When eventually I was served, I said \"we were checking out early because...\" and before I could finish she put her hand out for the key and said ok madam goodbye - I reiterated we weren't due to check out until Monday (this was the prev Wednesday) she said \"ok\" and smiled, called next ro the next customer!
So we've lost out on the cost of this stay, the full payment for city tax - which we ended up paying twice for a hotel elsewhere as well as the cost for different accommodation, not to mention the additional cost for creams and lotions etc to calm the itching!
We definitely will not be back which is a shame!

Good, only thing that concerned me is that someone tried to break into my cabin while I was out. I went out early but remembered to place the deadlock on the door and came back in the evening and looked like someone had tried their luck and forced something between the door but because the deadlock was on luckily they didn’t get in though saying that I took all valuables with me so there was nothing to steel. I did report it to reception the day it happened

Place was great. Only thing I noticed was the bungalow I was in had a moisture problem. The windows were open when I arrived but I didnt think anything of it and shut them while I slept, but woke up to a lot of moisture in the air and some of my items got moldy because of it. Just ensure you keep the windows open in the bungalow. Because everything else was wonderful

The room was suitable, but the walls were quite thin and the bed wasn’t very comfortable and the shower was problematic. Food and pool was good. The WiFi didn’t really work outside of the pool/restaurant area. The location isn’t good — it’s completely surrounded by dual carriageway so it can even be dangerous to walk anywhere around the property without going on the one path. It’s not close to town at all.

Phenomenal Glamping Experience in Rome
We really enjoyed our stay at this campground and the one in Florence! The grounds were beautiful and I loved that we had access to a restaurant, market, and pool. Additionally, there was a grocery across the street which came in handy. The shuttle into Rome was an added perk, but I do wish they had later return times.
The room was perfect for the two of us. I was so thankful to have air conditioning and a luxurious shower. If I find myself in Italy again (praying I do) I would absolutely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hu Camping Roma. It was a refreshing change from the city, offering a peaceful environment surrounded by nature. The only point of confusion during our 15-day visit was the housekeeping service. We had expected at least one room cleaning, which did not occur, and while our towels were scheduled to be changed twice, they were only replaced once. Despite this, we were very pleased with our overall experience. The food and festivities at the campground, particularly during the week of Ferragosto, were lively and enjoyable, adding to the charm of our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at hu Roma but it’s not for everyone. It is very family friendly so expect a lot of children and dogs (even in the outdoor restaurant and indoor cafe). The pool will always be crowded and there is late night entertainment that can be loud. The location was a bit inconvenient as the bus system was a bit confusing and unpredictable.

We loved this property and were surprised that they also had entertainment on the nights too. The bus and metro to get into Rome were easy to navigate; however, the garbage outside the property, especially on the overpass that you need to use, was terrible. We would stay at the property again and found that once you were inside the campground, it was very clean.

CONS: The Miserable and ridiculously RUDE man at check in, NOT wearing a name tag with the Addidas Sneakers. The Bus runs very infrequently. The Pool closes during Broad Daylight while it's still ridiculously hot out. Guests coming back from long day trips hoping for a swim were visibility annoyed, so was I... VERY. The FLIGHTS OF STAIRS to get to any room at anytime....... I wish that I could post a 60 video clip, a few other details to add that would be helpful for travelers. My stay was ok overall.

We stayed here when visiting Rome and had a double tent - the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the room/tent was secure. It was close to transit and being able to come back and soak in the pool after walking in Rome all day was wonderful. It is very family friendly.

Nice affordable place to stay. Certainly not a Marriott or Hilton, but I didn’t expect that. Clean room. The pool was amazing and just like it looked in the photos. And we love the transportation to the nearby Metro. I would say the very young staff is not that good at customer service. We had Internet problems at one point and the lady didn’t really care. Thing to remember when you check in if you have any ailments at all, they have golf carts that will take you up the hill to your room. The check-in agent could mention that.
