Our room smelled like mold as soon as you walked in, they were doing construction in the Room room above us till about 7 o'clock every night. Our TV did not work properly with the remote and it had a very snowy picture. The staff was excellent whatever you needed they came and brought you. Going down to the pool every morning though you didn't get a towel till at least 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

Very convenient and close to everything in Atlantis and also downtown. The breakfast was great! The staff was very pleasant, always felt welcoming and they were respectful. The rooms could be upgraded some more, even if the building is old. My housekeeper, Ms. Darlene was very kind to us and every morning we see her, she's always smiling. I had an excellent experience from check-in to check-out. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and well organized. Raegan, who assisted me during check-in, was exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful. She took the time to answer my questions, ensured that everything was in order, and made me feel genuinely welcomed.

The staff throughout my stay were courteous and attentive, and the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The level of customer service exceeded my expectations and contributed greatly to an enjoyable and stress-free stay.

Upon arrival, the hotel staff was busy, but they did a good job accommodating everyone. The issue started as soon as we got off the elevator on the east wing of hotel 3rd floor because the hallway had an overpowering mildew smell that literally hurts our lungs when the elevator doors open. The AC in the room wasn’t circulating upon arrival, but we figured just give it a little bit of time since we just arrived. We wanted to get washed up and head out to get something to eat but we noticed when we were washing our hands. The sink was clogged. Next tried to take a shower, the pipes were loud and had a consistent rattling sound. All that happened within the first two hours of us checking in so decided to walk to a food truck to grab some food to give the room time to cool down. When we got back, it seemed as if it got worse and not better the I decided to call the front desk but when I picked up the phone, the cord was broken. Not a huge problem, I just use the speaker we let the front desk know that our sink was clogged and we were having issues with the shower. A couple hours went by but no one ever showed. I went downstairs to talk to the young lady at the front desk to inform her that nothing has been fixed and the conditions of the hotel were physically effecting us. I have asthma and severe allergies as well as my cousin and it was effecting us too much to continue our stay. One of the staff told me that they just had leaking issues w/rain. The next morning we checked out.

Awful, trash in room from people before us. Shower fixtures not working properly. One had a screw sticking out and grinding on the turn handle, the sound was awful. Breakfast was mediocre at best, everything tasted like cardboard and a few members had food poisoning from it. We only stayed one night and made arrangements elsewhere.

Where do I start...Room #212 smells HORRIBLE! I complained to the manager on duty and she stated there wasn't a smell but she would have some type of spray that would help, never helped! Our friends said that it smelled like it was behind the walls, ironically the Damp commercial came on every other commercial! My husband opened the cabinet next to the fridge and it smelled like DEATH which made it worse, so we made sure not to open that ever again. While taking showers, the bathtub never drained which grossed us out. The rooms need to be updated, they are from the late 80's. The side of the box spring mattress was stained so we were scared to look at the rest of the mattress. If we sat on the end of the bed, it made a loud sound and sort of sunk in. Our sliding door didn't open, like it was off track. Breakfast was grits, eggs, meat, fruit, breads EVERYDAY except the one day there was potatoes instead of grits. Grits were the only thing that saved me. We were given a $50 credit to eat/drink with but weren't given details so we tried to use at The Royal Delicatessen and were denied. Then we tried it at Poseidon's Table and again denied to where it was embarrassing! Staff did provide 2 small bottles of water daily so I guess that was a perk?! The only thing that got me through the week was telling ourselves that we were only there to sleep which was hard because every time we opened that door, it was hard!

Back door to the pool area was jammed, they didn’t have the wet clothes hangline in the bathroom like the sign said it had. The refrigerator didn’t work. The water pressure was low. There was no microwave either so we just didn’t worry about the broken fridge to save food in . It was useless since we could not reheat. No view of the ocean anywhere in hotel. You had to walk 20 min to public beach or go through Atlantis everytime to use their beach. Overall to lay your head at night and have breakfast and WiFi plus access to Atlantis was the only beneficial part of the stay. We only went to Atlantis once and did excursions. So I would stay at a different hotel if I was to come back.

While an older property it is very well maintained and clean. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job. I have stayed her numerous times mainly for the convenience. The front desk staff is mostly excellent save for one member. Every encounter with this person is subpar. There is no rhyme or reason to his check-in process. I am a Choice Rewards and Expedia VIP. He never provides the VIP benefits. My reservation included a food/beverage credit which he did not provide nor did he acknowledge it. Bringing it up is just a colossal waste of time and is usually met with attitude. I only stay here to rest and shower. Also the Atlantis perk is great but it has become cumbersome to use. Previously you were given access for the entire stay, now you have to check in every day. The free breakfast is a nice perk but after a few days it is just the same options repeated over and over. When the breakfast is offered in the hospitality suite, you should avoid, items are not served at the proper temperatures and it is largely not sanitary.

