Tough one. Nice enough with excellent staff, but the room was tired and housekeeping was knocking on the door before 9am on Sunday. Then no service.
Really, however, the spa / gym all had an extra cost and the pool as advertised was closed for winter. It certainly looked like I could swim as per the advertisement.

Terrible service, not a hotel
When checking into the hotel the room was not ready until 3pm when they stated it would be by 2. It is not a hotel, they offer villas that are not suitable for the price, the beds are uncomfortable and almost impossible to sleep on. The bathroom had dispenser soap, no shampoo or shower gel as you would expect when going to a hotel. The toilet paper resembled the toilet paper you'd find in a bars or a public toilet. For the price it is not worth it. A travel lodge would be just as good for a third of the price!

Nice hotel but have a car you will need one.I went for the upgrade room which had a great sea view.I think it was a time share room for the hotel is broken up into 2 different areas one looks older than the other so go for the newer area

Comfortable room with balcony and view of the sea. Arrived at the end of the season so quiet and no problem getting a lounger by the pool! Only negative is its not in the center of town but there's a bus stop outside and its a walkable distance to restaurants. Also as we arrived late in the season there on site shop was no longer open but overall a very nice stay.

We stayed here 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our private balcony overlooking the Adriatic Sea with a beautiful view of Izola, Slovenia.
The room was small but had the necessities and a decent sized shower. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and again, that view!
The hotel is a 5-10 min. drive from town, probably not very convenient if you don't have a car. No internet in the rooms, but a terminal for use in the lobby.

Belvedere Hotel Isola
This is a beautiful hotel/camp park resort. It is obviously used by local countries through summer as it has a large pool, tennis court etc and space for caravans. It is a fair walk out of the town (about 25 mins) which makes it inconvenient if you dont have a car, which we did not have. In Isola taxis are hard to find as well. The town itself is very pretty and lots of restaurants on the water. Staff at Belvedere were very sweet as we only arrived late (10.30pm) and this was not a problem for them. The room had a beautiful view right over the Mediterranean, spectacular with snow capped mountains in the back ground. I would recommend hotel, but be aware of distance from the town. Breakfast is pretty basic too.

Hotel was nice, the staff very friendly. Beautiful view to the sea from the terrace of the Hotels restaurant. Breakfast was ok. not brilliant but adequate. The \"Beach\" is a long way down hill from the Hotel, but there is a fine swimming pool area with a cosy music bar near by the hotel, for us younger people

Wir hatten 3 Sterne. Das Bad und das Zimmer sind nicht auf dem neuesten stand. Die Badezimmertür blätterte von innen an dem unteren Teil schon ab. Sauberkeit lies auch zu wünschen übrig. Freundlichkeit des Personals vom Restaurant war auch nicht das beste.

RELAX - SOLE E TANTO MARE
L'hotel è posizionato proprio sul Belvedere della città raggiungibile durante la giornata con un pulmino che percorre strada che discende verso il mare. Ma si può fare tranquillamente anche a piedi. Per rientrare la sera, consigliamo trenino turistico (5 Euro a persona) Meglio di un taxi ed evita la salita! In hotel si mangia divinamente. La colazione è completa ed abbondante vale come un pranzo e una cena assieme considerando anche le pietanze servite! La stanza al secondo piano quasi di fronte alla piscina era veramente comoda. Parcheggio auto proprio di fronte alla camera. Confort estremo in piscina. Pochi euro per tutto il giorno al sole, con servizio doccia e bagno e cambio abiti. Decisamente pochi i bar all'interno per mangiare fuori orario, ma il ristorante è davvero sempre aperto ! Chiedere gli orari se arrivate in bassa stagione. Consigliatissima la visita alla città. E' un gioiellino adagiato sul mare ricco di storia e di buon cibo.

Hotel je v poriadku, je to tuším jeno najbližších miest od Slovenska k moru. Akurát len, že sme chceli manželskú posteľ, no dostali sme dve spojené postele, ktoré sa od seba odsúvali a nie jednu posteľ. Inak nie je čo vytknúť.

Unser Aufenthalt war leider alles andere als entspannt. Ekelige, viel zu kleine Zimmer mit massenhaft Spinnweben und toten Insekten am Boden, die auch am nächsten Tag nach dem \"roomservice\" noch offensichtlich da waren. Schmutzige Sitzpölster undTischdecken bim Essen, das Personal sowas von unhöflich und überhaupt nicht hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer lag zwischen Minigolfanlage und Stripclub (was hat der bitte mitten in einem Familienresort verloren??), was zum nächtlichen Lärm beigetragen hat.

Das Hotel ist schön und ruhig gelegen, die Zimmer an sich nett in einzelnen kleinen Häusern. Parken ist in Zimmernähe möglich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich.
Der hoteleigene Strand (kostenloser Kleinbus oder ca 10min Fußweg) war jedoch nicht überzeugend. Liegeflächen gibt es nur sehr eingeschränkt neben Zwangsbeschallung des Imbissstands.
Sehr unangenehm waren im Zimmer die beiden zusammengeschobenen Einzelbetten, die dauernd auseinanderrutschen. Ansonsten ist die Zimmerausstattung absolut in Ordnung.
Einen sehr angenehmen Strand mit Duschmöglichkeiten gibt es zB direkt in Izola (mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten), dort gibt es auch genügend Restaurants. Der Hauptparkplatz war nie komplett voll, mit 2€/h aber für mehrere ganze Tage nicht ganz billig.
Zwar nicht komplett zufrieden, bereue die Buchung aber nicht und würde sehr wohl wieder dort urlauben.
Der hoteleigene Strand (kostenloser Kleinbus oder ca 10min Fußweg) war jedoch nicht überzeugend. Liegeflächen gibt es nur sehr eingeschränkt neben Zwangsbeschallung des Imbissstands.
Sehr unangenehm waren im Zimmer die beiden zusammengeschobenen Einzelbetten, die dauernd auseinanderrutschen. Ansonsten ist die Zimmerausstattung absolut in Ordnung.

Отель состоит из 4-х отдельно стоящих трех-этажных вилл. В одной из вилл номера с замечательным видом на залив Изолы (такой же вид из ресторана), в остальных виллах номера с видом на двор с парковкой или сады. Если совсем не повезет, то вид будет на дорогу, так что вам не захочется отодвигать занавески и тем более открывать балкон. Внутри номера обставлены среднего качества мебелью (кровати очень скрипучие), но в них чисто и убираются ежедневно. Кое-где есть кухни (десять евро в день за её использование). Сейф только на ресепшн (платно). Интернет бесплатный, но только в ресторане, вполне приличный. Завтраки очень хороши, но после 6-7 дней вам захочется разнообразия. Прекрасный бассейн может стать хорошей альтернативой морю. Спуск к морю пешком по асфальтовой дороге не особо приятен (тем более подъем), но для непожилых людей сложностей не представляет. Микроавтобус от отеля ходит к морю каждые полчаса. Парковка у отеля бесплатна и довольно удобна, автостоянка у пляжа платная в сезон, а также может быть платна в выходные (с 1-го сентября). Сам пляж практически отсутствует - небольшая бетонная полоса вдоль моря, хотя можно расположиться на траве чуть выше. Также можно дойти до городского пляжа, это всего 300-400 м вдоль моря. В целом сказал бы, что отель стоит своих денег
