked this if I knew!

Nice location, staff is very friendly. Premium breakfast is worth the spend in our opinion. The downside, the rooms are too warm and are centrally controlled. Our room was 73 degree's, which for us was way too hot. Your only option is to open windows which is difficult to get the temperature consistent. There is also significant road noise where we were. The pillows suck, no other word for it. A pillow case with minimal fill, might as well have nothing. Asked for extra pillows, took 2 days to get them. This place serves a purpose, but is by no means luxury.

Junior suite was an excellent size for 4. A little dated, but no complaints. Excellent in-room amenities. Lots of storage space. Breakfast good. Pool complex fantastic - although water a little chilly! Great location, easy to park car (extra charge). Staff friendly and helpful. Would return and would recommend.

Kylpylän laajennus ulkoaltaineen on todella kiva. Viimeksi käynyt kun oli vain vanhapuoli. Huoneet on ihan ok kunnossa, toki käytön jälkiä löytyy. Yksi mitä jäi kaipaamaan oli sellainen rauhallinen aulabaari. Ei 100dB musiikkia vaan paikka jossa istuskella ja ottaa vaikka kuoharia. Vastaanoton yhteydessä olsi sellaiselle tilaa.

The family room was spaces but was separate to the main hotel , this I did not realise until I checked in
The breakfast was delicious and there was a varied menu , the breakfast was served in the main hotel so we had to go outside to go back inside to eat breakfast
The spa pools were in a different building to the hotel so again we had to go outside to go back inside to use the pool, the pool area was an area used by hotel residents and the general public aswell so not exclusive to hotel Residents , and could be paid for each time it was visited , this I did not know and so paid for a full 7 days in advance when booking ,the peace and tranquillity shown on the website could not be found as there were many people using the facilities, however there was pool aerobics which was fun, as this area was not so relaxing we only used once throughout our 7 days stay

Levi Hotel Spa is excellent in every way. The bus from Kittilä Airport stops right in front of the hotel. Every room is a short distance to the hotel’s Water World, as well as the slopes, dining, shopping. My junior suite had an in room sauna!

On a personal note I left my backpack on the shuttle bus from the airport. The front desk helped to arrange drop off while I was on the slopes. All staffers of the hotel were friendly and welcoming.

Highly recommend for anyone thinking about visiting Levi.

Huoneiden ilmanvaihto todella huono, parvekkeen ovi piti olla auki koko ajan ja parveke kun sijaitsi pääoven yllä, tupakan savu tuli koko ajan sisään. Tupakointi paikka saisi olla muualla kuin oven edessä. Tyynyt vanhoja joissa ei paljon enää kuohkeutta ollut. Aamupalan munakasta ei voi kehua, jotakin jauhoseosta.

Visited for 1 night with my daughter on our way back to South. Room was trylu big enough even for bigger family and price to quality ratio is good. Hoever, during summer these rooms are outdated. No AC and even the ventilation did not seem to work and the room was stale. So definitely needs an update soon. Not even simple fan was included to the room and opening the window did not really help anything. Otherwise the service, breakfest etc. were really nice!

We have just come back from a 3 night stay. We had a good paid upgrade when we got there.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The premium breakfast was nice more variety on the menu flor children would be good. The beds were very comfortable room was cleaned every day. The hotel is very convenient to everything. Would definitely say there again.

Would have been 5* if water wasn’t freezing cold in the water world area and you have to be naked in saunas! Outside jacuzzis not working.

No room service, no access to any food anywhere after 9pm (that we could find)

Huone oli kaikinpuolin hyvä. Minikeittiöstä plussaa ja siitä että pystyi käydä käytävällä lämmittämässä ruokaa mikrossa. Huone kaipaisi pientä pintaremonttia ainakin kylpyhuoneen kohdalta. Iso plussa kun saimme paremman huoneen mitä oltiin varattu. Aamupala loistava. Varmasti yövymme täälä uudelleenkin :)

Nice hotel close to the ski slopes. The spa is more a kids spa. Very cold water, we managed to enter only in the hot tub, the pools were freezing to me. Sauna are gender separated, so if you visit as couple you will need to split up in the sauna. In general this is an excellent location for families with kids, but I would not recommend it for couples.

