Not Sure if Hotels.com messed up my reservation but they did not have 1 of my 2 rooms ready. had to improvise and find another place. ladies at front desk were not helpful at all, but the gentlemen that came in at 11pm helped us find options to continue our stay at Bastrop

The air conditioning unit smelled mildewed and didn’t seem to blow as cold as it should. I was not hot but it was just cool and I had it set on 68. The mildew smell was the biggest issue.

This property was wonderful and clean from the moment you walk in. It has a lovely smell as soon as you walk in and all arounf the hall ways.

The beds and pillows are very very comfotable, and i usually bring my own pillow due to pillows being too soft, but these were good!

My only issues were, the water temperature didnt get hot enough. And then for breakfast on our first morning, nothing seemed to be getting replaced. The muffins ran out as we were down for breakfast at 7am. So we thought we would grab some when we headed out of the door just before 10, it was still the same. There was only once choice of oatmeal and that was maple syrup and brown sugar, we like the plain oatmeal as we have someone with diabetes in the family so try to stay away from things with too much sugar but also want something that is healthy and will help keep us full for a little while. The second morning there were different staf and they kept coming out to check on things but the oatmel flavours were still the same.

Overall we were happy with our stay here.

The whole facility seemed neglected and the room had cracked sink, tile, and mold stains. The breakfast was one of the worst selections and the fruit was old, small apples and no bananas. It felt like a motel 6.

It overall was fine. Bit bland and stark as hotels go. Unfortunately breakfast really limited for any healthy options - even omelette full of processed cheese and vast majority of options ultra processed unfortunately. Room nice and dark and for price ok but I’d go out for breakfast instead

The morning staff were very unprofessional any question you asked her she had to called management. Ehen I try to tell her wants going on ahe keep switching it around like if it was the other customer service representatives. I told her know she we're amazing. You do not understand what's going on. When dealing with customers she has now customers services skills. Other then that it was great.

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED!!!!

WHY is this place a ridiculous $170 something dollars a night, much less on a week night!?!?!?! Absolutely absurd!! Front desk staff was rude and short answered. Grimiest feeling in the room! Breakfast?!? You mean the one you are NOT ALLOWED to take to your room!?!? The one where you can’t serve yourself? Can’t even get your own coffee for goodness sake! The overall atmosphere of this hotel was not “hospitality” in the slightest way whatsoever!

This hotel advertises an indoor pool, however upon arrival we came to find that this was dishonest advertising. There is no indoor pool, only outside and it was still covered. There also seems to be only employee from night to morning and literally the same man, not one employee on shift at a time. Through multiple interactions with this employee throughout our stay he was on his phone and acted as if we were inconveniencing him.
