When we first arrived, I noticed the pool was covered. It’s June, the pool should be open.

Our room was two doors down from the lobby and the immediate odor that punched us in the face was overwhelming. It smelled like mildew plus some type of commercial cleaner. They had no other rooms except smoking rooms so we couldn’t move.

The floor was damp throughout the room.

We had zero towels or washcloths and had to go get some, and I was handed unfolded towels.

Everything in the room that can be rusty is rusty.

The shower pressure was good. The HVAC works well.

Beds were not terrible but not great either.

Everything felt dirty and old.

I was happy to leave!

Overall, we had a nice experience. We only stayed for one night, but the room we were in was decent. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the breakfast wasn't that good. There were a lot of options to choose from, they just didn't really taste good in our opinion. Other than that, things were good.

Pretty bad hotel. We were put in room 101, which is a non-smoking room, but it smells so badly of cigarettes and you can especially tell in the bathroom. The bathroom has cracked walls and black stuff in the cracks. I don't even think the room is cleaned unless its visibly soiled. Tub was dirty. There are brown stains on the bed under and on the sheets. The door doesn't have a proper seal, so there is a crack that you can see through into the room on the edge. Hard water. Staff and breakfast was ok.
I don't understand how this hotel has a 9/10 rating. Room 101 was disgusting and not worth 100+ USD per night.

With it getting dark earlier, pool lights would be helpful. Otherwise we always stay here when in town and service is always great with clean rooms.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. My husband retired from the Army recently. We needed a room off and on for several weeks. Not only for us but for out of town guests. SureStay was amazing. We stayed in 3 different rooms. All were comfortable and very clean. The property is clean and quiet. Right next door is an amazing restaurant. It is one of the best stays we have ever had. The only thing that could use a bit of improvement is their breakfast offerings. It is basic and good, but a few more choices would be nice. But that is small in comparison to everything else that is amazing about this property.

Reasonable overall but needs some TLC

The bed was comfortable, air-conditioning worked very well, carpets were really sticky and looked very old & not as clean as the rest of the room. Bathroom and shower area was clean and spacious. Sink needed to be snaked because it was not draining well and smelled bad. The overall desks, tables, sink tops, beds and bathroom were all cleaned well enough. The sheets were white & had some stains that were old and probably won’t come out even if the sheets are clean, because they are white. The bathroom towels were the same, clean and fresh smelling but had some small stain marks that likely cannot come out of a pure white towel. Service was reasonable, friendly, but average. Pillows are really not good unless you stack them all together, no actual support. In this town it’s the best hotel, but it’s average, not great, but better than everywhere else.

My brother is in the local nursing home, I traveled from NC to spend some time with him. Sure Stay was perfect. Had it not snowed the nursing home would have been in walking distance, convenience store near by, and my time spent in the motel was restful. This has been my second stay each time has been longer and each time I know to come back to Sure Stay next time.

I was hesitant at first to stay here because of all the bad reviews from earlier this year but the reviews from the last couple of months were why I stayed they were all great, after staying here they are right it was great they must of done a total remodel job, within the time from the bad reviews to the good ones it was excellent. Got fresh breakfast clean rooms comfy beds very very sweet and respectful employees. Will definitely stay here again

It took over 20 minutes to check us in, and the desk clerk double-charged my bank account when we arrived. The room was clean, but no hot water (never resolved - my wife is disabled and needed a hot bath) and no bed covers (resolved), Had to hunt for staff twice - once when checking in and when we needed covers for our bed. The grounds were clean but the area outside of the groundswas not. Nice staff, but we will not return.

Cleanliness could be better

I do not like to complain ...room 105 ...bathroom floor was horrible around edges of wall baseboards with what looked to be caked on scum. Main walkways were vacuumed but edges weren't. The toilet ran all night and had a caulk around it that was disgusting and scary looking. Mold and mildew in shower...so we didnt bathe.

You could see daylight through our door and door hinge which was scary with 2 women traveling.

I will say that the sheets and towels were clean. Bed was comfortable.

We booked a 2 night stay but left after first night due to the condition of hotel. Was an inconvenience since we were visiting out of state family and had driven 8 hours that day.
Property was well maintained from outside and looked like a safe area. Just needs to be deep cleaned.
