The rooms was clean but the bed os way too small. If you are taller than 165 cm you won't sleep comfortably on the bed. You could easily here evey sound from outside of the room which was disturbing my sleep, but overall an ok choice for the price and if you only need a short stay. Very cute lounge area.

I didn’t eat breakfast at the Hostel or use the laundry service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As a single mature lady I felt very safe.
The only thing was I wish I had booked a lower pod as I struggled with having to climb the ladder. Only 1 plug socket in the pod next to bed. But I would happily stay there again. Thank you so much. Clean and tidy and safe. With good vibes.

Excellent first hostel experience — I will definitely be back!

As a 52-year-old solo traveler from Canada, I was honestly hesitant at first. I wondered if hostels were mostly for younger travelers and whether I would fit in. I booked a private room for two nights… and ended up extending my stay multiple times! I even returned after visiting Nerja because I enjoyed it so much. I truly would have stayed longer if I could.

What made this place so special was the amazing sense of community and how easy it was to meet people. The entire experience felt welcoming, fun, and very well organized.

Highlights of my stay:

• Perfect location — walking distance to all the main landmarks, restaurants, bars, and nightlife in Málaga.

• Incredible community atmosphere with lots of opportunities to connect with other travelers.

• Free nightly workshops and activities, plus optional paid activities. I joined a lovely painting workshop with unlimited wine and had such a memorable time.

• Complimentary amenities including coffee, tea, water, and sangria.

• Beautifully decorated, spotless, and very comfortable spaces.

• Super friendly, caring, and helpful staff who made me feel at home from day one.

• Free luggage storage, even while I traveled away for two days.

• Convenient on-site laundry facilities (€4 wash / €4 dry).

• Free access to their sister hostel with rooftop pool !

I like the idea of the pod. Was my first time in an hostel. It was very clean, well maintained. I never had to fight for shower or bathroom. There was 8 pods for two showers and two bathroom. I liked that the showers had a door that lock from ceiling to floor. More privacy than just a shower curtains. I had a windows in my pod. As it is in a very busy street and area, a lot of noise until 3pm. But got used to it quickly. The worse noise was coming from other guests slamming their doors in the middle of the night (every time of the day really). Or speaking loudly at night, even using hair dryer past midnight... it's an hostel after all. You can't expect other guests to be considerate for other guests. Overall, if you are on a budget, I would recommend COEO pod hostel. Location is good, safe, clean and well maintain.

Clean room, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. It's in the middle of the historic town providing easy access to all the sites and the beach too. The pod within the room provided a sense of privacy, which is great but just be mindful that there are some guests who doesn't have the necessary consideration with their heavy handedness with the doors or being noisy...it is still a hostel after all. I was there for just over a week and really enjoyed my stay.

My family (4 adults) stayed in Coeo for our one night in Malaga. The location is perfect. Easy walk to restaurants and area attractions. Far enough off the main drag for quiet sleeping. We had a family room which wasn't large but it used space well.

We also enjoyed the 8 euro breakfast in the morning. I'll stay here again!

Just a place to sleep

Overall, this wasn’t a bad place to stay as a solo traveler. The location was perfectly situated in downtown Malaga and was very walkable. The shared areas were kept clean and had a boho-type feel to it. The rooms were tiny (if you did a private room)— had to play Tetris to fit 2 suitcases in the room. I took off stars because the wire shelves for clothes in my room was disgusting. Brown crusted something all over the entire thing—not rust. Personally I wouldn’t stay here again, but I think if your a solo traveler that packed light and only need a bed, it works.

A great budget-ish place for young travellers. Pods are quiet enough and generally in good condition.

However the desk dont seem to have socket for working on laptop etc so you ll need to go go the communal areas for that. The stairs to climb up is a particular failure because the ladders are quite thin without much for the feet to balance on. Nevertheless, the location is perfect and the property generally feels well run and looked after despite some occasional scratch marks on walls. Staff are very friendly and there is a lift available to get to other floors

Great hostel option, outstanding experience

Great way to stay in a hostel, but still able to reserve some privacy of having my own private room, just sharing the toilet, kitchen and common area. The room is cozy, good ac and comfy bed, noise insulation isn’t so great though but I did have some good sleep with my ear plugs.

The reception girl was so nice and friendly, we had a lovely chat and she was so kind to take me to my room and showed me around.

The experience team has also spent a lots of effort with bringing the guests together with welcome drinks and game nights, I have met some great people at Trivia night, I wish I could stay longer!

As a solo traveller looking to explore the area for 48 hours this accommodation provided the ideal base. I booked a lower double pod. I did not plan to spend much time in the hotel so the compact room was fine.

What I liked:
- The bed was comfy and the lack of windows meant it was dark and I got a good nights sleep.
- The shared toilets, sinks and showers were always clean and available - I never had to queue despite the fact 8 rooms (upto 14 people) could have been sharing them.
- Very little noise from neighbouring rooms.

