When I first got there, Kay answered my call right away and was very friendly.
In the room, there was a space heater. It got very cold overnight (in the 40's), so I used it, but it didn't warm the room. I couldn't even take a shower in the morning, it was too cold. The next nights were supposed to be colder, so I decided to move to a hotel.
Even though the hours on the recording said office hours are 9am-10pm, I was unable to speak to anyone about the issue, I kept getting voicemail. I communicated through text and did leave a couple voice messages. I explained why I was leaving and instead of offering a solution, they said if they could rerent the room, they would refund my money, or I could get a credit toward a future stay. I asked for their cancellation policy as well as a phone call, but they didn't respond to either.
I was charged over $550 for one very cold night. I have disputed the charge.

This was my first time booking a little getaway & Kay the property manager was very quick & communicative. I booked a queen size room & it was perfect for myself and my other. Showers are spacious and the AC stayed blowing cold all night. There is a bar/lounge directly Nextdoor so it’s a little noisy when you actually step outside but I didn’t have any annoyance through the night, they also provide a sound cancelling machine if that is an issue you run into. Overall my experience was great and I would 10/10 recommend and book here again.

Queen Bed Review

We stayed here for a short visit, and overall it turned out to be a simple, clean, no-frills place with a few things to appreciate and a few things future guests should be prepared for.

On the bright side, even though the building is older, the cleanliness really stood out. The room had useful basics like a fridge, microwave, handwash, paper towels, a hair dryer, and a lamp with charging ports. There was even a sound machine, which was a nice surprise. On entry, there was a strong bleach smell, but it actually signaled that the room had been freshly cleaned.

A few things to know ahead of time: there was no mirror of any size in the room itself – only a small mirror in the bathroom, which makes dressing up or getting ready a bit tricky. There were also no hangers, no iron, and the bathroom had no exhaust fan. The in-room coffee maker was rusty, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it.

Comfort-wise, the mattress and comforter weren’t great, and I woke up with some back pain. The shower flow was very weak, and because the curtains have ring gaps, light comes through, so a sleep mask definitely helps.

If you’re looking for a clean budget stay and can prepare for a few comfort limitations, this place can still work. Bringing your own small essentials can make the stay smoother.

The room was as it was pictured. It was very clean and smelled clean as soon as you walked in the door. The check-in process was super easy as well. The on site manager is absolutely amazing and super nice! We will definitely be going back here when we go down to Florida again. There is a bar next door but we didn't hear anything from over there except a couple of the bikes that left out.

No-Frills Clean & Comfortable with a Retro-Vibe

I make regular roadtrips to Florida and I usually stop in Titusville to visit with friends.
I have only stayed at the Travel Inn because it's quiet, clean, no-frills, but cleanliness and comfort are priorities to me, and also they are dog-friendly, and do not overcharge for non-service dogs to stay there with their owners.
I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a convenient and quiet place to stay at.
It's got an old Florida nostalgic vibe as it is very retro.
The rooms are like little bungalows where each door opens to the outside, so the guest can come-and-go as they please without having to go through a lobby and interact with anyone.
The property manager lives onsite, so if there's every any issues, or you need an extra towel, or whatever, she is available to help during business hours.

The rooms are very clean and very quiet. It's only 30min from Port Canaveral and close to Kennedy Space Center. There is a bikers bar next door but you won't hear it. The lady on the phone was very helpful. I will stay there again.

Our stay was great! The check in process was very simple. The little bar and grill next was alot of fun. My only complaint is that the walls are super thin so you can hear EVERYTHING!!!! But that is beyond the staffs control. I would definitely stay again. This hotel doesn't have all the bells and whistles as a chain hotel but its cute and very clean.

Definitely not what was shown in the pictures

The room was actually clean and OK. But the biggest bummer was that the room was nothing like the photos. I picked traditional room because based on photos it was nice, clean, relatively large and bright. But my room was pretty small and with no window! I don't think I have ever stayed in a room with no window. I didn't care much because I was exhausted and just wanted a place to sleep for one night But I had to write the review because of the the fact that it was misleading in this level. And warn others if they are picking this place based on photos.

Not too happy about the Suprise 24 hour cancel fee. I have never experienced this in the US before. They said they would return my money if the room could be rented. They only have in total maybe 8 rooms and it was a launch day. My daughter saw the pictures and was afraid to stay there.

The furnitures are modern and the space is spacious. It feels like a converted garage. Overall, the 1-nt stay was pleasant because we just needed a convenient place by the space center. The flooring was new but felt sticky like it’s only mopped with water. There were 3 roaches found in the bathroom: 2 medium, 1 small. I leaned against the sink and one crawled on me and I didn’t notice until I felt a bite. I have never been bit by a roach before. Took pictures.

