I loved this hotel. The staff at the reception was very nice, they allowed us to store our luggage for several hours. Also our room was ready at noon and we were able to check out late. I would be back next time. I’m in Prague.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was. I had booked quite late and was mainly looking to keep costs down but I managed that AND found a charming, beautiful and convenient hotel. Gorgeous decor, lovely food and spacious rooms. Excellent value!

Quiet and clean stay in very nice room
We stayed in a two room suite with shared bath and separate extra toilet room off of the main bedroom, which had windows that opened to a quite court. The first bedroom and main door opened to the center garden. Overall it was very nice and quiet. Very comfortable too. We did not eat in the La Boca restaurant but I heard the food was very good.

Lovely staff, great location and lovely rooms with a European feel! Also got a free room update which was a bonus. Only downside was the lack of sound proofing between rooms - you can hear next doors tv and things like a cough very clearly which was a little irritating when trying to sleep at night!

I had a pleasant stay here and I would go back. The location is excellent- right next to the Palladium shopping mall which has a drug store and grocery store in it that are open until 10pm. Currency exchange is also adjacent to it. Less than 10 minute walk to the square and about 20 minutes to the Charles bridge.

Nice hotel very near to old town. Room was spacious and very good. My only complaint would be that when we went to the partner restaurant for dinner (La Boca), the staff were incredibly rude. The hotel had advertised that you could go there for a free drink, but the waitress at the restaurant was very rude about this and very unwelcoming. I cannot fault the hotel, but would not recommend going to La Boca for dinner purely based on the service (as the food was actually very nice).

Great breakfast, great location, cozy beds, spacy, there was only a little bit of confusion at the front desk regarding breakfast (we were 6 people), but everything turned out just fine. I would stay here again, the only thing that I would improve is a quality orange juice, which is missing at breakfast :-)

Very good location. Staff exceptionally friendly. The local neighborhood is a nice combination of local and tourist. Try the wine bar up the street which is a very hospitable hole in the wall type place. Hotel facilities a bit run down but fits the Havana-chic motif. Not a flashy place but great value for money.

Was very impressed with the size of our room, including a separate reception area and big shower room, in addition to the bedroom. We appreciated the fan as it was quite warm in the room. In the evenings there was some noise from the courtyard but it didn't really disturb us very late. Soap and shower gel included, hairdryer, kettle and fridge etc were not necessarily expected but were appreciated. The breakfast buffet was quite good (mixture of hot and cold foods), although travelling with a vegan made it tricky the first morning (she could have fruit and roll/toast and jam). We bought some vegan yoghurt from a nearby vegan shop the first day and stored it in the fridge in the room so she could enjoy the granola the following mornings. The hotel was in a great location to explore Prague and the staff at the desk were helpful. We felt overall it was good value for money and suited our needs well.

A wonderful stay - we recommend it!
We stayed 4 nights from Aug 5-9 2019 and it was a wonderful time. Our room was cleaned everyday and the staff were polite and courteous. The only person who was rude was the overnight receptionist. He was quite abrupt and unhelpful when we checked out at 4am and it was an unfortunate ending to an otherwise wonderful stay. The location was great, right next to a mall with food court and lots of stores, the rooms were clean - we are a family of 4 and we had 2 double beds and 2 single beds with 2 rooms. We really loved Prague and the hotel was wonderful for our family.

Extremely disappointed !
This is possibly the worst experience we've had in all our trips. Very disappointed with our stay at the hotel. We were assigned an \"attic\" room, literally! The room had sloping ceiling being an attic and so we could literally only stand up straight without hitting our heads on the roof on one side of the room.
One side of our bed was directly under the slope, so if you are waking up in the night, you are likely to hit your head on the roof! The closets to keep clothes/luggage similarly was against a sloping side of the room, which made it incredibly difficult to change.
The only 2 windows of the room were on this slanting roof wall and high enough, so we had zero views out of the windows. When it rains, we were asked to leave the windows closed so that the water does not run in, which made the room even more stuffy and warm.
WE WERE NEVER TOLD THAT WE WILL BE ASSIGNED AN ATTIC. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHY THE FRONT DESK PERSON ASSIGNED US THIS ROOM. FRONT DESK PERSON WAS RUDE BOTH TIMES WE INTERACTED WITH HIM.
Towels in the room were scratchy and old.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. The room however was much smaller than I Was led to believe from the pictures that I saw. Thankfully the weather was cool enough because there was no air-conditioning. Laundry service is available by bringing your clothes to the reception desk in the morning. My afternoon they will return your clothes to your room. Overall, for the price And the location it was a great bargain. Most of the major sites are within easy walking distance of the hotel. There is also a large shopping center right around the corner from the hotel which includes food court and all kinds of namebrand clothing.

It's a nice hotel in prime area, near major land mark. Easily possible to go to key spots. Hotel is boutique, but well maintained. It has large looms and well maintained interiors. Quite comfortable. However, it's limited in service, as probably it is designed for that. Breakfast is just ok.

