Stay was quite pathetic and an awful experience. They charge an extra 53 ringgit as deposit and return the 50 ringgit upon checkout. Washrooms are the dirtiest that you can imagine. No hand faucet, no hot water, no fan. The split AC in the room is a joke, it not only weeps when trying to cool but also stops in the middle of the night.
The photos of this place is a graphic editor’s creative visualization. Also, they don’t provide toiletries and parking space. If you park the car in their space, you have to drop the keys with them.

Good location, decent slides in the small pool but bad service and only 1 socket in the room worked. Very dark room, no place to put laptop. Refrigerator out of power whenever you leave the room so what’s the point of providing one? We’ve stayed at 10 hotels on this long trip now and this one was the worst one.

The hotel is old, dead. Dirt and trash, and this is near the reception! The toilet near the pool is dirty and stink. It's scary to go in. The staff is not friendly, it reacts very badly to requests. We were planted in a very bad room. The sockets worked and sewers flowed straight from the sink to their feet. After long negotiations, we managed to get another number. It turned out to be more acceptable. The hotel left no pleasant memories. I do not recommend it!

Нас зазелили в очень плохой номер. Розетки на работали и из раковины текла канализация прям на ноги. После долгих переговоров нам удалось получить другой номер. Он оказался более приемлемым. Отель оставил не приятные воспоминания. Не рекомендую!

The location is good. It is located close to the beach and a number of restaurants.
Only found out later that room is only cleaned and coffee etc replaced if you ask. We weren't told this, so bought our own.
We stayed on the ground floor. There were students in the room on the floor above us. We got no sleep. We complained to reception, but received no feedback and the noise continued through every night. Unpleasant. It would be worth asking for a room on higher levels.

The room aircon is not cold even though I've left it on for few hours and the temp setting is 21 degree C. The one that is most frustrating is that the hotel management doesn't seem serious on the customer's satisfaction. I complained about the TV channel in my room that only 1 channel is available. First day complaint and I was told it will be resolved the next day. However the next day still with 1 channel only. Make another complaint and was told on the spot that that's all they can do. So for the rest of the remaining two days I have only 1 channel to watch.
Also the water pressure is low and no toiletries in the bathroom.

This hotel was perfect for budget travelers like myself. The check-in process was quick and easy. The location of the hotel was great and all necessary amenities were provided (towel, water dispenser, ac, wifi, etc.). On the other hand, the room had no windows and felt a little damp when we first arrived.

Hotel Staff is Pathetic, quite Rude.
Hotel Rooms are mostly Smelly, feels like you are caged in a Jail.
If you book from Expedia, they would mostly give you the Rooms on Ground Floor, which are very very noisy.
If you ask the hotel staff about anything in the Hotel that's not working, they would not fix it, just ask you to manage it yourself.
Probably this was the worst experience so far with any Hotel Stay.

Very basic hotel, hotel advantage is due to walk in distance to Cenang beach and Underwater World. Staff not friendly at all and feel unwelcome. No telephone in the room, any request you need to use your mobile phone to call the reception or need to came down. Stain pillow case and bed sheet with bad smell. Ask HK to change it and the HK staff show the sour face. No parking provided. There is no cleaning service if you stay more than one night, it must be request. Nobody inform us during check in time, it was so shame. During our last day the lift was closed under maintenance and we ask the night reception if there any bellboy can help us bring down our luggage's for next morning and they said no worries they can arrange for it. Upon check out we call the reception and asking for bellboy and unfortunately the morning front desk mentioned there is nobody can help us and we need to bring down our self using staircase. What the service!

Strategic location for tourists

Overall I’d rate our stay 4 out of 5. The location of this hotel is super strategic, it’s near to the McD, duty-free mall and the eateries which are mostly few steps away from the hotel. Also, staffs seemed friendly most of the time. The only drawbacks of our stay was; one of the rooms that we stayed in had some used cotton buds at the corner of the room (uncollected by the housekeeper incharged), it was already there when we first entered the room. Also, our room’s air-conditioner stopped functioning a few times on our first two days there. However, our stay wasn’t that bad after all. The hotel is somewhat in the middle of Pantai Cenang and it’s near to almost everything.

Very good value for money. Easy walking distance of both Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah beaches. Taxi rank just opposite.
Lovely swimming pools.

We are happy with the hotel.

