On my first night my room 126 had noisy traffic outside but staff moved me next day to 123 which was much appreciated.
My room looked onto the lovely pool area.

This is the worst \"hotel\" I have stayed in 'ever' -
1. The slightest rain is audible ane feels like sleeping in a shed or under a corrugated roof. The noise is unbearable. Traffic is loudly audible like sleeping on the roadside siemtime. I felt like I was a pet animal in a dogs pen or rabbits box the whole time.
2. It is attached fo a medical clinic and shares the same parking . There is no parking in front of the hotel. I felt I was sleeping in the clinic spare building
3. The building sits on the roadside
4. The rooms are \"very small\" indeed with nowhere to sit inside the room itself and I had to ask and was given a plastic chair !
5. The room we had has adjouining doors room next door. So dinner expect any private as yiu will everyone around you in the rooms next to you
6 there is no outside window in the room so no natural light - feels like prison cell.
7. There is zero privacy - the fake \"window\" (don't believe the photos !) looks out to the corridors where literally everyone walking past can see into your room unless you draw the curtain fully closed making it even darker in the room which already has no natutal light
8 There is no dining room - you have to sit around the tiny pool
9. There is no balcony ! (this is the worst misdecription) - its just a small fake fenced off area in front of the entrance door to the room with some seating. There is zero privacy
10 the nurses from the attached clinic stare

Good location, recommended, think before booking

I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is great – close to Pantai Cenang Beach and very convenient for exploring the area. The property itself is fairly clean and the rooms are comfortable.

However, my experience was let down by poor service. The bathroom had serious water pressure issues. I complained 3 times, but nothing was done – each time I was told maintenance would come the next day, but nobody ever fixed it. When I asked to be moved to another room, I was told the hotel was fully booked. This turned out not to be true, as I checked online and saw availability.

It was disappointing that the staff did not take the issue seriously or offer any solution. For the price and location, this hotel has potential, but based on my experience I would advise thinking carefully before booking.

This place was a gem! The vibes were tropical, the staff was superb. The breakfast came in clutch so we didn't have think about where to eat as soon as we'd wake up. The pool was clean and enjoyable. I love how outside each room they had a little outdoor semiprivate porch like space. The location was also super convenient right across a supermarket that had virtually everything you would need. We were also walking distance to a great brunch place called greens and a Syrian restaurant on the other side. The only comment might be the AC was not functioning as good as one would expect. This was when we initially came in the room. However we did notice it improved over the course of our trip. Ultimately though a fan would have been helpful. The staff was excellent though. Very receptive to our feedback and even went the extra mile to make our stay amazing!!! 10/10 would highly recommend

Lovely hotel. Great location, nice quiet area about 5 min away from the main town. The room was great, had everything we needed - cleaned and restocked each day. Pool area was always clean and pool towels provided. Only down side was in out room at night there is a constant beeping alarm every 30 seconds, we were only able to sleep as we had ear plugs but it may not be as loud from other rooms. Despite this we had a great stay and would come again

I would say more for pack packers . The staff were so nice , kind and very helpful . Nothing is too much trouble for them to help.
The room was clean BUT a the bathrooms have an open aspect so this makes for lots of noise from homes behind the hotel , cars racking at night , motorbikes. We had a couple arguing Al night till 330am and that was annoying.
The pool is nice and cool , not very big. The sun beds need upgrading old and tired dirty covers. The breakfast was very good and and again the staff very nice .

We had a very nice stay. Everything was perfect except that for a light sleeper, the noise from the road could be a problem. To overcome, ask for a room at the far side of the hotel. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodation. Adam at the reception was brilliant. Would certainyl stay there again.

This place is a longish walk or a short bike / motorbike ride from Cenang Beach, which can be good or bad depending on your preference.

The room design, especially the bathroom, is nice for hotels in this price range, and the inside was clean and not overly noisy.

Only thing that mattered to me that was poorer than expected was the shower water pressure, which was pathetically weak. Took twice as long as usual to get clean — no water saved.

But overall, still a great deal

Wasn't quite sure what to expect however, after a warm welcome in and seeing the beautiful glowing pool area at night, I knew it was a good choice.
Housekeeping folks working quickly and efficient. Everyone so friendly.
The Malaysian breakfast was delicious especially with a small menu.
It's only a short walk or ride to the busy beach area
Many nice restaurants in whole area with inexpensive Grab rides.
Fun activities and beautiful beaches near.
What more could one need?

Room generally clean though furniture a bit dated. Specious bath room but the hand held shower has very slow and little water. Suspect the pipe leaks. Luckily there is another shower head which works well. A little distance walk to beach, around 10 to 15 mins to find food and relax at beach. Breakfast provided, 2 western and 2 Malaysian to choose from. Simple but nice for short stay. There's a small swimming pool but we have no time to use that.

