Horrible & dirty experience

It is promised to be a 3 start hotel but i think it doesnt even qualify to be a motel. I paid eur 200 for a night for a room worth max 20 euros. The bed was extremely dirty (see pictures (we are blonds!)) (besides spiders in the bed) & the bathroom can hardly be called a bathroom (what you see on the photo is the ‘shower’. The location is very bad too, there are no normal restaurants around. Breakfast place looks terrible, wifi not functional. Avoid it!

When I arrived I was told I didn't have a reservation, I showed the girl at the check-in counter my Expedia booking email and she told me \"someone is already in your room\". It was obviousy a mistake on the hotel part, and I couldn't believe what she was telling me.

After waiting for about 10 minutes she finally sorted out the mess but she didn't apologize for the error.

The hotel has a good size swimming pool, breakfast included was nice and time saving. even though there isn't any decent restaurent close by, the Oriental Village and Skybridge are not far from this hotel.

Old & tired hotel with helpful staff + noisy room

The staff were very helpful and supportive but the hotel was old and tired. It was a cheap, well located transit stop between an inward flight in pm and early outbound ferry in the morning. Facilities were basic, but biggest concern was that every word spoken and movement by the family with young children in the room next door were clearly audible through the connecting door.

Nothing unique about this Hotel really, I got ground floor room infront of the pool and it was awesome, woke up n straight away jump into the pool.
The foods are not much of a choice for breakfast. I only enjoy the porridge. Superb! The room is comfortable, clean, but tv channels is so boring and also make more space for the guest parking pls. Overall the stay is worth the money, thanks Alia’s

Overall a good hotel which suited our circumstances. Very good pool but full of adults and children swimming fully clothed up to 11pm at night so it was noisy and with questionable hygiene by the users. Decent cafe and little bar. The plumbing could be improved, especially the shower which was permanently cold.

Overall ok. Just need to consider to add on the tv channels. During our trips staying at here, everyday just watching tv3.. boring though! Pity to those with kids.. just add the tv channel for kid, the rating will be superb! But aside of that, this hotel is totally great for those who looks for a relax time in Langkawi. Thumbs up!

The hotel is not in the tourist area. It may suit people looking for a quiet place to stay close to the airport. You must have a car or scooter to get around. Breakfast was awful and the staff appeared disinterested. The pool was nice.

Location: Nice hotel close to the airport. But a bit far from the city (Kuah)

Room: The daily cleaning service is very good and clean. The toilet is also very clean. But the only dissatisfaction is that I can see the little cockroaches and see two little cockroaches for two consecutive days.

Breakfast: There are not many breakfast choices, breakfast for three consecutive days is different, but at least our appetite.

Swimming Pool: The water in the pool is a bit cold, the pool was clean.

a very good experience to stay here

it was a great experience to stay here. the hotel is nearby to langkawi airport at a 8 to 10 minutes drive. also provide pick and drop facility, a medium sized swimming pool, bar, good breakfast, just benath to the sea, ac rooms but no fans in the rooms, two storeys but no lift facility, all rooms with balcony and proper ventilation, free WiFi, open area.

The place is far from the crowd in a silent village type area. Next to sea, but beach is not easily reachable nor approachable as it is a swamp.
Surrounded by coconut trees, with clean pool, well laid out rooms. Value for the price

Amazing location, very close to Langkawi International Airport. Stunning view from the property. One side is Mountains and another side is Deep blue sea. Me and my wife enjoyed both views from our room as the swimming pool view was in the middle. If you like privacy and noise free area..this is the place. Also breakfast is adequate enough. Complimentary breakfast with fresh juisce & fruits, Welcome drinks, complementary back & shoulder massage. Also the hotel restaurant offers dinner & lunch within budget. Actually I found it very reasonable comparing to other restaurants in cenang, kotah town. But yes lunch and dinner is a little limited to couple of dishes. Not much option but the food quality and quantity is satisfactory.

The happening areas such as cenang or kutah town a little far but hey if you liie privacy then there's nothing to complain. Overall a good place for couples and family.

This hotel is just ok if you need a bed and that’s it. No view. Staff for the most part aren’t extremely helpful. There is no ice on premises and they send you across the street.

Benefit is location to the airport. Certainly not luxurious in the least.

Nice hotel near the beach.

I totally recommend taking the beach view if u book your hotel here. I think the pool & garden view is a little lack-lustre. The pool looks cloudy a little so I dare not swim. Other than that, service was tip-top, room was clean and the FOC back & shoulder massage was awesome! Breakfast was good too with lots of variety but some of the cooking were bland and did not agree with my tastebuds. Overall, good stay!!! Recommended!!!

