The Good:
The only saving grace of this stay was the mattress, which was surprisingly comfortable.

The Bad:
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was a letdown. While the lobby looks updated, it’s a \"smoke and mirrors\" situation; the actual property is in poor shape and functions like an old-school motel with outdoor room entries. This requires keeping your shades bolted shut at all times if you want any semblance of privacy.

Room Quality & Cleanliness:

Hygiene: Found dark hairs in the sink upon arrival—definitely not cleaned properly.

Air Quality: As a non-smoker, the night was miserable. The in-wall HVAC units pull air directly from the outdoor walkway, meaning I smelled cigarettes and weed most of the night.

Breakfast: Extremely limited. If you don't want a waffle or juice, you’re out of luck.

Service:
Check-out was impersonal and ghost-town style; I had to leave my key in a basket because no staff was present.

Verdict:
Save your money and look elsewhere in Dalton. The comfortable bed doesn't make up for the lack of cleanliness and the constant smell of smoke.

I will sue this place. Rudest most disrespectful staff/ownership. Woke up to them beating down my door at 11:00 when I didn’t check out in time. Unbelievable. They tried to force the door open when I was buck naked. After I paid late check out fee. They treated me like an animal.

Upon arrival we checked in and went to our first rm. There was a huge stain on the sheet. Changed rooms. Second room bedside lamp was smoking. A left over item from a previous guest. Before leaving we saw a roach. There were hangers but nowhere to hang anything. The blow dryer plug was cracked and I was afraid to use it! Would NOT recommend to ANYONE!

I had stayed a night at a Quality Inn in Cape Girardeau last night, and it had a nice pool and a good breakfast spread. For that reason, I tried this Quality Inn. The pool was totally green and not usable -- looked like it had been that way for awhile. It would have been nice if the website had mentioned that. Also, the breakfast selection wasn't as good as the one from yesterday, either.

Check in was fine, room was updated, there was a male hotel staff that was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was there coaching for the weekend and some of my players came to the pool, there was less than 10 people there including my girls. The guy came out rude and told us to leave. After we checked out, my daughter realized she left something in the room and we called to see about paying for it to be mailed to us. The first time I was hung up on, second time he seemed to act like he was looking, and then my daughter called in tears. He took her number but I doubt that he will call. Would not recommend this place for more than a one night solo stay.

Good little place to stay. We were in town for a softball tournament over 4 days, so not in room much. Only given 2 towels and 2 wash clothes although 4 people in the room. They were switched out once, for a set of 1 towel and 1 wash cloth. When asked for extra through out the week was told they didn’t have extra. (Kinda need extra when hot and sweaty from a long day on the field.) Finally got extra sets last night we were there.

You get what you expect for the money you pay. The room was clean and the front desk service was friendly. The breakfast was simple but sufficient. They had bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee, orange/ apple / cranberry juice; the only hot choice was waffles. We only stayed one night and I would stay again.

I was driving 1200 miles and needed a place to stop over. I was fortunate to pull off and find this hotel through my hotels.com app. Check in was easy, the staff member was friendly. I appreciated being able to park right in front of my room. The room was clean and had a refrigerator/freezer which I needed. This was a short stay, but great. I may stay again on my drive back.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. Upon arrival, my husband and children were met with urine stains on the bedding. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, we were dismissed and told we were not looking at the \"blanket,\" as if that somehow excused the issue. A staff member, clearly irritated, entered our room uninvited and, rather than addressing our concerns respectfully, began yelling and pointing his finger in my face stating that there is no stain on the sheets ( which I have a picture of). My husband had to intervene and ask him to stop.

Feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, we decided to vacate the property immediately. When we attempted to return the key and request a refund, the staff escalated the situation unnecessarily by calling the police after we requested to speak to a manager. After reviewing the photos we had taken of the stained bedding, even the responding officer agreed that we should be issued a refund. Despite this, the property still refused. We now have an official report and intend to pursue this matter further through the appropriate channels. This experience was not only disappointing but completely unacceptable

The front desk people were rude. Then the room was absolutely filthy and so run down. 😥 never will use a Quality Inn again. Will be contacting Quality in for a refund. Had we not been traveling with 2 kids we would have left. The floors were so dirty their feet were black. There was one trash can and no extra bag for trash.

