We loved our stay at the Dimora. Riccardo, our host, was great, and always willing to help us. The location is lovely and we had a bright fresh room with a lovely view. The simple breakfast was fine too. Great value for the Amalfi Coast, with easy access by boat along the coast and short distance to Salerno to make trips to Pompeii, Napoli, Paestum etc. Would highly recommend.

I never found where the breakfast was served so I can’t judge it. None of the people I encountered spoke English. My room was clean and spacious. My door did not have a lock and there was no one there to communicate with. There were several food markets close in proximity. I did not find the B&B convenient to attractions or shopping. It was not close to the beach, but had incredible views to the sea. I am sure this experience would have been much better if I knew the Italian language. I would not recommend this B&B to people who are unfamiliar with the Italian language,

We last minute changed our booking to come to the Dimora Carlo and it was the greatest decision we could’ve made. Riccardo was the highlight of our stay and was so welcoming and kind. The city of Raito was so special with a beautiful view of Vietri sul Mare. Whenever we come back to the Amalfi Coast, we know where we’ll stay.

I love the feeling of being in an area that makes you feel in Italy, the area is quiet and feels very comfortable. The host was extremely helpful, i needed Euros to pay for my bus and he lend me the money till i went to the ATM and get some euros, who does that?? This host does !!!!!! Awesome !!! Awesome !!! The property was beautiful - the room I stayed in had a view of the coast, was very clean and Riccardo was very friendly. It’s also in a convenient location as there is a bus stop right outside which you can take to Salerno or connect to other buses which take you to Amalfi. The experience overall was lovely :)

Not very friendly. False advertising. Place is nothing like the description from Expedia. Owner not friendly, very rude. We paid for two days, we left the next day. We asked the owner to get us a taxi and he showed us a phone number from his phone for us to call the taxi. After dealing for more than 45 min and not able to get a taxi? We left walking to get a bus. The bus took two hours to get there. This place is super far from the town. Please do not book this place. I was so disappointed that I cried and this end up ruining my trip.

The property itself was nice. It was just what we needed for a weekend getaway to visit Vietri. What made it great was the service. Riccardo was welcoming, and brought a delicious breakfast each morning.

We did have an issue.confusion with the payment, and while Expedia did not do much to help, I was able to reach out directly to Riccardo. He and Rizzello responded promptly and solved it right away, while Expedia said there wasn't anything else they can do. Overall, they are fantastic hosts, in a great location, and would stay there again the next time we visit the coast.

Located in the higher areas of the coast line, this place is spacious and welcoming. Be aware that if you rely on public transport that the connections are a bit more spotty.
If you are lucky enough you will get a beautiful view to the sea.

Disappointing Result

This hotel stay was our final night of a 4 month European holiday. When I read the online guest reviews during booking process, I was quite excited to close our vacation in grand style...

To our horror, we were deeply disappointed. The Express Check-in was actually non-existent. We were greeted by nobody and when 'mum' answered the door we were asked did you call ahead? She then contacted her son Ricardo to come and greet us. This was not a train wreck.

However, as we settled into the hotel for the night, I had to ask about the lack of hot water & why the gas valve was not on for the hotplate. Later we discovered there no toilet paper in the bathroom. So I had to call Ricardo to resolve these issues.

We did find bath-towels at the bottom of the wardrobe, otherwise this would have resulted in yet another call.

Overall, we felt let down as the room had not been checked properly. The kitchen facilities were also very basic, only forks (no spoon) and 1x Knife. Well used 'plastic' cutlery old scratched pots etc....

I strongly recommend the 3-star rating is downgraded to 2 maximum for the unsuspecting traveller as it is far from its' suggested 3 stars!!!.

Great family run B&B

Ricardo is a great host. Super helpful with everything and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. There aren't that many restaurants in and around the raito area but there are a few shops where things can be bought. All in all a good place to stay but in a very quiet area which can get quite isolated.

We had a short but sweet stay at this B and B. Ricardo was very helpful and breakfast in the morning was fantastic! The location is a little difficult to find but worth the effort. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unfortunately we were told not before departure that they only accept cash, there was no hint of this in the hotel/room description.
Good location and parking space (rare at the Amalfitana!) included in budget price but tiny room with some mold in the shower. Friendly owner.
But we enjoyed better offers in the region during our trip.

Der Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt! Der Check-in verlief unglaublich einfach und unkompliziert, das Personal war jederzeit freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer Sehr sauber. Die Umgebung ist toll. Man fühlt sich von der ersten Minute an willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, gepflegt und bietet eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Frühstück – reichhaltig, frisch und abwechslungsreich, einfach ausgezeichnet. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Ort zum Übernachten, der sowohl Komfort als auch herzlichen Service vereint. Vielen Dank für die großartige Gastfreundschaft – ich komme sehr gerne wieder

Abbiamo alloggiato nella stanza Positano, bella e spaziosa con vista mare.
Riccardo e la sua famiglia sono stati gentilissimi e ogni giorno a colazione ci hanno preparato caffè/cappuccino e servito cornetti caldi.
La struttura si trova a Raito, è abbastanza comoda per muoversi sia scendendo a Vietri sul mare (col bus) sia da Vietri per girare tutta la costiera con autobus o traghetti.

