Breakfast was not a buffet - just a glorified continental with a waffle maker.

The door locks didn’t work and had to be replaced (still didn’t work with the card keys even after it was replaced). The shower leaked the entire time we were there.

Location was near a train track so don’t expect much sleep without earplugs.

The walls are paper thin, we could hear our neighbors using the restroom often. And the bed frame sounded like a file cabinet when you rolled over.

There were light blocking blinds but the light went around them so bring a sleep mask.

On the plus side, the AC worked, the staff was mostly helpful, and the mini-fridge was quite good.

Overall, the location was not the best and it felt quite run-down for a “quality inn”. Despite the cheaper price, I would not recommend this over a motel 6 or equivalent.

The staff was quite friendly and interested in making my stay enjoyable. The room was fresh and updated but needs a few things improved. The handicap accessible room had a faulty, nonworking deadbolt and a very low toilet height not conducive for handicap use. The step-in shower was clean, but lacked a hand sprayer. Overall, I would recommend anyone considering staying at this hotel at very reasonable rates..

This trip was for pleasure. Hotel accommodation were adequate but could use some upgrades. Service was very good. Breakfast could have been much better. Reservation were not available because hotel never received them. They had to begin from scratch!

Working out of town (construction) not expecting to stay at some highend place just need a place to crash for the night. After working my way through the Crackhead gaunlet on the way to the room. I got in the room and the front door was broke and wouldnt shut. All good I carry, so is what it is. The adjoining room door was held closed by a chair in my room. Again is what it is. The bed was covered in stains (happy time stains). All good ill sleep in the computer chair, it was late just need to crash. But it was the cockroaches that put it over the top and had me turn around and check out. For $110-130 a night your not looking for high end but definitely would like a clean room that your not bringing travelers back home with you.

I would not recommend this place, especially if you’re visiting a student that goes Lander University.( You’re already tired from traveling and stressed )I checked in at 2pm everything was good. I was rushing to get to the university to move my son in, so I really didn’t inspect my room good.When I got my son moved into his dorm the only thing I wanted was to relax. I pulls up(around 8 at night) people standing outside kids hanging off balconies, people were loud it was Terrible! Went in my room hit the lights walls had old stains. The back of toilet was dusty and the Ac was not working and it was dusty. Tried to use the phone that’s was on the night stand it didn’t work. I got out of there real quick. I went to front desk, asked for another room because I didn’t have anywhere else to go. So me and the clerk went to check out an available room and it was people still there! I was like mam just give me a refund. That’s not it. Instead of her giving a refund she charged me again. She tried to argue with me so I said, I’ll call my bank and they confirmed that the hotel charged me twice. Not to mention the room was 117.00. They took out a total of $234.00. So now I’m broke. I have to wait 7 business days to get my money back, and drive 1 hour and 15 minutes back to Greenville. Please do not stay there it’s drug infested

When we arrived they double charged me. I paid on Expedia but couldn’t find it. The room door was open & tools were in the room and the room was in a disarray. I told the staff but they didn’t do anything about it beside yell for a maintenance man at the pool to come get the tools. The bed had a huge indent on one side. I should not be in the room. It was so uncomfortable that my back was killing me the next morning. The bathtub had a bunch of dirt in the bottom. We couldn’t even shower in it. They had no shampoo or soap. They only had conditioner on the wall. The coffee maker looked like it hadn’t been used in years. We didn’t even use it. There was a bunch of people with kids in a room 2 doors down from us. The kids were running around at all hours of the night unsupervised. I am talking about kids under 3. They kept knocking on our door to show us their suckers. There was also a man that appeared to be on drugs that was slumped over on the stairs beside our room that just stained into his phone that made us uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I did let the staff know that I would like a refund but they said that they couldn’t do it. I am very disappointed.

We arrived at 1: 30am, Lobby was nice, room was not. Toilet was broken. Had to go get a different room. The bed was clean, sink was clean. The entire perimeter around the edge of the room was filthy. Weren't there long enough to need to use the shower, it was so-so. Not sure we would want to. Second room had large chunks broken out of tiles in the bathroom. The breakfast was so-so. Several cooking implements were broken, which left us less choices. Quality definitely does not describe this hotel chain. We were very disappointed.

The check in process was easy and the staff were very friendly. The room air conditioning was already on, so that was very nice coming in from the heat. The room itself was clean, tv worked fine, and the shower was hot. The poor rating comes from a few things that were not good. The pool and area surrounding the pool are disgusting. The pool has green slime around the walls. The water is extremely cloudy like it was just shocked. I wouldn’t let my child swim. The grounds had tall grass and the concrete around the pool has big cracks and holes. The area around the pool smelled like sewer. The second floor landing is full of Brocken ice machine parts. The second floor also has a strong odor or weed. The shower/tub has rust looking spots all in it. My son thought it was blood. The shower curtain is pretty brown at the bottom. Overall I would not return here.

we reported a broken toilet and were promised 3 times a repairman would come and never did. There were workmen staying in all the rooms surrounding us who were very noisy late at night and very early in the morning. We were told the hotel was fully booked and they could not give us another room

