The Aretousa Villas are outstanding.
They are very conveniently located in the charming village of Perissa in a quiet setting and are of a very high standard, including a well maintained swimming pool.

The cleanliness of the Aretousa cannot be faulted-rooms are cleaned everyday to a very high standard and towels are also replaced daily.

All of the staff are extremely friendly, polite and very hard working and the owners could not be more kind and hospitable.
Aretousa Villas are located within a few minutes of both a well stocked mini market and bakery, as well as the beach. There are several gift shops, larger supermarkets and good tavernas and restaurants within a ten minute walk.

There are bus stops within a few minutes walk and public transport in Perissa is excellent with regular buses every day, including Sunday. It is also very cheap to travel on buses- a single adult ticket, for example, from Perissa to the capital Fira is 2.50 Euros.

My partner and I have now stayed at the Aretousa Villas twice, on each occasion for two weeks, and would have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

The staff Jacob and his wife were great hosts couldn't do enough to make the stay a great experience. The room was comfortable clean and tidy towels changed daily and sheets every other day. The bed was comfy and the fride and kettle and kitchenette were a god send. The balcony was nice bathroom ok needs updating the shower worked ok but was small area shower curtain kept sticking to the body. Otherwise a lovely room. The small pool was great and needed it as sometimes the beach was windy and did not always feel safe going in the sea as rocks were slippy

Amazing and very affordable stay! Down the road to perissa beach and in-between 2 bus stations that head regular to fira. Away from the crowd with the best seafood restaurant on the island with stunning views of the beach.

Staying here was like staying with family and I will definitely be back. The service was friendly and warm, made my first trip to Santorini memorable

Probably the best hotel out of 9 so far on the islands and mainland. Quite location and friendly family run hotel with pool. Beach, shopping, dining all walking distance. Bus stop handy to Fira and Oia. Nice to get back after those crazy days. Kitchen with induction cooktop was a bonus.

My sisters and I recently stayed at a wonderful villa in Santorini, and our experience was truly exceptional. The owners of the villa were the nicest couple we have ever met. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, always eager to assist us with anything we needed.

The villa itself was immaculate and beautifully maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing us with a cozy retreat after our days of exploration. The pool area was another highlight, offering a serene and relaxing space to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Santorini weather.

The location of the villa was perfect for us. It was just a short walk to the beach, and there were plenty of stores nearby for any essentials we needed. One of our favorite spots was Balance Coffee, which served the nicest coffee we've had in a long time.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Santorini.

Jacob was such a sweet host. He helped arrange our pick up from the airport, and even though we were delayed 3 hours, the driver was still there. Jacob was standing on the porch waiting for us to arrive.
This is a family owned pproperty, and Jacob gave us great suggestions for restaurants. It is very close to the bus stop, a 24 hour bakery, and the black sand beach. it was very convenient to stay here and get around.

Unmissable Stay

The hospitality was second to none. The whole family who ran the villa was warm, friendly, and willing to go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Jacob was very helpful in telling us things about the island, activities and trips to take, and the best restaurants (and he was not wrong!). The property is a 5 minute walk to the black sand beach where I spent every single day of my visit. It’s a quiet little stroll with adorable shops and good restaurants.

It was very easy to organize an airport shuttle with them to and from the airport to avoid having to figure it out myself or take a taxi which would have cost more. Overall, this is an unmissable stay and I wouldn’t choose to stay anywhere else when I come back.

Perfect Stay Close to the Beach

We loved our stay.
The accommodation had everything we needed including a fridge and kettle a little romantic balcony.
Excellent location very peaceful and only 3mins to the beach and all the restaurants and bars.
There is a bakery at the end of the road with lovely greek pastries.

Good sized room.. Dual layer. Clean.. Nice.
Breakfast was OK.. The lady serving us did great.
Pool is not attractive.. Too small and water is really cold.
Close to the beach and several restaurants but we were happy having rented a car allowing us to go anywhere. Basically we only slept at the hotel.. Using it as our base for daytrips.
Family room is good value. If you are with 1 kid at most we would recommend kamari beach instead.

Couldn't be happier. 5 minute walk to the beach with endless choices for food, drinks and shops. Fira and Oia are beautiful but if you're looking for hospitality, Perissa is the place to be. Great black sand beach with tons of beach bars that have loungers and umbrellas. As far as the hotel, it was wonderful. Clean as could be. We had a \"basement\" room but it had a kitchenette and patio. Just lovely. The hosts were so nice. Like staying with family with none of the negatives. Market on the corner and a fabulous 24 hour bakery a block or so away. I travel a lot and this was truly a wonderful experience. They also offer transport to the airport for $25. Google maps say it's only 3 miles but it's around the mountain. Cabs run 35 and up.

