The hotel is lovely, great location and our room was big with a beautiful view. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with enough vegan options for us. However, when we checked in, we were told the restaurant was all full for dinner and couldn't make reservations. We were tired from traveling all day and very hungry. The hotel should have been able to accommodate 2 more people for dinner.

Fantastic setting, great views from pool and breakfast room. Pool fantastic, not cold. Nice breakfast and bedroom lovely. We walked into Milazzo and to the castle from the hotel. We travelled by train and on arriving at Milazzo station there was a bus to take us to the town centre. We walked to the hotel from there but there is a quite a steep up hill walk to the hotel.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for boat trips from Milazzo to Lipari, Stromboli and Vulcano etc
The hotel has wonderful rooms with stunning views over Harbour. (And in good weather distant views of etna) Pool area is great and parking is fine (which is so important in Sicily)
However there was a degree of disinterest of staff with paying guests.
During our stay we were told without warning that restaurant and pool would be closed due to a wedding. The noise from wedding went straight to our room till 3am. Very annoying and a shame as they stay up to then had been great. That said I guess we were unlucky with timing and I would recommend the hotel if you are planning a boat trip from milazzo, providing you don’t mind the 30 min walk to harbor (which we don’t)

Stayed 2 nights. First night was woken at 11pm by loud music that went on for a couple of hours. Sounded like a private party in restaurant. Was only told at check in that restaurant wasn’t serving food - nothing about the party. Hotel is very echoey. Music went on till about half 12 -1 am. Second morning was woken by building work.

Il latte aveva un sapore amaro, mio figlio di 6 anni voleva i cereali con il latte, ne ha preso un cucchiaio e mi ha detto che non gli piaceva il sapore, quando l'ho provato mi sono accorto che aveva un sapore pessimo, poi l'hanno cambiato, a parte dal prosciutto ne aveva un altro Il colore non era fresco, avrebbero dovuto curare di più la colazione di qualità molto bassa.

Spent one night here before heading out to the Aeolian islands. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Views on the ocean side were stunning Ate at the restaurant which had seating around the pool - the menu was not extensive but what we ordered was sublime. They also made a simple, off-menu dish for our pre-teen who has a less developed palate. The next day we had a small medical issue and the front desk helped us get that taken care of quickly and easily.

Beautiful hotel with views across the bay.

We toured around Sicily in summer 2022 and stayed in the Eolian Milazzo hotel primarily to be able take an Eolian Islands trip from Milazzo harbour.

The hotel is architecturally quirky with nice rooms and a choice of very nice (and not overcrowded) swimming pools. The food in the restaurant was very tasty with good choice and excellent service.

On the downside: the Wi-Fi was truly appalling (our room was ten metres from the reception desk!) and never worked anywhere in the hotel; the maid left a wet dirty towel on top of my wife's chemise all day which then had to be packed wet; and the check out bill included the amount we had already paid Hotels.com, though the receptionist did change the bill with no quibbles.

Very stylish but not the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in. Sea view was amazing and worth the extra I think but the shower was a disappointment as I found it impossible to use without it leaking all over the floor. Air conditioning worked well but was a little noisy. Staff were all polite but not the friendliest. It was quite difficult to find as we could not see the sign from the direction Google maps made us approach.

The hotel is very nice, close to the main harbor and the Milazzo castle. Even so the parking is free, the parking is gated. We were lucky that another car was coming to the hotel, else we wouldn't know how to get into the hotel.

Although the hotel room was comfortable, I have only rated it as average due to 1) air conditioning was not working for 2 of the 3 days we stayed there and when we enquired about this we were not given the correct information until the final night's stay 2) although parking was on the premises it was a fair distance away and up several flights of stairs and 3) rubbish had built up in the stairs to get to the parking and this was not cleared during the time we stayed at the hotel.

