Everything was good, cleanliness, space, friendly & helpful staffs, location & etc. The only discomfort I had was the thin layer of futon mattress. The blanket was warm and comfortable but the mattress was very thin. Not comfortable to sleep on.

The hotel is at an excellent location although the decor is a bit dated. The room is big with a balcony overlooking the famous Shirahama beach.
The hotel staff were the most helpful. The lady staff was in the phone with various parties to help us sort out our punctured tire on the day we checked out. Sorry I didn’t get her name but she was the only female staff there on the morning of 3 Nov 2023. Thank you so much!

Meals - we picked a package come with both breakfast and dinner, both are delicious and with varieties of dishes. The meals are quite heavy and you won’t get starve after a while. The quality are superb with local seasons ingredients.
Room - has a standalone water closet close to the room entrance, and the hot spring bathtub and shower area are next to the balcony. Dedicated staff will make the bed over the tatami after dinner, the staff is quick and efficient, and you will be impressed with their skills and efficiency. Location by the beach
Location was right by the beach as advertised. It's about a 20 minute drive from the JR station but the hotel has a free shuttle bus that you can hop on at specific timings to get to and fro the station. Service was less than desirable - there was no one to help us lug our luggage up the slope to the hotel so we ended up struggling with our luggage. This is a basic service that I would have expected a hotel to provide. Hotel room was decent but the service really marred the experience. Also, during checkout, we were told to pay local tax on top of the amount we had paid through hotels.com, so this caught us by surprise. Amount was not that substantial but I think it should have been stated upfront that local tax was applicable and was not covered by the amount payable through hotels.com

The tatami/futon room was very spacious and the view overlooking Shirahama bay was beautiful. Were able to experience both Onsens, which were wonderful. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet that offered a wide range of foods from standard American fare (croissant, scrambled eggs, sausages) to the delicious Japanese offerings. Especially loved the grilled salmon, onsen eggs, miso soup, Japanese bread, egg rolls, oh so many good things.

南紀旅行の最後で、三楽荘の湯♨️と食事を楽しみにしていました。熊野鬼ヶ城から那智勝浦を廻り、2泊3日の最後の旅程で白浜へ。三段壁、千畳敷と最後に円月島へ。丁度夕刻で円月島の真ん中に夕陽が下りてきて、最高の写真が撮れました。ところが、その直後、テトラを踏み外して、アッと思ったら、左からがぶらぶら！骨折してしまいました…自力で救急車で呼んで病院へ。一応の診察と治療をしてもらいましたが、この後、自宅のある愛知へどうやって帰ろうか、今夜どうする？
三楽荘に連絡してとりあえず予定通りに一晩泊めてもらうことにしました。すると病院まで迎えに来て頂いた上に、円月島に置いてあった車まで持ってきてくれました。その後、大阪にいる娘が特急くろしおで駆けつけてくれ、翌朝無事に愛知まで帰り、病院の診察を受けることができました。三楽荘の皆さんにはご心配をおかけし、骨折した私を皆さんが気遣ってくださいました。車まで持ってきてもらい、治るまでお預かりもいいですよと言って頂き娘の宿泊にも便宜を図って頂きました。ちなみに、骨折してたのにも関わらず、料理は美味しくすべて頂きました。片手しか使えない私を気遣ってもらい完食しました。お酒が飲めなかったこと、湯に浸かることが出来なかったことが残念でしたが、湯に入った娘は凄くいい湯だった❗️今度また来たい❗️と言ってました。本当にありがとうございました。骨折が完治したら、是非再訪させて頂きます。勿論、世話をかけた娘と家族に感謝を込めて皆で宿泊させて頂きます。その際はよろしくお願いします。

위치는 상당히 좋았어요. 바로 앞에 시라하마 해변이 있어서 접근성은 좋았다고 생각해요. 저녁도 호텔 내부에서 가격에 포함되어 있어서 정해진 시간에 규칙대로 주는 것도 좋았어요. 그러나 오전에 조식을 먹기로 하였어도, 안먹을 수도 있는데 아침마다 꼭 전화가 와서 한편으론 알려주셔서 좋았지만 아침마다 매번 전화벨이 울리니 스트레스를 받았어요. 시라하마역에서 셔틀버스도 돌아갈 때 오전 빼고 없는 것은 아쉬웠어요. 전반적인 직원들은 상당히 친절했어요. 마지막으로 12시 정도에 방 청소가 시작되는데 그 때 타이밍을 맞추지 못하면, 방을 치워주지 않았어요. 그게 아쉬웠습니다.