Where it could improve:
- The room needed minor maintenance. The walls were worn and where screws had been removed the touchup was in a different colour
- The aircon temperature was controlled centrally for all rooms. I found the room too hot in the day
- The room only had one physical plug socket and this was at the back of the bed. Whilst the room had 2x USB-A plugs all my devices use USB-C or plugs. The plug socket was unreliable for charging and items had larger items had to stay on the bed whilst charging. Extra sockets are definitely needed in the room.
- There was an odd smell in the room, despite the corridors smelling clean.
- Room lights had energy saving mode and automatically switched off whilst lounging on the bed. This was very annoying as I waited for devices to charge.

Overall the hostel worked for me the limited time I was visiting Malaga but I would not recommend it for couples or people wanting to relax in the room.

Clean, modern, very comfortable beds. Almost like an upscale pod hostel! The bar downstairs is nice too. The hostel is located in the main tourist area of Malaga so everything is pricey around that area, you'll need to ask staff recommemdations for budget restaurants. Short 5-10 minute walks to the Alcazaba, the Cathedral, Picassos museum, Larios street. Not that close to the airport (you'll have to walk 10-15 mins then take the bus or train) but its close to the intercity train and bus stations. Overall I really recommend it!

Stayed for three nights across a long weekend for the marathon. Location is great, short walk to the train to/from the airport and close to the beach/harbour as well. Pods are certainly small/cosy, but have everything you need. Toilet facilities and showers are well maintained. Common spaces are great, and were often quiet when I was there, with space and the facilities (fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave — all in a kitchenette) to make food and chill out there. Staff were super helpful, my Spanish is awful but they made me feel very at home. Well worth the money!

For the price it is so worth it! As a solo woman travelling I was very weary about staying somewhere that wasn’t safe but this place is so secure. You must have a keycard to access the unit where your pod is, as well as a key card for your specific pod. The whole property was extremely clean. Also made me feel safe knowing there is 24/7 desk support.
Front desk also help with booking airport transfers and directions to places.

The showers are private and you are only sharing with people in your unit. There is also a private area WITHIN the shower where you can get dressed if you’re not comfortable walking around your unit in a towel. Toilets were also very large and clean.

It was also a safe space to meet people during my travels. They have a cute little meet up night every evening and it’s such a great opportunity to chat with other travellers.

Lastly, the location is right in the city centre and everywhere is very walkable. During my entire trip I only ordered a taxi to get me to and from the airport. Other than that I walked most of the way.

Overall really amazing place to stay. Staff are so helpful and friendly too.

From the welcome to the farewell was amazing - the staff were attentive to every need and the Hostel itself is unique and full of love - the decor is fresh, modern with a twist of spirituality-the pods are quaint - clean and everything you need from a stay - the icing on the cake - the cherry being the location - close to everything I wanted to see, with the beach within walking distance -

予約した部屋は2段ポットの下段という説明でしたが実際はシングルの個室だったのがよかったです。ウェルカムドリンクのサングリアに飲み放題のコーヒーマシンもありました。ただシャワールームが狭くて衣服を置く場所もなく使いづらかったのが残念でした。あと朝の6時に外が騒がしくて起こされたのも嫌でした。

Proche des transports et à moins de 10 minutes à pied de la navette de l'aéroport.
Chaîne d'hostels que nous connaissons très bien et que nosu apprécions beaucoup pour le calme, la propreté et les services offerts.
Très bonne literie.
Possibilité de prendre un petit déjeuner pour 8 euros.
Cuisine disponible pour préparer ses repas.
Machine a café disponible à volonté.
Le seul point négatif relevé est que les chambres ne sont pas faites...

Das Frühstück ist ok, aber sicherlich draußen besser (6 € reicht für einen Kaffee und ein Stück vom lokalen Bäcker). Pod Sauberkeit hätte besser sein können - Duschen und Toiletten waren normal sauber.
Für unter 50 € würde ich wieder buchen, Preise darüber finde ich zu viel.
Das angekündigte Upgrade wurde weder angesprochen noch habe ich eins erhalten.

Ostello centralissimo, offre stanza senza bagno. La posizione porta ad essere nel pieno della movida, rumori e schiamazzi tutta la notte. Non a casa al check in danno tappi per le orecchie!!! I pod a gruppi di 7 hanno 1 bagno uomo e 1 donna, due docce e 2 lavandini. Pochi...aria condizionata ok. Non c'è spazio per valige in stanza.

Das meiste war in Ordnung aber ich habe Bisse gekriegt (wahrscheinlich Bettwanzen) und das wurde nicht ernstgenommen. Sie haben mir mehrmals gesagt, dass es sicher nur Gelsenstiche sind, aber die Bisse sehen anders aus und sind immer noch ersichtlich. Schade, dass sie meine Angelegenheit nicht ernstgenommen haben.

El mejor hostel en el que he estado. Tener habitación privada y a la vez estar en un espacio donde puedes estar con otros viajeros y participar en múltiples actividades me ha parecido genial. Las instalaciones estaban perfectas y todo super limpio. El pod aunque es pequeño es suficiente para una persona. Me sorprendió que a pesar de haber varios huéspedes no había nada de ruido, así que se duerme genial. El personal muy atento y amable.La localización en pleno centro es fabulosa para poder recorrer los lugares más turísticos, además no queda lejos del puerto. Muy satisfecha con la experiencia allí