Oh where do i start? Upon arrival. The check in clerk was rude. They sprung a $50 deposit on us that wasn't mentioned when i booked the room. When i said something about it they said it was on their website. Fine print i guess. And then they said they would have to see if they had a smoking room available...ummm thats why we booked at this particular place. Then the room ugh...wires hanging out of the wall where the smoke detector was supposed to be. Toilet paper roll holder pulled out of the wall. The side tables by the bed had dried spilled soda on them. Spot above the main door into the room had water damaged and the ceiling was peeling. The refrigerator had what looked to be smeared chocolate in it. The floor had several loose panels. Whoever did the remodel did a pisspoor job. Painting over rust on baseboards. And the extended stay guest had children running wild. It was cold and raining and toddler probably no older then 2 was running up and down in front of the rooms butt naked. Then there were kids up above us stomping and jumping around. And lets not forget the smell of Marijuana. Several other guest also said something about this. It was very \"loud\" needless to say we will not be staying here again.

There was no electricity due to Hurricane Helene- the entire reason for traveling to this motel. Even still, there was no warning when booking. Most of Greenwood had power, but these folks took my money without forewarning and no regard for customer service. Reached out for refund- we didn’t stay when we arrived & saw the lack of power- but no word from management yet. Beware before spending your hard earned money on a total bust

The bed was very comfortable and they allowed for early check in which was helpful since we arrived into town early. The comforter was stained, as was one of the pillows inside the case, the carpet was sticky, I kept my flip flops on. The fridge had a missing leg so it rocked every time you opened it, I propped it up with the lotion bottle. Around 7 pm I realized the room had no towels (probably because of our early check in), when I went to the lobby to request towels, I was met with annoyance and was told she didn't know if she had any.... I said..... I have zero towels. She then threw them on the counter. At least we got a shower, although there was a 6\"x4\" hole cut out at the top of the shower. Then I realized there was no remote, after the annoyance at the front desk i didn't bother. The wifi was so slow it was unusable and I used my phones hot spot for my devises. for $85 this room was a disappointment.

I wasnt expecting much for the price and i was not shocked when it was very dirty and had roaches. My first room had piles of dirt and dog hair everywhere. They moved me to another room that was even worse. Before i could say anything the owner came and said we needed to move because that room had a leak. The 3rd room was cleaner but the ceiling in the bathroom had black mold all over the ceiling and i saw 2 different roaches. The people that work there are super nice but the room and premises was very very lacking!

The fire alarm was disconnected and not in the room. Had no choice whether or not room cleaning would be done. Walls are paper thin and could barely sleep because of how loud other people were. The hotel is old grimy and not clean. Was worried about getting broken in to the whole time. The room service lady was banging on our door by 9 am everyday even if we were trying to sleep in. Will not ever stay here again or recommend it

The term handicap accessible should mean more than a door wide enough to allow a wheelchair to pass through. Door to the bathroom opened into a bed preventing full opening. Shower had a ski ramp in the opening. Very unpleasant stay.

This was one of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed. The floors were so filthy the dog wouldn't even lay on them. There was gross stuff stuck to the wall in the shower, tv, phone, and most lamps did not work. It was Christmas Eve and there was not a lot of options or we would have left. Not a good stay at all.

Worst hotel experience I had!

I called the property at 930pm to tell them i would be arriving near midnight. The clerk told me no problem see you then. My wife and i arrived just before midnight after driving from south Florida. No clerk in the lobby and the lobby wide open. We called the phone number to the property no answer. We called Quality Inn customer service who then tried to contact someone at the property and no answer. We called hotels.com to getthem to help. They too tried calling all phone numbers associated with the property, and still no answer. A homeless manwas sleeping in a chair in the lobby we were there for an hour before we abandoned all hope of accessing our booked room and went to a different hotel. I have used hotels.com and have stayed at some sub par locations but this one takes the cake. I recommend you book elsewhere and don't waste your time with this location. In fact let me roccemend the Baymont by Windham that was more than accomadating to a travelling couple at 1am.

Bath faucet was broken and running all night. PTAC units were set so you can never turn off the high pitch squeak. Inscence sticks and ash were scattered in front of the ac unit and the chair. And, the ac unit put out so much condensation that you walk thru the puddles just before walking down the slippery steps. Who decided to paint the concrete? It was so slippery on those steps.

This motel says it's pet friendly. I paid the 15/night. It was me and my kids and our dog. My partner was meeting us later. Kids wanted to go to the pool and we were told you can't leave dogs unattended in room. The sign for the pool said no dogs in the pool, not the pool area. I got yelled at for having a dog in the pool area. I asked what am I supposed to do with my dog and he said \"I don't know what to tell you\". I ended up having to put my dog in the car so my kids could swim. The pool had bugs in it. The area surrounding the pool had junk all over the place. The least of their concerns should be my dog. The room also only had tiny towels. The hot water ran out and the shower and sink drains got clogged and wouldn't drain very well. There was a fishy odor coming from them as well. I won't stay here again. I did like that it's beside a pizza place that we enjoyed thoroughly. The price does reflect the experience so I'll keep that in mind next time.
