I requested a change to my booking through the Hotels.com messaging system prior to the stay, and the hotel acknowledged the request. However, follow-up communication was unclear and difficult to resolve.

Clearer and more consistent handling of guest requests would be appreciated.

Well the resort it'self is Excellent...but there is none convenience shop around...so might need a ride to buy anything...else is thumbs up,👍👍👍👍

Nice hotel.

Hotel is very spacious room very big we took Bangalore with bath tub very clean, strong hot water,king size bed, 2 swimming pools kids pool separate,reception staff Nabila very helpful and friendly, even we had a long chat with the owner's father at sitting area near pool having our breakfast very friendly person. Very humble. Nice place for families & couples even friends also can have a nice place stay. Only one thing if had in house breakfast included at hotel would be best, no one have to go look for breakfast outside the premises. They have lots of land can build breakfast areas. Then will get more familes will stay there. Reception have a special MoMo cat welcome all the guests. Love him cute cat. Nice resort to stay.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. The quality of rooms can be improved but in general room was clean, everything working, we choose bungalow not the room, so it was good choice. Public areas around very nice and greenery, very beautiful lighting during the night

The swimming pool was probably the only good thing about this hotel. We booked a double room with shared bathroom and it felt like being in the staff quarters! Staff clearly didn’t enjoy their job and lady on reception in the afternoon was particularly unhelpful and blunt. Room was very run down and it felt like if you book the lower room types all they cared about was the money.

We were given a chalet at the end of the resort, facing a swamp & a compound that was being built. Debris everywhere. The plumbing was ancient and the moment we arrived, we saw dirty water coming out of the drain in the toilet. We had not even used the toilet yet. When we asked them to take a look, the housekeeping guy said will do something & left. We waited for almost an hour as my children wanted to use the toilet but no one came. Pool is run down, and the entire resort looks deserted. Worried for our safety & well-being, we checked out within 2 hours and went to another hotel.

If you like being in a natural environment, this is the place to be in. But be prepared to have encounters with cats and insects.... The restaurant which is 1 min away serves awesome food at reasonable value. We went as a big group of 30 pax and we enjoyed our stay. The common area accommodated is for our meals and late-night chats.

The swimming pool looks deceiving though. It’s not as big as it looks in the pictures.

5mins drive from the beach. There were ants in the room and the aircon and tv remote control were not working. Requested for new towels and water on the next day but was told to go back and wait for house keeping to replace it for us - which never came.

Cheap and in need of refurbishment

Comfy bed but didn’t change sheets once during our stay
Tatty furniture with cigarette burns in laminate and had seen better days about 10 years ago
There did look to be some newer rooms on site which could have been better
No proper cleaning of toilet or sink all week and coffee stains from previous guests on top of fridge on arrival
Very poor cheap shower gel and shampoo that was replaced on a very minimal basis had to ask receptionist for more
Good things were fridge worked well as did the air con and shower. The bathroom was outside so was very hot and humid and we did see a couple of cockroaches in there but never in room
Price was good and was the reason for booking but we would not stay again
Was a bit too far from town and beach but grab taxi only cost 75 pence each way

Not close to anything and extremely noisy. At least a 45 minute walk to shops etc. You can hear everything in the other rooms and people are constantly out in hall being very very loud at all hours.

I have booked a superior family room that comes with 2 king size bed. Nice hotel especially with the kids. The pool is just outside my room and the kids are super excited. It’s only 10 min drive to Cenang Beach. Very convenient if you have small kids. Definitely will come back and stay.
For the cleanliness : I hope the hotel will consider cleaning up the walls and the ceiling as I can see cobwebs.

Overall the hotel was excellent. Great view & nice facilities.
But......., the housekeeping staff was not friendly & avoid to clean
my room eventhough the sign 'Please Clean My Room' was put on the door.
It would be nice if the hotel have more cafe/restaurant (for breakfast) nearby.

We Choose to stay in a couples bungalow the room was nice and comfy, below is the pros and cons

Pros - Quiet during weekdays, Room was big, Pool was right in front of room, Alot of parking, Quick Check in

Cons - Open air bathroom allows insects/cockroaches to fly in, room air-cond was hot in afternoon due to poor heat insulation, housekeeping doesn't clean room properly as there were dust and cobwebs on ceiling

If you are reading this, this is your correct decision to be made. New hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Block E F G has the best location, right in front of the pool. Nice food served in 2 restaurants.

Nice hotel room but poor facilities

Overall good stay at Lavigo because of the clean room and great air conditional. Clean and comfortable room. However, need bring up two point as below:

1. Open air bathtup : Dirty

2. Block A : too high for senior citizen to climb up the room.

cleanliness should be paid more attention.

Housekeeper just tidy up the room by putting things in order and vacumm (not replacing the new bed sheet during my 10 days stay), housekeeper did not clean the toilet seats or the toilet.
The hotel is relatively new but it is poor maintenance issues due to housekeeping. Housekeeper forgot to put water/coffee/toilet paper in my room a couple times and I need to walk to the reception to ask for those items.
There is no telephones in the room to ring the receptions and I had to walk back and fort.
Water in the swimming pool was not clean so my son got some fluid-filled blisters along the arms and legs after 1 day swimming in the pool.
The owner is friendly and nice but to be honest the services need to be improved.
Hotel's restaurant has good food and friendly people. I recommend you should try the restaurant.
We checked-in very late at night but the reception staff still wait for us and we thank you for that.
Wi-fi in the room is really bad and we had to use 4G network most of the time.
