Wonderful hotel! Very pretty and awesome rooms. Nice pool and delicious food. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Walkable to restaurants and beach. This area is kind of on the barren side, very rocky and sparse. The beach is nice but you have to eat at one of the restaurants to be able to sit on the chairs or pay for a rental. There are a couple day trips you can do but we came to relax so the hotel was perfect for that. Car service to and from the airport was about 45 EU.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a suite, it was lovely and spacious. There was a lack of chairs inside the suite. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Close to the beach but quiet area. Pool was spacious and kids loved it. The hotel never felt too busy or crowded despite being almost fully booked. Would come again!

I had the best stay at meltemi !! I went to Greece on a solo trip and the staff here were so kind and welcoming ! I was even provided a beautiful note & gift for my birthday. And for when I wanted to take transit I was given a bus schedule sheet & some tips for the bus. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel along with a bakery (5min walk) and many places to eat ! I’ll be back the next time I’m in Santorini ! Thanks for the amazing stay !

What a great stay. From checking in to check out the entire experience was 10/10. A bit about the hotel:
Hotel is clean,comfortable and pleasant with a nice pool and pleasant grounds. Mattress was comfortable and pillows were a bit firm but comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and caters for all. Eggs bacon salads fruit yoghurts breads etc.
Location: at first we thought it was out of the way but when we walked to the beach (5 minutes ) we discovered a beach. During the day it was quiet but at night it came to life with souvenir shops restaurants greek music and dancing. Tables right on the beach some tables on the sand. The strip is about 400m. Id suggest walking. Up and down before choosing a restaurant. They’re all exceptional. We went to Apollo with Greek music. They close the street in the evening so safe for children and adults.
Getting around :
We hired a car from auto union car rental. They’re the cheapest. No need for a luxury car. It cost us around 50 euro a day. They picked us up from the airport and we returned it at the port to catch ferry onto another island.

We had the most amazing holiday at Meltemi and stayed for 3 weeks in room 43 & 46

28 of our wedding guests also stayed here and where all very impressed! Meltemi catered for all of our needs providing cots for children, extra pillows etc

Unfortunately my dad fell ill and the lovely receptionists helped to get him a dr appt and call a taxi and also helped to find a replacement pushchair for one that was lost at LGW

The barman are extremely friendly and always welcoming

Our rooms where always spotlessly clean everyday

The staff at Meltemi made our holiday and wedding day extra special and greeted us every morning

We had 5 star treatment throughout our stay

We became very fond of all of the staff and where very sad to go after our amazing stay

We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary

We had a private suite with private pool. The pool was fantastic and much bigger than we had expected based off the pictures. All in all we enjoyed very much. Only complaint were the extremely loud finches that had nests outside our suite and began chirping at 5 AM. Other than that the location was fantastic for walking to the beach and eating at local restaurants. Would highly recommend. Great staff and beautiful property.

The team provided exceptional service. Whenever we reported a small problem they immediately sent the maintenance team to sort it out. Infrastructure is very good although this is a 3-star hotel. Swimming in such a well maintained pool is a real pleasure. So yes it is exactly like in the pictures for once!

On arrival we were dealt with efficiently and very friendly by Costas on the front desk, who checked us in and showed us to our upgraded room (superior to a junior suite with pool), nice, thanks Meltemi :)
The hotel was smallish, with a pool for the suites, and a larger pool for everyone else (as seen in piccy).
We had a nice breakfast everyday, usually buffet, but you stood and chose and it was served for you. Overall, hotel very nice for the price.
Hard to tell you about the rest as we were at the end of the season, plus no cruise ships due to Covid, so the Island was reasonably deserted, which we took full advantage of and with our hired car (picked up from airport) we explored the entire Island. Ancient Thira, Fira, Oia.... you name it, worth seeing. All in all from our lovely base at Meltemi, a beautiful Island, well worth a visit.

