It was very convenient to find food options around the area as well as to get supplies. There is only 1 small lift for the whole hotel though so sometimes you have to take the shelterless staircase at the side.

Water takes a while to heat up but still decent. Overall still a pleasant experience.

Average hotel in Cenang

It's not a beach resort so don't be deceived by the name. It's located across the beach road so it's not on the beach. The windows are in front of the windows of the adjacent building so there's no privacy. The swimming pool looks dirty. Overall, it's an average hotel but the location is convenient

only few things.
(1) 1 lift only for whole of hotel.
(2) Only found room with balcony very attractive. It had beautiful sea views.
(3) Although it was free parking sharing with another hotel the parking slots were limited.
Apart from the above we truly recommend this hotel. this was our third time stay and won’t be our last.

Rooftop Resto Just So So

Good hotel. Just the surrounding is noisy & very limited rooms with sea view. & don't put high hopes on the rooftop restaurant. I heard they speak Thai. but was surprised that the food quality isn't at par with Thai's. very small portion. omelette just simply egg. don't mix with anything. & pan cakes just a size of a saucer. lol!

This property was not very expensive. The room was very good but the Wi-Fi was poor and people were having to sit in the corridor to get a decent connection. The entrance is through a shopping alley. The best part of this hotel was the rooftop restaurant with stunning views over the sea. . It is worth a visit even if you are not staying at the hotel.
As a solo traveller who only wanted a room to sleeping it was okay. I would not recommend for family or someone who wanted a bit more luxury. But as value for money goes it was a decent place to stay and put your head down for a couple of days.

Good location but a little worn out

Hotel is located at a central location in Cenang beach with everything a stones throw away. Condition of the hotel is a little worse for wear but clean. You can have breakfast and dinner at the rooftop restaurant with a view overlooking the sea. Food was ok. This hotel isn't connected directly to the beach but it's just a short walk over. Even shorter if you take a shortcut through the other hotels opposite of the road. There are some limited parking lots behind the hotel, but if you don't find a spot you can try to park along the street.

Great rooftop restaurant with fantastic view

The view out the upper stories front and the rooftop is spectacular, and probably the best thing about this hotel. Do plan a sunset dinner on the newly opened rooftop restaurant.

Other than the location was great. Everything else sort of fall apart. To begin, after I checked into room 500, the ceiling was leaking. I promptly notified the reception at which he gave me a spare room to go in first (a family room) while they made the necessary repairs. After I checked into the room, 5 minutes later he called me and told me there's another room with similar value (which was with balcony and facing the sea). Suffice to say, I was immensely irritated and had to re-pack all my items into my bag again, go down and grab the new set of door keycards.

Also, when I checked into room 500, there was a rove beetle!!!! (Charlie ant) Google it up. I was horrified and quickly killed it using the floor mat. I could identify it by it's colour and the pointy end of it's body.

So there's that. A 'great' stay.

My partner and I stayed in the Deluxe Sea View Room on the top floor (level 5) where you can get a decent size balcony with a fantastic sea view. We would say that this would one of the best budget hotel you can get around Cenang, as we noticed that some of the neighboring hotels may may been blocked by some buildings by the beach. Staff were friendly and efficient, the location of the hotel is fantastic as well. It is located right in the middle of Cenang where there are plenty of small food stores, restaurants and souvenir shops along the entire stretch. Cenang Mall and several fast foods chains are also approx. 5 mins walk away, and it takes you approx. 10 mins to get to the Underwater World. There are also a couple of Duty Free stores just a stone's throw away.

Cons: As much as the room has met our expectations, we will not recommend anyone to go for any rooms with balcony during the monsoon season (August - Oct, according to the locals). We were awaken by the noise caused by the rain and strong wind (sharp whistling noises from the wind & minor shaking of the sliding door) in the middle of the night, and quite a significant amount of water from the rain was also flowing into our room through the balcony's sliding door. In addition, you may wish to note that there is no hotel security and anybody can easily access the lift and to any floors that they wish.

Overall, we would rate this hotel 8 / 10.

you should state that the rooftop bar is not under the hotel...its different management,and more worst we stay there because of that bat,and when we reached there the bar temporary closed..plus the room we requested for 2 single bed but still we were given 1 king bed and the receptionist is not friendly at all or maybe because its not 4 or 5 star hotel which we pay for the service...i try to contact expedia on that day through the number at expedia website but it didnt go through..i totally worst..this gonna be my first and last time using the expedia..thanks

1. The hotel is leaking everywhere. Understand is raining session but they must take this into consideration.
2. There’s someone open our room’s door with their access card (I believe is cleaner) even before our check out time, lucky we did ledge the meta ledge.
3. We go for the rooftop sunset view, but when we are there, is under renovation which never inform customer and nothing compensation to be done.

The pool is the best feature of this hotel. The beds were VERY uncomfortable! Like sleeping on a bag of rocks. We had to change rooms because our room smelled like smoke when people in the room above us smoked - despite the hotel supposedly being non-smoking - but the bed was no better!

Great location right in the middle of Cenang's beachfront area. Friendly staff. Some housekeeping issues - toilet roll and dirty mugs not always replaced but usually good! Our shower was a little hit and miss but the aircon was very reliable. Decent value for money. Wifi largely usable. Decent breakfasts available in the rooftop cafe with a 10% discount for hotel guests.

This place was overpriced. It was dirty. The rooms are in poor condition. The shower gets the entire bathroom wet. There is only one bath towel per person. The outlets require an adaptor. The roof bar area is often closed for private parties. After complaining staff blamed other staff members and responded. The free breakfast was nice.

Apart from the location of the hotel, I didn’t have the greatest time here.

While I stayed there, the sheets were never changed, the shower was not cleaned, bathroom mat was not changed, and at one point they even forgot to give us clean towels.

The kettle never worked and neither did some of the lamps.

The cleaners were playing loud music at 6.30am on a daily basis outside our doors!

As for calling this room a deluxe room, I wonder what would be classed as a standard!

I guess you get what you paid for!

We love the rooftop nest cafe.
The room and bathroom could be cleaner.
We hv 20 minutes til check out time and the room key didn’t work so we hv to go downstairs to reception to deactivate the key so we can get our bags. Meanwhile someone else was trying to get into our room before we even got out of there.

I've stayed here before and my last time was excellent. But this trip i wasn't very pleased for the below reasons:

1. I arrived 1.5 hrs early and wanted to check in, rooms were not ready.
2. The room service staff tried to enter my room with me still inside, lucky the door was lashed from inside.
3. Guest must now pay for breakfast in the hotel I'm a guest in the hotel, which means i've paid for the room, so least is to give breakfast as a complimentary. .

AWESOME!

Location is amazing, right in the middle of Pantai Cenang so its walkable within the area. Room is very spacious and clean. I just wish there were allocated guest parking so we won't have to make several round of driving to look for a spot. Overall, pleasant stay.

Hotel was super accessible, the staff were friendly, helpful and honest. They told us that they no longer did airport transfer as grab is available and it’s cheaper. The hotel is right in the middle and there’s plenty of things to eat, and if you want to book some tours, there are several tour agencies around. Plenty of shops as well and it’s walking distance to chenang beach and mall. The hotel amenities are as listed, no surprises and we had a pleasant stay!

Overall my stay was OK. However, they should improve more on cleanliness of the room especially the pillow case and bedsheet. I would recommend the Nest Rooftop. All staffs are friendly. Ladies can get free drink on Ladies Night!
