My stay was satisfactory, although it did not fully meet my expectations based on the pictures presented on Expedia. The showerhead did not function properly, which was disappointing. However, I would like to commend the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness throughout my visit.

Great stay

The service was excellent. All staff were very friendly. The villa itself is very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Breakfast was great.
The pool is under the shade of trees which meant there was a lot of leaves in and around the pool, despite staff sweeping. Overall the pool area is not inviting and could probably do with some TLC. This was the only thing stopping me from giving a 5 star review

Great location! Walking distance to Ceneng (Main spot in Langkawi) yet secluded. Owner, workers, and security guards were professional and kind. Will book again when I go back to Langkawi!

Good location and great service!

Service was amazing, staff made u feel at home. Love the spread of breakfast offered especially the local hot dishes. Within walking distance to several restaurants as well as a convenience stall. Room is clean and has everything you need. Definitely will recommend anyone who’s coming to langkawi!

We had a great time at villa molek. We would recommend it for everyone who is searchin a calm , relaxing place for the vacation. The Suite was qlean and very cozy. The place is 5 min from tengah beach a small quit beach or 10 min walk to cenang beach away. We loved our stay here.

However, sliding doors in bedroom vibrates quite strongly in the nights when the wind blows. Quite disturbing.

Could not fault this hotel the fact that it's rated as 3star is misleading as they have thought of everything down to the smallest detail for guests comfort Breakfast was excellent with a comprehensive selection to choose from room was stunning with a large tv a super king size 4 poster bed mini fridge which was stocked daily with bottles of water All in all a very pleasant stay and l wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel

Nice villa close to beach and a main street.

This was one of the best villas we have ever stayed at. Super clean and well maintained. The staff was absolutely amazing. A big shout out to Lily who made our stay impeccable. She made sure our stay there went as smoothly as possible from explaining and booking excursions to even printing out our boarding passes. We were sad we had just missed her to say goodbye.
This villa is only a 2 minute walk from a quiet beach and close to several restaurants and spas. As well as only a few extra minutes away from a main road (Jalan Pantai Cenang).

We had a first floor apartment overlooking the pool and it was great for us. The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was very good. There was some building going on nearby (by the nearest beach) but this didn't detract from a really enjoyable stay.

Lovely homely villa close to beach and town

The staff are lovely and went out of their way to make sure everything was done for us, booking tours, ordering cabs and even delivering a mini breakfast buffet to our villa on our final night as we had to leave early.

The villa was big and had everything we could have needed. Bars, beach, restaurant and he main town are all within walking distance. If you want to rent a car or bikes the cheapest option is to turn left out of the hotel and walk about 1km.

The free foot massage is a bonus.

Serene villa with spacious rooms but overpriced.

The rooms are well done up and spacious, the villa is peaceful and serene, the general cleanliness was fine but could be more thorough. They didn't change the sheets for the duration of our stay. The breakfast was mediocre, wifi was good, free toiletries were good. Small swimming pool was not very clean. Staff was not very friendly. Location is good , fairly close to the main beach. They also gave us a complimentary foot massage each at their foot spa which was great. Seemed like the more decent of properties in the area and that's why we chose it, but it is very overpriced in my opinion.

Beautiful retreat

We had a most relaxing time at Villa Molek. The room was spacious and well designed, clean and quiet, the bed very comfortable. A balcony with views over green paddocks just for us. Well tended tropical gardens all around. The best thing was the friendly hosts, Peter and Sue, who warmly welcomed us and nothing was to much. They even took us privately to one of the food markets. We loved staying at Villa Molek and will highly recommend it to our friends. Thank you so much

A little overpriced. Rooms were roomy, sort of Indonesian style. Don't stay on a ground floor unit as it's dark. Second floor has more light. Breakfast was so-so. Hotel needs a refresh. Staff was friendly.

Wonderful stay. Loved the breakfasts and free foot massage. Tasteful and spacious rooms made for a very relaxing time. Staff were very helpful. I am so grateful to Sue for giving me the 'magic lotion' when I got stung by jelly fish and her thoughtful approach - felt so at home there!

Great place in Langkawi, no reason to go elsewhere

Great place to stay! Close to the beach, less than five minute walk. Great breakfast with an amazing spread of food. Great villa, with all the amenities you need. Close to restaurants, motorbike/car rental next door, duty free shop for alcohol. They can also help with any tours/transportation. We really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again.

Truely a boutique hotel

Villa Molek will cater to all your wishes, and they can, because there are only 12 units in the hotel, which is wonderfully designed along a cool infinitey pool in a lush garden. Each unit is a suite with all the amenities you need, even French lotion and soap. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach down a small road and they provide big straw mats to lie on. There is also massage and a very nice restaurant attached to the hotel. And soon 2 Malay houses will be refurbished for rental as well. The breakfast has everything you could possibly want to eat and great service. We felt treated like royalty.

