Our bathroom had a slight sewer smell. The view was spectacular. An email from the hotel about check in procedure would have helped a lot. We drove to the end of the road and it was a 200 m walk with all of our bags. We didn’t know to walk to the hotel, check in, and they would come get our outfit us.

Beautiful San Marino

Hotel Titano was the highlight of our two week holiday in Italy. Dan at the front desk was very professional, helpful, friendly and courteous. He offered us to upgrade our room at our expense which we did and was not disappointed. The view was breathtaking. We stayed three nights and loved every moment. The hotel being in the heart of old town San Marino was walking distance to the entire old town.

The town is steep! If it’s a problem, they will pick you up from the bus with a golf cart. We didn’t know this but when checking in we’re informed so used their help when we left. Probably the softest bed I’ve slept on in 3 weeks. Very comfortable and the staff were kind, helpful and friendly.

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is incredible in the old town but worth noting it is a decent climb from where the shuttle bus from Rimini drops you off. There can be a bit of noise from stores and restaurants setting up in the morning. Nothing huge but if you’re a very light sleeper you might wake early. The upside is you get to explore the old town in the morning and evening when there aren’t any tourists and the streets are clear. Wonderful stay in San Marino.

Hotel is lovely, staff are really nice but was left feeling a bit mis-sold. The Classic room we received looked nothing like the room we believed we were getting. The pictures we saw on the website and booking sites are completely different and of a much higher standard to the room we got.

Well …this property was nice and they have a great breakfast but we encountered a problem with canceling the last night. The admin was so rigid on their cancellation policy, even with Orbitz supervisor calling, we had to pay for the last night we weren’t there. So we are torn on this property but it was nice and most of the front desk staff was great. Close to the duomo and train station.

This hotel is beautiful and in the most gorgeous setting of the historic centre of San Marino. The staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good and the hotel restaurant has great food with an amazing view. The car is parked at their sister hotel in an underground garage and you can either walk or get the hotel groups private buggy to take you for access.
The rooms are lovely, as a world heritage site it has to be maintained with original features which makes it charming - the only downside is the tiny bathroom however that can be forgiven because of the beauty of the place. We will be back and I highly recommend a stay here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making check-in and every interaction seamless and pleasant. The room was espacious and comfortable. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant, where we enjoyed not only a high quality meal but also a stunning view of the sunset. The location is also perfect as it's at the center of all San Marino's attractions. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it!

Authentic hotel right in the heart of San Marino city.
Pros - big room,comfortable bed, decent breakfast, looked after our luggage when we checked out.
Cons - room was pretty basic and there was confusion upon check-in - was told we could have an upgrade for a nominal fee and when we accepted we were told the price would be a lot higher. Also, our room was right by the bell tower that rings every 15 minutes- so I'd advise asking for a room away from there.
All in all a great location for a stay in SM.

A nice choice in San Marino, right in the thick of things with a good rooftop restaurant. The design was a bit hit or miss - it was almost as if they were halfway through a renovation. Cool wallpaper and modern bathrooms in the rooms, but frumpy old bedspreads and nightstands. Breakfast was good, and service was friendly. Overall recommended.

We stayed here in Sept of 2016, and it was the one place we wanted to return to on our trip in 2020. Unfortunately, Covid prevented that. We had prepaid, and I contacted Many times trying to either have the reservation postponed, or a refund. (We could Not travel there anyhow with restrictions both from the US And San Marino.) After many attempts, we were given a voucher for the second night, but lost nearly $250 we had prepaid for the first night’s 2 rooms. We are so disappointed with this service.

The only issue was noise from restaurant upstairs, which made it impossible to sleep, this was do to a party, but it was more from when restaurant was cleaning up and dragging chairs and tables across the floor, this would also happen in the morning. I thought it was from breakfast area, but it was not, no one eating breakfast, and sure enough the noise was present there also. The staff tried to rectify the situation,but you never get that lost sleep back. Be aware staying In the suites below la terazza

Was forced to move to their sister property due to \"emergency maintenance\" -- sadly the other hotel was not really good. Good staff, but the property should have been renovated 15 years ago. Lack of power sockets sure didn't help, just lacking in modern needs. Again, would have been great 15-20 years ago.

Please note: Hotel Titano was closed, prior to my stay due to a major maintenance situation. I received an e mail telling me of this a few days before my departure for Europe. But not to worry folks. I was booked into their sister hotel \"The Grand Hotel San Marino\". Top notch place, great room, great breakfast, Stefano at the front desk bent over backwards to help customers and keep the hotel running like a well oiled machine. If the two hotels are under the same management Hotel Titano is probably number one too. I would stay there in a heartbeat.

This is probably one of the oldest hotels in San Marino situated within the city gate so a bit of a walk from the nearest car park. Help was offered with our luggage Room was excellent for the price and the bathroom outstanding.
Staff helpful and good English Breakfast had a great range of food.

We ended up getting a free upgrade to a suite and it was absolutely beautiful. Brand new, spatious and had the best bathroom, living room area and views. Staff were very professional, parked our car for us in the car park

We stop at this hotel every visit to San Marino. The hotel corresponds to all the above parameters, it is excellent for all tourists. Excellent location, room, service, chic breakfast with great views. There is no Russian speaking staff, but all this is not noticeable with the overall excellent characteristics of the hotel.

Wonderful stay in a magical town.

Hotel Titano was a great find. The room for the three of us was perfect and we loved it. We had a balcony to the plazza Titano and that got a little noisy but calmed down quickly at night. I would stay there again. The hotel is going through some improvements so it got a little noisy in the morning but we are still very happy with our stay. Actually we decided to stay a second night. And the location is perfect! If you have never been to San Marino - be ready for a treat!

The noisiest room I have ever stayed in. Usually I am a sound sleeper; at this hotel I spent two sleepless nights!! All through the night I could hear anyone passing by or taking the stairs very loudly in the room. From 5 am onward I could hear all the personnel unloading .anything and everything with very loud banging/crashing noises. A miserable experience.

I only realised the hotel provided a buggy ride from the bus station after I'd slogged up the hill with my luggage. Tip 1: Arrange for your ride up the hill with the hotel before you arrive. Breakfast was good but the coffee awful. No matter. Tip 2: Cafe Titano around the corner will make any coffee you like and opens at 7.30am. A continental breakfast there would be cheaper than the hotel.

This hotel's location is ideal to enjoy The sights of San Morino, but the lady at the front desk was cold and unaccomodating, the room cramped, the smallest we have every stayed in. The air conditioning was not working when we arrived and it took an hour to fix it (it was my husband who figured out the problem before anyone from the hotel came to the room). It was a disappointing stay.

Good location within the old walled village

We appreciated the location of this hotel. It is located within the old walled village. While many would appreciate the excellent location and clean rooms, the fact that it is within the walls means that noise echos from the street into the room. If you can deal with this reality, then the hotel is fine. Ask for a room on an upper floor. We were on the -0 floor. Our room window opened up to a view of the wall across the street and some red tile roofs. This would be picturesque but we know that rooms higher up would have a view of the beautiful valley below as well as the red tile roofs. Breakfast was adequate. Bathroom was clean, tastefully modern, and roomier that I would have expected for this older construction.

The hotel s great but very noisy. Old walls and loud people do not mix. The beds were great and the room was well appointed. Hotel restaurant is worth the stay. View and food were amazing.
Park your car in one of the upper lots los like 7 and walk to the hotel. They will then arrange to bring your luggage over for you.
