The front desk staff was welcoming. However, although I tried to give the place some grace because they are going through renovations, the room wasn't the cleanest I have seen in this chain. The shower door was very dirty on the bottom and the floor was sticky. When looking up, I see a bug in the light cover, too. A few things that could easily have made the stay better.
As I was leaving, I grabbed some coffee and when I took the first sip, it was cold. A little disappointed all the way around.

Under remodeling. Call directly to locate a room that is finished. We did not and got a room that was reported to only be missing an bedside table. The rest was done. NOT. Missing curtains, the closet had no door or rack to hand clothes., The curtains were missing the dark out curtain, so we had parking lot light beaming in all night!. Dared to check breakfast. Though it was 6:30, the meal looked bare and over warmed. My wife and I did not shower or use anything else in the room, we just left before 7am. Will consider the Holiday Inn Express right next door.

Front desk staff was very friendly both at check in and checking out. Room was very clean and was supplied with sufficient towels and amenities. Only issue was with the blackout curtains which were not hung properly and had a tear in them. Allowed light from the parking lot to filter in. The hotel was being updated at the time of our stay so it's possible the shades simply had not been replaced yet. Hot breakfast was provided which included a nice variety of choices. Staff was very diligent about keeping everything full. Also a self serve coffee and tea bar was conveniently located near front desk and available at all times. Along with a variety of snacks and cold beverages. Hotel location was close to a grocery store, gas station, shopping and several restaurants. Overall very pleasant stay. I would recommend.

The room was a 2-Queen bed w/Accessibility. A 'bit' on the narrow size. Beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was standard. Dining area was very clean, organized and seemed to be well stocked. I stayed in room 325 and it was clean and comfortable. However, my mother stayed in room 309 and killed bed bugs after she woke up and came home full of bites from the stay. A serious look must happen and prompt treatment should be completed as soon as possible.

I’ve stayed in much cleaner and friendlier Hampton Inns. Shower stall needed to be deep cleaned and the bottom sheet kept coming off the mattress. Fox News should not be on the TV channel in the breakfast area. The morning desk clerk should not be having a personal conversation about his finances for EVERYOne to hear. And guest should be acknowledged when they walk in.

Mold on shower base. Luggage carrier difficult to move. Door to room let in light. Too soft pillows. False fire alarm sounded in the evening so we had to evacuate. Room air conditioner noisy and was not cooling the room. No steps from upper lot to the motel front entrance. Crowded room with too large of furniture. No TV connection to ABC, CBS and NBC major networks. This location is one Hampton Inn that has slipped through the cracks.

The site said pet friendly and when we checked in there was no mention of a pet fee. We passed by with our 9 pound dog and the manager said nothing. The room ac made a racket the whole night, the shower drain backed up, the tv service said it was unavailable. Make sure you ask for a receipt before you leave. I checked my credit card when we got home and found a charge for $25 and another for $50. I called and the mgr. said she saw us walk through w our baggage and the dog and she said she wasn’t going to chase us down to the elevator. It was 10’ away, all she had to do was speak up and no one else was in the lobby so…. The end of this story is just beware that at $75 almost 50 percent of the room cost this is how they earn the money. I think that’s criminal to post pet friendly then charge like that. I know there are just as many or more stories of terrible abuse by owners also but…..

When we got off the elevators to the second floor, I could smell cigarette smoke. When we entered room 215, the smell of cigarettes was even worse. The smell was so bad that it leached onto our clothes and belongings. It was late, so I didn’t complain when I probably should have. I keep wondering how management and housekeeping could have overlooked this and rented out this room. The staff and property was fine otherwise, but if I ever come back through this town I’ll probably try the Holiday Inn next door instead.

Pool was under “renovation”. One hotel employee told my family it would be back up and running in two days. A different employee told another family it would be 2 months. The trim in our room was falling off the wall. The bathroom door wouldn’t latch. When we went to open up the sofa bed it looked like someone had gotten their hair cut on it. Even though they false advertised on Expedia they had a pool, the reservation was in place for all of 20 min, and we didn't spend the night there, they REFUSED to refund my money.

This is the I can't even count how many times that I have paid through Expedia and when the guests gets to the hotel they tell them that the Expedia card was declined and make the guest pay, even though it has already been prepaid. I called to get this resolved from the most recent time the Hampton Inn has double charged and was given nothing but attitude and no form of apology from Tabitha. I asked her how this continues to happen and she has no idea, nor insight. To the point, she was blaming me for Expedia's card being declined. Just another very disappointing experience with the Hampton.

Poor customer service
We were not told at checkin that the pool was closed. This was the main reason why we chose the hotel and was very disappointed to find out it was closed after getting to the pool. The shower also had no pressure. The price was too high based on the room and overall stay. Would not recommend.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE STAFF. We came in around 2-3am to check in and she said we couldn’t check in for another hour and a half because of her computer auditing. We left and came back a few min later with another friend because we were confused about the situation when we had booked the room way earlier. The lady became super rude and told us to get out of her hotel and we are no longer allowed. She then said “you came in like you were going to have an attitude so get out of my hotel”. Key words “going to”. She said that to my friend that had came in confused. No one had an attitude. We had simply asked a question she was fed up answering as we again were still wanting a better explanation for our long wait. Wish I had the footage to post just to show how rude she was for absolutely no reason at all.
