Our experience at this property was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. When nearby guests blasted loud music while I was unwell, the staff refused to intervene and told me to handle it myself. After I politely asked the guests to turn it down, they began mocking us and making pig noises — it was humiliating and made us feel unsafe. The staff’s indifference and lack of support only made things worse. Overall, the atmosphere felt very unwelcoming toward tourists, and I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Property is not of hotel standard but the cleanliness and basic things in the room like towels are not dry and crisp, discoloured from overuse and stains visible on the towels.
Toilet provided toiletries that were half used and still wet on the tray it sat on. The bath area got stuck with water after 2 nights which we managed to resolve after removing the lid over the drain.
My youngest daughter got burnt from the steaming hot water that was flowing out of the shower. Not sure why the water was so hot, could be coz we were at the end of the rooms where the water straight from the heater dispense from.
Buffet breakfast did not start on time at 7.30am and the food were not warmed up for the arrival of the guests. Eventually we only got to sit and eat at 7.45am. One of the bread had mould on it. It was horrendous.
It is not a hotel but a motel and the photos of the villa were deceiving. It was definitely disappointing.

It seems the rooms that are facing the pool look nice. How ever the step down from those rooms are not worth booking. They have no windows or natural light. We were in a room opposite the kitchen the 1st morning we were woken at 6am by staff and kitchen noise. The noise continued for about 90mins while breakfast prep was happening. The room location was not ideal. We got moved a room further down but the noise remained.
As for the room, the size was good and beds are large, but the linen is tired and noticeably stained. The pillows were also very hard. And there was not top/flat sheet. The towels too were pretty poor quality.

The property is also very close to a mosque so at 6am there is very loud prayers over a speaker. So not really a relaxing or restful morning.

The pool is great and kept clean and well maintained but only a few loungers to use.

Breakfast was average. I’d suggest eating at 7.30 when it
starts otherwise the food just sits there and seems to dry out.

Staff were pleasant and check in/out process was good.

It’s about a 15min walk to the beach, or grab cars are easily accessible too.

Their breakfast selection and taste was so so only. Have a unpleasant experience during my last night of stay, no water supply due to piping issue. Although they provide another room’s key for us to use the toilet, but that’s very inconvenient for me and my family members (with old folks and kids)

Cosy & nice hotel for family vacation

This is a cosy, nice & quiet hotel that’s suitable for all holiday goers especially those who prefer near to Pantai Cenang and walking distance to nice local restaurants.
Though not as high class as other reputable hotels in Pantai Cenang, we luv this hotel as its room is clean, comfortable & serves great breakfast. The front office staff & its local Travel agency are very hospitable & friendly. Its also provide quietness compared with other hotels that’s normally very crowded.
Thanks Villa Langkawi for making our 3N stay a wonderful experience.
Would definitely recommend to others!

Public facilities i.e. the pool are good. Room was basic with no natural light and basic facilities. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was adequate but they did not replenish the breakfast buffet, so get there early. Location was great, i.e. 5 - 10 mins walk to Chenang beach. OK quality but for same money would probably recommend you stay at the Fave Hotel which is a few minutes up the road and closer to town.

Easy Access to Villa

The location of the Villa was close to Cenang Beach and access to other attractions on the island were easily accessible. Closeness to Cenang Beach made our trip easier as all the shopping and eateries are closely located. Variety of food choices also made the stay more enjoyable. The morning buffet in the Villa was nice with quite a spread of choices and every day the menu was different.

It's OK for a budget hotel. Breakfast buffet is definitely a plus, however room cleanliness is a concern. Also, since the AirCon wasn't serviced, it didn't work properly.

*We try to change the room tgey refuse among 3 days there is no room available! !

*no service (like other hotels) at all except the reception & limited time for HK.
*we found lazerd in our room . We call reception the did not catch it . And they said it's normal in Malaysia!!!

With this answe i feed up with this hotel. I leave it and gone another hotel. At least more clean and safe.

One of the worst places we've stayed in

The room was small and not very clean. The air was damp and it always felt like there was too much moisture in the room. Not great in terms of soundproofing either - if you don't want to be woken up early in the morning by songs (prayer?), don't stay there. Cherry on top: walking to the beach by the side of the road with no sidewalks. The beach is not too far away, but the infrastructure is really bad and it seems dangerous to walk by the side of the road like that. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to people with kids.

Small quiet hotel

A small quiet hotel away from the main area of Pantai Cenang.. The rooms are large with king size bed, plenty of draw and hanging space and there is also a safe where personal documents can be kept. A large fully tiled bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower. Fresh small bottles of water were provided each day also clean towels. It has a small swimming pool but only four sun beds which could cause a problem. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Shower is good with strong rainfall, breakfast has room for add on more variety.

We enjoyed our stay as it was very comfortable, the only worth mentioning downside is that the hotel is located far from the beach, it takes 20-30 minutes walking to the beach with is exhausting. Also we notice that there are too many mosquitos. Me and my mother got back from Langkawi with a rash in arm and face I'm not really sure if it was the bed sheets or something else.

Pros: The staff, the Breakfast and the location. Had most of what we needed during the holiday (Considering we spent most of our time outdoors)

Cons: Storage in the room is a must according to me. Cupboards/Wardrobes atleast 1. More ventilation and natural light is very essential.
Location: Easy walk to the quiet beach, and very good local food restaurants on the way to the main Patai Cenang Beach Road.

