This ain't no 4 star deluxe resort hotel.

Decent staff save for the CEO which we will get back to, an inviting pool deck, nice area to stay. That's all the positives. On arrival we were given an alternative room in the annex blding not the jnr suite booked which had a separate area for 15 yr old son on dble sofa bed. This room had no view, on ground floor, claustrophobic, small & dark & son on a roll-away at end of our bed. We couldn't see the room booked as already sold on. Given 2 small rooms on 5th Flr. Sons stank of food coming up from A/C unit & had warped floor by window which shook glass on table. Our A/C didn't wk, as room v.hot. Asst Man came up to see issues with technician. Was allegedly fixed when we went out. Son had filter added to A/C. Our room still hot & didn't sleep that night.& leaking water now coming from unit on floor the next day. CEO saw wife and accused son of putting water on floor even tho technician got soaked trying to fix day before. Said we were troublesome - surely for £370/night a fully functioning room is std? This is no way a 4* delux hotel. No tea/coffee in room, 6 Euro extra for fresh OJ at B'fast. Poor internet. Nonchalant attitude by CEO prob because popular resort for 3 months of yr for locals and she was sold out for the summer. Asst Man Raphaella and 2 male managers tried to help as they understood issues.

Excellent staff, close to the beach.

Modern boutique upscale hotel a few blocks from the beach. Everyone bikes in Italy so our family of 4 used the hotel bikes to get around. 5 min bike ride to the beach. We even biked 4 miles each night to dinner and shopping in nearby posh town of Forte de Marmi. Staff was excellent. Enjoyed breakfast. Four in any hotel room can be tight but we made the best of it, besides we only were in our rooms to sleep.

Great spa hotel by the beach!

Great hotel with good features and great local area. The service from the hotel staff was absolutely fantastic!! The hotel itself is just a few mins walk from the beach which has a great selection of hotels and restaurants - surprisingly the beach was reasonably quiet which was ideal for us! We used the spa facilities which were also very good - definitely recommend!

Great base in Marina DI Pietrasanta

Loved the hotel. Great base for beach and town, and nice pool and pool deck. We loved their beach connection at Prima Verra. Great base for driving day trips to so many places (and Pietrasanta is charming too). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff. My wife got banged up when she was bicycling and the staff took the time every day to ask how she was doing.Appreciated the fact all staff members remembered her name. Good was fantastic. Highly recommend.

too pretentiously over designed - and fancied itself as something it wasn't!

The hotel is very nice and we enjoyed our one!

Myself and my wife enjoyed the hotel and we appreciated the professional staff who were very attentive. The room however was VERY small. We were walking into each other and bumping into our luggage. Be prepared or reserve a lathered room than a \"deluxe\". The staff reccemded a great restaurant Osteria di Mare by the beach and gave us a ride back and forth for eight euros (worth it). The room smelled so good from the diffuser that we purchased two for our home. The pool was very nice but get there early for chairs and an umbrella as they go fast.

Lovely stylish hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an arrangement with a lovely beach establishment . 50 euros a day for 2 deckchairs , 2 beds , I directors chair and a table with a lockable cabinet underneath . All under a gazebo. Excellent value. Lovely area with plenty of reasonable restaurants serving great food in walking distance.

Great value for money, friendly helpful staff

Great service and really helpful staff.
Good facilities including the spa which is such a perk! The Hotel and pool area was really peaceful which was just what we wanted!!

The Decor in the restaurant is a little tacky....Although the food there was delicious!. Only glitch was that our aircon didn't work on the first night...although this was quickly resolved by the team!

We will certainly be coming back next year!

Beautiful place, need service improvement.

Beautiful facility, very clean, 2 blocks from beach. There are no beach front properties in the area, as all beaches are privately owned, which will rent you a cabana. Service was spotty. ALEXANDRA saved the day. Excellent English, got things done, superb restaurant recommendations. Had to wait 30 minutes to get a drink by the pool. Towels not readily available. Felt like we were interupting their work when we asked for such things. Might have been short staffed. Thought one more staff at the pool would resolved these kinds of issues.