Check in was ok. Staff weet was polite. The furniture and AC in room was probably 20 years old and on its last leg. The bed pillows were 1 inch thick and felt like sleeping on cardboard. The worst part is the biker bar next door. Loud music and people yelling outside the bar till 2am was horrible. I would never recommend or stay here again. The only nice thing was the manager who recommended a great place to get dinner.

I stayed recently in the family suite. We did a few nights as we were heading to a cruise. It was a good location to the port. The place is just ok. Off the main road so it was a bit noisy. It’s also a little buggy but not too many. This was budget friendly and was ok for the few nights. There is no actual front desk type of check in. The owners live on the property so you have to call the number on the office door to check in. The room was nice overall. However one of the nights there was a situation with a female and it sounded a bit scary and it was loud and right outside my room. The situation happened in the early mornings around 330am. I was a little worried as it sounded like an agreement or the lady was getting in trouble for something. In that moment I was thinking why i didn’t book a high rise type hotel. The situation did settle down after about 30 minutes.
But still worried in that moment. Overall this place was an ok location and the owner was nice. Room was cozy and nice.

Do NOT stay there — roaches and more

We could not even stay there, we checked in about 8pm and when I closed the blinds cockroaches weee crawling all over. The room also smelled and the bathroom was missing part of the towel hanger and no place for towels or toiletries. The windows and archway were deteriorated and the outside was noisy with a bar right next door. There was no front desk and no one answering in the evening so we had to leave and move to another hotel. I asked for a refund and was ghosted

You Get What You Pay For

Check in didnt go well. My receipt from hotels.com showed we paid for first night. Travel Inn did not receive any payment from them. Floor of the room was dirty. This is a bare bones motel. Heard the people in the next room coughing all night. There was some kind of blanket type thing hanging that I guess was either to deaden the noise or hide the door to the adjoining room. The bright side was the Pinto Lounge next door. Great prices on drinks.

We were surprised at how cool this place was. A blast from the past as far as all ground level accommodations. We didn't have to drag suitcases up stairs or down halls. The bed was pristine, and the room clean. We were staying just one night before boarding a cruise ship. We wouldn't hesitate to book again if the opportunity presented itself. The check in process was easy.

We liked the way that we can collect the key at the office box at our convenient time. The properties gardens are neglected, does not look like the nice pictures you see on the internet when making the booking. The rooms are small, outdated and the linnen on beds feel cheap, the matress did not sleep very good! There we only a shampoo in the shower, no other shower Toiletries were provided. The one ply toilet paper was awful. We also had black mold in our bathroom. The shower head was bad, water was poorly coming out witch made showering unpleasant. There were no hair dryer in the room. We only got 2 towels, 2 face cloths nothing ekstra. The trash can had no liner. Would've been nice to have ekstra towels as ladies need to wash their hair. Other then that it was nice to receive texts about our booking instructions. It was a nice gesture to get some water in the room. Im just saying all of this so that hopefully the property will improve.

Motel was \"eh\" at best. The queen room is definitely not big enough for 2 people for a week. The room wasn't dirty, but it definitely needs a deep cleaning. The bathroom needs a major update and grout cleaning. The pictures promote the new suite and don't really show the older units. I wasn't going to review at all, but the fact that the toilet clogged Sunday night (I waited till Monday morning to message the owner) and it wasn't taken care of until 7pm!! Since we used Monday as our down day before our long drive home, we were in the room all day and had to drive to the gas station all day to use the facilities. Totally not acceptable, we should get a refund for that day. Not worth the money, I should have sucked it up and paid the extra $300 for the week at a comfort inn or best western, at least we would have gotten breakfast too.

Subsequently, the owner replied to another review, she said they visited my room to assist several times with various requests - we only requested more coffee and towels - once during the week, never even asked for housekeeping. She also tried to tell us that we flushed a roll of toilet paper accidentally, causing the clog - it was just poop. Then she said the room lamp was destroyed due to a large medical device being plugged into the outlet, I told her about the outlet being fried within an hour after arrival.

Worst motel I ever stayed.
1.The place directly facing a very busy road. No fence. Definitely not for children.
2. One physical key opens both locks on the door. There is no safety lock mechanism from inside. Not safe.
3. The window locks are broken. Someone can easily open them from outside.
4. Bed and night stand are dirty
5. No chair in the room.
6. The listing misled customers by showing bathroom of a different room type. The bathroom is really horrible.

The room has a queen size bed, but only one light blanket. It should have had a second blanket, both because it can and did get cold( 48 degrees F ) if someone else had been with me, they would have needed their own blanket. As it was, I had to double over my blanket to get semi-comfortable. The second issue I had was the lack of hot water in the shower. The sign in the room said to be patient waiting for hot water. At 4:30 AM, I waited 8 minutes, and still didn’t get even warm water. Totally unacceptable. The hot water in the bathroom sink got hot in less than a minute. The walls in my room are fairly thin. I could hear condensations from the adjoining room.