Our little oasis

This hotel is amazing. We decided to stay in Perissa rather than Oia because we wanted to be close to the beach and it was definitely the right decision. The hotel set back on a high street and was a 5 minute walk from the beach which had lots of restaurants and sun beds. Just outside the hotel is the meltemi bar which was super and has karaoke 2 nights a week. The hotel was like a little oasis. The staff couldn’t do more to help, both at reception (notably Roy) and at the pool bar (Andreas and Bogdan). The pool was great with a mix of beds in the sun and shade although people did tend to reserve beds before breakfast which is against hotel policy and so it was a little annoying that nothing was done especially as one family of ten took lots of the beds. The breakfast buffet was superb. We stayed for nine nights had a free upgrade to the suite with a whirlpool which was just amazing. We are really thankful for the upgrade and would definitely recommend this room to anyone staying. Thanks to everyone at Meltemi, we hope to come again soon!

Short stay in Perissa

We stayed in the junior suite for 3 nights for the first part of our stay in Santorini. Although it was too cold out(around 70 degrees F.)to enjoy the private outdoor jet tub, we could see if being very enjoyable in hotter months. Overall the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was great and the area is perfect. Next door to a convenient store. Many rental services nearby and only a short walk to black sand beach. Local friendly cat show up for free breakfast also!

Avoid standard double room

The staff here are amazing and can't do enough. Breakfast is very good. If you like a full English you would probably be disappointed - no mushrooms, grilled tomato or beans. We had a standard double room and it was very small. The shower was so tiny that wherever you stood the shower curtain clung to you. You had to move to the side to be able to shut the bathroom door as it opened right up to the toilet. The balcony was tiny and a struggle to walk around the the 2 shabby chairs. The pool area is beautiful but quite shaded. The far side of the pool is best as you can get sun there from about 10am for rest of day as long as you move your bed around. The two brothers who run the pool bar are lovely. They just went that extra mile. The location of the hotel is perfect and very central to everything in Perissa.

We had a great stay at Maltemi Village! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile to make our stay more enjoyable. Lovely little hotel

Meltemi Hotel Village was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. It was on the main road which troubled me when we first arrived as it was extremely busy with all the main traffic going it Perissa. However once you walk through the lovely white arch doors it was like walking into a tranquil setting. Overall the grounds were well kept and clean. The bar area was always spotless as was the area outside and inside the hotel. The sunbeds were comfortable wooden ones with nice mattresses. Some were passed their best though.

The hotel staff were wonderful. A special mention to Roy and Andreas who were so helpful and went out of their way to not only help us when we asked but also they were very knowledgeable about the area and were so helpful to all the guests staying. They were so cheerful and very approachable.

We booked a superior room which although was very huge, the decor was a little disappointing and the bathroom was quirky to say the least. Not what i was expecting and when I mentioned that we wanted to move they could not do so on the first night but after a good night sleep on a wonderful comfortable mattress and no sound from traffic we were happy and enjoyed the spacial room and strange bathroom. The room was clean and towels and bedding changed regularly. (They also provide towels for the pool too free of charge and free of charge safety deposit boxes which was a pleasant surprise.)

Get more for your money here!

What a great experience! We ended up leaving a more expensive hotel overlooking the caldera because we realized that it's not worth it to pay a ton of money when you can easily get more for your money on the other side of the island and just go to MULTIPLE places around the island to watch the sunset for free. This was a last minute reservation but luckily they still had a few rooms available. We got there fairly early in the day because we left our other hotel in the morning. They were able to check us in early and gave us a free room upgrade to a suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony! (The rooms below us had private pools). Sure it's not overlooking the caldera, but who cares. Our other more expensive hotel didn't have half the perks as this place. It was also a 5 minute walk to the beach where there are a few good bars and restaurants. They even had a deal with one of the restaurants for a free carafe of wine and free beach chairs if you ate there. The room itself was perfect. The bed was comfy and you could not hear anything from the outside or surrounding rooms. We had an issue with the shower once where they had turned off the water for a few minutes for repairs and it happened to be while we were actually showering, but the problem resolved itself quickly. Breakfast had a pretty large selection and there was never a fight to find a table to eat at. I would absolutely come back here if we ever come back to Santorini!!

