We opted for this hotel based on parking availability. However we are pleased to report that our room was spacious and well equipped and at a good price. A full breakfast was included and we enjoyed Armenian food at the restaurant in the evening.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. They give out good recommendations where to have dinner, and some of the popular sites to visit. The location is within walking distance to Old Town. The breakfast that is included has a god variety of food items.
The rooms are worn in spots, towels are old,
The floor material is low budget. Average quality for medium rates.

Nice hotel with large, clean, comfortable rooms. We only stayed one night, but it was nice to have the sitting area with the couch and the small kitchenette. The breakfast area was very nice and roomy with a small but adequate selection of food and good coffee.

Everything was great during my stay. Wifi worked great, room was nice and comfortable. I checked in at 2am or so with no problems. Breakfast was good and I had to check out early the last day and they let me take it an hour early to accommodate my schedule. The only thing I didn't like is that I arrived at PLQ/Palanga airport and hoped for a hotel shuttle but was quoted 40 euros. There's a bus for about 3 euros (mini-bus). Location is great--walking distance (through the park across the street) to bus station, near downtown and stores, etc. Staff were all very anxious to help and be friendly.

An excellent place to stay

I was delighted with Ararat Hotel it was just perfect the staff are wonderful and their attention to detail is 2nd to none. The rooms are big and bright but with good block out curtains. Everything that is essential to you stay is on hand and restaurant serve beautiful food It is easy walk into old town while it is in a quiet area I would highly recommend it as a top place to stay.

Well situated good value for money

Well situated hotel just some 10 minutes nice walk from old town of Klaipeda. The hotel is individually designed and different from other hotels, unfortunately our room had a sofa with cigarette burn stain and some other parts and details indicated the need to do some refurbishment, it might be the case this was only for our room. The lobby, restaurant and other area was well maintained and lovely designed.
Breakfast is good with tempting choices even for a vegetarian to most extent.

As the hotel name implies, all rooms had a small kitchen, which was useful, though it reduced the size of the bathroom. The owners of the hotel were Armenian, and had Armenian food and wines on the menu.
The inclusive breakfast was of reasonable quality, and staff were helpful throughout. The old town of Klaipeda, where most restaurants and bars were located, was about a 10 minute walk away, though you could get the bus. It was a little further to the ferry for the Curonian Spit, the castle and museums. We had a hankering for a curry, and found an Indian restaurant in a large out of town shopping centre, Big 2, about 20 minutes away by bus. Visit it while you can, as I don't think it'll survive.

Great Hotel Poor Dinner Restaurant

Great hotel with friendly and exceptional FOH staff, rooms were huge, comfortable and clean. Wifi was outstanding and the hotel position was perfect for getting around with the best restaurants in walking distance. The only downside was the Armenian dinner restaurant which had poor and unfriendly service. Staff were more interested in closing the restaurant 40 min early then checking back on our table which cost them a generous tip and more sales. Very embarrassing for me and my guests who were unable to order more food and dessert. In total contrast the breakfast waitress who was half Lithuanian half Nicaraguan was a total delight and made our breakfast extremely enjoyable even though the breakfast buffet was limited. Evening staff could learn from her friendly professionalism. Hotel management/owners need to rethink their evening service training as this hotel has great potential.

This hotel boasts a small but impressive lobby. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is within a kilometre of OldTown, with its restaurants etc. A convenience store is within 100 metres, and a small park is opposite the front of the hotel. Rooms are quite adequate, and include small \"kitchen\".

Restaurant is Armenian cuisine, which might not be to everyone's taste (including mine). Armenian wine, however, was surprisingly good!

It is a nice newer property 15min walk to Old town. Seems built and operated by an Armenian family with authentic Armenian menu at the restaurant. Small kitchen in the room. Room service. Was all good for the exception of lock of A/C in the room.
Do not confuse this hotel with Ararat Hyatt in Moscow which has no affiliation with.

Pleasant surprise!

This was our first visit to the Ararat hotel, as the other hotel we normally stay was booked full. What a pleasant surprise! The rooms were quiet, clean, and roomy! The restaurant has an excellent dinner menu (Armenian), and the restaurant service was great. It seemed most all of the staff speaks English and Russian, and were all very helpful and courteous. The only thing to complain about is the breakfast selection was not very wide, but the food was still good.

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the bus and train stations. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived too early for check-in, but were able to store our luggage at the hotel so that we could go into town and explore. When 2 of our travelers noticed a strange odor in their room after checking in, they informed the staff, who apologized and immediately found them a different room, which proved to be very comfortable. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent--wonderful variety and delicious. We were extremely satisfied with our experience at this hotel. If we ever return to Klaipeda, we will look no further for accommodations than Ararat All Suites Hotel.

We had an apartment and it was very large, clean and well appointed. The beds were good as was the bathroom. It was mostly glass all around, so very light and airy. The staff were helpful, breakfast was pretty good and the hotel restaurant (Armenian) was reasonable too. Probably one of the better places we have stayed in terms of value for money.

Front desk was a nice guy, forgot my passport at the desk the first night and they gave it back to me in the morning, very cool. There was a loud party happening in the lobby but from my room on the 3rd floor I didn't hear a thing. I was only there to sleep so I didn't experience much of the hotel but what little I did was very pleasant.

