Hotel is lovely and the location perfect. Staff were exceptionally helpful with everything, including excellent restaurant recommendations. Easy walk to the old city, and parking in their lot a huge benefit. Highly recommend this hotel to get the most out of a visit to Gallipoli without having to navigate the old city streets with a car.

This is truly a one and 100 experience. They grace and strength of the people and staff of the facility in a most gorgeous location is hard to beat. Beautiful place to stay in Gallipoli

Small but beautiful hotel. We were there during non peak season so some of the amenities were not available such as the pool on the terrace. You are served daily breakfast that is mostly cold food but does the job. All the staff were very attentive and nice. Short 5 min walk to the old town. The gym barely qualifies as a gym as it has 1 treadmill and couple machines but it is fairly common in European hotels.

Rooms are beautiful and clean and spacious with a nice little terrace. Overall wonderful place to stay in Gallipoli and it is highly recommended

Bloody brilliant but...

This is an oasis in a wonderful town trashed by tourism. Set 200 metres from the beautiful old town of Gallipoli we were always delighted to get away from there and back here! The atmosphere, produce and food was awful and shame on the tourists who just accept it! Nonetheless, go to this hotel and love it as we did - other than for the somewhat flakey WiFi it was total perfection!!

The location of the Hotel was great if you want to go into the old town nightly without staying in the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The reason we were just satisfied with the stay was that the A/C didn't work correctly. The room never cooled to the temperature on the thermostat and the A/C went on and off all night. Very noisy which resulted in not getting a good nights rest while we were there. Also, we asked for ice one night and it never came. I went to the front desk after an hour and it finally came just as we were getting ready for bed. When we went to check out we were charged for the \"room service\" to get the ice. After arguing the front desk staff did remove the charge. The only other thing I would recommend is going into old town for dinner versus staying at the hotel. We found that the food was better at a much lower price.

2 nights in Gallipoli

A lovely hotel close to the historical port... the roof top area is great especially for breakfast and a couple of early evening drinks. There is an annoying recording of birds with gun shots to keep the seagulls away from the pool although you didn't notice this down the other end of the terrace.
Parking was convenient out of the back of the hotel and the historical port is within easy walking distance.

Good but not great.

This is a nice hotel and it is well located in Gallipoli, in the modern area but a few minutes walk from the old town.

The hotel is in good condition and has some nice facilities, the rooftop terrace has good views, although the drinks are pricey. The pool is small and more to cool off than swim.

Our room was clean and nice, although the shower was pretty disappointing for this class of hotel. The water trickled out and you had to stand with your back against the shower fitting to get washed.

Out room was rear facing so the small terrace looked over the parking area and not so nice road out the back rather than the sea. Bed was large but rather hard. The aircon in the room worked well.

I think if we had not been to other places first then this might have seemed better. However, overall from the 5 hotels we stayed in Italy this was probably the least inspiring.

Its nice but not great. I would stay there again if in Gallipoli but don't expect to be blown away.

One of the best

Stayed here for four days late April 2014.
This hotel is one of the nicest we have ever experienced. Beautifully decorated public areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. All kept gleaming and spotlessly clean. Attentive and friendly staff made us welcome and we felt pampered throughout our short stay.
The weather was not kind to us so we made limited use of the roof garden. This had nice views over Gallipoli which would no doubt have been even better in bright sunshine.
The restaurant is also on the roof, sharing the same outlook. We ate there one night and had an excellent meal, we both had fish, good wine and again excellent service.
We arrived by train so the location of the hotel fairly near to the station suited us fine.
The location to the old town is convenient being perhaps a 10 minute walk across the bridge.
This is only a small hotel but one of great quality. We had a memorable stay and especially thank Maurizio for his service, advice and good company. Highly recommended.

Luxury in Gallipoli

This was by far the nicest hotel of our 14-day romantic exploration of Southern Italy (and we stayed at all Tripadvisor highly recommended/ranking hotels). It was bright, clean and the furniture was beautiful and blend well for this beach obsessed City. The floors were white granite and the bathroom also contained granite. The bathroom contained high level products from the spa. The room had a balcony with chairs were we enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine from the nearby region. The hotel has agreements with nearby beach clubs where you have access to the beach club for free and in some clubs you may have to pay a minimal charge for a chair or umbrella (other clubs are free during the weekday). The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop terrace with a small pool. Breakfast included the usual eggs, cheeses, tomatoes, juices, pastries and proscutto. It was tasty but certainly not worth the 20 Euros when there are so many other options in this town. The hotel has free parking, however, it is limited and is often used by non-guest looking for free parking. Everyone in the hotel was very helpful and accomodating. This was Italian luxury that i would expect in most highly ranked hotels and yet, it was rare to find outside of the main cities like Naples or Bari.

- room was amazing
- bed was unreasonably hard
- recommend the extra virgin olive oil massage
- 86euro for dinner for 1 with a bottle of wine - first dish clams and mussels outstanding. Second dish pasta and seafood (note to people: the fish is dead doesn't mean you have to cook it to death). That being said the octopus was overcooked and the clams were not cleaned properly. I should have made note of the third course it was a Gallipoli native fish with salt and pepper. So ridiculously overcooked I could barely eat half. You should know I have an appetite like few other but this poor fish was totally disrespected. The dessert I chose was fresh fruit. Sad but it was my favorite. I'm pretty sure the chef went home as no self respecting chef would let the second or third plate get to me.
- the terrace was beautiful and the location was nice.
- All sorts of services offered but all at an extra cost. Be careful what you order but don't skip the massage by Nicoletta.
The front desk staff were AMAZING!!! Can't say enough about the staff. All wonderful.
The hotel is very secure and the night life in the area is interesting and lively. I did not run into any problems but it is a \"sketchy\" street. The hotel requires you to buzz in every time you enter

I was surprised to receive an upgrade to the accomodation I had booked and the suite was one of the best I have experienced and I have travelled on most continents through business and pleasure. The only area for improvement would be the breakfast which I though lacked value however the quality of what was available was very good and the staff were very attentive

Petite et luxueuse hotel. Petit déjeuner excellent. Le service était professionnel et discret. Nous avons dîner a notre arrivée sur la terrasse du toit avec la vue du Port, le tartare était bon et nous avons eu droit à des petits extras (tapas régionaux) .La chambre, et salle de bain excellente condition mais petite (chambre de base). Je n'ai pas de commentaires négatifs . J'y retournerais et je recommence cet hôtel ;-))
