The staff were very friendly and helpful. Since the hotel is a block away from the town center it was very quiet but easy to walk everywhere. I was disappointed the restaurant and terrace weren’t open, but that’s just a seasonal thing. I would definitely stay again. And having parking was very helpful.

This hotel is in a great location, just minutes away from the old town Alba. The staff were very friendly and anxious to serve. The beds were extremely firm, my only complaint. I do like a firm bed but this was like a rock to me. Others in our party were not unhappy with them. Breakfast was amazing!!!! Best juices ever!!! And the bar service at night kept us off the street. I would definitely stay here again!

Contemporary, efficient, and comfortable stay. A big plus is the glass enclosed rooftop restaurant at sunset with its welcoming staff. Free, garaged parking is much appreciated.

conveniently located 5 mins away from town centre. Room was very clean and comfortable beds. However, the deco is really dated. I felt like it was staying in a 1980's hotel. So, it seems a bit over-priced compared to other hotels I stayed in this trip.

The staff is incredibly nice, helpful, and professional. The rooms are recently renovated, clean, and comfortable. The location is fantastic (5 minutes from the middle of the old city). Free parking. And the BEST hotel restaurant ever. We ate at some of the best restaurants in the entire city, but Ristorante I Castelli blows them out of the water (and has great views to boot). Throw in the inexpensive room service (again with great food) and a very expansive buffet breakfast and you'd be crazy not to stay here!

The hotel was fine; good bed; good TV; comfortable room; you can't hardly feel the A/C in the month of August; the breakfast buffet was fine. The hotel restaurant was closed during August; if you get hungry or thirsty at night, you will need to walk a long way to find something. You would need to take a cab from the Alba train station to get to this hotel.

Convenient Base for Piedmont Wine Country
My husband and I stayed one night in Alba in order to visit nearby Piedmont wine country. I Castelli was clean, comfortable, and had on-site parking. The service was helpful, professional. Breakfast was typical of what you would expect at 4-star hotel in Italy - hot eggs, fresh pastries, fresh fruit. Would recommend this hotel again.

Hotel staff very accommodating. Their restaurant is probably one of the most overlooked in the city; decor not exceptional, but quiet, decent mood, good food, and good wine list that's affordable. Walking distance to all the piazzas, other restaurants and historical sites. Would definitely recommend this hotel for price, location, and overall value. Outshines many Milan hotels we have stayed at recently.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were modern, clean and very well maintained. As a business traveller, this hotel in Alba was a perfect base to explore Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero, as well as being a very short walk from the historic town centre. Ten out of ten.

Ho soggiornato in una doppia uso singola, la stanza veramente molto grande e confortevole, il bagno pulito e doccia spaziosa. Colazione sufficientemente varia e di buona qualità, suggerisco di chiedere il caffè/cappuccino alle cameriere, altrimenti ci sono a disposizione le macchine automatiche, la cui qualità non sarà mai quella delle macchine da bar! Ho mangiato al ristorante all'ultimo piano, buona qualità, forse un po' caro, ma adeguato ai prezzi della zona.
