Comfortable bed. Booked large double.
Room was small but we were only there one night.
We arrived after midnight and there was zero water pressure. No hot water which can sometimes be expected but a dribble of cold. Fortunately it wasn’t the summer!
All was fine in the morning.
We were on the top floor ( the roof) which was accessed by a lift only , no stairs. Fire exit situation did concern me.

Staff are very friendly and helpful - online check in simple and can store bags if early to check in / late flights when checking out. Room booked was labelled basic - perfect description. Did the job for our stay, only used to sleep and get ready. Bathroom and bedding items could have been a little cleaner.
Very close to city centre so perfect for staying in the heart of Malaga & travelling around.
Overall, did the job we needed it to.

We stayed at this hotel for four days at the top floor. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The room had only one small bin located in the bathroom, which was inconvenient for a five day stay.

Despite placing the sign to have our room cleaned on the second and third day no housekeeping service was provided during our entire stay. This lack of attention to basic guest needs was frustrating and affect our comfort.
No receptionist to raise our request.
Wifi is the slowest in the world only in the reception can get a signal another frustrating experience.

The water pressure in the room is very slow which made showering and using the sink quite inconvenient.

Overall, I will not recommend this place it’s a nightmare experience from us.

Hannah and the team are very friendly one of the highlights of our trip. the room is small but very clean. everything is working and in very good condition from hair dryer to air con. free filtered water and hot water and instant coffee and tea in the lobby area. We will definitely book again.

Amazing stay ! And amazing staff (specially Dina)

Best service I have ever experienced so far ! Specially Dina was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my stay were super comfortable and helped me alot around Malaga area and attractions. Room was perfect and very quiet, bed was super comfortable. Mini bar fridge was cherry on the top as it was too hot and I kept my drink there. Right in the middle of centre ! Everything was so close. Loved it and definitely will and only stay there for my future visit.

Great hotel and the location, for me, is in the best part of the city.

A big mention to the hotel staff, who were all lovely, but a special shout out to the incredibly kind, friendly and caring lady manning reception who was just amazing throughout our stay and especially during the national power outage.

The hotel was well located and the bed was super comfortable. I believe the room had been revamped a couple of years ago and so due to expected wear and tear is looking a bit tired in places. We arrived late(11pm) and left at 10am the next day so never saw any staff. But the self check in was well explained and easy to do.

Lots of places to eat nearby, walkable to central Malaga. Tapas bar next door was great.

The property was near to all shops and restaurants, just.around the corner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was in walking distance to Picasso's house, and museum, a Roman amphitheater and walls, and also within easy walking distance to the Port and beach. I would definitely stay there again.

The loacation was fantastic. Everything from bars restaurants museums and beach all within easy walking distance. Victor was great. Really helpful and knowledgeable. They’re doing roadworks all along the street that the hotel is on but they don’t cause a problem. My only suggestion would be a safe in the room. Malaga is a beautiful safe city. I’d definitely be visiting again.

Very large room renovated completely in late 2022. Receptionist Victor was very helpful, charming and cheerful. I was thinking to stay again but NO the wifi is so slow- not movies -just Facebook and websites. Come on . You spent a pile of money on a beautiful renovation, and then buy crappy, limited wifi routers.

Really nice place! They're currently doing the hostel up to turn it into a hotel, and our room had been completed. The room was really modern and comfortable with lovely decor. Also a great location. The only issue was the shower overflowed when we used the bigger showerhead.

Negative:
No heating in the room or any other heating option provided except second blanket, and taking into account that the windows (and the place in general) is super old, it's very cold in the winter.
Rooms have very thin walls and you can hear every single noise from outside like there are no doors at all.

No hot water in the kitchen to clean the dishes, which in combination with the lack of heating in the hostel it's a very negative sign.

The showers are not very clean.
There is only one for woman and one for men placed in different floors, but no one is respecting the rules and it might happened that men are way too bored to get one floor down and use the women showers (zero control from property's side), therefore is not very safe to have a shower in a women's showers.
The water pressure in the showers is super low and not working properly. Some of the shower phones are damaged and seems that are not replaced for several years now.
You need to wait for several minutes until the hot water runs.
The light is with sensors and it's switching off every 4 min, therefore if you are in the shower and didn't have time to have a shower in the specific amount of time the light will simply switch off and you need to get out of the shower, walk towards the door to enable the sensors and the light (remember, no heating and men are using same showers).

Very disappointing.

The staff are very friendly. There were two helpful males and a very nice lady. However, the hostel is not ideal for someone who is travelling alone and hopes to connect with others. The bathrooms are very small, so if you're nervous in tiny spaces, probably not the hostel for you. I think what the hostel has going for them is the staff and its location. It's conveniently located near everything that matters. They do try to keep the place clean and require a one euro deposit for the key. The deposit is returned to you once you leave. There is no hang out or commons area.

This was a pretty bad hostel, the girl's dorm had 4 bunk beds and no lock on the door, extremely noisy all throughout the night with shouting from the street and the lobby.

The beds were very low quality, shakey and creaky.

Location was good, late check in was good and the guy on the desk was very helpful.

Situated at the skirt of old downtown, so it is noisy. Old bunk beds that is difficult to sit up to. I even bend with my head out when sitting down to chat with others. Door of either room and bathroom does not close. Bathroom is clean but very little room for manoeuvre. No plug for phone recharge bu my bed. Building is old.

Great location but too noisy

Quite a slow check in but the staff were very helpful. Strong smell of tobacco and foist in the reception however the room was ok.

Big spacious room, but was very noisy with local building work, cars beeping and people coming out of bars. Helpful with a small shop across the road, along with constant taxies awaiting over the road. centre of Malaga literally a few minutes walk.

Fick en vindsvåning längst upp med 2 våningar med endast träpanel som tak i sovrummet. På natten blev det väldigt kallt och värmen från luftkonditioneringen räckte inte till att värma upp rummet. Fick sova med kläder på. Toalett och nedanvåning var iskalla.

Victor, war total nett und zuvorkommend. Durch Flug Verspätung konnten wir erst in der Nacht einchecken. Was überhaupt kein Problem darstellte und er uns schnell und einfach alles erklärte.
Unterkunft super central im Norden der Altstadt. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Aber leider wird auf Sauberkeit und Komfort kein Wert gelegt. Dachzimmer war an der Decke schon Schimmel und durch die Wand waren Risse und man konnte nach draußen schauen. Haare vom vormieter im Bett und Bad. Sogar auf dem abstelleck am Bett noch abgeschmierte Reste vom Vormieter.

Für 1-2 Nächte nur zum schlafend in Ordnung. Ohne viel Anspruch.

Hotell med fin beliggenhet, men støy fra bygging.

Victor i resepsjonen sjekket inn for oss, jeg foretrekker å slippe den jobben på ferie. Hotellet har fin beliggenhet,ca. 150m. fra parkeringshus. Kort avstand både til restaurantene og arkitekturen i den gamle bydelen, men også til den bilfrie gaten Larios og shoppingområdet derfra til El Corte Ingles.
Vi fikk et greit loftsrom i norsk 5.etg. med bad og sittegruppe i etasjen under, men med heis og ett trapperom oppover uten annen nødutgang, var vi glad det ikke ble brann. Ville insistert på rom i lavere etasje hvis vi skulle bo der igjen.
Synd for hotellet at byggerne på nabotomta jobbet med nybygg og mye støy fra vi sjekket inn kl. 15 til kl. 11.30 om kvelden. Ikke mulig å sove, og vi hadde kjørt langt.
Aircondition sto på da vi kom, deilig og svalt. God seng og delikat sengetøy.
Utsjekking gikk greit.