Lovely base, close to everything.

This was a lovely place to base for levi for a few nights. It was really warm and cosy and couldn't fault the cleaning service. My only issue would be that it was classed as self catering rooms and they only had a couple of mugs and glasses and hardly any cutlery, so my kids had to eat cereal from a mug. But other than that it was lovely. Swimming was also discounted which was good and we went everyday.

I was at an organization meeting for thu-sun with my family member. We stayed in an old “inn” like building with the design hotel right next to us. The receptionists did not have their days. However we upgraded for the last night/day to a junior suite. Building exchange. It was wonderful, like a small apartment (with) sauna). Sooo overall ok.

Great location and a brilliant hotel for families

It is a good hotel in the perfect location. Breakfast was ok, a great selection for families. The pool area is brilliant, my kids loved it. My only negatives are the beds aren’t very comfortable and it would be nice to have a choice of having a family room in the main hotel as wrapping up 5 people to go outside for a 3 min stroll to breakfast and having to take it all off again is a daily struggle. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay especially with the spa/swimming facilities.
The room advertised with tea/coffee making facilities which it certainly had but I was surprised at a 4 star rating that tea bags/coffee were not provided in the room.
Also understand under renovation/construction so limited facilities but this was not advised at time of booking. My husband always looks for a shoe horn at hotels we stay at.

Stayed over from 24/12 to the 27/12, first off how this is a 4 star hotel is beyond me the food is dreadful and the pure juice is watered down, the room we stayed in never got clean whist we stayed there and luckily we had are own towels as they never get changed either, The staff try to over charge you to use there swimming pools 22 Euro per adult and 14 Euro per child, what they don’t tell you on there site at time of booking, also if you stay direct with the hotel is it’s free before 11am then it’s only 10 Euro per day per adult and children are free, also to use there family room costs you money, none of the facilities are free and for 210 Euro a night it’s a blatant rip off, they will also book you a taxi to get you to the airport, what they don’t tell you at the time is they will change you 10 Euro just for the call ! No wonder your tourists trade is getting less your company any many others in Levi act fraudulently in ways of extracting every cent out of tourists without telling them ! SHAME ON YOU !!!!, I’ve taken my complaint to the ECC in Finland, you will here from my lawyer aswel in due course !!!

1. U have to enter via burger king to the hotel reception.

2. Our room was not cleaned or even turned down once during our 4 day stay.

3. Our complimentary coffee and tea were not replenished and i had to buy my own as the cleaners never came as promised.

4. The spa /pool area was excellent and a good range of different hot and cold pools. But in -10 temperatures and the only way to the outdoor hot tubs were through the outdoor pool from inside to out as they would keep the doors locked.

6. Carpark and walkways often snowploughed for safety.

7. Great choice of cereal and seeds and dried fruits at breakfast. Some odd warm foodstuffs but generally an excellent breakfast.

8 reception staff excellent - very friendly. Great english. Ordered taxis. Helped with general stuff.

9. No way of turning off aircon in room suite 257 so after 3 days of dry air we were both suffering.

10. Room very quiet - not really any noise dusturbance from neighbours or upstairs.

11. Single beds pushed together with single duvets. .quite comfy and nice pillows. But for a suite id have liked a double bed at least.

Nice hotel, rooms clean, my only problem was a little pricey for food, and the room we stayed in was straight opposite the stairs of the lodge we were in so we heard every noises person coming up and down the stairs and noises people in our block, would be nice to have reminders family sleeping signs around, so others could see it and maybe read and respect that. Some staff very helpful and happy some very serious and not no friendly, the classic pizza restaurant charged us for water from the tap which I thought was a joke. Never have I been charged for tap water. Overall tho hotel great and good facilities x

I had an excellent midsummer stay at Levi Hotel Spa. Staff were top notch -- friendly and helpful. The spa is amazing, and only 6 euro per visit for hotel guests -- the pool area comprises about 15 pools of varying shapes, sizes and temperatures, a water slide, sauna, and no icky chlorine smell. Free bikes, cheap airport bus. Rooms were a little chilly for my taste but the sauna warms you up for hours after, and the beds have the thickest down comforters I've ever experienced. Great off-season price. Right in middle of town.