Still a nice hotel with pool

I have a very bad experience with this hotel BREAKFAST.
They do provide breakfast but I won't recommend to the guests because the food is so damn sucks, the coffee is tasteless.
The egg is so oily, the mihun and fried rice is so tasteless than a mamak.

Overall this hotel still a good option with the price.
Just the toilet they forgot to put toilet paper and even ask me to the counter and collect by myself after I request.
The toilet flush cannot flush.

Bad breakfast and management

I and my fmly go for breakfast around 9.15 am. But really dissapointed!
1. All dining table are filled with dirty plates. Need to call kitchen staff to clear the table. Wait more than 10 minutes! Atlease they should provide 2 or more clear table for customers.
2. Glass+coffee cup not provided. Need go to kitchen then ask them to wash it for us.
3. No topup rice, careals, and etc. When i asked, they said sorry sir, rice already finished. Just topup mee goreng and potatoes. (One of arabian customers bring the empty careals jar itself to the kitchen)-really angry.
4. Just 1 kitchen staff working on that day and 1 chef. I dont care, because we had paid for breakfast! but got terrible breakfast like this. Kitchen Management very bad. Will never go there anymore. How could they serve empty tray without topup (rice, careals, coffe etc) while it just 9.30 am?

Cockroaches infested Hotel

Yes, you read the title correctly. This hotel had cockroaches wandering around like as if we humans invaded their homes. Our room had cockroaches and mosquitoes all over. When reported to reception, they initially said don’t have a spare room to move you in and sorry can’t help. The staffs attitude really ticked me off and I asked for manager, the front desk guy goes” he is not here and at home” then when I was furious and asked to call him now, he started looking for other rooms. Had this another guy running around the hotel with various keys looking for a room where they can transfer us.

Breakfast - is this a homeless shelter ?

All in all, it appears they are running a circus with clueless clowns.

The room was clean and we had a nice stay.

Positives: Room attendants were nice and friendly. At the end of the day, I have given a good review overall as essentially we got what we paid for. All was ok - the room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Negatives: The hotel is not as nice as the pictures. Public areas are in serious need of maintenance. Breakfast staff acted like they had the worst job in the world and didn't want to be there.

This hotel and the room was nothing like the pictures. Unfortunately we had to stay the night because no other hotels would let us book a room as it was late in the day. We got here early morning and the room was not available so we went out for the whole day. When we got back in the evening and went to our room it was a nightmare. The walls were dirty, looked like it had not been cleaned. The Internet was not working, the towels were dirty and the TV had two channels, both not showing clearly. We only stayed one night because we had too and booked into a nearby hotel and left first thing in the morning.

Good choice if on budget

Stayed for 4 nights. Swimming pool got some dregs. Quite small room but just nice if only to stay for the night. Wifi got problem. Friendly staff. Breakfast will rotate the same menu for every 3 days. The food is quit delicious though. Parking quite limited.

Overall, this is a very good value budget hotel. While you shouldn't expect luxury when making the booking, I am happy to write that the staff exceeded all expectations and did everything that could to make my stay in Langkawi enjoyable (they were even kind enough to share some Durian with me on my last night there!). Not the kind of place to stay if you're trying to impress a GF, but definitely a great home base if you're looking for an authentic Langkawi experience.

Context: 33 year old male, spent much of my time in Langkawi on a scooter, lover of Malaysian food.

When we arrived they gave us a room with one million ants. The girl in the reception told us that we couldn't get another room unless we paid extra. She wasn't nice at all and after arguing in 10 minutes she called her manager who gave us a better room, but still, it wasn't nice. The pool was so dirty that you could not even see the bottom in the 30 cm deep kidspool. It was awful. The breakfast was so bad that we didn't eat something at all. We were just drinking a coffee. You can't swim at the beach and there's no good restaurants in the area. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.

Good for a cheap stay

The main activity area is Cenang beach which is a bit far from the hotel. Since this was our first trip, we were not aware. However it was 10 mins ride from our hotel and Uber was quite cheap. local taxi seems to be much more expensive. Lot activities to do and many sight seeing places. The hotel seemed quite remote. there was only one small store at 2 mins walking and one good restaurant at 2 min drive. Overall it felt better to have booked a hotel closer to cenang beach.

Breakfast at the hotel was not very good. Very few options and very less quantity which would finish very soon.

There is an open sea behind the hotel but the beach is dirty and not used.

The hotel does not have its own restaurant. Since breakfast was included, and from some photos, we assumed they have a restaurant.

I know the hotel well and I would always choose to stay there. It is very close to the airport. There are several Malay restaurants close by. Bike hire is available. There is no beach so you need a bike to get anywhere. Very friendly and worth a visit.
