The room was clean and comfortable, with an excellent view of the sea and the harbor of Salerno.
The front desk staff was very helpful and provided suggestions about where to park to walk to the Duomo of St Matthew.
Breakfast was good and the breakfast room and patio also have a beautiful view and friendly and attentive staff
It was a nice stay!

This is a great place for a simple, clean room at a reasonable price. The sea view is stunning. The decor is traditional, not contemporary, with lots of colorful tiles. Despite somewhat dated decor, this is the sort of place that would be perfect for families who are more interested in good value than hip design. The hotel is right on the sea, and beach access is a very short walk down the coast (3 -5 minutes). It’s a quick bus ride to center but a world away from the tourist hordes. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including a great Japanese place in the same building. Best of all, the place is spotless, and the staff was friendlier and more helpful than we found at five star properties elsewhere. I really can’t say enough about how welcoming they are. Oh, and breakfast was great. They get a family-friendly A+.

Love the beach theme of the rooms. The view from the sea side rooms was amazing. The location was good with the beach at the end of the parking lot. The only downsides are that the parking lot next door seems to be public and free, therefore very crowded, and a lack of dining in the area. The restaurant in the hoyel looked good to me but my wife is allergic to seafood and that limited the selections available there. The place next door was really good but a little pricey. All in all a great one night stay for us.

I checked in and had a beautiful room that I paid for. The two female receptionists that checked me in were super nice and helpful. I had to leave the hotel in the middle of my first night because the person in the room next to me was snoring too loudly that I couldn’t sleep. I went downstairs to the male receptionist working that night and complained that the walls were too thin and I couldn’t sleep because of the snoring next door. And asked if I could get a different room just for that night, and he declined. Unfortunately, he told me I have to deal with it until the next morning. I informed him that without sleep, I could not function. And he told me he could not help me. So I left after midnight and drove to my second hotel room in Amalfi. Thank goodness I had that option. Horrible customer service from that male employee.

On the water, beautiful views, great restaurant next door, awesome breakfast with friendly staff, clean, in a middle class neighborhood far from quaint areas. Waited a very long time for taxi that didn’t arrive. Tried bus which took too long so ate in neighborhood which was fine. Good air conditioning which was very welcome. Shower didn’t drain.

Room was facing the water, which was an amazing view! Also room had a queen bed and a single bed.

Bathroom - mediocre.

Breakfast: same everyday, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, Juices, teas, and cafes and Pastries.

Staff - friendly and very helpful.

Location: Far from Sorrento. A 1hr and 15 min and 40 min ferry ride to Positano and Amalfi. We also visited Minori, which was an hour ferry ride. We took a taxi to the Ferry ports cost roughly $15-20 euros, however it is also a 35 min walk if possible. Ferry’s end early roughly around 6-7pm depends on location. Hotel arranged a private taxi for $200/way return.l as we stayed out longer. Restaurants near by. City centre is about 45 min walk, there are more bars and restaurants there.

Overall, very pleasant stay.

We spent a week at Hotel Polo Nautico and it is a hidden gem. A beautiful view of the coast and Salerno from our ocean view balcony, very clean rooms and exceptional staff. They truly went above and beyond to help us while we were there. Wonderful experience. Grazie mille!

Firstly, the staff, staff, staff were amazing!!! Friendly, accommodating, helpful and happy to see you.
The view from the terrace was spectacular as was the view from my room . Would’ve loved a pool too but there is the ocean. It was approx 30 mins walk to the ferry where you have many day trip options. Also, take a stroll into the town of Salerno where you’ll find many cafes and shopping and the train station is centrally located too. Thank you to the amazing staff 🙏

We got a room that was facing the street and above a restaurant. It was so noises all night long as if we were sitting on the street. Every time someone would flush the toilet we would hear this crazy gurgling noise in our bathroom

The sound of the sea

We had a truly fantastic time here in the most beautiful room overlooking the sea. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, making us feel very welcome.
Yeraldine and her team went the extra mile and prepared our room wonderfully with the most beautiful finishing touches.
Great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, excellent aircon, easy parking, breathtaking views and the soothing sound of the sea. A trip to remember.

Waterfront property and gorgeous views from balcony. Hotel has an old nautical theme that is quaint. Rooms are small, as expected in Italian hotels.
However, the advertised free WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms, just down in the lobby, making it inconvenient to use and access.

The staff was very helpful with everything we needed. The room itself was huge and so was the private balcony over looking the ocean. The breakfast was quite nice with lots of variety and excellent coffee. Free parking on the street.

My family and I were staying in Rome and decided last minute to take a day trip to the Amalfi Coast so we booked sea view suites at Polo Nautico. The views were absolutely breathtaking from our rooms! Staff are super friendly, helpful and always smiling. The restaurant staff don’t really speak English but we were able to get by and they were very patient with us. The local beaches are not very pretty, unfortunately really dirty and littered with trash. The location is not far from a wide variety of shops and great places to eat. The restaurant here at the hotel was phenomenal and I highly recommend anything with seafood!! The only negative I have is that they say they have free WiFi but nobody can connect because the signal is so weak that it doesn’t work. Honestly, I was not concerned with that because we were so happy with the views and spending time together in this beautiful place!