Comfortable near Old Town and transportation

The hotel was very modern and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is like a little studio and it would be very convenient to cook there. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The hotel's restaurant, where breakfast is served, is Armenian, and that is reflected in breakfast. Breakfast is a little skimpy on fresh fruit. The hot items were a sausage, an egg dish, and tomatoes, the same each of the three days we were there. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and had superb grilled salmon. There is also a cafe upstairs, where we did not go. The restaurant has it's own wines (so-so) and very good brandy (also at their bar). There is a spa and massage service at the hotel also.It is about a 5 block walk to old town, the same to the harbor. There are other nice restaurants in the area. The bus and train are a three-block walk through a beautiful sculpture park. All in all, a very good experience.

Central location for walking to sites and ferry

High quality hotel with an excellent buffet breakfast included in the price....about six blocks to walk to the ferry to get to the Curonian Spit and the five minute ferry ride cost about $1.00 round trip every half hour or so........about four blocks to Old Town, museums, cafes.....staff speaks English and were always helpful plus they sell their own brandy and wine (titled Ararat - Armenian).....stayed four nights and had a car.....being an apartment hotel it had a fridge, microwave, utensils.....however, you need to bring your own coffee, tea, sugar, bar of soap, shampoo...but there is a small grocery store about half block away.......no cost parking on the side of the hotel and there always were available spaces.....hotel located across from the Sculpture Park which is quite interesting. Very comfortable bed, pillows, comforter. Very clean.......multiple TV stations with BBC and CNN International in English. Art deco type decor. I would definitely stay here again when in the Klaipeda area!

My wife and I were both surprised and pleased at the quality of the hotel. The hotel manager came down to talk to us at check-in. Very pleasant and helpful man. He was always there during breakfast. Excellent cuisine. The first night, we ordered a dinner to our room and the food on our plates was the work of art.

The hotel room was very spacious and the design was great. No mini bar but a nice little kitchen corner. We were extremely satisfied. The quality per price factor is definitely in favour of Ararat Hotel, especially, considering other options in the city.

Das Hotel hat uns gefallen. Die Zimmer waren kleine Appartments mit Kochzeile und sehr groß. Es war alles sehr sauber, aber das Mobiliar war schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Ansonsten war alles gut. Parkmöglichkeiten gab es auch, wobei jedem selbst überlassen ist, ob er tatsächlich direkt vor dem Hotel an der Hauptstraße parken möchte. Reserviert werden konnten Parkplätze im Voraus leider nicht, sodass auf dem Hof alle Parkplätze belegt waren. Wir hatten jedoch Glück und konnten in der Seitenstraße beim Eingang des Hotels kostenlos parken. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war klein, aber fein. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, sodass man die Stadt fußläufig erreichen kann. Wir können das Hotel empfehlen und würden es auch wieder buchen.

Souci à l'arrivée dans la chambre, car il n'y avait que 2 couchages alors que nous étions 3 et cela a été arrangé avec l'hotel qui nous a surclassé et hotels.com a noté son erreur de description (pas de canapé convertble)
Chambre spacieuse mais le soleil rentre trop facilement dès 4h30.... il manque des rideaux....

Fint hotell men problem med støy

Hotellet var helt fint, men rommet mitt var plassert ved siden av utløpet for air-conditionen for hele hotellet. Støyen fra anlegget hindret meg i sovne til normal tid, og resepsjonen viste mindre forståelse enn ventet. Problemet gjelder trolig bare ett rom på hotellet og trolig bare deler av tiden, så erfaringene mine trenger ikke hindre andre i å bruke hotellet.

Frühstück ist gut. Das Doppelbett (140cm) ist etwas schmal für zwei Personen.
Trotz Lage an einer Hauptstraße recht ruhig.

Un bel hôtel bien situé

Bel hôtel situé à environ 10-15 minutes à pieds du centre historique de KLAIPEDA, avec parking gratuit et accueil impeccable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et lumineuses et de décoration relativement modernes. La literie est bonne et la salle de bain correcte. Le petit déjeuner est de très bonne facture. Personnel souriant et serviable (seul accroc à noter au restaurant accolé où une serveuse a essayé de nous surfacturer un repas de façon extrêmement désagréable qui plus est). Prix peut-être un peu élevé mais nous recommandons malgré tout cet hôtel.

Modern, friendly by park with well equipped rooms

Hotel is located by park, a little walk to center of Klaipeda. Rooms are equipped with fridge, water boiler and some with simple kitchen. Some rooms are very spacious. Good food, they do offer room service, w Armenian food, even if not stated. Breakfast is good. Jacuzzi and steam sauna is available at cost. Need to notify at least one hour before for it to be heated up. Wifi works well. Friendly staff, modern interior and nice decorations. I really like this hotel. Only downside this stay was that the room was a little cold.

not far away from center - 15 min.by foot

Гламурный дизайн, приветливый персонал, практически все говорят по русски. Номера просторные, все есть, даже кухня, кроме кондиционера для волос. Единственный изъян - пол в номере из холодного ламината. Все же, 4* должен доставлять удовольствие от ходьбы босиком, было бы судно ковер или дерево...
двухспальная кровать узковата, но есть диван.
ТВ - разнообразно

Tatsächlich eher ein Apartment-Haus als ein Hotel - mit voll ausgestatteter Küche. Nettes Frühstück. Schön für uns als Familie ein Wir waren nur eine Nacht da - wären aber in dieser Stadt und in dieser Landschaft gern länger geblieben.