A beautiful place to stay just moments from the beach. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, giving local advice about things to do on the island. It was also very convenient that there was a car & scooter rental place just next door.

N.B. There were some building works between the villa and the beach (it was low season) but these didn't disturb the tranquility of the stay.

Low value for what it charges

low value for money.
For the price this hotel charges you the value was not up to the standard. Villa molek brands itself as a luxury hotel but we were quite disappointed. It would have been ok if the price was half the one it charged but it can't charge top hotel prices for uncomfortable beds, a neglected pool and lack of wifi access in the room. The staff was very friendly especially during check in. And breakfast and th food was good. But we found the owner inflexible and nowhere to be found once we encountered difficulties. I would recommend to all fellow travel liners not to book more than one night.

Lovely individual villas, great roti & curry for breakfast, quiet and peaceful. Bath robes, beach towels, beach mats and flipflops provided. Small pool great for cooling off (esp in jellyfish season at beach). Sun loungers worse for wear, should be replaced. Few doors away from laundrette and plenty of dining choices. Only 1km from Cenang Mall but not much shade when walking in the the middle of the day.

I highly recommend Villa Molek

This was the first trip to Langkawi for my wife and I and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The beaches are fantastic and Villa Molek provided all the comforts we needed to make our stay a very memorable one. The service was very friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was tasty and included a wide selection of choices. We'll definitely be going back there! We stayed in room 101 which was great, decent air con and very roomy.

A quiet oasis not far from the busy Main Street

The hotel is situated on the quieter beach of Tengah, but within walking distance of the very busy beach Cenang. It is very quiet and only a five minute walk from the beach. There is a very nice beach bar called Sugar that serves good food.
The hotel is situated amongst gardens and each room has a shaded verandah. The pool is small but adequate. It is a small hotel and very quiet but the staff are excellent. Good breakfast.

Nice and quiet with friendly staff

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our 4 nights in Villa Molek. The apartment was nicely finished and very clean. The staff were very accommodating and gave us a great welcome talk explaining tours on Langkawi and tips to get about. There is a small, quiet beach just 5 mins walk away or the main beach Pantai Chenang an easy 15 min walk away. It was really hot so the (small) pool was welcome although we did get a couple of bug bites. It was a nice retreat from the main strip and days away were simply arranged at the front desk.

Very pleasant relaxing villa. The bed was so comfy and lots of extra little touches such as snacks, fruit and toiletries. The breakfast was very tasty and a good selection and staff were friendly and helpful. What would make this a perfect stay would be a bigger pool with sunlight and a gym. We would definitely recommend a stay here

Relaxed atmosphere at Molek.

Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. villas were immaculately clean and included little extras like snacks,beach thongs,beach mats, fruit and bottles of water and a free foot massage. Great breakfast. Surrounded by tropical gardens. Shopping at Langkawi was disappointing catering more for the Moslem community but to be fair these were the bulk of the tourists.

One staff did not give us an enough service. We asked arrange a taxi to go airport for last day, however he did not prepared and he had left when we were ready because his shift time was over. Another kind staff arranged soon, so it was no problem.
He should be more responsible...
Other than that, our stay in villa Molek was fantastic.

Romantic spot away from the crowds

Only 12 rooms in this small complex, all facing the small pool. Staff here was great, helpful and responsive. Breakfast is included and the chicken curry and eggs are made to order. 5 minutes walk to the beach and the Lighthouse Cafe, where you can enjoy the sunset.

There are two restaurants at the front that are reasonable and were quite busy.

No children allowed, this is a good place for couples who want to be treated like adults.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in der Villa Molek.
Wunderschönes grosse Zimmer mit Sofa ect. sehr sauber. Das Hotel ist 10 Min von der Cenang Beach entfernt, perfekte ruhige Lage mit gutem Restaurant.
Frühstück sehr lecker und schön angerichtet.
Sehr empfehlenswert, sehr nettes Personal, top!

Kaikki meni meidän 4 viikon aikana upeasti, jopa haku lentokentätä ja vienti lentokentälle tapatuivat hotellin \"piikkiin\". Aivan upea henkilkunta ja mahtava aamiainen, jossa sai esittää omia toiveitansa tarjolla oevien runsaiden ruokien lisäksi. Matka saaren parhaalle hiekkarannalle oli sopivat 1,2 km, siinä tulli päivittänen tarpeellinen liikunnan perusosa suoritetuksi. Suosittelemme lämpimästi!

繁華街からも近く、便利な立地です。ホテル自体はこじんまりした落ち着いたヴィラで、スタッフの対応は◎。プールはかなり残念な感じなので、リゾートホテル的な滞在を希望している人には不向きかも。18歳未満宿泊禁止なのでとても落ち着いた空気が流れています。部屋の中では聞こえるのは外の虫の音だけ。とても癒される空間です。
