The pictures don’t reflect the standard of the hotel - it is very run down, stain carpets in the hall, pool was green when we were there. But if you can look past the decor the location is right across the road from the beach, AC works and it has hot water and a fridge.

The room TV only has 3 local channels and even then reception is poor. When first entered the room there was a funky smell. The shower area is not separated from the rest of the bathroom and drainage is a bit poor as water collects and pools behind the toilet seat. Room is quite spacious, reasonably well appointed and is good value. Maintenence could be better, I had to clean the aircon filters myself as they were completely clogged and affected cooling.

Needs improvement

Location is good with the beach across the road. Availability of hot and strong shower as well as aircond are good. Bed is comfortable too. But hotel needs refurbishment. Room condition, furniture , mirror, water boiler and mini chiller are old and worn out. Cleanliness needs to be improved as bed head panel, windows and table tops are oily/sticky and/or food/drink stains from previous guest stay.

Love langkawi.

The location was great. The hotel needs some work and some tlc. Our time on the 2 nd floor room was noisy. From street traffic which is out of their control. But we did have a problem with noise from the evening staff. It sounded like a bowling ball was being rolled across a concrete floor. It was the weirdest noise. We approached the night staff to complain. The noise stopped that night. But continued the next evening. The location was great. I try and stay positive on these reviews but this was unacceptable.

Loved the location but ....

Great location, the noise from the night staff below our room was unsettling. It started around 11pm and continued early in the morning. It sounded like a bowling ball rolling on a concrete floor. We are not sure what was going on but it happened every night of our stay on the second floor. Our final night we moved to the 5 th floor , that problem stopped. 5th floor room ac leaked on the carpet all night. This hotel was in a great location but it’s in need of some maintenance and some tlc. I try and stay positive on these post but it was just to big of an issue not to say anything.

Location was great. Everything else was terrible . Small smelly dirty dark room . Sheets had stains on it . Shower was extremely high and terrible flow .Has no separate shower cubicle . Property rated 3 star but it is 2 star only . We had to go to a different hotel for 2 nights .

Staff - very helpful
Chalet - air condition not working well, toilet could not flush well. However, request to change to another room. This was done very fast.

Family room with 2 queen bed is only given on third day check in. First day check in was given a room facing a construction site on 1st floor which had to drag your luggage through staircase......actually there is toooooo many to complaine which i will only sum up into \"BAD EXPERIENCE STAY AND WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN\".....its truly DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!

Rooms where not cleaned properly ,we gave key for cleaning they didn’t clean ,but swimming pool was good to play for my kid and car parking was good ,places near by for restaurants and local food mart and supermarket ,overall is good ,only cleaning didn’t do but that’s k next time I will try to stay

The room is located at a block of building behind the resort. So no sea view available from balcony. The room has inadequate furniture which is only one chair for four people room. The floor of the bathroom is a bit dusty.Also, the floor trap in the bathroom got stucked. Thus the overall condition of the room is considered average or below.

The room is spacious, free and ample parking facilities with access card for hotel guests. CCTV at parking area. Next to pharmacy, restaurants, auto-teller machine and just a 2 minutes walk to the beach front.

Bed bugs and dirty towels :(

We booked a few rooms for our stay. One of the rooms where my cousin, his wife and 5 year old child slept in had bed bugs all over the bed. We had to shift rooms 3 am on our first night there. The hotel staff (security staff actually) helped us with the shifting of rooms. He was helpful. But after that, no staff spoke to us to say sorry for the inconvenience or anything. There was no acknowledgement from the manager. We tried to meet the manager to speak about this but he/she was never around. The bathtubs had rust around it and the towels were all terribly faded, we were scared to even touch it. It is a cheap and convenient hotel but i wouldn't go there again because of the bed bugs and their towel conditions. there were stains on some of the sofas in the rooms. We could not get other hotels to stay in after the bed bugs incident as they were all fully booked. So we stayed at this place and hoped to god we don't carry any bed bugs home.

One of the tallest hotel beside the beach

Great view can be seen from the hotel as the beach is just opposite the hotel. They is a small Swimming pool and spa inside the hotel. The mall is just beside the hotel and most shops are just beside the hotel. Great place to relax

Check in was terrible. Staff was unfriendly, they act like they are the owners. Poor service. Went to the place early, at first they say my booking number is different from what they received from expedia. Then they say they will call me when they rectified everything. A front desk female staff told me to come back at 12pm, another told me 3pm. I asked them again will they call me to notify me, they say they will call. Guess what? No call at all. When to check in later that day, staff all sour face.

Room was just average. Mirrors everywhere. Especially the huge piece of mirror on the wall beside the bed. Kinda weird to have that huge piece of mirror facing the bed.

Check out process was slow. They have to send their staff to check the room which takes forever!

This hotel is in an excellent area across from the beach. Lots of excellent restaurants are very close to the hotel. For those on a budget Pizza Hut is across the street with a good takeaway individual pizza with soup for under 10 myr. The shopping mall with bank is next door and loads of other shops are along the beach. A good hotel for the price.

location is very nice. you can easily access tour program and cenang beach. before i arrive hotel, i'm worried about hotel's clean condition because i've seen bad comment. but dont worry. the hotel is very clean!! if i would have one more chance to come langkawi with my friends, i want to stay here. one thing need to improve is wifi connection. it is very weak.

Staff not at all friendly.Good location.

The staff is a bit arrogant. I had to stand in queue for 15 minutes to check in. Plus they asked for 100 MYR as security deposit. Also, the check in timings are a bit absurd (check in is 3 pm and check out is 12 noon). Technically, if a person is staying for one day, he is entitled to stay for 21 hours only. Also, they asked for money for a bottle of water (apart from the 2 bottles which they give for free per day). Overall, the staff was not at all friendly, felt like we were thiefs rather than their guests. It seems as if the staff thinks that this kind of behaour is acceptable as they are one of the few good hotels in Pentai Cenang, which is the most happening area of the city.

But considering all this, someone might just think about revisiting the place if they are planning to use the hotel room just for sleeping, as the rooms are pretty comfortable for the price.

Good Hotel in a great location

The check in and out was fast. you need to request for Towels, even if you have used them and room services have collected used towel. They have great parking space behind the hotel which is a Plus. Loads of eating place around the Hotel so location is a plus. For me rooms are spacious, clean and toilets are clean and spacious with bath tub.The carpets in room are faded and needs to be replaced.Currently roads are in progress, hence the entrance to the hotel is a bit of challenge. IF you are used to this place, them you can enter from the behind the Hotel.

Ok looking exterior,but below average interior. Dirty linen,however changed immediately when requested. Door lock was not working and fixed immediately as well. Housekeeping would only replenish drinking water and \"make\"the bed. Bathroom in terrible conditions. Very very budget hotel.