Highlights of the stay: Very warm and friendly staff, good variety at the breakfast buffet. Pros: Convenient Location (Although renting a bike/car is recommended). They have all basic amenities for a holiday room, more leaning towards people who prefer spending time outdoors and use the hotel for a dip in the pool and a comfy room to sleep in. Con's: Rooms didn't have windows for natural light or air, can get noisy for light sleepers and the pool almost in front of room doors, Rooms also didn't have any wardrobes/shelves for keeping clothes (was the only major drawback). Just to note, that this is more of a boutique styled hotel and not a resort.

Also please ignore previous review about not finding ATM's and currency converters. There are now plenty in number, we found a better exchange rate at Maybank, and even better if you had to withdraw from the ATM's as our bank didnt charge us withdrawal fees.

Bad soundproof and stinky smell in the bathroom

The overall stay was good but not worth the price. There was a strong sewer smell in the bathroom and the soundproof is very bad. I was woken up by the morning prayers two times (around 5am and 6am) in the morning and I could hear the sound of the hotel crews preparing for breakfast. The breakfast is really good though.

Stayed for 4 nights, staffs were really helpful in giving directions and tips on exploring the island. Very good 5-star service from the hotel receptionist. Pool was great to soak in. Wifi-signal strength was strong. Room is very spacious(deluxe). Hotel also does booking for island activities like island-hopping, snorkelling etc. More cheaper as compared to when you walked in along Cenang Beach counters. Breakfast was sufficient with different menu daily. Mosquito repellent was provided in the room. Area is very quiet, good if you need relaxing time away from now-bustling Cenang Beach. You should hire a personal driver or a rented car if you want to explore the island on your on, as places are quite a distant. Or you can choose to walk around as we did especially after a good meal and shopping from Cenang Beach. A nearby restaurant(Lebuk Buaya) has really good seafood speciality like ikan bakar(bbq fish).

My room was 101, had mosquitos all the time but the management was considerate to leave mosquito repellent in the room.
Check in was brief, counter staff was friendly.

Pleasent stay and wonderfull staff and hotel

All in all the stay was perfect,comfy and realaxed.we had a economy room booked but when reached hotel they upgraded us to Premium room which was in front of the pool.it was fabolous and specious.
The brakfast was very tasty and all different menu on three different days.
All the hotel staff were smiley and greeted us all the time when ever we had any interection with them.Wonderfull and helpfull staff.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THE VILLA YOU WOULD FEEL IT AS YOU ARE AT HOME.

Pros - Free upgrade to family room (with two queen size beds) because deluxe room was overbooked. Friendly and helpful staff - one of the staff called to remind us about our (inclusive) breakfast when we didn't show up at 10.30am. Fast speed free wifi in the room. Considerate service with electric mosquito repellent provided. 5 minutes drive to Cenang Mall and beach. 15 minutes drive to airport.

Cons - TV channels are only limited to local channels (we were promised other satellite channels during booking). Amenities like tooth brush and facial towel are not provided. Town is far from our hotel. Depending on traffic, it's approximately 30 to 40 minutes drive to reach Kuah Jetty and Dataran Lang.

Easy walk from beach, Restaurants & shops.

As our room adjoined the swimming pool area, there was a lot of noise from children during the day, then young adults very noisy in the later evening, coming in late & carrying on until 2:30am some evenings. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, & varying dishes every day. We were able to hire a car for a few days,with the Hotel Reception arranging the booking which was excellent. The staff were very helpful & courteous.

The Villa is a modern hotel with clean rooms and easy access, all being on one level. The rooms and bathrooms are large with good air conditioning, also plenty of storage/shelf space. Some rooms did not have a view or usable window - had to keep curtains drawn at all times

Beautiful clean pool was a delight after a hot day. Only a moderate walk to the beach and main shopping areas, with some good restaurants just down the road. Has its own travel and tours desk.

1. Poor sound proof as we can hear kids screaming at the swimming pool despite our room is far from the swimming pool.
2. Breakfast can be improved. Not much choice and taste average.
3. Poor internet coverage.
4. Beach is about 10 min walk.

Good location, close to Cenang beach.

The hotel looks and feels exactly as described in the website. Google maps points to the wrong location though. The hotel is actually on the favehotel road. Rooms are a little small, but neat. Decent breakfast buffet spread too. Overall, a good hotel and a great price

Ok, but far from town, and early wake-up calls

The room was clean and nice. It was our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a pool-side suite, which was great. However, we were awoken every night with ridiculously loud bangs on the roof - apparently the bats came out and and chewed on the branches on the tree above us and the fruits would slam on to the room. It was SO loud - we didn't sleep a wink! The hotel staff were able to let us sleep in another room for our other nights, but still enjoy the benefits of that room, which was nice of them. Also, there is a mosque right beside the hotel. If you're not waking up for call to prayer at 6am, you will be.
The hotel is also about a 10-15 min walk from the beach, with almost nothing up on that end of the strip (e.g. no shops or many restaurants). I believe the map looks like it's closer to the beach, which is misleading.

The staff in general were nice, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fairly standard, but good. and the pool was refreshing.

Hotel close to the beach

The Villa Hotel, Langkawi was only around 1/2 hour from the airport. The facilities included a comfortable family room, cable TV, swimming pool, free Wifi and breakfast. The breakfast was very basic and the swimming pool was too deep (6 feet) for the children. The staff were friendly and treated the guests well. The room was spacious, comfortable and could fit our family of two adults and two children. The hotel was a great value for money