Very nice location but the hotel needs to be updated..... Only 1 Chanel on TV and the very small analog TVs need to be updated.
I know you only stay in room of a night time but it's nice after a long day out sight seeing and swimming to lay back in bed and watch some tv and to have more than 1 choice.
There was also no coffee making facilities,ect
Electric jug... Coffee, tea, sugar.
Staff were very helpful.

The hotel staff were very friendly and it was run very professionally. We had a junior suite and it was amazing, the plunge pool was refreshing and the outside area was very private. The pool was a descent size and by the looks of it a second pool is very close to completion. Take some walking shoes as there are lots of walks if this is something you are interested in. Bobs bar is a great place to stop for a cheap beverage.

Staff at Meltemi Village were brilliant

Arrived late Saturday night, was collected at airport after prearranging with hotel to be collected. Quick access by friendly staff to our accommodation. Three people in our group, one was allocated room 33 overlooking the pool area with small balcony, two of us in room 40 overlooking a street and houses on one side with a larger balcony facing the hill nearby. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed linen was changed half way through the week and towels on a regular basis. The pool area had plenty of beds with the breakfast room and bar nearby. A good variety and choice for breakfast and if you needed anything or they ran out of an item, a quick word to Andreas and his team soon had it sorted. Andreas and his team also looked after the pool and bar area and were quick to sort out whatever a guest needed there. Any help or advice was provided by reception with either Despina and Katarina or Roy and Stefanos. Anyone of them happy to just have a chat if free. On the day we left we checked out mid morning as flight late at night. We could leave our cases with reception, they provided towels so we could sunbathe, we were even able to have a shower with clean towels and change ready to come home. As Roy said we know you have checked out however you are still our guests!!!!

Beautiful place and amazing staff

Arrived at 6am after 12 hours travelling to reception staff who could not do enough for us. They instructed cleaning staff to clean out room as soon as they arrived, opened breakfast early for us and we're extremely helpful and welcoming. Stayed in a Superior room which was beautiful, looked recently refurbished with high ceilings and plenty of space. Free air con and safe. Lunch and drinks were extremely reasonable (€2.80 for a chicken pitta which was quite substantial and €5 for a cocktail) and a cocktail bar in the evening which again was pleasant and reasonable with fantastic friendly staff.

Beach is a 5 minute walk and they have links with a restaurant on the beach where you can get sunbeds and a free drink. Beach was beautiful with lots of bars and restaurants. It is one of the quieter resorts but we found plenty to do.

Places to visit: Santorini Gem or Heliotopis Hotel at sunset! Amazing!

Fantastic end to our holiday!

I really enjoyed our stay at Meltemi in the honeymoon suite. our room was huge , well appointed and modern. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Meltemi was situated in the perfect area for us. Right near the beach and close to plenty of restaurants, without the crowds. Also, everything is so close in Santorini that you can get to the other centers (and the fantastic wineries) by car/quad in 20 minutes....Oh and the breakfast was fantastic!

Lovely hotel in great location

We had a fantastic time at Meltemi. The staff were brilliant, especially the main receptionist, Roy, who seemed very knowledgeable about the island. We were pleasantly upgraded to a lovely suite with a Jacuzzi, although it was too cold for us to go in (didn't have a lot of sun shining on it).

The pool area was lovely, the trees gave quite a lot of shade, so we found we had to move sun loungers quite often to sit in the sun. The bar man around the pool was great and the pool snacks were yummy.

The free breakfast was nice, not amazing, but certainly nice enough for a freebie.

Perissa in general is a great beach, with lots of bars and restaurants. Most will let you use their sun loungers and umbrellas if you buy food or drinks there. We walked down to Perivolos one day which was also nice, but we did prefer Perissa.

The hotel is a 20 minute bus ride to Fira (the buses are very comfortable coaches with A/C and approx. 2euros each way) and then it's another 20 minute bus ride to Oia.

If we were to visit Santorini again, we would stay in Perissa, and wouldn't hesitate to go back to Meltemi Village.