This hotel is in a great location! Very easy to walk around and hit some major sites or even grab a taxi. I highly recommend, I think the reception really went above and beyond to provide excellent service. They let us check in early, on our last day when we ran out of time to buy stamps they allowed us to leave some money and said they would handle the purchase and delivery of our post cards, and the service from the hotel to the airport was very convenient and on time.
The courtyard is adorable and gives a very relaxing vibe. BUT the building and rooms are old (which is to be expected) so the bathroom door often got stuck on the floor and the floors creaked when you walked on certain spots. Also the toilets were somewhat old (it took forever for water to refill). However the rooms are very large and spacious which is awesome!
I will admit I'm a little baffled about their extra \"security measure\". The doors that lead from the elevators to the corridors with the rooms are locked after a certain time BUT they are locked from the side with the doors - so anyone can get into the corridors with the room, but not everyone can get out, unless they take the stairs, shouldn't it be switched?
Overall though a great hotel. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and always helpful, we booked trips and taxis through reception. The room was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. We weren't bothered by noise at all. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the centre but nice and quiet. There is a large shopping centre to the left, just at the end of the road and a few mini markets to the right. We would definitely recommend and we would return. The ONLY thing we could criticize is that the hot breakfast was cold...it was nice quality food but would have been so much better if it was served hot.. however there is also a good selection of cold meats, cheese etc.

Good location to explore the city, there’s also a big mall just around the corner for anything you might need. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom excellent and I wasn’t disturbed by noise at all. I didn’t sample the breakfast - I just grabbed a coffee & croissant around the corner on my way out like usual, but I did have dinner one night which was excellent.

Promising hotel, terrible experience.
I would avoid, the staff are not reactive to problems. Our second night there we managed 2 hours sleep, customer(s) were banging on random doors - kicking them - then running off. This happened throughout the night, 1.30am, 2.45am, 3.35am, 4.45am, 5.30am and 6.15am. Nothing was done about it, when i went to reception and asked what is going to be done about the noise. I was told that they had done all they could and there was nothing more they could do. Appalling. I will not go here again, they happily take your money but give very little in way of worth for the price, avoid!

I noted in reviews of Hotel Salvator that many guests were switched to an alternative address from that which was advertised.
This is what happened to me, I was hoping to stay in the Spanish themed hotel with the outside lift, however I was asked to move to their apartments, about 3 min walk round the corner in Revolucni.
Initially, I wasn't happy but found the new apartment was very modern and comfortable with own kitchen/diner, washing machine, ironing board, toaster, kettle.
In morning I walked round the corner to the advertised property for breakfast (8 euro) which was more than adequate offering fried and cold meats and cheeses alternatives.
I was very happy with the apartments and would definitely stay there again. It is in the quieter part of town so I had 3 very good nights sleep!

Great, typically Czech hotel close to Prague old city centre which we couldn’t fault. The elevator to our 4th floor room did break down once but was very quickly repaired. You can get very reasonably priced tickets to hop on and off the public transport but we enjoyed walking everywhere.
The hotel is a few minutes walk to the river and we went on a great “Prague by Night” dinner cruise.
Overall an excellent break.

After reading such a highly-rated reviews, I booked this hotel without hesitation. But unfortunately my trip is ended up with great disappointment.
The pictures of the room posted by hotel looks 'MUCH' prettier than what it really is - you'll have 'much smaller' and 'dark' room. In addition, you'll get the impression that the room is old even though the room is well maintained because of red floor carpet,cobweb in the light,dimmed lighting, faded wallpaper, disheveled bed linen.....all these aspects are creating old-looking image.
The worst part of this hotel is that the biggest windows of the room are facing toward the corridor where people keeps walking around!. (And those windows are the only windows that my room had. I cannot understand how people were so generous in their review even with this aspect!) This will give you dilema to you - to keep your privacy, you have to close the curtain. But if you keep curtain closed, your room will be boiling since the room does not have air-con. So what I did was to place the chair in front of window and to hang the curtain around the chair in order to allow some air under the curtain. But this gave me another pain! - the noise and food smells from the restaurant in the ground floor keep coming up until very late.
People have different taste. I strongly disagree with the people who gave them 4 stars or more. Please carefully read bad review comments as well before booking. There could be a deal-breaker!

The value and location were outstanding, but there is no air conditioning and we had the misfortune of staying there during a major heatwave. We had to go to bed after 11pm with the windows wide open, which meant we also had to deal with a fair amount of exterior noise. A great place to stay... if the weather is mild.

Nice hotel close to the centre
The hotel is lovely and closed to the centre but in a quiet street. Breakfast was varied and there was always plenty even towards the end of the breakfast time slot. Unfortunately the lift was broken the first 3 days of our stay and my mum struggled a bit up the stairs to the third floor but it was fixed sooner than we were told. Our room was clean and spacious but a bit outdated. I think it could use a nice touch-up. Nonetheless I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Very central and good location. Good choice at breakfast and plenty. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. No air con so can get hot in the summer but fans are provided. Very well priced mini bar in the room and the team/coffee is free (which is unusual) and you can help yourself to more at reception. Would recommend this hotel.