The hotel does have air conditioning but it is centrally controlled so can’t be adjusted even though there are controls in the room. When mentioned to hotel staff they claimed to adjust the room tempature but nothing happened. On the last day after 3 days we were told that a part needed to be replaced. When we asked to speak to the manager, he/she wasn’t available. Very poor service in this respect with very little regard for their guests. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Milazzo Visit

A lovely town and hotel. The location of the hotel had a great view of the bay and harbour, but the downside of the location was the long widening raod down to the town. If you have any physical challenges, this is not the hotel for you stay. The restaurant has great atmosphere but the food was mediocre and over priced. The service from the hotel staff was upto the hotel rating of 4 stars.

The Modern Milazzo

The Eolian Milazzo is a 15 minute walk to town and to the Fort. The parking was free and located in an upper lot of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and modern with the beds being extremely comfortable. The shower was a bit of a struggle. There was only a half glass and not completely enclosed so we put lots of towels on the floor to absorb the water that kept spilling from the shower head. The breakfast was lovely and the staff very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially if your headed to the Aeolian Islands for a short stay.

Stuff was rude, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Gym open from 8-21 and there is no excusion that there is almost no guests so maybe? Will never go there again. I felt really unwelcome. Twin bed is actually one bed with two mattresses and one duvet . NO recommend

We stayed here prior to our ferry to Vulcano. Rooms lovely and beds super comfy. We had a lovely dinner there with superb Sicilian food. Other reviewers are right, there's no scrambled eggs for breakfast but there is plenty of breakfast and cappuccino. There's hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruits, ham, cheese, freak baked bread, Nutella, delicious tomatoes, yoghurts, etc. enjoy the change and dig in

This hotel is hard to find, even with a GPS, until you know the way. Trust your GPS, that road up the hill is actually a 2 way street. It's not really walking distance to town and the castle is a steep uphill walk. We drove anywhere we went. Milazzo is a lovely town, but they take their afternoon break seriously and everything closed down from about 2:00 to 4:00. Many of the cafes are small and you will pay extra if you sit at a table rather than take away. There's a lovely water side park, so just take your slice and drink there. At night, skip the restaurants on the main street and find something in one of the alleys or up by the castle. We were there off season, so the bars in the hotel were not open. A very nice check in clerk managed to make us a drink from the small lobby bar. We checked in late and they were helpful with luggage and parked the car for free. Yes, as described, the AC leaves something to be desired. We got the clerk to change the temperature, but it really never got comfortably cool enough.

A one night stopover on the way to Lipari. Hotel was near the end of its season, but the desk clerk, Maria Luisa, was remarkably helpful with directions, a map, and suggestions. Restaurant provided delicious dinner and breakfast the next morning. We left our car there while in the Aeolian Islands. Only complaint? Bed too firm.

A beautiful hotel, unique rooms

This hotel was a great stay over spot prior to taking the ferry early the following morning to the Eolian Islands. The hotel is modern clean with really unique, modern rooms and lay out. The balcony and view are breath taking. Unfortunately, there was a party the night we stayed at this hotel and the restaurant was closed, but the hotel provided transportation to and from a nearby restaurant. The only complaint I have is that the concierge forgot to give us our passports back and if the concierge hadn't caught this, we would've departed on the ferry without them. The concierge called our taxi cab and he quickly delivered our passports prior to boarding the ferry. The taxi charged us 10 Euro for this; I was upset that I had to pay for the delivery of them but just happy it was caught in time.

Classy hotel in interesting town.

This was the last of five stops on our tour of Sicily - and chosen to be a treat for the last four nights. The hotel is very well appointed - classy, contemporary decor in the rooms, a beautiful swimming pool (plus tennis court and 5-a-side football pitch!) and, from our deluxe room, a wonderful view over the town and the bay. Breakfasts were fine, but we didn't have any dinners in the hotel because the menu was hopeless for vegetarians. The hotel isn't perfect - there were annoyances like the room air-conditioning, (which you can't adjust or even turn on/off, from the room - you have to phone reception and ask them to do it!!!), the room's television (which for most of our stay would only play one channel) and, finally, getting into the hotel (which is through security gates and requires reception to be buzzed from outside the gates). If you're choosing this hotel and, like ours, your room looks out over the bay and the pool, I would recommend a room on at least the second floor because there seem to be frequent wedding receptions on the terrace around the pool which can go on into the early hours, complete with flashbulbs and general hubbub - so the higher up your room, the better.