Bed was clean, bathroom was clean (though do not look under the bed nor on the window sill). Bed was very, very soft (be prepared to roll onto one another if two people of more than 5ft8 sleep in there) and the bed's fitted sheet was two small for the mattress given that it had a massive plastic cover and two extra blankety things under the fitted sheet, which kept popping off, meaning you end up sleeping on a plastic sheet. Only one chair in the room and a very small folding desk. This was both a business and leisure trip - we could not both work on our computers adequately at the same time. Lack of hooks and no towel rack in the bathroom. Very bright security light facing the window and glass door all night. Impossible to get full darkness in the room. No manual for the aircon unit: it is supposed to have a noise cancelling feature to block traffic noise, but good luck finding how that works.

The entire floor was sticky and immediately walking in a smell!! There was no shower curtain so when i took a shower the water got on the floor and i had to clean it up because the rug provided didnt catch nearly enough of the spray.
There was loud music playing the entire night and we couldn't get any sleep. It felt completely unsafe staying here. There are no hosts so who could you talk to about noise?! We couldn't wait to check out!
Limited parking, the spots where the rooms are were all full so we had to park near the road which in an unknown area to us. The room looked nothing like the pictures and i thought there was a tub which is why i chose this place and there was just a shower.

Check in process was horrible.The instructions were not clear. they leave all keys out in a mailbox with numbers to the rooms also in the email we received there was no room # and no way to verify what room was ours. Called 5 times and no one picked up operator said to text the number and I did with no reply.

Overall, a sweet little property, very clean, tidy, and quiet.

There were a few concerns, like a can of Raid Flea Control on the sink (!), and no shower curtain and no floor mat (so it was impossible to not soak the floor, though we tried to be so careful), and one place where the faux wood flooring was lifting up and creating a trip hazard.
The thing that was most annoying, however, was the plastic mattress cover coupled with the microfiber sheets— the bed was crinkly and so, so HOT.

As is clearly stated in their site information, there is no “front desk”; one collects a key from a mailbox. This worked smoothly for us. I merely mention it because other reviewers have not.

If you're looking for a secluded cabin in the woods then Travel Inn is not for you. But if you just need a nice inexpensive, clean, simple place to stay then Travel Inn is perfect. Friendly, helpful staff (although partially virtual), good wifi, good AC, microwave and fridge and a comfortable bed: all you need for a short-term, home base setup at great value

Cute little property for a night stay before boarding a cruise ship. Clean room and easy to locate keys at check-in then also easy to find room.
Only downside for us was there wasnt a trash can in the room/bathroom and there was only 1 washcloth for two people listed to be in the room. Since we didnt arrive until 1am, it was too late for us to disturb the property manager so we will just make everything work. Minor issues for us. Not that great.

Room was just ok. Old and showing its age. Many layers of paint over paint. Electrical outlet was opened and falling out of the wall. Toilet seat was loose. AC struggled to keep up. Towel rack in the bath was broken. Floor was dirty. Tv remote only worked when a foot from the tv. Two water bottles were supposed to be provided and were missing. Our room was next to a bar that was very loud until 2am. The guest next door to us clearly missed the no smoking rule and we had the smell of cigarettes for our stay. Overall, not super impressed. We would go elsewhere next time.

My husband and I stayed at this motel for one night before a cruise leaving from Port Canaveral and did the same thing about 18 months ago, so this was our second stay here. Our first stay here was great, which is why we decided to book again for this cruise. However, there were several issues ranging from minor inconvenience to a major safety concern that have made me rethink staying here in the future. To start with the minor inconveniences, we were missing hand soap in the bathroom and we got in late, so we just used body soap as hand soap. Our toilet paper roll was also empty on arrival, so we had to place a new one up ourselves. Not really a big deal, but just thought I should mention.

Now onto the serious concerns, shortly after we got into the room, we realized that there was not a single window in our room. I HATE waking up in the dark, so this was frustrating. However, I then started thinking about the potential major safety concern here-there’s only one point of egress from the room. If that were blocked in an emergency, you’d have no way out. There’s a tiny window in the bathroom that would be too small for most people to get through and also too high (I’d guess the bottom of the window was about 5ft off the ground). Windows must be no higher than 44 inches off the ground to be considered a point of egress, so I’m curious how they have not been cited for code violations.

Lastly, I noticed that there was no fire alarm in the ceiling (see attached picture). Turns

It was fine for the price, but mildew in the shower is a turn off for me. I can handle old but cleanliness is key. They look like they are upgrading the outside, which looks like it will be nice.

There was no AC & the remote did not work for the TV. The TV did not work either, batteries were corroded inside the remote. We were not offered another room & the girl
Working there said she would refund our money, they never did. Would not recommend this place, still waiting on refund. We were there for no more then 20mins & left.