Great hospitality and location

Great hospitality and location. The front desk staff namely Wawa and Ain are so pleasant, efficient and accommodating and that too applies to all other staff. The room is pretty spacious and the shower area is big. Wished that the shower place have some more amnesties like hand towels curtain on the side wooden window where those in the bedroom can the person showering. Housekeeping is good and the place is really clean. Airport to this resort is only around 7 mins drive and walking to the town is around 15 mins. This is better than staying in the town which is so noisy and crowded. The wonderful thing is that if one is lazy to walk, Grab services is so cheap. The beaches here are amazing. Really great place to visit for a short getaway.

A Relaxing Stay

Stay at Telaga Suite. It's a spacious room with 1 queen+1 single bed + a large sofa. Jacuzzi in the bathroom was really amazing, readily with a bubble bath and hot water for us to enjoy after tiring day. Less density and less crowd which I can have the privacy. Some area that can be improved;
1) Unpleasant pillow case smell
2) Breakfast : same breakfast menu which can be bored for long stay.
3) Breakfast : Many flies while having my breakfast
3) Breakfast : to inform upfront before provide the meal as from my conversation with the hotel earlier, for 3 years kids does not incur additional charge to me except for 8 & 10 kids. It's a waste for both side when provide the bfast for him but I need to pay for it (as i though its inclusive). Anyway this might be due to the miscommunication.

It was a nice stay. The room was ok. Bed firm, fridge was working but looked old. Cupboards were creaking. Big bathroom as shown in picture with the plants. Hot water and facilities were good.

I must thank the staff for taking the initiative to make our stay as satisfying as possible. They had been serving the same simple breakfast menu - nasi lemak or western bread and omelette. As Malaysians, we opted for nasi lemak. But after the second day, we suggested to the front desk if they could get us fried meehoon, just for the change. And we were surprised, they got it done for us on the third morning.

My suggestion: to make it cozy in the room, they really don’t need the cupboard, just an open closet with hangers will do, make it modern. So, there will be space to put the fridge on top of a table instead of on the floor.

Overall, a good stay. The property is close to Pantai Cenang, but you need at least a 15 minutes walk to the shopping area.

And the whole our staying there were absolutely same breakfasts (every day you have the same) and also not always fresh (nasi lemak in Malaysian breakfast).

We loved it at Telaga! The staff were beyond friendly and helpful.

The pool was clean and surroundings upkept.

We have stayed many places in Malaysia and expected for the price we were paying, for the place to be a bit outdated, but we were pleasantly surprised to find the opposite! Clean, comfy bed, beautiful showers, overall great value for money.

They served options for breakfast, with tea or coffee.

It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the beach or a very inexpensive quick Grab. Easy to find rental bikes and cars around Langkawi as well.

We chose to opt for the free shuttle to the airport at the end of the stay, it was clean, new and early to pick us up.

We booked four rooms in total as we were travelling with a group. We were extremely happy with our rooms and our stay.

Everyone in our group is excited to return!

Great hotel, nice and small centred around the shared swimming pool. Buffet breakfast near the pool in the mornings. Pool open 24 hours to adults which can be a tad noisy so bring earplugs. Wifi isn’t great was my only concern. Friendly and helpful staff. About 7 minute walk to the beach or the main walking street in Langkawi. We really enjoyed not being in the centre of the hustle and bustle and the Thursday night market is really close walking distance. Had a really nice experience staying at telaga terrace, thank you

The room was really nice, very clean and had everything you needed! The negative here is that the property is on the side of a fairly busy road. The way the rooms are situated is very odd a bit like a motel!! If you don’t book a room by the pool you will be down a fairly dark outside corridor facing a wall! We did get used to it but it wasn’t our best stay!! The staff were all really nice and helpful

The beach is only a 20 minute walk away, the shop across the road sold the cheapest beer I’ve found in Malaysia so far, my room was comfortable and I had everything that I needed. With regards to breakfast I really enjoyed the Malaysian options! The staff were really helpful too.

From the moment I landed till I checked out, the hotel staff has never failed to impress me. They are super friendly and nice, going all out to assist me and my wife in all our request for car rental and booking for island hopping and to use the room when the staff was actually cleaning it.

The hotel itself is very compact yet has its own character with the pool and dining area. We booked the Telaga Suite with its own tub and it is very nice and spacious. WiFi signal is strong and water pressure is good.

Definitely recommend this place and will come back to stay here!

Wonderful resort hotel. Not too large that you are just a room number. Staff are it’s best asset.
They knew my flight number and were at the airport to collect me. I had an early departure, but they insisted they take me to the airport, both free of charge. They go the extra mile to be helpful.

Brilliant, relaxing place!

We decided to splash out on a suite, and we were thrilled to be welcomed with a bottle of bubbly on ice and the jacuzzi bath (a double, amazing) in the spotless, huge bathroom filled for us. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is peaceful and a lovely, relaxing environment. Short walk in to town and the main beach (took us about 5 minutes, doable even in the heat). The suite was brilliant, and everything was sparkly clean and worked as it should, including the Wi-Fi.