Our family of 6 stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for the 6 of us. The hotel has a delicious breakfast, is close to the Palladium and other attractions. But, our favorite part of the hotel is the staff. They are all friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend Hotel Salvator.

My partner and I and our friends enjoyed our week at the Salvator. It is in an excellent position for seeing all the great sights of Prague. The reception staff were helpful and courteous at all times giving us good information whenever required. The buffet breakfast was great with a variety of hot and cold food and choice of seating venues. We had dinner twice in the restaurant garden area and both meals were good. Or room was in the attic but was large and comfortable. The only problem was getting in and out of the very small shower entrance which had a high step up. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location was great, within few min walk from old town square, great place for sightseeing. Hotels condition was good, very warm rooms even when we switched off the heating. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids, which was spacious however the kids bed didnt have bedding. Also no toiletries but these were the only negatives. Parking is in a shopping centre 5 min walk from hotel, and charged at 20 euros per night, which is approx 507 CZK is too expensive and a rip off- if you self park at the Kotva shopping department it will cost you about 80 CZK for 24 hours

The hotel is in a great location and provides a comfortable stay. However, the basic room is very small, so if you plan to stay there for longer, choose one of the larger ones. The bathroom is very small and the shower stall is really tiny. I normally travel in the U.S. so the standard here was a bit lower than what I expected. The service was good and the breakfast offered every morning was excellent. It kept me going though most of the day. The hotel is a bit quirky, with a lot of doors and little passages, so it may be a bit confusing, but it adds to the charm. Just never forget to take your room key with you! The only big problem for me was how thin the walls were and how the sound travelled. But overall it was a good stay.

The family room was actually a suite. We had one room with a queen bed and two twin beds, and a second room with another queen bed, plus the bathroom. The breakfast is great, hot and cold options. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the old town. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Hotel Salvator is a unique hotel not too far from the center of the old town in Prague. Our room was spacious, beds were comfortable, and bathroom was clean and supplied plenty of hot water. We appreciated being able to check-in much earlier than expected.

Room was stuffy and outdated. Carpet needs to be removed. The hotel is 10 minute walking distance from old town center, 5 minutes to tram, and 2 minutes to two large shopping malls. The restaurant breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was very conveniently located, being close to public transport and the centre of tourist interest. Everone says Prague is beautiful, and they're right. We were on something of a pipe organ \"crawl\", and were not disappointed. Our only slight disappointment was that if we wanted to have a meal untainted by cigarette smoke we were forced to eat inside rather than outside.

I recently stayed here s d Renata the manager upgraded me to a wonderful room. I originally had a room with windows opening to courtyard walkway and elevator steps from the bed. I was unhappy so she moved me to a quieter bigger and much nicer room the next morning. #16 is grest. The restaurant LaBoca was great too with live music and delicious food. Great area

We had a very enjoyable stay at The Salvator hotel. The location was great very close to the main square and in walking distance to the Charles bridge. The breakfast was nice. The restaurant was charming and service excellent. The room was very spacious with a nice big bedroom and a sitting room with a nice big bathroom. Only complaint was the pillows. Large and flat and lumpy. Otherwise excellent. Reception staff were very helpful. Good value for cost especially given the location. I would highly recommend.

When i got to check in they had a room put out of service by a previous guest...My room apparently. Salvator has apartments 3 min walk away. Put me in an apartment. Super nice!

I don't have anything to say negative about this location. The room size was the best feature for our large family of 6. They has a great option for us. The desk was helpful and spoke English and were helpful. We very much enjoyed the stay. Close enough to walk through old town.

We stayed here only one night and to be fair it was a national holiday in Prague. The staff was fantastic and allowed us to check in a bit earlier, which was great because we were tired after a long train ride from Germany. The rooms look kind of off beat, eclectically decorated, but overall neat and comfortable enough. Two issues were that it was noisy with the windows open, due to restaurant on first floor, but hot with them closed. Again, this was on Jan Huss day, which was busy and in July, which was hot. Probably isn't an issue 95% of the time.

I can't really give a review for this hotel because I didn't stay in it. Instead I was shipped off to their sister hotel 15 minutes from where I wanted to be - near the centre of the old town. I booked this hotel mainly because of its location and character, the replacement had neither. I was in Prague for only 2 days and the change in hotel probably meant I lost a couple of hours in total toing and froing - I like to return to my room in the afternoon to get washed and changed after a hot day sightseeing and on the second day I just couldn't be bothered walking back to the old town on the evening so made do with a not so great local restaurant. If you book here make sure they aren't putting you in the sister hotel before confirming it felt like a long walk back up the hill.

Quirky hotel in a convenient, central location
We had overall a very positive experience. When arrived at the hotel, we were said they were in overbooking, but we were offered to stay in a building nearby, and were given a whole, luxury apartment with a fabulous terrace all for ourselves. This was a lucky occurrence which added a great value to our holiday.
The location is perfect, just around Namesti Republiki (not sure of the spelling), less than 10 minutes walk from the old town.