We arrived late at night and they were extremely accommodating and friendly! They even upgraded us to a honeymoon suite, huge surprise to us! The staff was extremely friendly through out the entire trip! Breakfast was great, simple and did the job! Rooms were clean and maids were extremely kind! Location was perfect, not to busy yet close to the bars and the beach! we will absolutely be back!

From start to finish a great stay.
Check In- Check Out and any time visiting Front Office was superb. Very efficient and friendly staff.
Bar and Restaurant staff are great- friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and only reason i didn't award a 5 out of 5 was the shower- pressure/ shower head was poor to average.

Location- amazing. everything you need on your doorstep.

Great hotel and the staff were fantastic.

Adreaus the pool bar man was great and very friendly. He makes the best cocktails.
Roy on reception is friendly and very knowledgeable.
The only downside to the holiday is Santorini's airport which hasn't changed since it was built. They can't cope with the amount of passengers in the busy summer months. Very disorganised and no air conditioning and most of the toilets were out of action. The holiday was great only spoilt but an outdated airport.

Lovely hotel with luxury touches and great staff

We've just returned from our second holiday at Meltemi and had another brilliant time. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help and to make the trip easy and memorable. The hotel itself is great - huge pool, plenty of shade as well as sun around it. Both times we've stayed in one of the suites with a jacuzzi on the balcony. Very luxurious! Comfortable rooms, kept spotless. Great breakfast buffet available - mixture of the usual breads, croissants, cereal etc and santorian specialities - lovely tomato balls, tzatsiki, aubergine salad etc.

The hotel is on the main road in Perissa, next door to a useful grocery, and about 5 minutes walk to the beach and the restaurants that line it. The beach is great and the sea is stunning - crystal clear, perfect temperature for swimming. We love it.

The hotel is on the main road in Perissa. The pool area and reception are fine and the staff were great very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold food. However, the room and especially the bathroom seriously need updating and don't look like the pictures on the website which was disappointing.

Great place to stay with excellent, friendly staff

Really nice complex set in beautiful gardens/pool area. All the staff were excellent, at check in the receptionist was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. She also provided details of the best way to get around the Island (not just "selling" tours, but offering other options like local public transport with timetables and the numerous car/scooter/quad rental places nearby). She could also explain what to expect in the most popular sight seeing venues. The room was great (we went for a superior one on a bed and breakfast option with air conditioning, which had a small kitchenette (including fridge to keep the wine chilled), queen sized bed, large bathroom, flat screen TV (not used) and digital safe. This was cleaned every day to an immaculate standard with towels changed daily by super efficient and friendly cleaning team. The breakfasts were served between 8 - 10am in the restaurant area as a buffet style and had plenty of choice and constantly replenished with freshly cooked food. The poll area had a pool bar, which offered a plethora of drinks (local and international spirits), cocktails and beers (lagers) and a good selection of food throughout the day. All were served by a super conscientious, efficient and friendly barman.
The experience was very positive and I would recommend this hotel/resort. We stayed the week before a UK half term, so was ideal for couples/singles and was very peaceful, on our last day families with young children arrived which made it less so.

I liked this hotel

The pool area is lovely, it's shaded by palm trees and large umbrellas, so everyone is able to sit where they wish. Staff are very pleasant and the reception staff able to answer all queries. Breakfast buffet style is very good, plenty for everyone. The rooms are simple but adequate and overall I'd recommend this hotel.

Pro's : Staff were excellent, free upgrade to superior room after our 4th night, hotel & rooms spotlessly clean, 5 mins from beach, bus stop & mini market on door step, pool area nice . Overall great stay & value for money. Recommend 100 %
Cons : WiFi poor & breakfast average, but didn't detract from our stay. Thanks to all at Meltemi Village.

Amazing Hotel

We only had a week to enjoy our stay in Santorini and what an amazing stay it was. Meltemi village was the perfect location for us. It was close to the beach and it served all our requirements - it was clean, central, tranquil, and we were well looked after. There was an amazing choice of food for breakfast and if you required anything different the staff were only too willing to get it for you.
We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and the staff of the hotel made it extremely special for us. We can't wait to go back.

