Parking was the best part about this place. My room smelled like a science project and dog mess. I was way too tired when I came in as I had traveled 800 miles and couldnt drive further otherwise I would have kept going. A town just north 15 minutes in Arnold , MO has a drury and pear tree inn and was waaay nicer on all accounts not much more.

The check in staff was very personable and courteous - but the room seemed to be in need of maintenance (toilet didn't want to flush easily, shower head flange wasn't connected, tub drain seemed like it would clog at any miute). And even though it was a smoke-free hotel, it did seem to smell of smoke in the hallways and even in the room. The breakfast was pretty well over even though there was a half hour to go. But the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet on a Thursday night!

Bathroom shower/tub combo had a ring around it so wife didn't use it. Bed sheets kept coming off at the corners which was unpleasant trying to sleep.

This hotel had some good points and some others that could use work.
1st the good:
Shower pressure
Good freezer(room wise)(temp)
The heater and ac unit worked great and kept the room comfortable
They had blackout drapes and the room was black as it could be. Loved this!

Bad:
The fan in the bathroom was noisy and was attached to the light so you had to hear it if you got up in the middle of the night
The refrigerator was in need of a defrost there was no room for food due to the ice build up.
No one came and cleaned the room or emptied the trash in the 4 nights i was there
Of the 4 nights i was there the wifi didnt work for 3 of them, i ended up using my hotspot for work and it cost me almost whatva night in the hotel would run in additional cost to my phone bill.

All in all i would give this hotel a 2.5 out of 5 and thats only because of the good things they had that most other hotels do not have.

This location needs an upgrade. It was adequate, but I wouldn't stay again unless there were no other options. Worn carpet, peeling/chipping paint, bath/shower had been repainted, but the paint was coming off, etc. Staff was friendly and worked hard, but there's only so much you can do with limited tools.

Good place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, fridge in room. The breakfast bar is nice. Plenty of restaurants are nearby and a Schnucks grocery store is close.

My only complaint would be that I didn't see any shampoo in the bathroom or sink area. Most hotels provide shampoo.

Overall, however, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

The lobby, hallway, stairs, and lobby restroom were poorly maintained, filthy worn chairs in the lobby and there was an unpleasant odor everywhere I went.

Overall a decent place for a night’s sleep

Room seemed clean but there were at least 10 hairs on the bed which stood out since they were dark black and the linens were all white. The lamp by the bed had numerous rust spots where the finish wore off. Only 2 bath towels in the room & no towel for floor. I didn’t notice till after I gave my 2 toddlers a bath or I would have got extra towels. I was alone with my 2 & 4 yr old and needed to get them to sleep so I didn’t want to take them down to the front desk for extra or leave them alone & no staff available to bring any at night. If you want room service you have to give them 24 hour notice to get it. Just a FYI, didn’t affect us since we stayed 1 night only. The food on breakfast buffet was pretty standard but decent overall. The diced potatoes were very spicy but some people may prefer that. Probably the best part of the stay was having the hot buffet breakfast of sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy & waffles really. It was nice having a mini fridge to keep milk cold for my youngest. Location was okay, close to the funeral we were in town to attend. Room temp was great & AC worked well. Staff interaction was minimal but they were nice, just not very outgoing, like didn’t greet you or say anything unless you spoke to them first like at check in.

Pulled into the parking lot and was immediately met with two men wandering the lot that were quite obviously on drugs and talking to themselves, very unkept. Upon walking in, we waited a few minutes at the front before being acknowledged. No one was around, nor was there any way to indicate to staff there was someone present (like a bell). I always check the room before bringing my belongings in just in case, so this was no different. The smell of the entire third floor was so strong and even filled up the room. Checked the room and it was dirty and dusty, with yellow stains all over the mattress and what looked like bed bug droppings on the mattress upon check. Immediately we went down to inform the front desk we would not be staying there and was refused a refund. Found a different hotel to stay in for the night.

The property appears to have had some exterior refresh done, but the rooms definitely are needing refreshed. The room carpet felt damp; when we requested fresh towels on the second day of our stay the employee we asked did not speak english and told me he didn't have but one towel? No one was at the desk when we tried to check out, so I never got a printed paid invoice from my stay?

The motel was older than expected and needs a bit of updating, BUT it was very clean and OK. The service was good. Breakfast was very well monitored and they had the best fluffy eggs I've ever had in a motel breakfast. Price seemed high for the amenities, but other than that I would stay here again.

Room had terrible musky smell and floor was wet from ac unit. Vanity light only worked on one side. Hallway smelled bad as well. Guy at front desk was trying to manage both the breakfast area and front desk so both were lacking service. I did inform him of the issues with the room.

Unfortunately, we will never stay here again. Many illegals in a lot of the rooms. Ceiling coming in on top floor. Drains stopped up. No coffee for breakfast. Sausage was'n't done. Dirty when we walked in and very run down. We were staying for two days and they gave us two towels. Small bath towels. Lots of supplies were running out and not replaced when other occupants left the room. Many illegals! We felt unsafe. Never stay there again.

Not a pleasant experience.

I was in town on business and stayed in a king suite at $160 per night for 12 days. From day one I have had better service and treated more like an appreciated customer at MOTEL 6 in past years than at Comfort INN IN FESTUS MISSOURI. MANAGEMENT not polite, customer service not 🤔 very good..would not recommend staying here !
I will be returning to the area on business again in a few months, and will definitely be staying at a different hotel.