Hotel had broken windows in stairway and mirror broken in elevator. Neighborhood is not what you expect it is residential and no pool. We had to pay to use the Lido hotel three blocks away.

We got to the hotel and left about 20 minutes later to check into another hotel. The hotel was pretty far from the ferry which goes to Amalfi and was not in a very good part of town. As 2 girls traveling alone, we immediately gathered that we would not have felt safe leaving the hotel for dinner or to walk around the city.

We were positively surprised by the facility location and amenities; this hotel had it all - accommodating staff, good room, great breakfast, outstanding view on the water front and very close to down town. We shall return to stay there, any time.

Close to beach, room felt like a clinic.

The location close to the beach was excellent. The hotel looked pleasing in the reception and restaurant areas and the patio overlooking the ocean was great. The room however was not warm or welcoming in feel. It felt like an austere hospital room.

This hotel was terrible. It was tired and outdated inside with unhelpful staff.
location was just as bad with a 20 mins taxi raide or 1 hour walk into Salerno.
Breakfast was a shocker....pre packed cakes and cold coffee!!

La posizione fronte mare dell'hotel è senza prezzo. Fare colazione con una vista così è davvero qualcosa. Il personale tutto si è dimostrato attento, empatico, cortese sin dal check-in. Le Stanze non danno proprio l'idea di un 4 stelle, ma per un weekend vanno bene. Colazione abbondante e varia. Lontano dal centro, ma per chi deve andare al mare è perfetto, così come è interessante il ristorante Pepe nero proprio sotto l'hotel.

Sono arrivata alle 13.30. So benissimo che il check in è alle 15, ma non di certo mi aspettato che il sigre alla reception mi dicesse \"sigra si faccia un giro, il check in si fa alle 15\". Mi sarei aspettata un \"Sigra guardo se la camera è pronta\". Essere spediti fuori dalle scatole ancor prima di entrare nell'hotel non mi pare sia segno di un buon servizio.

Hyggelig hotell utenfor sentrum

Hyggelig personale og god frokost. Må ta buss til sentrum av Salerno, da det ligger litt utenfor, men det gikk fint. Vi bodde 7netter og hadde dette som utgangspunkt for ulike utflukter. Sengene var harde, men alt i alt veldig fornøyd.

Stanza molto pulita però mancante di zanzariere ,abbiamo avuto varie “visite di zanzare e blatte.Eccellente Esperienza con l’estetista .
Posizione buona.Condizioni buone non a livello comunque di Hotel a quattro stelle. Nota molto molto negativa:soprattutto nei mesi estivi bisogna invogliare a viaggiare con i nostri animali domestici .. con noi avevamo un cagnolino e avevamo bisogno di un taxi .Purtroppo non è stato possibile , perché non è stato accettato a bordo.
Tutto sommato una piacevole permanenza.

Materasso inconsistente e assolutamente non adatto ad una persona di 80 kg. Inoltre il bagno è piccolo e vecchio.

Hotel confortevole e relativamente vicino al centro della città. Personale accogliente e premuroso, molto disponibile alle esigenze dei clienti.
Nel bagno mancano i portasciugamano; il ristorante presso l'albergo causa Covid è chiuso. Il garage dell'hotel non è gratuito ma ha un costo di 6 euro al giorno.

W Il rumore del mare!

Arrivando l'impressione è buona, il personale gentile, attento, preparato, affabile. La colazione forse un po' limitata, ma in tempi di covid va bene così. Il motivo, però, che ci spinge a tornare in questo hotel ogni volta che siamo a Salerno, è la vista! Le camere affacciano sul mare e partendo dal porticciolo subito sotto, si arriva a dominare l'intero golfo di Salerno nelle giornate buone. Uno spettacolo impagabile! Dà quasi la sensazione di essere su una nave.

Eigentlich schön gelegen, Terrasse am Meer, leider alles ein wenig heruntergekommen, Geländer verrostet, Zimmerwände beschädigt, Aufhänger im Bad lose, leichte Schimmelbildung an den Rändern der Dusche, Toilettenspülung läuft nach, Minibarkühlschrank funktioniert nicht richtig, Kaffe zun Frühstück leider aus dem Automaten statt der guten Maschine. Rezeption was Auskunft und Empfang betrifft nicht gut. Wir hatten für den Preis nicht viel erwartet, deshalb ok für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

vista mare sennò addio sonno

Le camere lato strada sono abbastanza improponibili, rumorose e un pò datate.
Le lato mare più nuove e silenziose purtroppo causa chiacchiericcio delle sei di mattina hanno vanificato la possibilità di un sonno tranquillo.
Direi che come Hotel per quelli dal sonno leggero altamente sconsigliabile
