The hotel is very close to all the town's amenities and the most famous beaches. It is just a 10-minute drive from the island's capital, Fira.

This family-friendly hotel comprises a total of 28 rooms, and facilities on offer include a bar, a TV room and a breakfast room. The studios (sleeping up to 3 adults) are twin bedded with an additional single sofa bed, and have an en suite bathroom with shower and WC, a kitchenette with 2 cooking rings and fridge, a telephone and a balcony with full sea view.

A hairdryer, a satellite/ cable TV and individually adjustable air conditioning also come as standard. A 4th camp bed is also available, but is suitable for a child only.

The staff at Hotel Amaryllis were wonderful. They were so nice, friendly and hospitable. The facility was near and clean. anytime I had a question or wanted a service they were so tentative and had such great customer service. I went to Perissa with my fiancé and we like the more quiet less congested hotel location of Hotel Amaryllisz. You cannot beat the location and price point. I would definitely recommend Hotel Amaryllis to friends and family and will definitely stay again in the future. We had an amazing stay!

I liked the location of the property as it was close to the beach and shops/ restaurants and pick-up points for the tour buses. The hotel room was clean and had a nice view from the balcony. Staff Maria was kind and very nice to all guests, and recommended good tours and restaurants to eat at where the food was superb! The breakfast was limited to continental and there could be some improvements to drinking water facilities, where you get hot tea from. However, overall the experience was good and I would return.

The best part of our stay was the staff. They were very kind and responsive. They cleaned our room every day and even helped us schedule our taxi ride back to the airport. Thank you for your service!

The BEST budget hotel I’ve ever stayed at!!!

There’s so much to say about how awesome this property is. I am a solo female traveler, and I’d never been to Greece until a couple of weeks ago when I booked a four-night stay at this property. Here are some highlights of my experience so you can make the best choice for you!

1. Getting there: the one downside to this property (and other surrounding properties) is that getting there can be a challenge, because most taxi drivers in Santorini are scammers that will charge ridiculous rates and expect you to pay them. I should have messaged the hotel beforehand, because they made sure my ride back to the airport was super smooth and much cheaper than it had been the first time. Don’t make my same mistake - ask for advice!

2. Conditions: this is not a luxury resort, but I’d definitely describe it as being a rare gem amidst other budget hotels. The shower in my room was massive, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was a gorgeous pool and tons of natural light. Hotel breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. You get more than what you pay for, without a doubt!

I only have two minor issues: the shower smelled a bit funky, and the curtains on my big, beautiful window had to stay down the entire time because of some project that was happening outside.

3. Location: a stone’s throw away from Perissa, which is a gorgeous beach with a great view of the Caldera. Tons of great restaurants as well.

Housekeeping was fantastic. The entire property was extremely clean and well kept. Breakfast was above average for a buffet included in the room price. With COVID regulations, we were not afforded the opportunity for a late checkout, which was only a slight inconvenience. If we return to Perissa, we will definitely consider returning to Amaryllis.

Quiet hotel near black beach

The hotel staff were friendly and available, and always greeted us warmly. We were able to park our rental car in a parking lot nearby and used it to explore the island. We were happy at the black beach, and found the hotel quiet and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was pretty basic, and didn’t vary. But they have a restaurant on the beach called Aquarius that is quite good with an extensive menu. And there are many other food choices nearby.

The hotel was clean and Helen was so wonderful, friendly and very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to get anything we needed. She treated us like family and we really appreciated that.... Hotel Amaryllis was great place to stay. We were three 4 nights with Our family. Services were so Good. Breakfast was great. Room was clean and nice. Hotel location was safe and quiet and was near to beach.

Amaryllis - we’ll be back!

Vi er en familie på fire på tur (voksne, 12- og 10 år).
Fantastiske mennesker som driver hotellet, vennlige og serviceinnstilte. Rene og fine rom. God frokost i rolige omgivelser. Det tar 2-3 min å gå til stranda. Vi elsket Perissa og etter en rundtur på hele øya i leiebil, innså vi at Perissa er the place to be (om du vil slappe av). Leiebil er for øvrig et must, men to dager er nok! Jo mindre bil, jo bedre mtp parkering.
Hvis vi skal tilbake, så booker vi oss inn på Amaryllis igjen!

Abbiamo soggiornato all'Hotel Amaryllis per 6 notti con un bambino di due anni, e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata positivissima, oltre ogni limite! Non pensavo che ci avrebbero accolti con così tanto entusiasmo e gentilezza!
Tutto lo staff dell'albergo è gentile ed amichevole, ti aiutano se hai un bisogno (il signor Kosta ci ha recuperato una siringa per dare lo sciroppo a nostro figlio!), sempre cordiali e col sorriso in bocca. Si respira un'atmosfera di pace e serenità, la struttura è bellissima (non c'è l'ascensore ma si raggiunge il piano superiore bene), con una bellissima piscina, piccola ma attrezzata. La colazione è a buffet, ogni mattina ci hanno fatto trovare qualcosa di diverso (spanakopita stupenda); marmellate artigianali di fico, ciliege, mele, miele dell'isola (ho adorato il barattolo coi fichi canditi),yogurt greco, frutta fresca e torte. Ho apprezzato molto anche il loro caffè, diverso da quello italiano ma gustoso. Il personale ci ha fornito il seggiolone ogni mattina, sono sempre stati gentilissimi ed adorabili col bimbo, gli hanno persino regalato due leccalecca ed un giochino (grazie Marco!).
La camera era un tripla: ho prenotato una matrimoniale con richiesta di un lettino, ed i lenzuoli erano per tre persone!
L'ultimo giorno ci hanno dato la possibilità di lasciare le valigie nel deposito ed usufruire del bagno all'ingresso! Consiglio molto questo albergo e spero di tornare in futuro!! Vi porterò nel mio cuore. Grazie per la bellissima vacanza!!!