The pictures were not actually what the MOTEL looks like. The bathrooms were horrific the windows were old there were gaps in the doors that when you closed the door to your room you could see outside. The room smelled like smoke. Upon arrival to the room we experienced groups of people “hanging out” outside their rooms. It was very uncomfortable. I will NEVER stay here again

I am led to believe the bedding is not being properly washed. my room also smelled extremely musty the entire time I was there. I went to microwave my daughter bottle and the microwave had something spilled in it and was let there to dry out. I was so grossed out, I even showered with my sandals on. It’s one thing viewing their company pictures but in reality it was completely opposite.

Booked a room while driving to rest for the night with our two dogs. The night clerk was friendly, I was surprised to learn I needed to pay a pet fee, I did not see that mentioned anywhere. The lobby looked newly remodeled, it was bright and welcoming. We received a double room instead of the king I requested but it wasn’t a big deal. The room was remodeled, appeared clean at first glance. Hair in the shower, dirty floors, poor paint job. However, the beds were clean, extremely comfortable, and we slept well. Ac worked great. Our tv had damage to the screen. Traffic was a little noisy outside but we slept through it.

Don't have good customer service won't be back

When I checked in I was not charged a deposit I stayed the first day and night then my second day I left and came back that evening and was locked out of my room. I went to the office and was told I have to pay $100 deposit or leave and wouldn't be able to get my stuff out of the room. I had to call my mother in Louisiana to get the money sent to me so I could get back in my room and stay because my mom already had paid for the room for me for 2 nights $145.
I don't see how they can get away with doing that after I already stayed the night before. That's not right and I won't be staying there again and will tell everyone about it and they won't stay because if you don't charge the deposit at check in you shouldn't be able to charge it a night and day later.
My family has stayed at alot of hotel and they never did this. My mom spends alot of money on rooms because she gets rooms all the time just because and this has never happened and none of us will come to this place again.

When checking in she was courteous and friendly.
We chose this hotel because of the pool. It was clean and we enjoyed it.
The room was clean but this building is older and needs a lot of work. Our shower curtain was broken and did not want to hang on the rings because they were all broke. The hangers were broken. Patches on the walls were not done very good. The ice machine was out of order and there were no vending machines. The \"hot\" breakfast was waffles. Milk for the cereal was left in a dirty pitcher so the milk smelled sour. I would stay here again because of the pool and the room was clean.

Room smelled of covered up cigarette smoke. Floor was FILTHY and when I complained they sent someone with a wet mop and empty bucket so they didn't really clean anything. NO hot water in the shower. AND to finish my short stay I found a bug crawling on the table in the morning when I woke up. Very nice girl didn't look surprised as I was taking too manager/owner about floor.

I was fairly impressed, typically don’t pick Quality Inns but traveling with another couple that needed a pet friendly place. Being that we did not have a pet, My husband and I had a king bed and our room was in the front of building, opposite side from traffic. Although nothing fancy, the room was very clean and without odor. We had a coffee maker and decent tv stations. Breakfast was fair: cereal, yogurt, bagels, hard boiled eggs (very rubbery), and waffles.
If you are looking for a clean safe short night stay, not to bad a choice.

We checked in and went to our room and was met with it already being occupied by roaches. The floors look like carpet in the online photos but they are not. It's vinyl flooring so if it rains and you go in your room be prepared to bust your butt. Also the bath fan , top of the fridge (wife wrote her name in it ) and other areas have not been cleaned. Very unsatisfied

The posting is false. The property is not connected to a convention center. The property is dated and feels unsafe. The front side is not being booked at all only the back. The trash of old room items is piled back there. I booked 2 rooms, my non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The door had gaps in it through which sunlight filtered in. I planned for my teenagers to have one room and I the other, but we didn't feel safe enough to do that. After, I killed a bug in the window and found black specks in the bed, we left. We stayed no more than an hour. They should be ashamed to not offer a refund for such a short, unsatisfactory experience. I just wasted my money. I drank a mountain dew and completed the rest of my trip. I certainly couldn't stay there.