My niece and I stayed here from 5/28-6/1 for 5 days. I've stayed here years ago and I can't remember if my time previously was better. Breakfast was mediocre, alcoholic drinks was good and the wings on the menu were best! The worst part of the hotel is the WiFi. Although we were notified that they shut down the WiFi to improve the connection it didn't help at all and was very unstable.

You can't find friendlier, more helpful people than staff at the Comfort Inn. Charmaine helped us order pizza. We needed maintenance in our room, the engineer was in our room fixing the problem within minutes. The location is perfect. Having access to Atlantis was the best part, it also i less than 5 minutes to the marina village. We also ate on the on-site restaurant called Cruso's. Eat there and have the salmon, it was delicious. The breakfast is included. It was a filling breakfast that included eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, grits, oatmeal fresh fruit, pastries, yogurts, cereals. Check in is smooth and efficient. Lindly was a smiling face at the desk always ready to help. They have a few snacks you can purchase at the front desk including Diet Coke. Vending machines don't have diet coke but only cost $2. They leave complimentary bottles of water in your room daily which was very nice. Our rooms had a mini fridge. Our rooms also had ceiling fans which was wonderful. Rooms were cleaned very nicely every day and they provided everything we asked for from extra towels to trash bags. We did partake of some adult beverages, Mudslides and Pina Coladas which were fabulous as well. They do not skimp on the alcohol included in the drink. The pool and the pool deck were clean, the chaises and umbrellas were very nice also. There was ample seating around the pool. If you need a place to stay in Paradise, this definitely is the place to stay!!! I can't wait to go back..

Let me start off with the staff. They were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, that's where the pleasantries end. I was not happy throughout my trip. On day 1, the internet was extremely weak and, although it was on, completely unusable. It was the most important amenity as I was traveling on business. When calling family members on WhatsApp, I had to stand at the window or odd places in the room for a clear signal. The room phone didn't work so I had to walk a very long walk (because this hotel is oddly designed) to front desk just to report it.
The shower pressure was very weak. On the last morning almost no pressure at all. Had to leave it on for it to build momentum.
The hallways also had an odd smell. Like gym socks. And lastly, a bug crawled on me on one of the nights I was going to sleep.
It's disappointing that this hotel is operating at this level given that they are literally next door to one of the most famous and expensive hotels (Atlantis) in the Caribbean. I expected better. I don't normally leave reviews like this, but for my first time in Nassau, this fell below minimum standards. I hope this is read with a sense of gravity over the things you should consider working on. I do not recommend traveling here on business.

The communication from the resort was pathetic at best. I made reservations with the resort through Expedia (which I will never use again). I no sooner booked my reservations before I realized I put in the wrong dates. This was 4 weeks prior to the stay. Immediately I began to try to reach someone at the resort. I tried calling every known phone number that was made available on their website. If I called once - I called 25 times on two different numbers that were listed on the reservations and on the website. Nothing. Not even a place to leave a message. the phone would either ring off the wall or literally disconnect. So I reverted to their website with inquires. I sent message after message. Never one response. Nothing. I'm a very persistent person. I attempted to call Expedia. That was another circus with the same results. People - Learn from my mistake. Read the reviews on Expedia - They are all true. They don't follow-up. Once they take your credit card information, forget any further contact. I never stayed at the resort. I booked a complete different vacation in a different country. I wish I could post all of the dialog and phone calls that I made, but this message platform will not allow attachments. I hope this helps someone else so they don't fall into the same trap.

If you are going to Atlantis and don't want to spend Atlantis prices on a room, consider the Comfort Suites Paradise Island. The resort is well-kept, and undergoing some renovations, as it needs some updating. However, it offers free breakfast, which is huge considering the prices of everything in the Bahamas. We ate dinner there one night also, and it was quite tasty! The pool is nice and has a fun swim-up bar. The rooms are nice and comfortable and fairly large for two travelers. The plumbing is a little funky at times. The smell from the hallway coming back from Atlantis into the property is a little sour-smelling, but once to your room is fine. Other than that, it allows for access to Atlantis and it's amenties every day. It was easy to get the bracelets from the Atlantis desk. A great resort located almost on the Atlantis property, and great for a less-expensive option to Atlantis. We didn't feel like we were missing much. We ate and drank and swam at Atlantis most days.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is literally at the entrance to the Atlantis resort. Day passes to the resort were included with our stay. Proximity to Atlantis makes the hotel a great option! The room had a great view, but could use some updating. The breakfast was good and hearty, with plenty of food. We ate a great lunch and had delicious drinks on our arrival day. Overall, good customer service! We were greeted with a ringing bell because we were Platinum Expedia Members and given warm cookies. Everything met our expectations. We would definitely stay again.

The staff were all nice but we didnt get help bringing our luggage to the room, the hallway is carpeted and our room was like 2 blocks away!

Breakfast was fresh but can be improved along with more variety. Overall the hotel was clean, however, it is old and maybe needs a bit of a refresh. The pool at the hotel is nice but the best part is the access to Atlantis facilities. Staff is nice and attentive.