Beautiful View

Hotel location is best suited to travellers by car, however, it is quite easy to get to Pietrasanta by train - then by bus to Marina de Pietrasanta. Finding the hotel was a bit difficult. Emails to hotel were unanswered. N.B There is no indoor pool! Beautiful views of mountains combined with continuous beach and long pier and walkway out into the sea. Two markets in close proximity - Forte di Marmi and Lido de Cameliere. Forte di Marmi has very good quality goods. Unless you go at 7 a.m. there is no other bus until 12:45 and the market finishes at 1:00 o'clock! Very good quality items on offer including leathers, furs etc. Other market was the usual type with cheaper goods on sale. No haggling. We visited nearby Viareggio by bus - lovely area. Travel by train was excellent and inexpensive. Information at stations excellent. We travelled easily to Florence, Pisa and Livorno. website. The breakfast (although possibly minimal) was lovely with beautiful coffee. Steamroom and hot tub - nothing special - but it incurs a charge. Limited choice in hotel restaurant. Overall enjoyed our stay. Very, very clean but in our opinion - not a four star.

Great spa hotel

The owners became my friends. Massimo was the former mayor of the area for a decade. Every evening I would ask him to recommend a restaurant closeby and he would personally call the owner of the restaurant and feed the address into my tomtom. I would receive fantastic service at the restaurants.the spa is new and the rain and breeze functions in the steam hamam is something I've never experienced before.brill

Fantastic hotel, we plan to return!

We had a great couple of nights here. The hotel is modern but with real character and attention to detail. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and had great facilities. It was nice and quiet too.

We had a great meal in the restaurant. It really was fantastic food and the service was spot on. Attentive and friendly but never 'too much' It's not cheap by any standards but very good food and a good choice available. The menu was only available in Italian which was a bit of a challenge but not really a problem.

We plan to return in the summer, when it's not raining. I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone. It's excellent.

Albergo nuovo ben arredato con piacevole piccola piscina, personale accogliente specie i manutentori e il concierge, stanza troppo piccola e rumorosa a causa di porta comunicante con altra stanza; lavello del bagno minuscolo, colazione non all’altezza del prezzo e non ben organizzata come assistenza del personale, parcheggio a pagamento non coperto e troppo piccolo. Costo complessivo non adeguato ai servizi.

La struttura è comoda con piccola spa carina e bellissima piscina in giardino esterno. Il ristorante è molto bello e le camere con vista mare sono altrettanto piacevoli. In alcune cose un pochino démodé, ma complessivamente nulla da eccepire. Un ottimo soggiorno.

Gutes Resort mit sehr nettem Personal. Die Lage ist sehr gut.
Einige Services wurden aber wegen Covid-19 nicht angeboten (kein Spa, kein beheizter Pool, reduzierter Restaurantbetrieb, usw.). Es wurde bei der Buchung nirgends darauf hingewiesen, dass diverse Services nicht angeboten werden.

Feels like Plattenbau

Name und Bilder täuschen, das Hotel ist eher klein bis mittelgross und nicht diese Art Spa Ressorts, wie man es etwa aus den Alpen kennt. Viel eher erinnern Art, Bau und Qualität an Urlaub im Block - da ist kein Extra, kaum einer gibt sich Mühe und kein Komfort wird geboten (nur ein kleiner Aussenpool, der Rest ist zu).

Konkret:

Positiv:
- schönes Entree
- teils beschattete Parkplätze

Negativ:
- Kleine, spärliche Zimmer. Die sogenannte Junior Suite entsprach einem ganz normalen Zimmer, auch ohne die üblichen Extras, die man sonst in diesen Zimmern erwarten könnte.
- Enorm hellhörig: von überall scheppert und schallt es bis tief in die Nacht.
- das Frühstück ist eine Katastrophe. Kaum Auswahl, Brot ständig aus, Kaffee lässt ewig auf sich warten, übervoller kleiner Saal...trotz Corona und obwohl das Hotel nebendran einem viel grösseren Saal hätte.
- unfreundliche, lustlose Mitarbeiter; mit Ausnahme einer der Frühstückhelfer, der sich alle Mühe gibt.
- gute Aussicht nur in Etage 4 und 5; und auch dort nur in den nach vorne gerichteten Zimmern.

Tipp: macht nicht den gleichen Fehler wie wir. In der Umgebung ist Qualität schwer zu finden - viele 3Sterne-Häuser sind diesem hier aber weit überlegen.