Despite of the many bad reviews. We were lucky to have a clean and spacious room, clean bathroom with water heater, clean sheets and blankets. As well as brand new towels. - Thank you.
We stayed for 3 days from 4th - 6th Dec 2017. I'm guessing the hotel has upgraded their room and facilities and taking into account the complains into improving their services.
The counter staffs are also friendly and helpful. We didn't get the chance to spent time in the hotel pool, although we did noticed some cleaning in the morning, and the pool doesn't look dirty or unpleasant and guests seems to be having good time in the pool.
Although there's only one cons though, the aircond is not that cold, but it's fine because we only spent time in the room short while - bathing and resting/sleeping. Most of the time we're outside enjoying our holiday.
Parking issue is understandable due to it is located by the main road of Chenang Beach, just right opposite of Underwater World and The Zon Duty Free mall.
For those who are wondering, yes the room has mini fridge, and no, there's no toiletries provided, so you need to bring your own. (to some is okay because toiletries is personal care so you might prefer your brand).
Cold and hot water are available at the lobby's water dispenser. There's a jug in the room for you to fill up the eater and mugs as well.
Hope this info helps.
So, 4 stars from us.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed

Our room had no windows, a concrete-hard lumpy bed, no bedding and stunk from the drains. The towels were old and musty, there was a fridge that didn't work, windows that didn't lock, tea and coffee but no kettle and glasses with but no fresh water. The only thing that was provided was a refillable bottle of hot pink \"soap/shampoo\" in the shower...which I didn't want to put on my skin. The staff were rude and would leave the desk when we walked in so as not to serve us. Our room felt like a prison cell, and smelt worse. Don't make our mistake, stay somewhere else in cenang.

Everything you could need on your doorstep

My first impression of the hotel was how lovely it looked, it had a lift and the front desk was always manned when I went passed, They have two pools, one with one or two slides for children and another pool next to it. I stayed in a standard room which was completely adequate for me, it had a small fridge, dressing table with a drawer and big mirror, a TV mounted on the wall opposite the bed (I didn't watch it so I don't know how many or which channels they had), air conditioning, a very big bed, a double wardrobe with a few hangers and a bathroom which was more of a wet room, it had a toilet, shower, sink, mirror and a hand wash in there for you to use. there was also a tray with a couple of cups and glasses with a jug for water. It didn't have a balcony, just windows looking out to the pool. I loved the location, as soon as you walk out you are surrounded by shops (duty free, clothes, gifts, groceries, and practical items), restaurants (every type of cuisine you can think of) and activities (right opposite the hotel there is a small 6D cinema, Underwater World with the beach just round the back of it with various water activities). There is also a money exchange place right outside the hotel and plenty of places to book day trips I went on a Grand Island Tour which included The Oriental Village, the Cable Cars, Crocodile Adventure Land and Eagle Square. It was a really great day out and I would recommend it.

Pictures of the hotel were fake! The hotel was noisy, and dirty. The walls were thin and the door was not fire rated, so anyone walking on the halway could be heard. It reached to the point that I had to go to the beach till morning to survive the headache. Long story short, dont book this hotel

This hotel got good location and just opposite the Underworld water and nearby attraction, restaurant and nearby Cenang Mall and children pool with 2 slide to play and staff there also very polite. However in term of facilities, you have to self prepare the toiletties and bring your own towel (they provided very old towel, no shampoo and bath form, no toothbrush and paste), you have to request the staff for room cleaning if no, they wont clean it, no kettle in the room, you have to get your water outside the room. TV no other programme, dont expect any Astro or Channel 8 or NTV7. No wifi inside room .This is really a budget hotel . However overall I still acceptable.

Hotel has potential but it's just that, potential!

The hotel needs to be updated in term of the room deco. It has potential to look nice with a refurbishment. Their mattresses and terreblely uncomfortable and stiff, makes for a bad nights sleep. However the location is great and ideal. The staff are really good and friendly, very helpful and respectful at all cost.

It was a great hotel, the room is clean no insect, even tho the t.v is small,but that doesn't matter because the swimming pool infornt of the room.. The receptionist took a long time to do check in, but it's ok,since they said sorry to me.. The main door should have awning since the customer gt hit from the rain.

We book last minutes before our flight to Langkawi. The room is spacious but everything is so basic. One thing that we like is the swimming pool. We didn't have nice sleep since the pillow and the bed made my body uncomfortable. They only provide soap and towel. The rest you need to bring or buy it downstair. The location is just in front of coco valley. Don't worry, the staff there is nice.
When we first arrived, the lift was working well. But starting from the evening until we check out, we need to use stairs to go to our room on second floor. Very uncomfortable. TV only has two channels and no wifi.

We had a good time and hotel was good too. But ONLY very disappointed with Wifi. The reception said that Wifi is ONLy available in the lobby area and NOT in the rrrom. We booked this hotel because of its location, which was great but upon arriving the staff were not friendly at all. They never said hi or anything to us. The check in experience was unpleasant. The management messed up our booking and spent almost an hour to search/confirm the room. We book for 1 king bed room (2 adults) and 2 king bed room (4 adults). The receptionist says that they are out of 2 king bed room and can only accommodate us with a triple room + extra mattress. We are not very happy with the arrangement as during my booking I paid the price for a quadruple room but were then given a triple room. The management say they could not do anything as it was full house. My opinion is if the hotel runs out of the quadruple room then why my booking still went through? The price for a quadruple room and a triple room with extra mattress definitely are not the same.

My mom n my child feel happy and excited to been there..and never expect that the hotel so nice..and also good for my child to swim at the playground in water..wow..