Excellent Staff, Service, Accommodation & Location

Stayed in 2014 with Eldest daughter & her fiancee while looking at Wedding venues in Santorini. Having been so impressed with the friendly, professional but personal service alongside the high standard of the hotel we booked again this year with other family & friends attending the Wedding. If anything, we were even more impressed with the attentiveness & caring shown by all the staff. The Manager Manolis was so kind in upgrading our daughter & husband to the honeymoon suite & ourselves to a superior suite. The receptionists Despina & Ron couldn't have been more helpful with every request. The pool barman Andreos was so cheerful, friendly & kind especially to my elderly father in law & nephew - we felt reassured in leaving them unattended for short periods knowing that he was keeping an eye on them.
We will be back!

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff

We stayed here for a friends wedding and we enjoyed it very much. The staff were super firmest and the facilities such as the pool and bar were great. The only thing I didn't like was that nothing in the gym worked and the Internet was very slow but I guess a minor thing when your meant to be relaxing mainly. Would come again and recommend to my friends.

we stay in Meltemi village for 3 nights. We enjoyed the hotel, the staff and the location. The rooms are a bit dated and the hotel needs some refurbishment but despise these we had a wonderful time and recommend it.

The bed was very comfortable, but the bathroom was small, esp the shower. Other than that, no complaints. The receptionists all were very nice and helpful. It was a lovely stay. And will stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Meltemi. Staff couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived. Well positioned, 5 min walk to the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. If we returned to Santorini we would come back and stay here.

Great hotel well recommended!

Recently had a lovely 10 day stay at Meltemi Village. Staff are all wonderful and welcoming. Our room was perfect for what we wanted, not particularly big but with a fridge and a balcony meant we could relax on the balcony in the late afternoon. Pool and bar area are great, seemed to be enough loungers for everyone however we didn't use this space at all as the beach was so close...and what a beautiful and surprisingly quiet beach!! Definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Where feeling a little nervous about current situation in Greece regarding the Euro but soon discovered that there was absolutely no problem in Santorini at all.

Old but awesome!

Check in was a breeze, Roy was super helpful and nice! The wifi in the room wasn't very good and rarely worked which was inconvenient since we needed it to figure the island out. The hotel location is awesome since it is near everything!!! A grocery store and numerous restaurants are right outside the hotel doors. The AC in the room was awesome, we got a room with a jacuzzi however it did not get hot. We asked about warming it up and were told it was warned by the sun? Not what we were expecting at the price we paid. Still overall a great place to stay maybe opt for the cheaper option and use the hotel pool which is super nice.

Lovely hotel, close to beach

We had a lovely week at Meltemi. We had the Junior Suite and loved the Jacuzzi on the deck. The room was lovely, well set out, very comfortable and clean. The pool was very good, much bigger than others in the area, with plenty of loungers. Breakfast was fantastic, nice mix of the usual breakfast things and local specialities such as tomato balls and Fava. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, they made the journey. There's a store 2 mins from the hotel, and the beach is about 5 minutes walk. Really enjoyed our stay

Friendly Hotel

A nicely situated hotel, a small walk from the beach and yet far enough away that if you require a quiet time then the hustle and bustle of the seafront does not interfere with your peace and quiet. Excellent amenities and the staff were very friendly and always ready to help with any enquiry. The bar menu was more than adequate, the cocktails being a nice highlight :-) and the breakfast was so vast you were spoilt for choice. The pool is always clean and is a nice size. It appears the airport is having fun and games dealing with the amount of travellers as the island of Santorini becomes ever more popular, lets hope things are more organised by the time I and the other half go again (as we most certainly intend to).