Splendida vista sul golfo di Salerno.

Sosta di un solo giorno a Vietri sul Mare. Dalla frazione di Raito, ove è situato l'albergo, si gode una splendida vista su Vietri ed il golfo di Salerno. Il titolare è stato cortesissimo e disponibile, ci ha anche messo a disposizione il suo garage per parcheggiare la nostra auto (cosa altrimenti impossibile nelle strette e tortuose stradine di Raito).

Von außen ist das B&B extrem renovierungsbedürftig aber von innen ist es schön hergerichtet und unser Zimmer war sehr groß mit eigener Küche und einem guten Bad. Der Hausherr war super freundlich. Das Frühstück war leider typisch italienisch.

Bom local pra quem está de carro!

Estava viajando sozinho e de carro. Nesse ponto o hotel é ótimo, pois tem estacionamento grátis nas proximidades.
Quarto é grande e limpo. As toalhas e as roupas de cama são trocadas diariamente. Tem frigobar, cozinha e ar condicionado.
Achei um pouco distante da praia de Vietri Sul Mare. Basicamente precisei do carro ou ônibus pra tudo. Próximo ao hotel tem um mercadinho e uma lanchonete.
Atendimento cordial do dono, sempre simpático com os hóspedes.
Pelo custo/benefício foi um bom negócio.

Questo b&b gode di un affaccio sul mare di vietri davvero invidiabile. Confortevoli le camere con un angolo cottura comodo per chi deve soggiornare per più giorni. Unica nota stonata, la colazione, servita dal titolare del b&b che non consente agli ospiti di servirsi da soli e scegliere cosa più si desidera.

ho soggiornato in questo albergo la seconda settimana di Agosto,molto apprezzabile sia la cortesia e disponibilità del personale, sia come è arredato(con elementi tipici della zona e in particolare con una gradevolissima presenza di elementi in ceramica,di cui Vietri vanta una ricchissima tradizione), come anche lavista che si ha dalla zona:domia un' ampia baia che a perdita d'occhio scorge Salerno. La posizione appaga la vista e la dimensione \"a misura d'uomo\" regalataci dall'essere in una frazione appena fuori da Vietri,ma per arrivare si deve percorrere circa 1 km di strada stretta e a tornanti...Comunque nel complesso esperienza POSITIVA!

Familjeresa med 2 tonårspojkar. Knaper frukost, och det krävdes att jag ringde upp och sa att jag var på plats. Obefintlig Engelskkunskap. Ville dock vara vänliga, och hjälpa till. Fick låna p-platsen som tillhörde ägaren, vilket nästan var ett krav. Oerhört krångligt med att bli av med bilen. 20 min promenad till strand, fantastisk utsikt.

Vue magnifique au-dessus de Salerne

Des hôtes et un voisinage très accueillant, même si nous ne partageons pas la même langue. Hotel situé au haut de la falaise, avec un service d'autobus un peu limité pour rejoindre la ville (tous les heures). L'autobus est souvent bondé, ce qui est un peu difficile avec la chaleur et des enfants.

Mysigt, pittoreskt med mycket italiensk kärlek.

Letar man efter ett enkelt B&B är denna pärla verkligen att rekommendera. I en bergsby just i början av Amalfikusten har man nära till fina byar och badstränder men också till städer som Napoli och Pompei. Ägaren är världens snällaste, lite knackig engelska men gör allt han kan för att stå till tjänst. En liten krokig italiensk väg leder högt upp till byn där byborna hälsar en välkommen när man kommer dragande på sin väska.

Proprietario disponibile e gentile, molto attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Ambiente curato e camera con panorama sul mare indimenticabile. Pulito, semplice e con una colazione molto abbondante. Bed and Breakfast elegantemente delizioso e pulito

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura purtroppo per pochi giorni, mi ha colpito molto l'eleganza degli interni, la pulizia e la storia di questo edificio, che come tutti gli edifici antichi hanno un'anima.
La colazione è abbondante e varia, non manca di nulla dalla frutta, insaccati, dolci e salati.
I proprietari rispecchiano in toto la simpatia e la cortesia meridionale con il loro modo di farti sentire importante coccolandoti.
Il palazzo si trova in un bellissimo borgo, Raito, perpendicolare al mare della Costiera Amalfitana, da dove lo sguardo spazia su tutta la costa, borgo centralissimo da dove abbiamo potuto visitare la costa ma anche Salerno, Ercolano e Pompei.
Sicuramente ci ritornerò e lo consiglio a tutti.

Schöner Ausblick

Vom Zimmer aus hatten wir einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Küste. Das Zimmer hatte einen Balkon, eine kleine Küchenzeile und war recht groß. Perfekt für einen längeren Aufenthalt, auch mit Kindern.
