We had an amazing stay and this beautiful finca hotel. The service was always accommodating and extremely friendly. Food was excellent and the room was perfect for our family of three. The hotel is much bigger than it appears or feels, and we were surprised by the numbers of people actually staying there. However, it was always quiet and peaceful, which we loved. Located in a location easy to get to many popular nearby destinations…furtherest we ever drove was 45 min away. We loved our stay here, recommend it highly, and we’ll definitely be back again!

Overall a very enjoyable stay
Very nice hotel! The best thing about it was that it was offering everything you needed in a very decent price. Amazing room, immaculately clean, huge and extremely comfortable beds, excellent pool and spa area. Very quite and remote. Good food at the restaurant with some improvement needed. Some of the stuff could do with a bit of more nice attitude but the vast majority were brilliant. The lady in the front desk is extremely knowledgeable of the island so just follow her advice on what to do. We even played tennis which was perfect.
For the area my advice would be to definitely aboif the horrible sa coma and Cala Millor which are just overcrowded with big buildings. Cala torta is only 20 minutes drive and one of the best beaches I have ever been to. Also go to valdemossa!

Unfortunately for us it was popular with young families and our suite was between two occupied by couples with babies and a toddler.
The suites are modern built semi-detached bungalows with a large well appointed bathroom separating the bedroom from the sitting area & south facing terrace with loungers - very pleasant in appearance but with paper thin walls so you hear every sound from your neighbours. There are also recesses by the ceiling which house the local mosquito population.
The breakfast was very good & the staff helpful apart from the owner/manager.
A few mins after arriving we tried to change room but it was fully booked so we offered to pay for 1 night and leave immediately. The owner refused to deal with us so we had the farce of a series of calls from me to Hotels.com (sympathetic & helpful) and them to owner and vice versa. Eventually the owner let us pay for 2 nights and leave after 1.

Lovely peaceful hotel in a rural position. Excellent base for exploring the island. Staff polite with excellent spoken English and other languages. Good breakfast and dinner menu, speedy efficient, friendly service and food reasonably priced. Advertised free wifi rather temperamental, which was irritating, no British TV channels or British newspapers, think we were only British there, which wasn't a problem for us. Hotel very clean, maid service excellent, even if she did leave us a farewell note with two chocolates in German. A welcome drink is provided and we had an extra one as our room wasn't ready which was appreciated. I did notice there wasn't any diet/slimline drinks available, or choice of milk ie soy, skimmed or semi skimmed, which I would have liked but we just bought some locally. Would go back, overall a pleasing experience.

My wife and I, stayed in september 2012 at The Son Trobat Rural Hotel. We enjoyed every minutes that we spend at the hotel : the food was excellent, the staff was nice and the room was wondefull. We are so please that we plan to go back again and recommend it to friends and familly.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Son Trobat Rural Hotel. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, all of the facilities were beautiful, and in excellent condition, the rooms were lovely and the staff was amazing. We borrowed bikes, swam in the pool, and also had lovely suppers at the hotel restaurant. They have an excellent selection of local wines.

Entspannender Urlaub mit viel Komfort
Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb und mal hat eine runderbare Ruhe. Die Häuser mit jeweils zwei Haushälften bieten eine perfekten Komfort und einem eigenen Stück Garten. Eine sehr gepflegte Poolanlage mit weiteren Bereiche ...einfach klasse. Das Frühstücksbuffet wie auch das Restaurant sind sehr gut von der Qualität und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich.

Sehr gute Ruheoase mit überragendem Frühstücksbuffet. Waren jetzt das 3. Mal dort und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.Top Zimmer, natürlich benötigt man in der Lage eien Auto, aber das weiß man vorher.
Einzig das Essen (meist kaum gewürzt, kein/kaum Gemüse) und der Service beim Abendessen haben nachgelassen. Die Karte ist zudem recht langweilig und wurde auch über Jahre nicht verändert.

Beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner, on vous propose des œufs brouillés, œufs au plat etc. Dîner très bon (demi pension) avec poissons et viandes de qualité (chateaubriand de bœuf par exemple, dorades, saumon). Attention, les boissons soft et alcools sont payantes et sont à régler à la fin du séjour, mais bons prix (comptez 6€50 pour un cocktail).
Piscine avec énormément de transats et à l’ombre. Très paisible, le jardin est sublime.
Possibilité d’avoir des parasols pour la plage.
Ne parlent pas français, il faut communiquer en espagnol ou anglais.

Avec mon épouse nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine dans cet hôtel ou le personnel est attentionné et professionnel. Nous avons trouvé leur établissement tellement agréable que nous avons finalement décidé d'y manger 5 jour sur 6...ce qui n'était pas prévu!

Der idyllische Charme der vergangen Jahre ist weg.
Wir sind über mehrere Jahre verteilt nun das dritte mal in dieser Finca gewesen. Es ist sehr ordentlich, sauber und eigentlich idyllisch. Leider ist der Charme der ursprünglichen kleinen Fincaanlage verloren gegangen. Es wurde jedes Jahr mehr und mehr angebaut, so dass es mittlerweile ein Hotel mit Massengeschäft ist. Da fehlt einfach die Ruhe zum erholen und das Personal kommt z. B. beim Frühstück kaum hinter her. Schade. :-/

Fue una estancia magnífica. Fuimos dos adultos y bebé de dos años. El hotel es una maravilla, las habitaciones muy espaciosas y cómodas con terraza exterior, y con la piscina a dos pasos. El entorno es precioso también. Aunque lo que hizo la estancia más agradable si puede fue lo atentos y agradables que fue todo el personal. Wir waren das erste Mal auf Mallorca und wollten einen weiten Bogen um die Ballermann-Klischees machen.
Das gelingt in diesem Quartier wunderbar. Sehr freundliches hilfsbereites Personal, tolles Essen, Wellness, ein frischrenoviertes Zimmer etc.
Im Sommer noch ein großer Außenpool.

Das Hotel Son Tobat liegt im Nordosten der Insel etwa 1km abseits der Hauptstraße einige Kilometer von der nächsten Stadt und etwa 10 km von der Küste entfernt, umgeben von Olivenbäumen in einer sehr gepflegten und liebevoll gestalteten Gartenanlage, die auch einen Pool und Tennisplatz umfasst. Auch eine Sauna und ein Innenpool stehen zur Verfügung, auf Wunsch können auch massagen und Anwendungen gebucht werden.

Excellentes Hotel abseits des Massentourismus
Eine wunderschöne Anlage, die klassisch mallorquinische Elemente mit modernem Design verbindet. Die Suite mit Terrasse bietet viel Platz, ebenso das Bad mit BD und Dusche. Selbst die Klimaanlage stört die Ruhe nicht. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und das 3 Gänge Dinner im Rahmen der HP ist excellent. Der Restaurantbereich verbindet Innenraum und Terrasse geschickt. An heißen Sommerabenden sitzt man entspannt unter Bäumen, die ein schattiges Dach bieten.
Verfügbare Liegen am großzügigen Pool sind auch bei 100% Auslastung des Hotel zu haben.