Good hotel at an excellent location to enjoy all that Levi has to offer. Good rooms and breakfast. Huge pools, saunas & spa center is the main attraction: however: 1. the center is in another building - not such fun in cold weather, 2. It is provided for an extra cost (reduced to hotel guests) and 3. It is open to outsiders - on Saturday evening it was unbearably crowded, on Monday early afternoon, we had it almost for ourselves.

A nice stay not too far a walk from the mountain to ski. Rooms are nice clean and comfortable. I am not a picky traveler and go with the flow but there were two items of annoyance. Upon checking in I was given a key that did not work for the room door and that is more annoying than usual as the walk from checkin to your lodge in the snow with baggage can be 5-10 mins each way. Not the end of the world, but just a bit sloppy. Also the staff is unwilling to helpout with any excursions whatsoever, and arent even helpful they simply say go to tourist info place for dogs reindeer or northern lights. Despite multiple attempts with different people finally oneeeeeee nice lady at the desk picked up a phone and locked me in for a quick event and took the time to process payment. She was being super nice so do not expect the usual hotel type service for anything out of norm you want to cook up.

The location of the hotel is great. Hotel is in the center of the Levi. The staff are helpful and friendly. I had a medical emergency in the middle of the night and staff on duty was helpful. All other staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was cold -30C but everything was great especially the staff. Warning they make you wear speedos, so pack some or be prepared to rent them for 5 Euros a pop. We saw the northern lights the first night about a 500 meters from the hotel.

Fantastic hotel

The spa is remarkable: huge and we discover new jets every day, the location is brilignat in the center and near the ski lifts, they have great alert service for the northen-light - they call you when it occurs

Lapland Spa Hotel

It was OK. I had the "family room" which sleeps 4 in two twin beds and a bunk-bed. The room had a kitchenette with small refrigerator – which was very convenient. The Hotel is located very close to the ski slopes as well as to the town of Levi. The breakfast was adequate and the staff was helpful almost all the time. The one down side was the Spa's stipulation that men wear bathing trunks made out of "Speedo" material in the swimming pool areas – which did look very cool. I showed up with my Myrtle Beach swim trunks - which have a liner - and was told by the lifeguard (who was wearing a swimsuit very similar to mine) that I could not enter because my trunks had to be made of "Speedo" material. He did mention that I could rent appropriate trunks or buy one at the hotel store…but, not being an olympic swimmer, I thought it best to avoid that inappropriate Speedo look that we have all seen. So, I opted out and simply went skiing. Yeah…me in a Speedo…I don't think so. And renting a Speedo…yeah, again…I don't think so…that's just gross. I suppose I could have bought one - but spending a lot of cash to embarrass myself in a one-off swimming experience isn't going to happen. So, I headed to the slopes. So, if you do go to the pool/Spa, bring an appropriate suit or be prepared to buy one at Finnish prices!

Thel was very similar than 30 years ago and that was nostalgic.Of course then there were no spa,The children enjoyed the spa a lot .In the evenings the ala carte food was not very good,but it didn't matter so much.Service was especially kind.

Lovely Family Holiday for Beginner Skiing

Warm & comfortable hotel, loved the pool, especially outside hot tubs. Managed to create a few meals with bags of microwave rice bought from the UK in the room, as soon bored of pizza and meals out expensive. Saw the northern lights from the car park on the one clear night. Excellent skiing for beginners, just using the free ski lift a short bus ride away on the South Slopes for the first day (saving on one day of lift passes) and winter walks and good cafes for the non-skier. Snow mobiles fun too - much quieter than slopes in the Alps.