Hotel - the room very clean and smell fresh as they lit up the aromatic candle at the terrace area. Room was cleaned everyday. Very nice and serene hotel environment. Bathroom very spacious too! Pool just nice 😍 Love to chill at terrace however got mosquitoes 😬. Facilities are all good. Except no phone in the room so have to go to front desk for any requests.

Breakfast - maybe can improve on the variety and spread. I feel like having same items everyday.

The telaga suite was very, very nice with a clean, bright and spacious bathroom that had a built in jacuzzi. The staff were friendly and responded quickly when we requested for face towels. We had the good fortune to have met the hotel's GM. She was also very friendly too! Souvenirs shops and seafood restaurants were 1 minute away. Overall, very happy with my stay at Telaga Terrace.

Nice affordable hotel close to Cenang besch

This is a very nice, affordable hotel 10 minutes walk (or 4 RM grab) to Cenang beach. Staff are very helpful and beds were very comfortable (firm mattress which I love). Nice spacious bathroom with rainwater shower head. There’s a pool in the courtyard to have a swim and chill after a big day in the sun. There are some friendly cats around the hotel which I found cute. The buffet breakfast is reasonable with traditional Malay and western options, or the kitchen can cook you up something simple like an omelette for no extra charge.

Some minor improvements could be made. There were a couple of mosquitos around and in the room. The rooms could probably use some extra hooks to hang things on. It was a little bit annoying to have to hand in the room key every time we wanted to leave the hotel to go out, but some rooms are all swipe card access.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and relatives who are staying in Langkawi.

Me and my husband really enjoy our stay at telaga terrace. Our room was a masuri suite . There is balcony corner right outside our room . So relaxing and cosy.. we also enjoyed our jacuzzi its just that its hard to tell which is for temperature which is tap water and which is the shower tap.. so we got to try and figure out to adjust. Yes the bed is so huge and so much comfortable.. staff are all nice and friendly.. willing to help.. Convenient is they have super market and pharmacy opposite the road and 10 mins to airport so much convenient.. u can get grab within seconds and affordable price..

My wife and I booked the MAHSURI SUITE.

PROS:
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was amazing when me and my wife first stepped in. They already had the jacuzzi prepared with flowers. Room looks clean and comfy.
Jacuzzi was fantastic.

CONS:
The phone was DRIPPING with some sort of perfumed hair oil or sunblock. Didnt check when cleaning.
The toilet bidet hose is leaky. Trying to wash your bum is like taking a shower. Water spraying everywhere.
Sink and toilet doesnt drain well. A little blocked.
They prepared some fruits and snacks as a welcome gift. Fruits didnt look fresh.
No toilet paper and tissue.
No more candles for the aroma oil.

Preparation of the room for the next guest was poor. Cable TV was a little buggy.

You need to turn on the hit water and wait a while. It is not centralized water heating.
If they had the room properly prepared for our arrival, it would have been a much better...Wow effect.

Hidden Gem

Such a friendly staff, brilliant location, nice big room, great pool area for us.
Breakfast was basic but enough choice or basics to fill up on. Only realised on second day they will cook you eggs the way you want. We had lunch there one day. Again it wasn’t very clear that they do lunch but it was very tasty and cheap. Convenience store across the road is awesome (there is nothing they don’t sell). Less than 10min walk to Cenang.

Overall, we loved it here and would totally come back.

Nice little hotel.

Great little hotel close to beach and main town( 5-10 mins walk). Rooms are nice with great shower/toilet. Pool small and tidy but great for a dip to cool down. Staff very friendly and helpful. My only gripe is the breakfast. Choice is ok but food constantly cold, also they run out of food and customers have to tell them to replace or fill up which shouldn’t happen. Apart from that it’s a great place to stay.

Perfect little hotel

We and my fiancé had a great stay at Telaga Terrace. The front of house staff were so helpful and friendly, they really made us feel welcome!
The room was a really good size and the bathroom with its rain shower was perfect. We also liked the location beside Telaga Walk which had good food and entertainment every night.

Overall a very pleasant stay, we would certainly stay here again!

Lovely, will stay again. Arrived late in the evening and reception still open. Lovy reception. Room great, pool great. Breakfast had lots of choices. Checked out but could stay all day till departure time. They called a taxi for us.

OK if you smoke or don't want to sleep

Staff are nice and that's where it stops.
Walls are paper thin so you hear everything in adjoining rooms, there is a light in outside corridor that stays on all night. Curtains do nothing + add 2 bright lights from air cond and it's like daylight in the room at night..
Only stay there if you are a smoker as there are seating areas outside each room where we had chain smokers either side on one night and smoke wafts into our room. Breakfast is beyond basic.

Lovely stay in a friendly hotel

Charming hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely pool and seating area. Rooms have a nice outside seating area and spacious bathroom with a good hot shower. Only 10 mins walk to the beach and the edge of the town. Uber is affordable and plentiful if you don't fancy the walk in the heat.