What an amazing hotel in Perissa, starting with communication with Debbie, she's great, I kept emailing her and she kept answering back, she's a sweetheart, she offer airport pick up at a cheaper price, her dad picked us up and even gave us minor tour of the island.
Anything you asked Debbie she would go out of the way to help us, she even helped us book a 5hr Catamaran Sunset Sail for much less than us doing it by ourselves.
This is a family hotel but they don't stay near the guest rooms.

This facilities are just beautiful, the backdrop is the monastery and the church with the 3 bells in Perissa, the rooms were spotless, drop dead beautiful cave type room, we stay in one of the top rooms, we had a balcony all to ourselves plus a shared terrace.
Probably the best rooms for couples, AC worked great, hot water was on point and the beach was a 5 minutes walk.
Nearby you have a 24 bakery, a mini market and plenty of restaurants options.
Overall, Aretousa Villas was a great value, there's also free WiFi which works better by the pool, oh yes the salt water pool with plenty of chairs and trees for tanning or just relaxing.
They also offer breakfast for cheap.

Lovely family run hotel very clean Debbie cannot do enough for you without being too pushy. Very close to small shop and bakery which opens 24/7 so be prepared you will put pounds on. Short walk to the beach. Room was very spacious but don't book the semi basement if you want a balcony with a view upgrade to one of the higher up rooms although for 4 nights we didn't mind. Pool area small but clean and did the job of cooling you off on a hot day. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Would recommend for a short stay

Had a wonderful time. The owner and his wife were very nice to us, he came to pick us up at the port at our arrival and brought us to the airport at our departure. On an other night the owner offered us a glass of his own, self made wine and we spoke for about an hour, he recommended a couple of restaurants for us to try and we did and enjoyed them a lot. The room was clean and comfy, the pool was nice as well and the location was perfect! Perissa is a to us the best place to stay is Santorini.

Quiet hotel close to the beach

Our experience of the hotel was just as we expected for the low price we paid. The hotel is run by a small family who are really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy with air conditioning included. The bathroom is a little small, with a bit of a cramped shower cubicle and no bracket to hold the shower head above you, this was only a small negative though. The location of the hotel is really good, off of the main roads it is quiet and is close to the beach and restaurants. We would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a simple hotel with no frills.

I can only comment on the basic room which was on the top floor. Comparing this to other hotels in the same area on the same budget this was not great. The main issue was not being able to stand up with the arch roof. The toilet was in the shower. You had to do both at the same time. If you wanted to use the toilet later you had to walk back in the water and dry the toilet to use it. Staff were ok but not that friendly. Wouldn't recommend to friends.

We were there for only a few nights but it was exactly as described the rooms were perfectly clean and comfortable we were not staying in them all day but travelling around, the Bathroom was just fine we had not taken breakfast but walked around the corner to the bakery, but the people running the place are wonderful could not be nicer or more helpful.

great staff who couldn't do enough to help us. stayed in budget twin room with extra bed- easily enough room for 3 girls at not too much extra cost. great location seconds from beachfront and accommodation at extremely reasonable price! did not use swimming pool as am more of a beachgoer but would definitely return and recommend accommodation for people wanting clean budget price accommodation in great location with lovely helpful staff :D

This hotel is ok but far from Fira. The rooms don't have wifi, only on the pool deck. Our room had a kitchenette but they didn't supply dish soap or towels to wash the dishes. The bathroom is extremely small , the shower is approx 2ft by 2ft when you shower everything gets wet.

Nous avons passé un sejour incroyable ! Nous avons réserver notre séjour à deux d'une semaine à \"L' aretousa villas\" et nous en sommes ravis. Un accueil tres chaleureux et attentionné. Nous avons eut un tres bon contact avec les propriétaires de l'établissement toujours aux petits soin. Les chambres sont super nous avions une chambre avec une petite plaque de cuisson électriques c'était trés utile. Un service de ménage quotidien parfait. La piscine est top équipé de bain de soleil, de petit fond musicale et de plateau de jeux d'échec et de dames. Nous avons vraiment été content et nous gardons de très beaux souvenirs de notre séjours. Encore un grand merci à l'ensemble de l'équipe de \"l'aretousa villas\".

We had very good contact with the owners of the establishment, always attentive. The rooms are great; we had a room with a small electric stovetop, which was very useful. A perfect daily cleaning service. The pool is great, equipped with sun loungers, background music, and a chess and checkers board. We were really happy and we have very fond memories of our stay. Quanto à localização , muito bem localizado, situado no local calmo de Perissa, com mini mercado, padaria , praia e bares de praia a minutos a pé ! Adoramos a experiência !

Especial atenção a quem faz o pagamento com cartão virtual pois existe um deelay entre a empresa parceira “Expedia” e o valor que pagamos na reserva, nao é autorizado ao hotel fazer o levantamento na hora do check in e é cobrado o valor total no dia novamente, sendo que depois têm que esperar 7 a 10 dias a restituição do valor para o cartão.