Smuk placering og lækker morgenmad

Hotellet er i rigtig god stand og ligger på en bakke med en fantastisk udsigt udover vandet. Vores værelse var rigtig fint, dog boede vi på 1. etage, hvor der var meget larm fra receptionen og ekstra sengen, som vores 8-årige lå i, larmede/knirkede meget, hver eneste gang hun vendte sig.
Morgenmadsbuffeten er fantastisk med både salt og sødt.
Poolområdet var også rigtig fin. Vi lå kun ved den pool, som også var åben for offentligheden, men der var reserveret senge til hotellets gæster.
Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse!

Struttura nuovissima, ambienti freschi,puliti e spaziosi. Colazione a buffet abbondante, varia e fornitissima. Piscine pulite,non affollate. Quella adiacente alla struttura,dotata anche di un bar dove è possibile pranzare, l'altra che si affaccia sul mare proprio nel corpo centrale della struttura. Vicinissimo al lungo mare per le passeggiate e ottima la posizione per visitare le principali attrazioni di Milazzo.
Super consigliato sia per una fuga romantica che per qualche giorno spensierato in famiglia.

Nice hotel but not much more than that!

This hotel did not entirely live up to our expectations. The pool area is very nice also the room was very nice. However the breakfast was really messy, the staff seemed confused and was slow to re-fill breakfast supplies. The restaurant food was also very underwhelming. My dish didn’t taste anything at all, no salt no nothing… Also we payed extra for sea-view from the room but mostly saw the pool area where people could look into your room. So we did not use the balcony at all. Overall the Hotel has potential but falls a bit short.

Ottima struttura, pulita, personale accogliente ma un pò sciatto (le mani della receptionist non curate).
All'interno dell'hotel c'erano 2 piscine ma non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di scegliere quella all'interno della struttura senza alcuna motivazione. C'era l'indicazione di un'area fitness ma praticamente erano 4 attrezzi posizionati lungo il corridoio del quarto piano.
Nell'insieme molto bene. I dettagli da migliorare.

Det som saknades var en bar och toaletter vid poolen. Dessutom stod det att det skulle finnas privat strand och spa på hemsidan, men det fanns inte. Kan ändå rekommendera hotellet varmt eftersom det är superfin utsikt, fina rum och fantastiskt trevlig personal överallt i hotellet.

Was supposed to be a room for 5 with balcony, ended up being a room for 4 with a terrace which was also the entrance of the restaurant and the swimming-pool terrace. In this restaurant, 5 m away, a big birthday party with loud music that went to 1am. Albeit we asked for quietness to reception, it didn't stop. Taxi to airport was 190€, provided by the hotel, while the same offer can be found for 150€ on a simple phone call....

Pessima gestione del cliente

Al check in non trovavano la mia prenotazione ed ho perso più di 20 minuti. La cosa peggiore che alla mia richiesta di uscire dal l’hotel dal retro verso il borgo a piedi mi è stato negato Facendomi fare tutta la strada che percorrono le macchine per arrivare al borgo a piedi.
Avevo scelto questo hotel proprio per quella comodità oltretutto già fatto altre volte.
Consiglio a questi sig.ri di rivedere il comportamento con i clienti scendendo dal piedistallo e ricordandosi che lo stato con gli aiuti Covid non ci sarà per sempre.

bella struttura, stanza sporchissime

scappati subito dopo il check-in. condizioni igieniche indicibili. abbiamo visitato quattro diverse stanze, tutte e quattro sporchissime. il tutto dopo averci fatto attendere 90 minuti per il check-in perché stavano (asseritamente) pulendo le stanze