Great hotel Great staff

The hotel is in the centre of Perissa but once inside is an oasis, the pool, the rooms and the staff are great! We booked a suite which was fab as were the staff, Roy the receptionist is so helpful and Andreas, very attentive. The rooms are well maintained daily and breakfast is good too. All in all a great hotel with great staff, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great three days

We stayed there three days and enjoyed the stay. The room had a very comfortable bed, AC, and a outdoor jacuzzi. The only suggestion I would make was that the temperature of the jacuzzi should be controllable. We ended up dumping a few buckets of heated water into the tub until it was at comfortable temperature.
The resort pool was very nice. The seating had shaded areas and sunny areas depending on your goal that day. The pool's temperature was refreshing and the depth was also fairly deep.
The surrounding areas around the hotel were very nice including the Perisa beach and numerous restaurants. Also located a few buildings away was a grocery store and ferry ticket shop making this hotel very conveniently located.
The service was great and gave us the option to hold our luggage at the front desk until our ferry later that day to a different island(5pm local time).

Santorini Wedding break

We stayed at Meltemi Village for a family wedding. The hotel was very nice and the staff very helpful. Location is quite good for Perrisa about 200 yards from the beach front.
We stayed in a Suite which was very nice except for the Bathroom was a problem. although clean and modern, the shower had no form of enclosure and the water did not dry from the floor all over so you were always walking in wet. Our daughter stayed in a studio (cheaper) but the room was very dark and the bathroom a little old and in need of attention. In laws stayed in a standard room which was nice but the bathroom and shower was tiny and the bedroom also a little small. Lovely Pool area and bar.
We would consider staying here again but would also try other places closer to the beach.

Went for one of my best friends Wedding

Was at this hotel for one of my best friends wedding and we all stayed there. Staff was really helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and mine was very nice and close by to the pool. Around are restaurants and supermarkets which comes in handy when buying water as you can't drink tap water!! It's a short walk to the beach and again you have plenty of choice of restaurants and a few shops along the beach. I had a lovely time there and would definitely stay again!

We were not made aware of the refurbishment being carried out on some of the rooms, this was not a problem except the children's play area was unusable and very untidy and spoilt the environment. Our room was very clean and attended every day, the shower was extremely poor and the TV reception was not existent.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pool snacks very good value.

We booked a junior suite, the photos looked amazing. On arrival we were very disappointed, room was tatty and it was completely different to the photos on the website. There were bulbs blown that made the room dark, we mentioned this but no one changed them. The room had no bottled water at all, as you cannot drink the tap water this was annoying, we paid near £100 a night, we were expecting water in the room. There was a fridge but it was empty. The hairdryer was useless, one of those mounted on the wall, it wasn't even worth using. The safe in the room wasn't screwed down, so a thief could have just picked it up and ran off with it. Service wasn't great asked for an iron and ironing board amd had to go to the reception to fetch an iron, there was no ironing board. Pool area was lovely. Breakfast was below average and they are really slow to top up the food. If you stayed in one of the much cheaper rooms you may be happier, but don't waste your money on a suite. We won't go back.

Excellent staff, very pretty village hotel,

Our first impression on arrival was what a lovely place. When we got to reception we were greeted by Roy and her colleague who are just the nicest, friendliest people ever. Roy is an extremely lovely lady! They upgraded us to the honeymoon suit without us even mentioning we were just married and on honeymoon which was quite overwhelming. The suite is gorgeous, huge living space, very comfortable bed beautifully decorated with towels and flowers. the bathroom is spacious wet room with robes and slippers. We had a very private outdoor space with a jacuzzi , loungers and a table and chairs. you can also light the lanterns at night which are really nice. The pool is great and the pool bar tender Andrew was great, you could not fault his service and a really friendly man as were all the staff at Meltemi Village. A little far from the hustle and busy sight seeing resorts but that was perfect for us as we were on honeymoon. In saying that you can get everywhere so easily by bus and it doesn't take long so you are not far from even more of the beauty and fascinating history of Santorini/Thera. We are going to return to this fantastic hotel for our anniversary as we enjoyed everything about Meltemi Village. You have to go to Meltemi Silver and Gold jewelers two doors away as there are outstanding things in there also book any trips from the place across the road as we did and it was faultless. There are great places to eat and a short walk away, we'd recommend Hellas.
